The blades of vengeances have fallen swiftly. The shinobi are no more as 'Absolute Justice' has returned...now, it is the Samurai that rule the Five Major Nations!
But at what cost? Have they become the very thing that they despised the most...? Heroes and villains seem to change roles every day, but one thing is for certain - we yearn for our freedom, for days gone by where we flew the skies unhindered.
"So is Kohana still the hokage?" A conversation best kept within the village, the former leader was curious. Surely, his student and by all means, son, would inform him later. As the two strolled inwards, allowing the gate to close behind, a smile was evident upon the man's face. Oh, the feeling it was to be home again.
I had been very eager to return to the roots of my heritage. It is said that the Nara clan once stood strong amongst the powerful clans of Konohagakure. As I set out to search for its mysterious gates, I felt a sense of pride swelling inside me. Kirigakure was my home, but Konoha held many answers to the unanswered questions of my lineage. Hopefully I could find something worthwhile in these walls, something that will leave me fulfilled.
After a shit-load of travelling, I had finally managed to get to the gates of Konoha. Many shinobi of the mist have visited here, and with Konoha being our allies it was easy to get information on the location of the gates from some of the shinobi in Kirigakure. Now the only thing left would be getting in.
I searched for a rock of a good size, and found one by a tree not far from the gate. I formed a few hand-seals before marking the rock with my shiki1. Next I focused my aim and sent the rock flying over the gates. I could feel the rock land, and I stayed still for a moment as I waited for any kinds of disturbance around it. Minutes would pass, and when I was convinced there was nobody around the rock I warped to its location.
1Hiraishin Shiki-Jutsu (Flying Thunder God Technique Formula) Rank: SS Range: - Type: Supplementary Handseals: 3 Chakra Consumption: High Hiraishin, the seal which allows its owner the unique ability to literally cross space and time and teleport to it. Able to be placed on anything, from parchment, paper and weapons, to actual people, this legendary teleportation skill is surpassed by none. It''s easy - by creating a destination marker, or 'technique formula', the owner of the shiki can detect its signal from anywhere in the world, so that they may have the option of warping to it.
Note: The Hiraishin seal cannot be removed by 'Gogyou Kaiin' (Five Elements Unseal), or any other 'unsealing' method; the only legitimate way to 'deal' with it is by destroying the very surface it is placed on, or by killing the owner. User can 'feel' the surface which has seal placed on it, including if/when it is moved, and whether any form of contact has been established with it. The time in which the user is notified of any changes is instant. Once placed, the seal will remain visible for all to see. Users can visit a shiki multiple times, until it is either removed by the user or destroyed.
Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) Rank: S Range: - Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: x2 High. A space-time jutsu like Kuchiyose, the user first needs to mark their final destination with a shiki (rite). Once marked, the user can then activate the jutsu, allowing them instant teleportation to the chosen mark. No matter where the opponent goes, the Flying Thuder God can simply travel to the mark and end them. And if they need to transport something, all they need to do is touch that item and spread their Hiraishin chakra across it.
Note: The 'warp' used to teleport the user is instantaneous. There is no distance that the user cannot cross. So long as there is a seal, the user can simply travel to it. It should be noted that anyone that the user is touching, during the time of the warp, is teleported as well.

The journey from Kirigakure to Konohagakure had been, surprisingly, long and arduous considering the physical condition Chae's body was suddenly thrust into. With vision one of his two eyes reduced to 50% due to a failed surgery and a single left arm missing from the shoulder, it went without saying that despite being able to perform jutsu universally with a single hand, his overall effectiveness as a shinobi diminished severely.
Through Akira's own mouth (additionally to others) Chae heard of the Hokage's skills as a medical shinobi, one that had been said through the mouths of many to have exceeded Kirigakure's own ace medic - Hotaru.
Coupled with having received a single, Byakugan eye within a pre-purchased preservation pod, Chae felt obligated to seek out this master Medic and put her skills to the test. Truth be told, he hoped more than anything that she could pull it off successfully.
"So this is Konoha eh, can't say that I'm impressed, nor unimpressed. "
Nevertheless, without his steel face mask, his facial features had been open and in plain view for the world to see, a sign that he hadn't discreetly held any ulterior motives. Before long, he managed to approach the gates, loose Kirigakure headband in hand, he held it up for patrol to view.
"My name is Chae Yoon Kushinada Shinobi of Kirigakure, a surname that the Hokage should hold in high esteem. I wish to request an audience with her immediately!"
The ANBU's body language was easy to read. He wasn't too keen on the fact that some one armed, dead beat eyed man came strolling up to the gates like he was some sort of hallowed figure. Showing a Kiri headband was nice, but how could he be sure that it was the truth? One armed or not he could have lost that arm killing a Mist shinobi and was going to use the headband to do the same within Konoha.
He wasn't having it.
"State your purpose. I'll relay the message to the Hokage once I get that. She is a busy woman after all. I don't care if you pull the Mizukage's last name out of your ass or not."
Clearly Kushinada was a known last name. Besides the fact that Akira was the Mizukage, he was also a residence of Konohagakure no Sato in the past. He even slaughtered half the Hyuuga in the compound and laid waste to the area in order to have a woman there be freed from the curse mark put upon her forehead. It was almost noble that his Hokage would be involved with a man like that. Either that or the ultimate slap in the face to her family.
Regardless, as he spoke and stared down the man before him, a second ANBU had been relaying the message to an unknown receiver the entire time--most likely a third ANBU stationed at the Hokage Residence. However it seemed quite clear that they weren't going to budge on just word alone. Alliance or not, it was good to see that the Hokage was still strict and protected her people. That is until there was some rather angry, and feminine, yelling coming from the receiver on the second ANBU, who was wincing the entire time until he threw the comm down to the ground. "Let him through."
There was a silence before the second ANBU operative shrugged, rubbing the side of his head. "Apparently the message was relayed regardless and she's not too happy that we're interrogating someone with the last name Kushinada. She said, and I quote-- "If he is an impostor I'll rip all of his other limbs off and hang them out front the Gates myself---let him in!"
Again there was silence.
"The Residence is straight ahead, stay on the main street...."
OOC: Make a new thread, don't post in the Residence. Kohana will just meet Chae halfway there on the streets~
