The Earth Cathedral

A temple found in the outskirts of Tsuchi no Kuni, far away from Iwagakure. One of the so many minor temples dedicated towards the mother earth, specifially, the soil and fertility it represents. As well as most temples located in the Land of Earth, the expertise of Doton masters allowed for such a perfect arquitecture to be reached within the walls of this buildings, and unlike Tsuchi no Teru, which is the main cathedral of every single temple designed towards the dedication and admiration of Earth, only women are allowed to stay within its walls.

The finest pieces of rocks shall be used and molded in such a manner to give the place a certain type of cleanse. Due to the natural enviroment, having a garden in Tsuchi no Kuni could only be ontained by those with the economic capabilities to afford it, such as the Iwagakure, Tsuchi no Teru, or probably a certain building within the capital city of the Land of Earth, though not for such a small cathedral. Instead, the building consisted on a quite large hall, which floor was built from what seemed to be at simple sight sqaures of a fine white rock, the hall resembled quite a large rectangle of several meters both long and width. Such outside part was built beneath a rock shaped in the form of a triangle to protect the ones standing on it from the sun itself. Alonside and standing on the edges, being around a meter of distance from each other, countless pilar could be found used as a support for the already mentioned roof.

Looking it from the outside, one could see a certain type of mark on top of the roof, placed on the front part of it, specifically where the triangle has its upper arist. Such arquitecture allowed people to stay for long periods of time in the ouside part of the buildings without having sunburns nor any other consequence due to the prolonged exposure to the sun or the extreme weather in Tsuchi no Kuni.

On the inside, the Cathedral, despite not being as big as the Tsuchi no Teru, it contained countless furniture resembling their divinities. Among them, there was a certain dinivity, that unlike other temples, it was the supreme one on this Cathedral, a lizard like creation holding a certain book of ancient writtings. The creature had a certain large hat that was about the size of the creature, yet not huge, due to the fact that the creature itself was small. About a meter or meter and a half at most. With and golden were the representative colours of the divinity, certainly the representation of Justice according to their own beliefs.

The Cathedral was formed with two levels, on level one the praying room was found, which was the primary and central room found at the very center of it, such a large place enough to contain every single believer within while the ceremonies took place. On the side a few offices could be found, along with a central one, the Priestess office, where official matters were attended.

Finally, on the top floor the bedroom of the nuns were found, though not that many. As the smallest Cathedral, it was as well not known amonst people, in fact, only those that ocassionally got lost in the endless sightseen of Tsuchi no Kuni ended up there, along with some other shinobi of Iwagakure on their way back home.

For the people living in there, aside from the Priestess that acts as the main protagonist of such buildings, there were a few nuns to serve a coprotagonist, that as well maintained the place in order, though despite the lack of activity, it was not a hard work at all.

A normal day. The sun, as always, being a threat to those not adept to withstand such extreme weather, within the temple three nuns were seen to be cleaning the place, such as another normal day. Within moments, a fourth female shall appear, this last one appeared not wearing the same robes as the first three nuns, the normal attire worse by them which consisted on a large white dress, quite old fashioned along with a certain black vest made of silk, resembling some sort of servant, which according to their beliefs, it was to remember the nuns the poorness and hungry of the entire world. Yet, the priestess, wore a complete different, and probably opposite attire. The lady would appear wearing a long white dress though accompanied with jewels of different sorts, aminly gold, necklace, bracelets, rings, earrings, and even a tiara, along side with a rod that more than aiding the woman to walk was used as a furniture.

Noticing this, the three nuns shall turn to see the priestess and the closest to her shall approach, vowing towards her as a signal of respect began to speak.

"Lady Natasha, is there something wrong?"

The woman asked. The priestess came out of the temple just a few times in a while, and only for an important matter, something that barely happened in there. Raising her right hand as a sign that the nun could stand up, the voice of the leader would be heard.

"She is coming..."

Ending such statement would make the three women to stand up and quickly approach the lady as a sign of surprise, it seemed that a visitor was expected, yet, at any point a message was delivered towards the temple advertising some sort of visit. Among undeciphrable congetures, the three of them expressed their surprise and their willing to respond their answers.

With a single smile, the priestess shall place her left hand upon her lips, causing the trio to keep calm and remain silent. Stteping in front, the leader shall step outside the comfort of the building and allow the sun to touch her silk, act that was copied by the three servants, leaving the four of them standing in the middle of the nothing, about ten meters outside the temple, looking at the distance awaiting for the arrival of something.

