Little Sakaki, an unlikely ally, and not a very useful one at that. With this giant on the rampage, the initial fear could only possibly wear off on her. Despite her young age, despite her lack of knowledge, she was still a shinobi. Even though terror gripped at her very soul, causing her to wish that she could run and cower, the knowledge of her occupation kept her standing straight. Standing straight, and quivering head to toe, but standing straight nonetheless.

She was being careful, certainly, for she approached the scene much slower than many of the others in the general vicinity. Sensory jutsu active, the young girl had gone scouting, carefully keeping an eye out, or whatever it was she used to sense chakra, for enemies. She was surprised to eventually establish contact with a small crowd of beings, though their attention was focused on the beast that had appeared. Were they... perhaps going to be allies?

She couldn't say for certain... but it didn't seem[/s] like they were preparing an attack on the village, guiding this grotesque behemoth. As of such, she didn't feel that bad moving in closer, continuing her self-entitled scouting mission. However, she still wanted to keep her distance from the giant creature...

Combat with the thing never even entered the small girl's mind. As if she could damage such a gigantic thing! One small flick from the thing's finger would have likely obliterated Sakaki's small form... It was something she needed to be wary of, and to respect. Indeed, Kumogakure was in pretty big trouble, it would seem, and it was possible that Sakaki would have to deliver the news.... if she could get out alive, that was...

Kagura Shingan (Kagura Mind's Eye) C-rank (20 meters)

The large, heavy fist which had came crashing down onto the Konoha genin, aiming to crush the boy and embeddding his very being into the ground he stood on, had been. . .stopped? Even the Hachibi was genuinely shocked at the thought of such a small human able to stop his fist, something notable by the way it’s eyes expanded, only to have it’s hairless brows furrow, attempting to push downward against the genin who had stopped his punch. Chakra seeped from it’s pores, and even though his fist had been stopped, the shinobi would find his skin slowly tearing away from his body as long as he remained where he did.

What came next was another surprise to the tailed beast—his body began to lift into the air. The tiny kid was able to actually lift him, which only furthered his chakra induced rage. It was something he could have easily escaped, had his ally not came to his aid, supporting him with a titan forged of earth. It’s entire being, as well as it’s tentacle appearing tails, had been lifted into the air it only took a moment before the chakra beast was thrown—thrown—across a field, headed towards four unlucky people.

As the bijuu soared through the air, enraged at what had just occurred, it shifted itself in the air so that it’s tails would soften it’s landing. When it did land, a massive cloud of dust would lift into the air. Upon its clearing, the Hachibi would be facing towards the four it had been thrown too, who no further than 30 meters away. Although it was the white haired shinobi from Konoha who had induced such anger, the tailed beast was indifferent towards who had committed the sin—it didn’t matter who did it, but one thing was clear. The Hachibi was looking for blood.

With it’s mouth agape, black and white alike chakra swirled into a ball, gathering and forming into a large sphere once more. . .

The fist came crashing down on me like a tremendous wrecking ball. My own strength saved me, though in the process I was forced to use the shousen chakra I’d spread through my body in order to fuel my strength, leaving my body defenseless against anything the Bijuu would do to me while I lifted him. My mindless laughter was cut short as the brunt of the attack fell onto me, and I grunted as my knees were bent and a concussive shockwave expanded outward from the force of the blow. Still, I was standing, and my blazing blue arms were shaking and trembling from the might of the beast, but I held on with every bit of my strength. It was then that I realized, by simply coming into such close contact with the Bijuu, its chakra was tearing me apart. Not even a second had passed before the white bandages that covered my arms, which were in direct contact with the creature, were disintegrated completely, and a pain like none I’d ever felt spread like spiderwebs through my body. Pure, raw, and relentless chakra flowed over me, burning and tearing at the skin of my arms down to my shoulders. I felt it, peeling off of me with ease, and screamed out in agony. My knees shook even more, and my elbows bent and I hesitated for a moment, giving way to the pain in a weakness I’d never known. Cringing and bearing with the pain as my skin slowly gave way to the immense chakra that threatened to devour it, I straightened my posture and readied myself.

