Despite it being the morning and there being little people about the place that could potentially attack or stall you in your way towards the place that the master had summoned you to, you’d need to be careful, of course. Although fire country was harmless enough a place, at this time of morning you could never tell who would be stalking around in the thick mists which followed the nearby river, twisting around the area like some kind of ephemeral snake- Should you get trapped in it, you’d find the mist tugging at your very knees- Although it hadn’t risen enough to cover you completely, it comfortably rested near the knees, covering whatever could be hiding underneath the surface of it- But despite the potential hazard of there being someone out to get you, it was a nice morning.

Fresh, crisp dew lay on the floor and covered leaves and the like, giving the place a damp feeling, but it was always like this in the mornings, and even though surely today you would make a breathtaking discovery about perhaps yourself and the style you were hoping to learn, there would be nothing out of the ordainary except that the inn had it’s curtains and windows closed, but, yet again there was nothing strange about that either because it was drawing at around 8am and of course, most people inside the Inn were asleep by now- Except for one fellow, who was standing outside wearing what would appear to be an all-black ensemble as per usual, his black hair matching this, but his wild yellow eyes staring out in to the distance, awaiting you to appear.

There was no way I was going to be late for something as important as this. For the most part, the thrill of learning such a potent and legended technique such as Hiraishin was too much of a strain on my mind for me to sleep. I had remained awake throughout the nights, my thoughts wandering onto the many different outcomes that could arise from my training. It would quite difficult - much more difficult than anything I had ever tried learn being - but I knew I'd be able to master it; I had nothing to lose, honestly.

Pressing forward I continued on my original path towards the tavern, circling around the land countless amounts of times until I finally located the correct place. Even with photographic memory, it was quite the difficult task navigating through the land and finding the correct building with such thick mist plaguing the air. Nevertheless, upon reaching my intended destination I was greeted with the man I had met last night; he was supposedly going to be teaching me his prized ninjutsu and I still had no clue what his name was.

"I figure if I'm going to learn your family's prized techniques I should at least know your name."

I spoke, the cool breeze that accompanied the atmosphere's misty body sending chills down my back.

Your entrance wasn’t something that was dismissed or ignored by him- With his eyes carefully set on whatever living thing he could find walking around these silent parts, it was hard not to see you coming, really. And so looking on at you, it would seem that you would make the first introductions- Or at least conversation, and he was to respond to you in the way that you wished. However, keeping it all secret he’d give you a grin and then slowly peel himself off the side of the inn, as he’d walk four steps towards you, close enough to see your features, but not up in your face. With this same grin on his face he’d then begin to speak; ”Not really- You don’t have to know my name. If you’re a quick learner, I’ll let you call me by my name later on.” It was silly, really, but it kept the air of mystery around him- As far as you know.. his surname could be Etsuko! Or something strange like that!

Standing by you, his figure, although shorter than yours, was quite imposing in the way that wearing mostly black and the fact that he looked more like some kind of ghost than a renowned Hiraishin master- But renowned.. wouldn’t exactly be the right word seeing as he wanted to keep his identity secret, and the sheer fact that he was able to use it a secret, too. At first glance you probably wouldn’t tell that he was the person who held the key to learning one of the earth’s most powerful ninjutsu techniques, but then again, you can’t really judge a book by its cover. He was more than able to beat your sorry ass if he wanted to! But would he want to? The next steps to this quest would surely be tougher than finding the guy himself, but were you ready? For him, the technique was a walk in the park, perhaps even simpler now that he had mastered it.

But on the topic that he had mastered it- How would he start teaching you this fabled technique? It was a strange idea really that you were going to be taught Hiraishin of all things, but it would take a while. A month perhaps? Or less if you showed talent in the art. And with his yellow eyes gazing at you as the two of you fell in to silence, it would take a few more moments before the black haired shinobi would open his mouth once more to speak to you. ”Come with me.” it was a strange thing really, but without even making sure that you were following him, he’d then move from his position by you, and begin to walk towards a certain direction. ”I hope you’ve brought everything you need- We won’t be seeing this place for a while.” it was strange- Where was he taking you? As he kept moving ,his walk now turning in to a sprint, if you picked up on the environmental changes, you’d soon twig.