Serval minutes shall pass and nothing but tumbleweeds would pass by, yet none of them would change their posture nor make a gesture of boredom. They knew, that if the priestess said a visitor would come, it would come, and unlike the normal visitors they tend to have, this one seemed to be quite a familiar one, and expected by noticing the reaction of every single member of the congregation. Soon, at the distance, a silhoute could be seen, some sort of shadow resembling a human body, camouflaged by the giant curtain of dust that covered the area, making it impossible for the normal eye to see through it, leaving them to nothing but the expectation. As for the nuns, they had few to none skills, making them quite vulnerable to the suspense, but as for the priestess, she had certain skills that sllowed to see her through the curtain made of dust, which made her lift her batton and aim at the distance to where the silhoutte was seen.

"She has arrived"

Despite not being able to see, the nuns knew even before their leader to speak that the visitor had arrived, it was quite impossible for another being appeared at the very same day and the very same hour as other, so the statement only confirmed their thoughts. With each second made the shadow began to take shape, soon, the amorphic sight would take shape as the silhoutte of a female.

The uniform worn by the visitor was one that made it impossible for anyone to see beneath her large robes, The large white clothes worn by the visitor were so similar to the priestess yet some differences could be found. It was just a simplified version of the leader's outfit, such as a second in command.

With tears in their eyes, all the four ladies awaited for the figure to get closer, and once there, they all, including the pristess shall vow in front of the female that just arrived, certainly implying the importance of her visit. A single statement from the priestess would be made before the now five females would proceed on entering the Cathedral.

"Welcome back"

Slowly, would the expected visitor lift her head and allow her face to be clearly seen by the four other women, silverish to greenish hair would perfectly contrast with the scarlet eyes of the pale woman, who, without an expression on her face would proceed to walk using her own batton as a support, though there was no need for it but mere drama.

No more words were said nor heard until the four women entered the atrium beneath them. Once inside the just arrived woman shall proceed and after as soon as the priestess would grant her permission to ener the main office, as this happened the three nuns shall remain outside the place and take a posture on their knees beginning to pray towards a giant statue of Shamash, the divinity of Justice they adored. Among the mutters from their prays some words were capable to be distinguished.

"Justice has finally came upon us"

"Shall the will of Shamash illuminate our hope"

And some other words of thankful due to the presence of the just arrived woman. Back to the office, the priestess shall sit on a chair behind the only desk found at the very center of the room. Said room consisted on a very simplistic one, yet effective, no more things than a few papers on the desk and some statues of the same creature like lizard the nuns prayed at before.

Immediatly as soon as the priestess shall sit, the visitor would do the same and let the cape disocver her head, allowing her entire face to be completely seen by the woman.

"As written in the Manyoushi, I have came back"

The lady stated. The Manyoushi was the sacred book held by Shamash, the lizard like divinity creature that the temple was designated for. Leaning towards the desk, staring at the lady in front, the priestess whose name was Natasha spoke.

"Certainly Rosario, you have come back after so many years."

According to the Manyoushi, a female baby shall be granted to the temple to be raised and upon the apparition of others her vanish would be inminent, who at a later age the once child, prodigy of the temple would come back looking for answers, a second time shall come for acknowledgement, and finally, a third and final time shall the lady return more powerful than even in order to stablish a new order and claim the throne of the Cathedral.

"So, I am asuming you already know why I am here"

The woman named Rosario, who actually was a kunoichi of Iwagakure exclaimed. As the sentence was made, a book was taken from beneath the desk and put on top of the desk, quite a dense and big book, and by its appearance, quite old as well. Despite the time passed, the book retained its pure white colous of the pages, along with a golden coberture mixed with a brown color, engraved with golden letters of some sort of language, unknown by the rest of the world but the congregation and printed with a white flower on the front, it was the Manyoushi.

Nodding towards the kunoichi, she shall push the heavy book towards the kunoichi and handle it to her, just for then make another statement following the conversation.

"Do you remember the first time you came here?"

This question was made with a certain type of emotion on the voice, breaking it and some drops falling down from the priestess eyes, both women would remain silent until the scarlet eyed woman would speak and broke the silence in an attempt to remember such day.

