He was to escort a kirigakure shinobi to meet with the tsuchikage to discuss an alliance. As the pair walked through the village, akio kept his hand placed on his kodachi. Luckily for Akio, if this man decided to make any brash or hostile decisions he would have the whole shinobi force of Iwa to back him up. When they were approximately one hundred meters from the gate, Akio came to a dead stop and turned to face the man. "Alright, Welcome to the great city of Iwagakure. The Tsuchikage will be meeting with us shortly. Until then we have to wait here."

He hated waiting, but this was a mission after all. So the completion of the mission made it worth the wait. Yet when the boy before him spoke that they'd now have to wait even longer just for the Tsuchikage he quickly drew his machete and stabbed it into the ground before resting his foot on it's hilt. He then began leaning on his knee, his right elbow upon it and his chin resting on his balled up fist.

"What ever you say dude, I aint ganna wait forever though, so you best pray he hurries the fuck up."

Izou dashed along the streets, never slowing down as he raced Kasui to the spot that had been stated in the mission scroll. He had never seen the Tsuchikage up close, and he considered it lucky that for the first meeting, he was already trusted enough to be given a mission.

When the silver-haired youth finally arrived at his destination, he looked around for Kasui. He didn't know if the two of them had been given the same mission, but he had assumed that. There was no way that a single Genin would be assigned to such a task. A fresh one at that. The only thing that Izou had winning for him was his loyalty to the Tsuchikage. The man had only need to call his name and he would be there, ready to do anything it takes to gain his trust.

And this mission was going to be the first step to gaining said trust. The Tsuchikage's orders were straight to the point. Short and simple. In the mission scroll, there was even a picture of the target. And it didn't take long for Izou's eyes to scan the area and zoom in.

"There he is..." Izou said, as he looked at the man from the roof he was standing on. "You better get here quick, Kasui."

Figuring that he shouldn't rush in with his knife flashing, Izou leapt off the roof and dusted himself off before walking in Lycan's direction. When he was finally in front of the Kiri-nin, ignoring the look of boredom on his face, Izou held out his hand. Unknown to the Kiri-nin, there was more to the handshake that it appeared. "Hi, my name's Izou. You're not from Iwa right?"

Iwagakure, the opulent city of perpetual rock and immense heat. Owned by made men and ruled under the iron fist of the Tsuchikage Kaguya Kira, it was an establishment for Loyal shinobi and peaceful citizens; it was a haven for its ninja and those who follow its laws without question...and a living hell to the unsightly and those who disrupts its peace.

Iwagakure was breathtaking in appearance, the ruler, Tsuchikage-sama, put everything on the line to see Iwa rebuilt and to witness its refurbished self after the swings of war found home over Tsuchi no kuni's expansive land. It was more than obvious that Kaguya Kira sacrificed a great deal of his life and time for the sake of Iwagakure. Having left the Tsuchikage's office just moments ago, aspirational footfalls struck Iwa's soils as Kasui traversed quickly across the expanse of land, slithering through the metameric crowds like snakes in grass.

His crimson robe whipped and flushed, flickering to and fro as if were a pinball, given his short height it was difficult for him to the see the gates itself seeing as how every stood on superior plateau of heights then Kasui did. Fortunately the heavenly walls of Iwagakure reached well over even the tallest of buildings.

Smooth feet guided him further towards the village gates, and soon enough if sifted from the mass of active civilians Izou spoke, "You better get here quick, Kasui.", Kasui didn't know but perhaps Izou was overwhelmed by his own excitement to realize that Kasui was beside him, but not for long. Kasui's eyes glanced over the Kirigakure Hitai-ate, and immediately hostility flared.

"I'm here to kick your ass on behalf of the Tsuchikage. just that simple"

It mattered not if the kiri ninja attempted to interrupt his speech for he was already prepared; he unveiled his cold ninjato from its dark prison, charging and channeling its trapped power.

A Kiri nin from Iwa...

That sounded like a big event, for a young and inexperienced kunoichi like Evangeline. She was asked to go to the the gates which means that she would have to do guard duty. The purple haired girl walked out of the Tsuchikage Tower and was walking towards the gate of Iwa. The girl was going to stand guard, which meant that she was going to try to and block the passage in case the Kiri nin was going to leave. She guessed that the Tsuchikage wanted to capture the guy alive. Assuming it was a guy that was the intruder. Anyone who had a mind wouldn't want to come to Iwa as an intruder. The fact that the Kage himself was not pleased with this person's presence was already signal enough that this person was not welcome on Tsuchi no Kuni soil.

This was indeed a big event!

The purple haired Genin would hasten her steps, her saber strapped to her back and her right hand close to her weapon pouch as she walked. Excited Evangeline was excited. She wondered whether the person in question was that one person she had met very very briefly that one time. If her memory served her correctly, she had met someone that claimed that he was a Kiri nin whilst she had passed the gates of Iwa and entered the country. Yes...now she remembered more clearly. The person had had that intimidating demeanor, as though he wanted to eat her. He had explicitly made it a point to say that he was a Kiri nin and that he was proposing allegiance to Iwa. Did that mean that such allegiance was not needed? Or was it someone else entirely that just happened to come from the village?

Whichever it was, she would find out soon enough.

Evangeline would then find herself within sight of the village gates. Upon seeing the guards, she would give them a curt nod and then as she was about to pass through, she would stop abruptly, looking at both of them one after another. "My name is Evangeline. I just received word from the Tsuchikage that there an intruder alert and my presence was called for. Be on your guard." Though she was sure that the guards only thought of her as a weak Genin, the girl herself didn't think so. She was going to prove to everyone in the village that she was useful even as a Genin. The guards looked at each other at first but then bowed their heads in acknowledgement. She found herself situated a little in front of them as to guard the village gates for them.