As rocks turned in to well.. rocks, you’d notice the earth becoming a little bit more steep with every few steps that you took, as the master ran, his black cloak flowing in the wind behind him as he dived in and out of the mist. Your keen vision would be needed in order to keep track with him surely, but your travels would lead you to somewhere strange- And definitely not Tsuchi no kuni. With rocks still an evident factor around you, you’d notice the plant life becoming a little bit more pronounced as wind-worn trees sprouted around you, battling the constant weather in order to stay alive. As humans you weren’t exactly victim to these high winds, although in a land like this, it bore no things that you could live off as so to say. Unlike the plains of Hi no kuni where you could find non-poisonous mushrooms and berries- there was nothing here. It was devoid of life.

MOVE TO KAMINARI NO KUNI

Yes, it was very silly. I did not question him however, I knew he must have a reason if he did not want to tell me his name. Even without me knowing such information, his sheer presence and appearance was intimidating - far more intimidating than anyone I have ever met. He had this distinct aroma about him that masked his wisdom and made him seem almost...intangible; coalesced with the power he surely bolstered, I was quite envious. No less, I watched him after his words were spoken; my hands patting down my body to ensure everything I needed had been attained.

"I figured as much." The words left my mouth smoothly as my legs followed in suit of the men and brought my body forward as I started walking. Soon, after taking note of him literally lunging forward, they did that as well; albeit, not as smoothly and gracefully as he had done so. I only but assumed his prowess in the intricate movement was from years of training and utilizing the unknown art, for even at my full speed he was gaining an increasing distance from me. Frankly, it almost seemed like he wasn't trying at all too.

Rather than let the gap between us get out of hand, and to ensure I could fully and completely track his movements, I activated my bloodline's potent ability. Utilizing the sharingan eye I not only anticipated where and how we would move, but I also mimicked his movement to a complete 'T'. If he was to look back at me now, my sheer likeness of his movements would almost look like an illusion; it was just that distinctive. I was so caught up in keeping our movements the same that I did not even notice the change of scenery; the land had changed from full of life and warm, to deadliness and nothing at all.

I had no idea where exactly I was, so I stopped abruptly in an attempt to collect my thoughts.

It wasn’t long until the short journey would bring them to a land somewhat similar to Tsuchi, and yet- So different at the same time. It was obvious that they had moved, and with the grey sky hanging formidably above the two of you, it was easy to say that a storm was soon approaching the land, but then again, what was different about that? ”Where are we? We’re in Kaminari no kuni, lad.” the figure would tell you as he’d keep running- The journey wasn’t over yet, no. You’d notice soon that the both of you were walking on some kind of a slope, as then- It would become evidently clear that you were running up the side of some kind of mountain as it was well- Quite obvious to tell by the sheer slope that you were running on. But why up a mountain? It would all soon be revealed as the master would slowly but surely come to a stop once you seemed to reach the top.

Neither was it a large mountain and nor did it resemble any of the other ones around the place- If anything it was just a tall pedestal, there being around room to run about and fight on top of it, making it a desirable place to train, especially being this high up. However- Should you look over the edge, a drop of quite a substantial amount was clear- So you’d need to be careful not to accidentally hiraishin your way off the edge of the cliff-like border as well. Now that it was clear that the two of you had arrived at the destination (Assuring that you had been following him so well as you had done in the past) he’d then slump down on the floor, and cross his legs, leaning his elbows where his knees were with his hand pressed against his chin, looking on at you in your current state- What was he going to get you to do to start off?

”First of all- have you had any experience with Body flickering? Or do you like running, son?” the question would be asked, and he’d shrug a little bit before adding on; ”It’s not really the same, but’yknow, body flickering- it’s a high-speed movement technique.” with this part on he’d then await your reply, the clouds parting high above you and then releasing a CRACK!! of lightning a mile or two off, the sound of the lightning rumbling up in the heavens. Surely you’d ponder whether or not it was safe to be out in such weather, but to him it seemed fine, and he was a talented master.. right? He had been here thousands of times, so should there be any weather hazards, he had somewhere the two of you could train inside- Probably a cave or something like that.