"Help!"

A man screamed by entering the outside part of the Cathedral, which if it were a normal situation, any, if not the three nuns shall come out and aid the man, who judged by its aspect, it certainly needed help, not only medical but his appearance allowed the witnesses to see that the man had not eaten in serveral days now. The man had several cuts all over his body, specifically his right arm was bleeding unstoppable, wearing an old and rotten shinobi outfit, the man shall proceed on making his way towards the entrance, leaving a trace of blood behind with every step made.

Hardly pushing the doors of the temple with all the remaining strenght and letting his own weight to push it and open it, the man would expect for aid to immediatly came as soon as he would enter, yet, he was quite away from reality.

A massive crowd was found within the interior of the temple, every single person in there but the nuns and the priestess had several cuts, burns, maimed limbs, or some sort of of damage upon themselves.And just as the arrived guest, every single one of them was wearing a shinobi outfit, some of them with headbands, and some others without. However, by surprising it may look, the headbands wore were quite diverse going from kumogakure, iwagakure, konohagakure or any other of the big nations, up to those minor nations with ninja villages.

That gathering was only result of a massacre, an aftermath, though such propotions were incapable to be imagined but only to be seen. The dead of severals and suffering of most shall only be the overcome of what humans call WAR. It was the second shinobi war, at the very end of it. Destruction has been made up to half its major propotions, though the worst was about to come within the next couple of days.

"Sophitia, Anastasia, Lucinda, hurry up!"

This scream was made by a younger version of the today priestess Natasha, certainly, years back to the second shinobi war. The four ladies going from one side to another with bandages, alcohol, pills, and some other medical stuff needed to aid them all.

Among the hurry, Sophitia, one of the nuns began to mutter to herself as she aided a man to heal his wounds and stop the constant bleeding coming out of his leg.

"How can a single man cause such disaster?"

However, seconds later, a response would came without being asked from a fifth woman of the congregation, who by her looks seemed to have not recieved any sort of damage nor counterpart of the battle, that despite being a kunoichi of a hidden village.

"Impossible Sophitia... Kouketsu cannot do such damage all by himself, certainly he has his own slaves to do the dirty job for him"

The lady stated, who once she would came out of one of the rooms her appearance would resemble that of Rosario, the kunoichi of Iwagakure, who unlike the other nuns or the priestess herself, did nothing to aid others, she merely passed by from one point to another holding a book with both hands and reading it while passing by. On her way to the room located on the opposite side of the Cathedral, the kunoichi would came into the man that previously had entered the building, who, by screaming would claim for help, however, no aid from her from the woman but a single cold statement.

"The one you are looking for is she"

Ended while aiming at Sophitia, the nun she just passed by. Without emotion at all, the kunoichi shall continue her way, showing everyone on the room her cold and uninterested attitude towards others.

Moments would pass and a sound would be heard, the man was in an emergency of blood loss, and without the help he shall died at the very entrance of the atrium, making his last image to be seen was the giant statue of Shamash, the divinity of Justice, as some sort of punishment for his acts.

After such event, the door of the library where Rosario was found opened, pushed powerfully by a lady, kunoichi of other village, kumogakure to be precise, short black hair and brown skin, quite musuclar for her thin complexion, who unlike the Iwagakure kunoichi was just thin but athletic.

"Why didn't you help him!! You bitch!"

The kumo kunoichi yelled, catching everyone's attention. Rosario's action had offended so many, not only those with an aligment similar to the now dead man, but others as well, incapable to comprehend the illusionist's actions.

With a slow turn, the silver haired lady shall stare at the woman's face, specifically her brown eyes and speak with her cold voice.

"I am not here to aid others"

And with that statement she would turn back to the bookshelf and continue the search of a certain book. In a rampage, the kumo kunoichi shall run straught forward towards the scarlet eyed one, who at this point, eyesight had changed, her eyes, the iris had changed, the red of her eyes got tainted with some black dots that quickly spinned around while inside the iris. A simple eye contact would suffice for the attacker to cease her movements and go back to her sit.

"I believe I was clear enough"

She would mutter to herself while getting back to her own business. Such lack of emotion, which was by far a characteristic of the lady, also made her to not be interrupted once again while she was in the temple aside from the nuns and Natasha herself.