I was so lost; so lost in my emotions, and in the pain, that I hadn’t noticed Masuerta’s mud titan erupting from the earth. I only used every last ounce of chakra I had to lift the creature, and found that I succeeded before my arms were destroyed entirely. Whether or not I was still screaming in pain was unknown to me, and whether or not the Bijuu was coming back to kill me was, too. Nothing was real to me, save for the pain I felt and the same mixture of emotions I’d been failing to resist this entire time. There was no resisting my fatigue anymore, and my knees buckled instantly. My body fell limp, smashing into the ground even before the Bijuu I’d launched did. No chakra remained within me--it had all been used up to launch the Bijuu. Shakily, I rose my head from the blackened dirt to view the destruction I’d attempted to cause: the ground shook and a massive cloud of dust lifted from the ground many meters away, where the Hachibi had landed. My screaming had finally stopped by then, I knew, as I let out a weak and breathless groan.

It was pathetic, really. I’d never been reduced to such a state in my life. My whole body was trembling just to stay awake, though my mind was still shackled by the chains of hatred. Relentless in my desire, I attempted to move my body, attempted to claw and scratch at the dirt in order to chase down the hideous creature that had caused so much anguish and chaos. But my body simply wouldn’t listen to me. I could hardly move my hand, much less pull myself along the ground or fight the Eight Tailed Bijuu. Another cry of anger escaped my lips, though it left as nothing more than a painful grunt. Yet I tried again and again, attempting to lift myself from the ground so that I could continue my assault, and again and again I failed. My eyes were blank and narrow, as they had been, unchanging in their resolution, but my will was weak.

My body was numb, probably in shock. A pool of crimson grew larger and larger around me, and I only then took the time to actually look at the hands I’d been clawing at the dirt with. They were raw and red, bloodied despite their desperate attempts to lift myself. My fingernails and skin had been dissolved entirely, and I was left with little more than muscle, bone and sinew with which to move. Why couldn’t I feel the pain arcing through me, or the feeling of ash gnawing at my bloodied, sundered limbs? A single, shaky hand reached down to my leg, slowly opening my hip pouch and retrieving a single, small pill. It was difficult, but I managed to bring it to my mouth and swallow it before my vision was consumed with a deep, pure obsidian and I faded into temporary unconsciousness.

This was the first time that the crimson-clothed warrior would witness such a humongous creature become airbourne, the "Bijuu" easily lifted into the atmosphere as it's deadly float aimed directly at his position. Goh hadn't noticed the masked man's retreat before, being too amused by the fact that there was something in the world that could actually lift the damn thing, but soon enough, he would have no choice but to mimic those actions, turning his body a complete 180 degrees before departing into a full sprint, Raishin not a meter away. The Inuzukan's yellow pupils couldn't become removed from the Bijuu even if his eyes was popped from their sockets, but now, they wouldn't dare look upon the creature's figure, focused entirely on retreating safely. Once the Taijutsu Primary had achieved at least a 20 meter distance, the handseals he had prepared would send a vigorous amount of chakra into his body, his stance changing from a human sprint to a feral crawl against the ground. Shifting into his all-fours position, Goh refused to stop there, doubling both his speed and distance before being exactly 60 meters from the Hachibi's landing site. Surely enough, the Inuzukan wasted no time giving a damn about the other's location, having no need to worry for Raishin since his canine companion was capable of matching his speed, even in Four-Legs mode. Rotating to where he could finally analyze the situation at hand, Goh gazed into a light that began to gather, the light of his potential demise. Raishin's whimper came once again, but Goh couldn't ignore it this time. The sphere that began to form definitely wasn't for show, and at the distance that he and the others had obtained, he was positive it was some form of deadly projectile. "Damnit! Gotta move out of the way!" With no other choice being left other than to evade whatever the Hachibi was planning, Goh would instead shift his position to the left of the creature, attempting to relieve himself of the projectile's direction, especially since he was originally linear with the majority of the group. His sprint would not stop, his Four-Legs mode hopefully proving advantageous as he aimed to be to the north-west of the beast if the attack was aimed for his original position. My surprise assault had been successful - too successful. I had hoped to draw some additional allies into combat by lobbing the tailed beast far away from Kii's and my position, and at first I thought that I had accomplished my goal. However, from my high vantage point I witnessed something that I would have never expected from those who would call themselves shinobi - the majority of them turning and fleeing from the beast before it would even land upon the ground. It was unbelievable to me that there existed those in the world who would not heed the stirring within their blood, the lust for the vicious slaughter and the murder of the innocent.

