[/justify]Stepping onto the snow, Axcel couldn’t help but think of his homeland. The cold air, the snowy environment, and the harsh, unrelenting weather all reminded him of Yuki no Kuni. With his hands resting in his pockets, Axcel walked along a beaten, snow covered path. Though he enjoyed the scenery, as desolate as it was, he couldn’t remain there. As much as it reminded him of Yuki no Kuni, the Land of Iron was indeed not his home—it was the home of the Samurai. That wasn’t the reason he needed to leave though. . .
Although the shinobi world had just exited the most destructive war it had ever endured and appeared to be in a peaceful state, it was anything but peaceful. Axcel briefly recalled his last conversation with Hiromasa, the then Mizukage of Mizu no Kuni. He spoke of war—war with Konoha, and there was nothing Axcel could say to convince him to do otherwise. There were other issues as well, such as nuke-nin who defected during the war trying to take advantage of the world in it’s weakened state. Then there were those who had been slowly playing there card, having made moves since long before the war had even started. . .
Axcel shook his head, dismissing such thoughts from his mind. He needed to leave Iron as soon as possible. His destination? Back to Mizu no Kuni. With the amount of ryo he had acquired, perhaps he would find more information on the person he had been looking for during his last visit—Asato. Axcel had been all out of leads when he left Mizu on Kuni, since all his previous leads had pointed to Mizugakure. Yet when he arrived and even stayed in the village for roughly a week, nothing turned up. Nothing at all. Still, if he were to go back and perhaps spend a bit of coin on some of the more stingy (but informative) characters in the slums of Mizu, maybe he would find the information he needed.
Eventually the Rokudaime’s travels led him to a ferryboat. When he arrived, he immediately took refuge in the small cabin inside the boat. Reflecting back on his trip in Iron, he couldn’t help but think of his battle with the Samurai. He had heard they were strong foes, but he hadn’t expected projectiles of chakra to be emitted from their blade. Then there was Blanche—easily one of the most cheerful people Axcel had met in a long while. At least, cheerful was what Axcel had mistakened her crazy demeanor to be.
As time would pass, so would Axcel’s journey, and eventually he would arrive in his destination at Mizu on Kuni. Stepping off of the ferry, he couldn’t shake this ominous feeling that seemed to linger around him as he began his trek into the country of water. . .