Unlike others, the kunoichi got information from witnesses of the war, and even the so sacred Manyoushi book of the Cathedral, which was supposed to have prophetic writting on it, yet impossible to be written when the time is not needed, meaning that the Manyoushi will only be able to be used as a prophetic tool only until after the event have passed, as some sort of recording book.

According to the legend, those that attemp to read the book contains outside the time it should, they would be incapacitated to read it, finding blank pages all over the rest of the book, as if nothing have passed. Though, such theory has not been tested due to the strong beliefs the nuns, Rosario and Natasha herself had over Shamash and the Menyoushi itself, however, every single part of the book that they have read certainly already passed.

From the library, the kunoichi of Iwagakure shall stare at a book found at the very highest part of the bookshelf, slowly using a ladder, the lady shall take the book found in there and take it with her back to her bedroom, passing through the entire temple and the maimed people found all around it.

Back to her place, sitting on the desk found and the distance, the one that allowed the light to pass through the window to aid her on the reading the kunoichi shall place the book.

This book was quite similar to another Manyoushi one given to her, yet different in colour, the reason was simple, the Manyoushi was not a single, but a series of books, each of them containing different themes all around the shinobi and non shinobi world.

Within this book, the kunoichi shall find history written of the recent events, the causes and consequences of the second shinobi war. Rapidly, passing her eyes through the pages of the book the kunoichi shall find several words, names, places, people, items, events and dates of events that have passed during the current days.

A certain Kouketsu guy commiting an assasnation towards another person, whose identity was still a mystery up to that part of the book. Soon after, the kunoichi would came to the part of the past Chuunin Exams, how the shinobis allied to the mist intterupted them and started an attack towards everyone all around, however, actions being controlled by the very same person named before, Kouketsu.

The following chapter had information about a certain encounter between two unnamed kages and a member of an unknown family, as well as the guests that randomly appeared in there contributing with their activity in such happening, and how the unnamed family member had an encounter with another unknown kage of an unnamed village.

True, the information obtained in the Manyoushi was not clear, yet more than sufficent to have a general view of the aspects that happened to made this war to happen. Soon after, on a subsequent chapter, the kunoichi found out that the so named Kouketsu was also a member of the Uchiha family, just like her, and that he was, at some point in history, leader and Mizukage, a survivor of the very first war.

According to the sacred writtings, the man had lied to his own country to start war due to a personal conflict with a certain Jounin. But movement ceased due to the man's dissapearing, finally, a trained shinobi by Kouketsu himself would take his place as shinobi of Mizugakure. Though, in a random change of destiny, the Mizukage decided to start an attack towards Sunagakure without apparent motives.

"Kouketsu Uchiha"

The lady muttered to herself, how was it possible for a single man to develop such a master plan, was his only desire to create chaos among others? Was there a hidden motive for so many attacks? Certainly, but what was it. So many questions and just a few answers. Names appeared yet still hidden in the fog of mystery, how could the kunoichi solver this puzzle if with every single piece that appeared another two spaces appeared.

And so, the reading shall stop. The kunoichi had no more right to proceed with the reading or else her own beliefs shall be broken apart. Despite not having emotional links with people, she had such a rigid sense of justice, one that should not be disobeyed at any point. In this case, according to the wrttings, Shamash himself allowed the kunoichi to read the book up to a certain point to know about the happenings though just parts of it, a quite fair pact just for believing on that divinity.

Soon, before continuing with the conversation of her own past, Rosario was stopped by Natasha herself, in an abrupt way, she would hold her right hand she would speak interrupting her speech.

"Actually Rosario, that was the second time... I mean, the first, the very FIRST time you came"

Refering to the day the child was abandoned and given to Natasha back in the past, several years ago, back when Natasha was still a nun of the Cathedral, back when the story started.

A smile and a nod shall came in response to the statements. Natasha was about to talk about the kunoichi's past, yet it was not important, at least not now. The illusionist has come in order to acknolewledge the previous happenings, the ones concerning everyone and not only her. The so called Kouketsu Uchiha, the relation between him and Mizu no Kuni, and others involved in the war.

Standing up, the priestess shall then leave the silver haired woman alone inside the room and with the Manyoushi in hand, this time, she will be able to fill in the holes she could not get back in time. Passing her pale fingers through the pages of the golden book the lady soon will get to the page she stopped her reading back in the past, by when the war itself came into explosion.

"Are you ok?"