My ally Kii appeared to be down for the count. I found myself shaking my head disappointedly - he had shown some excellent promise, even having the strength to block the Hachibi's massive fist upon collision and lifting him up. However, that would seem to be where my compatriot's strength would fail him. I could see even from this high distance that the man was mortally wounded, skin shredded off of him as he had been exposed to the corrosive nature of the monster's acidic chakras.

Although I had utilized nearly every ounce of my chakra to witness the birth of this Titan, now that it was created and I was on top of it, I had spent all of the chakra that I would need to. Observing the battlefield for just a moment more, I would watch as the bijuu's tails whipped out to slow and cover its fall, preventing it from taking too much damage. However, the monstrosity made a huge mistake in that moment. Its attention turned from me towards the people that I had sought to draw into combat, leaving his back exposed.

Moving quickly towards the top of the Titan's head from the back of it, I would then order my creation to move towards my target. With as focused as the Hachibi was on the creation of its terrible technique, I doubt that it would have noticed my creation coming for it, despite the amount of noise that a 50 foot tall earthen creation makes. The Titan, sprinting with an agility that belied its massive size, curled its right fist into a ball while it moved and, upon getting close enough, would project the fist towards the back of the fiend's head.

At the same time, my creation's right foot would attempt to come down on the Hachibi's furthest right tail, while the left hand stood ready to guard any sort of potential counter attack. If nothing else, I thought to myself, perhaps the Titan can buy some time for the fools out there to form some sort of counter-assault... or at least run away.

''Darlink, ve can talk about zhis!"

It was quite the sight to see, a flying tentacle ox made out of chakra, not necessarily a daily occurrence for Gentle. But it was welcomed, nonetheless. Nodding to himself, he began to think it through in his mind, his quick yet chaotic mind playing the possible scenarios out in his head, unfortunately, they were all equally horrible and deadly. What was he going to do?

''Vell, if I simply keep my distance and not aggravate him, I should be fi-- NEIN HE IS CHARGING HIS BEAM!"

Without much to work on, Gentle immediately grasped his blade and offered only a single word of encouragement to his allies. ''HELP!" Flickering off towards the massive monster, Gentle felt his light-headedness and arousal fade away, this monster, as sexy as it may be, was trying to DESTROY him. ''Ve could have had a future together, you stupid Ox. SO MUCH FUTURE. NEIN, NEIN." Screaming to himself within his mind, he'd end his flickers [5] meters away from the beast, his sword poised and ready for action.

''Stupid sexy Ox-squid, I'll make you love me. YES, YOU VILL LOVE ME LIKE MY FATHER NEVER DID."

Holding his sword above his head, a mere moment was all he required to prepare his penultimate attack. Blade in hand, he'd simply lift the blade above his head, the sheer weight of the blade causing a satisfied feeling in the pit of his stomach. ''Nngh, wunderbar. I hope you feel zhis, baby. Feel it deep." With his internal monologue completed, Gentle would thrust the blade downwards, the weight and effort behind the swing sending a strong, near on invisible blade of wind towards the creature, it's sharp mass aimed expertly towards the closest tentacle to his current positioning.