MOVE TO KAMINARI NO KUNI

It appeared as if he wasn't going to tolerate me slowing down. Without even taking a moment and stop to answer my question, the man continued on at the same speed, his words only reaching my ears after I had taken off after him once more. We were now in Kaminari no Kuni, supposedly, somewhere I had never once ventured despite my very many ANBU missions. It did well to live up to it's name however; it's very dark atmosphere almost foreshadowing the nature of lightning as it surely built up in the shadows. It was a new place, yes, but I liked the feel it had.

Needless to say, I continued in pursuit of the man even as I soon realized we were heading around and up an entire mountain. With my eyes being illuminated with chakra it was now easy to follow him as he proceeded, and it was only when we had reached the top and his movements ceased that I once again stopped. He questioned me then, his body taking position along that ground as shifted himself into a makeshift meditation-esque pose; truthfully, it was quite befitting for him.

"Yes, actually." I heeded. "I'm proficient at it to a certain degree. However, I can't say I'm a complete master of it." Though I knew shunshin had really nothing to do with Hiraishin, I figured it would be used as a surrogate to increase my speed. Still, though, I did not know the specifics to Hiraishin; was it just pure speed? Did it involve some type of space/time activation? My questions were endless.

"I understand that, but what does it have to do with Hirai-- your technique?

The collision of lightning hitting pure earth made me flinch, but I, nevertheless, remained poised in an attempt to soak up as much information as I could - I would definitely need it.

Kaminari no Kuni had become the two’s playing ground for now, nonetheless an essence stronger—more livid then the very master who had perfected the art of instantaneous transmission would emerge. Hell hath no fury like a student’s scorn—the proxy variant to the typical quote that had become famous over the passing years. Today, on this monumental evening within the province devoured in plasmid lightning, it would find truth and substance. However would the Uchiha cower in its--his presence, or challenge head on with the same smug confidence he seemingly held in abundance. Today, Sora would meet his match- en equal amongst both fighters, and conceit.

Creeping with a silent swiftness, the rather imposing mountain was easily overcome as a figure, short in comparison to its looming shadow emerged from the righter most side of the two who sat dead center in what appeared to be meditation. Upon further inspection and comprehension, features of both the physical caliber and emotional portrayal would become palpable. Skin a light mocha—tanner then most and an obvious trademark of those who hailed from the Hidden Cloud. Eyes a deep yellow—minute moons peering forward with fury embroidered into their irises. Jogging pants cuffed just below the ankles, and standard Battle Armor covering the dark hoodie that masked his torso.

(“That old… bum…NO!”) I thought to myself, seemingly livid and fueled by the bittersweet sensation of jealously as I looked upon MY sensei instructing this new guy? His hair dark and eyes lit a crimson tinge—it was obvious what he was; scum Uchiha bastard son of a bitch ass ninja. “Aye old hag!” I couldn’t contain my thoughts and as I marched with a statement of power, I could only look upon the face of my mentor sighing; his head motioning to his respective sides with disappoint. I cared little though, guy should have never brought another person—even more so an Uchiha, to our training area. I had to do something. It was only right of me.

Ten meters from the two, My eyes leveled with the sitting ignorance that decided to intrude upon my sanctuary and then I howled with verbal disgust. “The fuck are you!?” My right hand extending, its index digit wagging at the boy with short- shaggy hair, I couldn’t help but to catch his profile (from the left) and find a deep seeded hatred for the optical prowess that was apparent at this moment.

“Oh, No need to become rallied, Ishi-“ The Master uttered, sighing in the process.

It took very little for my eyes to locate the deep pool of another's chakra system, even whilst I was focusing so intently on my new teacher. My sharingan, the fabled and lusted after ability granted to me by just my Uchiha lineage, not only allowed me to predict, copy, and even analyze a person within a fraction of a moment - but it also allowed me to view the world through an almost incarnadine vision. Because of this, coalesced with my heightened senses due to my paranoia, my eyes caught onto the man's presence long before he even made himself known.

He seemed to be a local, it seemed, lacking any consideration and respect for what I assumed was because we had stumbled upon his land - it was either that or he was just stupid, I couldn't tell. "No, the better question is: Who are you?" A blank response, the movement that followed it bringing me to my feet smoothly and effortlessly. I was foreign to this land so I had no idea what or even who he was, but his bloodlust and sheer distrust was evident in his countenance.