A man wearing a shinobi suit asked a woman laying on the ground, awake but weak, as if they have been victim of an attack. Quickly, the man shall aid the lady to stand up and continue their way up to the nothingness, at that moment, the headbands that were proudly wore could be easily seen by anyone, they were konohagakure shinobis. Yet, they were not alone, another couple would be chasing them, however, this time not wearing the same headband not having the same allingment, they were sunagakure shinobis.

"There you are bastards!"

One of the kumo shinobis yelled at the corneded duo by the time he hurled a kunai with a exploding tag attached to it, at the same time, a skirmish gesture from the female of the land of sand would be made as a chain of handseals was created. Soon, the earth beneath the leaf ninjas to soften and entrap their lower limbs, making them perfect targets for the explosive kunai.

"Not so fast!"

A male's voice was heard quite close from the place, what seemed to be a iwagakure shinobi, along with other two, a squad that just appeared in the place. As soon as the voice was heard another kunai shall clash with the one previously hurled preventing it to reach its target. It was Iwagakure shinobis aiding those of konoha.

By the reading Rosario became to see that Iwagakure had allied with Konohagakure at some point, and making enemies of Sunagakure, though, such conclutions will soon vanish by continuing the reading.

What started as a simple conflict between two villages ended up envolving everyone around, the five great nations and the lower ones as well. Certainly, an event to be considered as war. With the times passed and as the pages of the Manyoushi were devoured, the kunoichi shall soon discover that Iwagakure was on both sides and at the same time on neither side, however, such happenings seemed to be quite far from her age, during the very first war, something she could not be part of even if desired.

Ending this chapter, the lady shall have finished her puzzle of the first war, at least the one containing general terms, of course there was still something iffy, who started, why it was started, what benefits did people get from everything, yet that was something that not even the Manyoushi could tell her.

Wondering around the room, the kunoichi shall then take a slight break and wonder about the events of that time, however, no thought would lead her to a certain answer. After several minutes, shall the lady make up with her mind and keep on with the Manyoushi reading, this time, the chapter to be read was the second shinobi war.

Bakudon Gai. The capital of the Land of Earth, a place known to be made enterily of rock and iron, quite a defensive city than more than a trading place it resembles a fortress, at least in appearance, though the place could not withstand the events that soon will came. As a neutral village Iwagakure no Sato had no real reasons to attack nor to be attacked, yet, due to its position towards others and the event to be ocurred at that time, the whole Land shall suffer as well.

According to the Manyoushi an event of great magnitudes was being held, that event, the Chuunin Exams, however, behind such celebration an evil plan was being held. Using the Exams as a curtain and distractions for other, the attack shall erupt within the walls of the Iron City. One designed to be the best protection from an external attack, though, not having the same faith against an internal one.

Being inside, the enemies were capable to strike the most vital points of the place within minutes, without the need to make an additional distraction. Soon, one by one the walls of the city shall began to fall, however, heroes will emerge as soon as the walls were destroyed. Shinobis from all the villages, along with those of Iwagakure would take arms against the agressors, though the most important facts would be the appearance and dissapearance of the Shodaime Tsuchikage, Kikkawa.

A man said to be of the elite shinobis of the era, not only living, but death as well, his skills and techniques were so fabled yet so forbidden that few have witnessed him in action and lived to tell. However, by that time, the man that once led Iwagakure no Sato, vanished, his whereabouts up to this day are still a mystery, yet, everyone thinks that his survival after the massacre was possible. But then, where could the man be?

Continuing to the following page of the Manyoushi, the scarlet eyed woman shall notice the blank pages, nothing more to get from the book, yet the information adquired was of importance, finally, the lady knew the reasons, the happenings and the effects of the war, what happened and who caused, more importantly, names would came onto her knowledge, specially, the so named Kouketsu Uchiha.

With nothing more to stay in the place the kunoichi shall depart towards Iwagakure no Sato, Manyoushi in hand she would slowly turn to see Natasha who would be awaiting for her at the entrance, a simple nod shall inform her that she had finished her visit for now, but that soon, she will be back. Meanwhile, the Manyoushi shall remain with the kunoichi until the time to return would come, in case any other information could be adquired from it.

"Hoping for my next visit to be soon"

Nodding back, Natasha, the priestess of the Cathedral of Earth shall return to the inside part of the temple as the Iwagakure Chuunin shall vanish from plain sight, as if such visit had never ocurred.