''Maybe I can eat it later?"

As he was at the far right side of the creature, the blade would travel towards its target, the tentacle on the furthest right side to him, at twice the speed of a well thrown kunai, it's destructive force enough to destroy nearly anything that stood in its way. The question was: did this creature fall under that jurisdiction?

His allies charging with much rage and power into the presence of the beast got him fired up, the bijuu literally gouging his sense of balance as it landed only dousing his insides with more adrenaline. He knew what he was going to do, he had seen that beam before and he knew the bijuu made it or would at least use that much pure chakra for something just as destructive. He had to stop it, even if it costed him his life. The combined sacrifices of those innocents who might be in its wake of soon to be damage was too great. This was his chance to join the others, to become recognized as a hero, he’d be damned if he was someone who couldn’t charge at a beast bigger than his house or two stacked on each other. The distance he had backed was perhaps only one or two steps and immediately was stopped before the beast even landed, a quick change of through process in his head making him stop his tactical retreat.

He didn’t have the savvy prowess to flicker back and forth so he had already been in motion once the beast landed and aimed to coordinate his strike with the construct of earth that was behind the bijuu. He was perhaps twenty meters away as it landed, the group being ten behind him, all he needed was a measly five or six more and he could make that in no time, his sword still in the same charging stance it had been a few seconds ago he came up about 14 or maybe 13 meters away from it and after the beam blade was launched from his ally and after the golem aimed a strike at the beast he himself launched his own beam blade a vicious slash of wind at the beast.

He could feel the strength sapped from him and it was grand, but he only hoped that if he could not cut into the skin of the beast he would disrupt by grand amounts its ability to channel its beam. The beam would fly in a linear path at one of the tentacles of the beast, he had chosen one on its extreme left as traveling there would leave him closest to the golem and out of the direct path of its head or at least the chakra sphere. The way he had charged the sword he could easily cleave through most things, when he added the beam blade to that well it was just an insane amount of cutting power. Before it a human was like a piece of wet already partially torn paper.

Well, Kain was right about it flying at them, and it seemed him and Gentle retreating was a pretty good idea, but shit, it was never so easy. Rather than taking out his rage on the duo that flung him like that, the Hachibi seemed to be preparing the same attack he had used to wipe out an entire village, and everybody around was presented with the option to either fight back and try to stop the Bijuu, or flee and try to evade... Kain would opt to do both. Whilst he retreated Kain had sent created 4 large snakes, probably going unnoticed to everybody else because they had burrowed themselves into the ground immediately, all the while they had been sneakily approaching the bijuu, and by this time they were will within range - especially when you considered the snakes could stretch up to 50 meters.

"I'll try my luck down here."

He was half speaking to himself and half speaking to his Chef comrades, their approaches being much more crazy than his own. Without a moments hesitation, Kain would seemingly sink into the ground, before disappearing completely under the dirts surface, his snake-like tunnelling skills allowing him to move through the earth rather quickly. He dug into the dirt diagonally, simultaneously putting himself a fair distance underground to shield him from any potential attacks, but moving him closer and closer to the Bijuu as he went - it would of course take some time to get to the monster itself, but that's what his snakes were for in the mean time. From beneath the Hachibi would they appear, 4 massive serpents shooting out of the ground and soaring into the air, stretching themselves incredible lengths. Their main target was the face of the monster, what was assumed to be one of the more vulnerable points, particularly the eyes. Although not all impressive next to such an incredible creature, the strength of these snakes was indeed deceptive - seeing as although their appearance wouldn't suggest it, each one held an S-rank strength bite, more than enough to bite through flesh and bone.. but he had never really tested it against a bijuu, huh?

When used the clan member can stretch and twist their body at any angle, allowing them to surprise their opponents, spy on situations normally out of reach, and react much like a snake would. The only drawback is that while malleable, their bodies are highly susceptible to damage in this form as their bone structure is no longer ‘normal’.