I wasn't going to do anything, but I remained vigilant - I couldn't afford to let another person, let alone a child, get in the way of my teaching.

"You know this child?"

So he mocked me? He really took it to another plateau and rather than act civilized or mature- the man took trivial cheap shots. So it had proven true after all and all the tales of the fabled Uchiha were true; they were nothing more than supercilious scum who held god-complexes. Through my oculars anger became discernible—the sheer hatred I harvested over years of disgust and seemingly bottomless pit of envy I held for such a prodigious family. Their talent and skill weren’t their own—it was simply a product of the providence god instilled into them upon birth. They were his favorites after all. Nonetheless on such a day, I could say an Uchiha was nothing compared to myself.

I twitched. “Says the foreign bastard sitting on Kaminari soil.” My lift thumb sliding across the base of my nose with an unconscious aroma of buoyancy augmented. “Aren’t you Uchiha from the Hidden Leaf?” Though ignorant to the fact that the crimson tints he possessed weren’t segregated to one land, I allowed my general knowledge to burgeon. It really mattered not if he was a Fire country native or otherwise—he wasn’t from the Hidden Cloud, or the Lightning country. I could smell that much upon my entrance. If he decided to answer me with insults or a more mature lexis mattered little, he inquired to my sensei and thus I would afford the luxury for the man to speak.

“Yeah… his name is Ishi; my pupil and inherit to my strength,” The dark-haired man exclaimed, his face showing both hints of embarrassment and exasperation when faced with the brash and childish antics of his star student. Nonetheless, to hide his forbearance (which was dwindling at a rapid pace) he allowed his right hand to motion upwards, easily gliding through the sleek mass of darkness that sat on top of his scalp—allowing the thin layers of gel to touch ends with his lightly tanned palm and digits.

"Pupil? Really now?

It was hard, even if the prepubescent looking child was allowing his disgust to rule his mind, to miss that sheer vile nature of my words. They sought to belittle the child, to anger him even further passed his already apparent hatred for my very being - frankly, I could almost feel the venom oozing from my tongue as the words were birthed. His ignorance of my family did not do well to diminish my stoic demeanor either; instead, however, it almost seemed to invigorate me in a sense.

It was times like these, when the endorphin's in my blood were secreted in excess amounts to my brain, that my thoughts cleared and my schizophrenia diminished. "No, actually." I heeded, uncaring of the relationship this child had to the man - even if he was his prized student, he was still nothing but a foolish child to me. "You have your fact wrong Ishi, I wasn't born in Konoha nor have I ever lived there." It was, in a slight sense, a stretch of the truth; I had indeed lived in Konoha for a small portion of time, gathering intel on them for Sunagakure's benefit. However, as far as being an 'Uchiha in Konoha', that couldn't describe me even if I had.

"What is this place to you, anyways?" I spoke, transcending closer to the boy one step at a time. I wasn't doing this on purpose, no-- it was almost a subconscious reflex for me to ignite my adrenaline; the only way I could see that happening now was angering this boy even more. "Why are you getting so angry at just my presence being here? Is your hate for Uchiha that strong? Its written all of your face." I wasn't done - turning my body slightly I looked back over the boy's sensei, my hands ascending to cup the back of my crown.

"Shall we continue?"

If he wasn't going to leave, well... he would be ignored.

Had this bastard really just grew the balls to ignore me, not even giving me enough time to concoct a witty and concise response. This guy was ahead of himself, too much confidence, it'd eventually be the end of him, well, that and the fact that I wouldn't give him the time of day to indoctrinate himself within the teachings of my master. My iridescent eyes thrummed with hatred, becoming the very statuesque-representation of contempt.

"Master. . .you might want to distance yourself from the area." Catching wind of my signal, my master merely allowed a quick, second long sigh escape from his being, hinting away at his incessant embarrassment and my recklessness. But there wasn't much he could do, he knew what he was getting into the moment he took into his tutelage. "Just don't try and completely destroy the entire area, its unpleasant to have to keep traveling due to your recklessness. Well Uchiha, we'll continue this after you two are done having some quality time."