"Are you ok?"

She asked, a quite beautiful and young woman wearing some sort of nun's habit, her eyes were deep green and her blond hair ended up to the middle of her back, unlike the present time, this person who responded by the name of Natasha, was only a simple nun protecting the temple, and not the priestess of the Cathedral, yet, soon it would change. The lady has been training in order to become the following leader of the congregation.

Standing around a meter and sixty-eight meters the lady asked a young little girl sitting in the middle of the cathedral, the place was empty except for the two females in there. The young girl on the other side was quite different from Natasha. Long hair and scarlet eyes, along with a certain pale skin and a cold expression upon her face, her name, Rosario, a future kunoichi of Iwagakure, yet still to discover such faith.

The reason of the questino was simple, the young girl seemed to be bleeding from her index finger, and by the looks it seemed to be an accident, yet it was not. By nodding silently, the young female shall place both of her palms above a bok and close her eyes, followed by a certain manner of meditation, though at simple look it seemed as if the child would be just playing around.

"Aren't you a little bit young for that?"

The nineteen of so year old lady would ask to the kid, though no answer would came. By noticing the book found under the child's palms immediatly the nun would notice the happenings around. The scarlet eyed kid would attempt to perform one of the secret arts of the Cathedral, yet, something Natasha herself could not even perfectly do.

However, the silver haired child will prove her to be wrong. Within instants the long hair of the child would began to rise, slowly, as if some sort of strange force would be coming out of her, though such event will soon fade. Immediatly, after a few seconds, the kid's hair shall go down naturally, as if nothing would ever happen.

"I told you, you are quite young for it"

Natasha exclaimed, though behind such expression envy layed. She knew, that since the moment that new kid came onto the congregation her spot was in danger, her presence was to substitute her own, making her useless and leaving herself and just another nun for the rest of her life, something she could just not allow. She has been working so hard for so long that she could not just let a little kid of crush all her dreams, though destiny had something prepared for both of them, whether it be individually or as a team, soon, their faith shall change, just not yet.

"Maybe when you are like ten I might let you witness how it works"

Natasha would exclaim and end with a smile followed by a laugh, though something Rosario herself would not take into consideration and would continue her training and the silhoutte of the blond female would vanish from scene, leaving herself once again alone to continue with her own training.

Ten days would pass since that moment and nothing would change that much. Natasha being studying to become the following priestess was the only important thing that seemed to be happening around, though only to the foreigners, after all, the priestess herself, which at that time was a woman of an advanced age named Sophitia seemed to have assigned Natasha some sort of quest, as a prove to see if she was worth the priestess spot.

"In order to prove your knowledge you should aid the kid on her task"

Certainly, a very bad joke, if it was, though it was not. Sophitia knew the relationship was kind of distant and frigid among Rosario and Natasha herself, making it hard for them to get along and to continue with the trainings everyone had for them, whether it be the priestess Sophitia herself or any other one of the nuns.

"Is it for real?"

She would exclaim expressing a certain type of surprise during her question. She knew that Sophitia knew the relationship between them and so the unlikeness she had towards the child, and soon she would realize. That was the main reason of the task. However, soon she realized that such task had nothing to do with the priestess spot at all, it had to do with the priestess wanting them to get along, or at least that was what she thought at first.

With papers in hand, Natasha first asigment wass to aid Rosario to control her own spiritual energy, or what others may call, chakra.

"So kid, let's make this easy and quick, would you?"

The teenager would exclaim at the kid, who seemed to be sharing the very same attitude towards the situation as her, after all, Rosario was not the type of girl to socialize with others, specially with those who have showed herself some sort of disgusting attitude towards her. The first thing to do was to go to the basement and in there get things ready.

Some may think that how was it possible for woman of such a congregation, nuns and priestess to have sort of items and specially the knowledge they had towards chakra, though they did not see the spiritual energy as chakra but as that, as spritual energy, used to aid them in her day to day labors which consisted on aiding and healing the wounded, as well as the restoration and investigatio nof the forbidden arts, which was the primary reason of the congregation though hidden to the public.

"You just get the needed books as I end with the arrangment in here"

The trainee woman shall said to Rosario, who as part of the congregation and liviing within the walls of the Cathedral she knew exactly what kind of books the lady was talking about without the need of pronouncing its title.