Description: Senei Jashu is a signature Kagehebi Nintaijutsu technique which allows the clan member to manifest a bundle of quick-striking snakes that extend from the user’s sleeves. The Kagehebi extends his palm and shoots out snakes to attack a target, having them move at impressive speeds and strike with their fangs. Though basic, this variation has been known to subdue even the strongest of foes with a single snake bite.

Special: Distance summoned snakes can tunnel is dependent on the users skill in Nan-Kaizou. Speed at which snakes/user tunnels is dependent on the users skill in Jatai no Daija.
Description: According to research, some snakes possess the ability to effectively tunnel into the dirt where they create dens to live in. This technique is based off the snakes ability to tunnel by allowing either the user or their summoned snake companions to tunnel through the ground at high speeds. This ability is useful in pulling off attacks on an unsuspecting for or helping the user to escape dangerous situations.

To the small girl, it was like hell was breaking loose. She'd never truly witnessed a fight of this magnitude, never having seen first-hand combat between more than one shinobi versus another. Even then, as a Genin, it wasn't too uncommon that the fights she had actually been present for were simply between academy students. So when facing a spectacle such as this... she felt rather... small.

Unfortunately for her, she was small. Much smaller than the shinobi launching an all-out offensive at the giant chakra mass, and much smaller than the creature itself. If only she was the same size... she wouldn't have felt so afraid! However, fear was not a luxury that Sakaki could curl herself up in and hide away. No, because of her 'scouting mission', she was in a heap of trouble... the collection of chakra focused at the beast's mouth becoming more and more massive with each passing second.

Out of sheer confusion, without any real idea to go on, Sakaki called upon the lightning chakra within herself through hand seals. She willed it to flow through her veins, her body, her very essence. She called upon it, commanding it to manifest in the form of wood, wire, and metal. The bow was long, nearly as tall as Sakaki was... the wire crackled, already drawn back, prepared to jump right back into place. The arrow, a bolt of pure electricity screamed in the girl's hand, the skin that touched it tingling from being exposed to such pure energy.

It was the strongest thing that Sakaki could muster, and likely with the longest range. Whatever chance of survival she had rested upon the efforts of those fighting this monstrous Bijuu. Her little body quivering from the effort, she drew back as far as she could... and released! Her arrow howled as it spiraled through the air, on a straight path to collide with the Bijuu's.... mouth?!

Yes, the small girl, having noticed the snakes attacking through the air, figured out that they were aiming for the beast's eyes, which made a lot of sense. As far as weak points were concerned, open areas like that were prime targets. The mouth, too, was a sensitive area, and with all the energy collecting in front of the Bijuu, it likely didn't have much resistance there. Sakaki had managed to find a nice vantage point, somewhere to it's left, which offered her the perfect angle to strike behind the energy ball.

Her arrow would soar, skirting the Bijuu's attack, and finding its way into the squishy throat of the beast. Sakaki could only pray that it did something... anything! As long as the beast flinched...

Eshaku Raikou (Lightning Bow)

Type: Offensive | Ninjutsu
Range: 10 meters per rank. (10 at D, 50 at S)
Chakra: Uses chakra equal to the rank used.
Special: Creates a stun effect for any limb that 'arrows' hit, lasting for half a turn. If the target's head is hit, their entire body is rendered stunned for half a turn turn. By taking an extra turn to 'charge' the bow, the user can double the range of the technique, at the cost of doing damage one rank lower. 'Arrows' travel at kunai speed normally, and 'kunai and a half' speed upon charging for extra range.
Description: After performing the needed handseals, the user will wave both arms through the air, leaving raiton chakra behind in the shape of bow and arrow. The lightning arrow can then be shot at an opponent and stun them from afar. By taking extra time to focus their energy, the arrow can be re-shaped for distance, rather than power.