Fueled by a deep seated hatred for the uchiha lineage and disdain towards overly confident shinobi, my hands cycled through a series of zodiac seals at incomprehensible while my master concurrently bade his farewell to us both. Having performed a second long ritual, I dug deep into my wellspring of chakra as my body took not even a second to sink into the terra firm itself, sifting through its constructs like a hiding mole. By now my master removed himself from the area via Hiraishin, leaving me unsupervised with my prey. I was sure he'd be able to trace me through the earth itself due to his godforsaken eyes, but truth be told it mattered none that he could. It wouldn't stop the devastation to come. Moving backwardly through the earth itself about 45 meters while clandestinely allowing my hand mouth to feast upon the bodies of clay in my packs.

In the end, once the mouth grows comfortable chewing on a certain piece of ranked clay, it will surely create the next one in less time!

"Master. . .you might want to distance yourself from the area."

Oh? I knew my words would have pierced him, but I never imagined they'd reach far enough that a fight would ensue because of them. It was strange, though I knew him to be the notable Hiraishin master's prized pupil, I wasn't in the least frightened. It wasn't because I was overly confident, or brash for the matter, but it was simply because I cherished that adrenaline - without it, I was nothing. Frankly, if I was to die here and now it would mean that I was just that, nothing. I could feel my heart become invigorated in energy as it's steady fast tempo increased tenfold, my tenketsu points, which had been sealed for the longest of time, opening with utmost eagerness.

I took off just like that, watching the boy while I ran with heightened vision and reaction time as he danced the melody of seals within his hands. He was talented, that much was apparent, completing was seemed to be a long string of seals in the blink of an eye. I had caught onto that - I couldn't read it because it was just that fast - and began forming my own set of seals before he took off into the ground. By the time I finished a kunai had found itself within my palm, my new location ten meters closer to my hidden opponent. I could see him because my eyes granted me color, and I utilized that by throwing the kunai - with all the strength I could muster, mind you - onto the ground directly above him.

It was a beginning attack, only meant to display my intent and my resolve. If he didn't understand how serious I was, he would when he noted the exploding tag laced upon the base of the kunai. It didn't explode, but I was at the ready should such be needed.

My seals were superior to my opponents, allowing my to effectively forgo his own actions, seeping into the ground before his own finished, and finally distancing myself 45 meters from him. My prepared hand mouths mouths finished within 1-2 seconds, completing their meal before I could even reach my desired distance, but, mind you, once I had done so, my hands, and only my hands would spring forth from the earths surface.

By the time I finished a kunai had found itself within my palm, my new location ten meters closer to my hidden opponent.

My opponent, moved forward? Yes, he indeed did, I could feel his presence through the constructs of earth and I would continue to do so as long as he remained latched onto its material on some way, shape, or form. The distance between us, now some 35 meters was more than enough to perform my actions and bring forth the desired results, especially with him well on his way to join the fray. Nevertheless, concurrently as my hands sprang forth from the constructs of earth had a abundant amount of clay creations were given the privilege of life. Me left hand beckoned forth 10 small birds, of which all thrummed with the powers of hellfire, ready to unleash their hatred upon my opponent at my own whim.

In the same instance another bird was summoned, one of a greater size and mass, a getaway bird, one of which I mouthed after springing forth from the earth, like a dolphin from water, and onto its back. Not even a second later its wings wavered, carrying me some 10 meters into the air.

By now my birds were well on their way, all ten of them, rushing towards you faster than any projectile weapon, they were truly the kings of the sky. They all spread outwardly, attempting to converge upon you from all sides, but not at once, nay, that'd be too foolish and easy to dodge. A single bird would take the lead, attempting to dive into the uchiha's left leg. With that, its brothers followed suit, swarming in one after another roughly each a second apart from the last.

Description: Though it is crucial the clan member awakens their hand-mouth in order to even have a shot at mastering the Kibaku-Nendo clan techniques, with time and practice, they can get faster and faster at making their explosions, regardless of the clay's size, shape, or rank of explosion. In the end, once the mouth grows comfortable chewing on a certain piece of ranked clay, it will surely create the next one in less time!