Three books to be precise would be brought by the kid. Each of them quite similar to each other yet different in colors, sharing part of the title with the word "Manyoushi" written in some sort of language, only capable to be read by those with knowledge of such extinct language, in this case, anyone within the congregation, which aside from having the day by day halping others issue they had their own sort of school.

Yet nothing spectacular nor expected, with the only teachers found in there would be the nuns and Sophitia, the priestess herself, the place could not afford to have a big number of students, in fact, it barely had a few each years. In this particular case, the most recent student to enter the Cathedral was Rosario, and the other one that already graduated from it was Natasha.

The school teachings were simple yet effective. Aside from the normal knowledge to impart to the students like reading, math, and other basic classes they should have, an additional part of asignatures were given, this dealing more with the spiritual energy, quite like a shinobi academy of a hidden village, though not as big nor in depth onto the chakra manipulation and use of ninjutsu and physical arts. It dealed more with the manipulation of certain secret and forgotten arts.

Among those arts the knowledge of the legendary relics was adquired, weapons, items and armors said to have certain special properites, though none of them being specifically investigated due to the lack of knowledge the world had about them, after all, those items were legendary and rare, the most known ones were so fabled that only one of them existed, the legendary swords of the mist.

As well, some other type of knowledge was adquired. The general idea of certain secret techniques capable to play with the law of nature themselves, teleport techniques, the most advanced space-time techniques to have knowledge of, though only spoken of, as the relics, nothing to be able to go in depth. As well as some other techniques such as dead revival and body manipulation and creation, certainly, something to be investigated in practice and not just theory.

What the temple relied more on was in the art of Fuuinjutsu, or well known as sealing techniques, one that did not require the user to be a well trained shinobi, but being gifted and trained in the manipulation of chakra or spiritual energy, just like the teachings of the temple, certainly, something the young kid attempted to perform some days back, the day Natasha spoke to her.

However, before Rosario would be able to perform such skills she needed to get well used to her own chakra, or as the nuns called it, spiritual energy, she needed to be able to manipulate it and control it in such a way that there will be no more need for her to close her eyes, she needed to become a master in the art of chakra control before going onto the advanced matter of the teaching, yet, she was still young, she was just beginning her teachings.

"Well, let's start"

The teenager excalimed. By opening the very first book on a page where a certain black circle was drawn she would place her hands above it, with the palm extended and await for the moment Rosario would do the same, just instead, placing her palms above Natasha's. Once done, some reading would commence, yet the two of them already knew what was writte on those pages.

The first pages dealed with the basics of chakra manipulation and how a person might be able to manipulate it in a certain way or another, though, theere were special cases where a person was incapable to mold the spiritual energy stored within their own being due to genetics, though certianly, this was not the little kid's case since Natasha herself witnessed about ten days or so back she indeed, could do it.

"You just have to feel my energy"

The blond haired female said, soon, her chakra shall be transfered by using the circle drawn beneath they to aid the chakra to go fluently though the place, allowing it to concentrate in a single part instead to get dispersed all among the place.

"Now, try to control it, do not let it go beyond the limits"

She would end, specifically changing the tone of her voice by the time the word limits and beyond would be pronounced, since that was the meaning of the training, to maintain it at a certain point, to control it.

With a nod, the scarlet eyed kunoichi shall then begin to create the bound between the two females, and so not only her chakra but her feelings and thoughts became as one. Allowing each other to understand the feelings of the other.

As for Natasha, she had transformed the Cathedral her own life, there was nothing else for her in there, nor outside the Cathedral from the priestess spot, and as for Rosario, she just did not have another place to go, she was an orphan, so certainly no home to go back. Though, this history was similar to both females, in where none of them had a place nor parents to go, this aside from Sophitia, the current priestess.

That was the moment they realized, that, at some point, and in some twisted manner, they were like sisters, and so, they needed to aid each other. Ending immediatly the bound, Natasha would stand up and leaving, filled with fury of how the young kid was capable to read her mind and feelings, though it happened the very same way around.

Hours shall pass and the kid would remain in there, attempting to finish the training, this until Natasha herself would return. Slowly entering, she would notice the hard work of Rosario, and by thinking of the happenings she would lend her some help, this time, changing her own way to see the life, specially, her attitude towards the scarlet eyed kid.