A single short sentence would give away their intentions. "THERE HE IS!" Spoken from the roof tops a silver haired individual would aim to place themselves upon the road that Lycan stood on, but by then Lycan was already ready, removing his foot from his blades' hilt and stomping quickly and harshly upon the ground he stood all in one motion. While simultaneously

[/u] Grabbing a smoke grenade and setting it off just in front of him as the silver haired and blond duo came within ten meters of his own location. Thus now he was masked in smoke and the ground was no longer just shaking, no, it was cracking before loud bellows could be heard.

Due to being a Beast Master, Lycan had called in back up by merely stomping his foot to the ground, and now five large moles had arrived, their size? Three, no four times that of an average man. And with their arrival they surrounded Lycan's last known location, with Lycan already within one of the tunnels that the moles had created, with one mole being his substitute for a horse, his machete in hand was sheathed. He was gone now, the tunnels of the moles ran deep and far, clearly done so to avoid any type of Stone shinobi's Earth Release techniques. He was gone, having left the Stone shinobi to deal with the other four massive moles, and with that Lycan was headed home with the information that the Hidden Stone was hostile. But, the thing was, he knew to never underestimate anyone, and as such he sent the mole on ahead, sending it to the Water Country with information of the Hidden Stone's hostility. If he wouldn't make it, the mole would.

So now with the mole clearly gone, Lycan began walking backwards, following the mole, but prepared to meet any threat that came his way. They'd have trouble though, meeting him in the dark with no sight, and with Lycan being trained to fight with sound alone as an ally when sight is gone.

Instantly Yasui tapped into his chakras reserves and slipped into the grooves of reality past his enemy, relinquishing himself of physical form. And as quickly as he left he flickered into existence 10 meters behind the kirigakure ninja whilst turning around to face the intruders back as his hands searched endlessly for odds and ends, but it would all be fruitless in the end. The air would be riddled with invisible pockets of slashing air as Yasui's ninjato curved through the openness of air.

The mist ninja's smoke bomb billowed the area, obscuring their view upon the opponent, but not Yasuki. The kiri ninja laid in plain view through Yasui's eyes; the foolishness and hesitation they held was exceeding laughable. With a 180 degree clone, the spectrum of death that was daikamaitachi greedily hungered for the man afront. Should he miss-which was highly unlikely- his Ninjato's tapped power flared once more with his semi-tangible powers, ready to bring justice to Iwagakure.

Smooth footfalls carried him over to the fallen Kirigakure shinobi, silently reveling upon his victory. With a quick, skillful crouch his hands dug into the mans pockets and packs searching for odds and ends. Jackpot. His scanning hands came across a plethora of ninja tools and two stacks of ryo, and lastly, his kirigakure Hitai-ate He came to a perfect stand once more as his gaze uplifted prior to sticking his hands within his pockets.

He glanced over and met gaze with his Iwagakure allies one after another.

"Tch, pathetic, all of you just stood around like a bunch of idiots. I probably failed the mission now that he's dead, guess I don't know my own strength at times hehe. Well anyway I'm heading back to the Tsuchikage's office, Ciao

Hands tightly shoved within the confines of his pockets, he walked through the crowd as parted away from him with each step. It was a message to those who even dared to cross Iwa and its ruler.

The young girl would still be standing at the gates when she noticed that somebody from within the village had come forth. Apparently he was the messenger, from the Tsuchikage. She recognized him by appearance, although his name escaped her at that very moment. He would approach her and the two guards, his spirits definitely high. Had the person in question been captured? Or was he here for some other reason? He would bow to her slightly and then in a rather happy voice exclaim: "Your serve is no longer needed, Genin. The invader has been dealt with. You may return to your normal activities." And with that he was off on a run back to the Kage office she presumed. Dealt with? What did that mean?

No matter, she would bow to the two guards who were exchanging rather surprised glances as she walked back into the village of Iwa, questions remaining unanswered of course. She wasn't sure what the messenger meant except for the obvious that she was no longer needed for whatever the Tsuchikage had planned before. But that wasn't a big deal since she had only planned on taking another mission anyhow. The young girl would still be lost in thought as she made her way once more back from where she had come from. Well now...that was fun, wasn't it? At least she got to see the Tsuchikage, which to her was more than enough for one day. For now, she was going to take another mission to occupy her time while dedicating herself to training.

Just seconds ago his back up had arrived and then struck down the man. He hadn't even really had time to react before being struck down. But that wasn't quite the point, not only had that idiot caused them to fail the mission, but he had also taken Akio's kill. He had been waiting all day, holding his tongue and biting his lips, just waiting for a chance to strike, or to be ordered to strike. Then the fool had the balls to call him pathetic. He turned to find and attack the boy, but he had already disappeared into the crowds. "His name was...kasui. I'll kill him myself." With this he left the others behind, heading for the kage tower. He figured since his vacation had already been cut short, so why not go take on a mission? Hopefully he would find a partner before he got there. What was actually going to be a plan to just electrocute his target and capture him while he was down failed. Before he had even the chance to execute it properly, Kasui had turned the battle full-scale and it didn't take long for the Kiri-nin to be completely obliterated by an accurately fired Dai Kamaitachi.

Called pathetic by the golden-haired Genin, Izou chose to ignore it and went back to his mission at hand, before he had chose to follow Kasui on this hunt.