Description: Simple but deadly, this effective combat technique allows the clan member to use their clay to fashion creatures and animals capable of bearing their unique Bakuton chakra. After withdrawing a bit of clay from their pouch, the clan member will use either hand-mouth in the palms of their hands in order to consume the it, in the process infusing it with Blast chakra. The result are these small animated clay-dolls that often resemble animals and insects of nature. Best of all? Depending upon which variation is created, they will retain the abilities of the creatures they where modelled after - i.e. those resembling birds can still fly, those resembling fish can still swim, those resembling insects can still crawl on surfaces, etc.

Special: Bird is two meters in wingspan. Only capable of sustaining the weight of one or two average sized people. Capable of flight. Explosion range of 5 meters in radius. Bomb can only move as far away from user as highest ranked 'Kouguchi Bakuha' known. Creation time is same as highest ranked 'Kibaku Iritsuku' known. Requires two standard clay blobs.
Description: Molding clay into a tiny bird about the size of a C1 bomb, the user can then perform a special handseal to make the the bird expand into a size in which it can hold one or two people and sustain flight. Just like C1, the user can control where the bird moves, but what differs this bird from what's created in C2, is the size and the inability to do anything other than support the user for flight and explode.

I could see him because my eyes granted me color, and I utilized that by throwing the kunai - with all the strength I could muster, mind you - onto the ground directly above him.

There had been a reason for this, far past it being used to initiate the fight. I knew exactly where he was, and exactly - to a certain degree - what he was doing for I could see his chakra building in excessive amounts. Even though I hadn't anticipated him falling beneath the ground when I had began forming my own hand seals, the fact that he did so was absolutely perfect - why? It was simple: much like the man that just disappeared using his Hiraishin was a master, I was a master of my own specific art - Raiton. It was because of that, and careful precision, that when the boy's hand broke through the solid surface of earth he'd feel the full effects of my lightning.

The kunai I had thrown had been a signal of it's coming, directing the lightning's fullest power to the exact area where it had landed. From there the lightning created through my chakra moved completely underground, reaching the boy within what seemed like a blink of an eye, shocking him (Presumably) fully whilst he remained underground and attempted to free his birds. As any unneeded power wasn't wasted piercing the ground like it would have, the effects would be far greater than even I anticipated. Clay birds?

Even though I know the probability of my lightning hitting the boy was high due to it's extreme speed, I still remained on my guard; my sharingan eyes, though not as fully developed as I wanted them to be, capable of tracking the birds as they soared in the sky. Prepared and almost anticipating their assault, my body shifted in it's natural position; my left hand was brought up and pointed towards my left flank, whilst my right was brought infront of me. Building up within the center of my palm was pure lightning, it's volatile nature almost welcomed among my flesh.

With the first bird seeking to latch itself within my body it would be shot down by my lightning, the speed and power of my technique far greater than the boy's own. Likewise, each descending bird that was made would be shot down before it neared a four meter radius of my body - my body spinning in a pivot of sorts in an attempt to ensure none were missed. Though I remained focused and alert of the impeding threats, a fraction of my attention still remained on the boy. Frankly, even though only seconds had passed, I hadn't felt so alive in such a long time.

. . . it was an amazing feeling.

Description: Though powerful, Raiton can become uncontrollable even in the hands of the experienced, forcing its users to focus first on controlling their power in small areas, and then, over time, expanding. As one's experience with thunder and its control grows, so does the range at which they can become deadly with it.

Special: Range at which lightning plumes can travel underground depends on the user's highest 'Karai Shin' range. Up to one foe can be targeted at a time, plus one more each time retrained. Must retain eye contact with targets until impact.
Description: Although Utage shares a name similarity with Kiba, it’s a far unique and different in many ways. The most notable is that the lightning for this technique travels underground. Once the user makes the appropriate seals, they mold a concentrated amount of chakra at their weapon tip or their fists, and quickly strike the ground with it. Whomever they targeted will soon be victim of a quick traveling electrical surge from below, invisible only until it arrives at its target. It emerges from below them, surprisingly fast so that it shocks the victim whole.

Description: Meant more as a reactionary technique than a main avenue of offense, this jutsu allows the user to essentially shoot out small lightning bolts from a free hand to anyone within a small range. This requires no seals to conjure, and can be shot out from one’s appendage during the most heated of combat. The damage is light and the bolts shoot off in a relatively straight line, at rapid speeds.