"Allow me"

She would express, though still with some sort of ryalty on her tone, her proud, though this time acting it, attempting to not look weak towards the kid nor look so rude, and that moment, was the very first time Natasha would see Rosario smile.

Days of hard training but finally the training was over. Rosario was capable to mold her own chakra into her own way without the need to get aid from anyone else, true, it may not be the expertise that she had the current day, though it was the beginning, she may now be able to train and go deeper onto her own investigations. However, that day was the very first visit of several ones coming from the Ninja Academy in Iwagakure.

Days would pass and a man would appear at the Cathedral, sensing some sort of unusual chakra hidden among the Cathedral, as well known by the Tsuchikage, every single Cathedral and Temple located in the Land of Earth were not normal ones, aside from having a single divinity the nuns and monks located on every single one of them had the ideal to investigate and gather the lost knowledge that has been forbidden among the years.

Certainly, this was a strange visit. If the shinobis already knew that the nuns and the ones involved within the Cathedral, why would they be here with the excuse that they have sensed an unusual spiritual energy, that was nonesense in the eyes of the nuns and the priestess, yet soon they will get the answer.

That day, the shinobi only passed by to check what was the happenings in there, though the man was not able to come up with nothing he would leave the place and head towards Iwagakure no Sato, though the investigation shall not end in there.

"What could it be?"

Natasha asked to Sophitia, the priestess of the place, though no answer would came but a single sight towards the little kid among them. Immediatly a reunion shall be called upon the six females living on the place, this in order to make their own plans and talk about the situation it just had happened.

"Just as expected"

Sophitia would say, then she would proceed on calling Rosario and get in front, for then continue with the explanation of why that individual had appeared at the Cathedral.

"The man is looking for Rosario's eyes"

The old female would exclaim, for then, proceed on the explanation of the why and the kekkai genkai Rosario had within her own veins, just by then, Natasha and Rosario began to get along and it seemed they were about to be split, yet nothing was certain.

"Some time may pass before they will come for her, though sooner or later they weill, so, we better get ready"

Finally added, as if the nuns and priestess would become some sort of army, attempting to protect of their own, and Natasha as well, who had began to care about the little and young girl as her own sister, who now, was in danger to become a killing machine, one of the worst things to become in the eyes of the congregation. No more time to waste, the females needed to make a plan and act accordingly to it, soon, they shall be ready for the following visit.

"Do you think they will be back soon?"

The young Rosario asked to the still not priestess of the Cathdreal. Slowly, turning to see the scarlet eyed child, the blond female shall then proceed on placing her hand over the girl's head and speak.

"It doesn't matter... As long as you remember who you are"

She would state, and despite Rosario herself was a cold and frigid person without any intention to show emotions, she still had a certain humanity within herself. That humanity that will be with her during the rest of her life.

As a small Cathedral in Tsuchi no Kuni, they had no defensive nor offensive skills, specially, they could not go against a hidden village, they knew that sooner or later they will come for her, yet they will be prepared. Without an intention to go rebel against them, the whole congregation that, honestly, was small and only consisted on a few females would began to focus their attentions on the way to raise Rosario.

Meaning, that any other training or learning she may have in there would be put on a secondary plane, focusing on her mind and way to understand life as the congregation did. For this, a whole new secret would be revealed to her by the females. Something that could only be showed to her by when she would turn sixteen, yet, they knew that they did not have that much time.

Gathering them all in a secret meeting in the basement of the Cathdral, they all would reunite around a certain statue of Shamash, the deity, the lizard like monster who represented jutice and power for them. However, this time, they would go beyond a simple statue.

"Here we are, the secret of our congregation shall be revelaed to you shortly..."

Natasha would speak to the silver haired woman as the priestess and the three nuns would commence some sort of ritual, one including a certian seal being written on the floor and the priestess forming some sort of hand movments, two particularities that later on her life would come gain sense and a meaning.

Within seconds, a smoke curtain shall appear on the place coming from the ground and rising due to its physical properties, soon, the curtain shall vanish and a seventh being would appear on the room.

"That is out secret"

Natasha would point at the being appeared at the center of the circle, whose figure could not be seen still due to the smoke not being fully dispersed, yet it would only need a few seconds before the complete silhoutte could be seen, before the youngest member of the congregation witnesses the secret the nuns, Natasha and even Sophitia, the priestess were talking about.