Drowned in its fury, the Hachibi’s eight tails snaked and lashed out as the beast struck at the ground violently. Chakra swirled and formed into a powerful, tight ball, growing more and more powerful each second. Time was running out for the four the monstrosity had directed its rage upon, threatening to end their lives in an instant. That didn’t mean, however, that the Hachibi hadn’t noticed the 50 meter tall rock golem approaching it from behind. Instead, it would simply deal with it using its many tails. Unfortunately for the golem, it wasn’t quite as durable as the Hachibi itself, nor would it likely be able to defend against four tails at once. Before the punch had even been made, two tails made to whip at the body of the golem with immense force. After, two more wreathed around the golem in such a way that movement was nigh impossible, intending to constrict it with all their might until the rock that formed the creation would, eventually, crumble.

The tailed beast wasn’t without other foes though—and the screaming masked man wouldn’t go unnoticed. A fist raised, aiming to crush the claymore wielding man beneath it’s massive knuckles. Despite the Hachibi’s speed, the man managed to escape its attack through the use of movement techniques, having maneuvered even closer to the monster. Still, the punch would not be wasted, having caused a large crater in its wake. A miniature quake was caused, causing any who happened to be nearby—particularly Ichiro and the masked man—to have their balance taken from them the moment the fist collided with the ground. A single formed a massive shadow over Gentle as it came crashing downward onto his current location,, aiming to slap the masked fighter with it’s massive appendage. However, things didn’t go quite as planned for the Hachibi. It’s target sent out crescent of energy that, surprisingly enough, held enough power to actually sever one of the tails in a perfect half. Wincing at the pain, a feral scream echoed across the lands. Despite the lad’s best efforts, chakra continued to gather near the Hachibi’s mouth. All he (Gentle) had to deal with now was that, despite having severed the tail, it was still crashing down towards him in addition to the severed part which would fall nearby, excreting an almost toxic chakra.

As for the raven headed lad who had decided to recklessly flank the Hachibi—his efforts would be met with the beast’s nearest tail. The tentacle like appendage slid against the ground at heightened speeds, aiming to collide it’s slithering tail against the civillian with an immense amount of force. By the time he had advanced a distance of less than fifteen meters from the Hachibi, the tail had been but ten meters away from the man himself, advancing at speeds that covered several meters a second. By the time his attack had been executed, the tail would have cut the gap between them in half. If he hoped to dodge, he would need to be capable of either leaping over the tail (with a height of twenty meters), move outside it’s maximum reach which was as far as fifty meters away due to the length of the tail, or cleave his way through. As for the attack, which had been aimed towards the opposite direction of the incoming tail, it would meet it’s mark, causing a deep cut to just wound one of the Hachibi’s tails. If the man was unable to dodge the attack—he would find himself in a world of hurt, as it was very likely every bone in his body could potentially be broken as well as the fact he would be sent flying incredibly far towards the left at high speeds.

When four snakes emerged from the ground, the Hachibi was genuinely caught off guard. With only enough time to react to a single snake, the beast grabbed one of them by their tail and slammed them against the ground with its massive strength, easily subduing it. However, the rest of the thin serpents managed to successfully latch themselves onto the Hachibi, but due to the beast’s wild movements upon having a tail severed, the snakes wouldn’t be near the beast’s eyes. The pain, although hardly lethal, was excruciating to the chakra beast, forcing his head to jerk towards the left, offsetting his aim for his charged attack.

It wasn’t until that moment that the Hachibi decided to fire it’s tailed beast ball. Just as it began to move it’s head in an effort to aim it’s attack towards the few who were still visible to it, an arrow struck the beast near it’s face, restraining movement of the Hachibi’s jaws and forcing the ball to be fired prematurely. A wild, savage cry escaped from the Bijuu in that moment, and the immense chakra that had been built up within its maw was instantaneously released. Although premature, the attack had more than enough power to level a village entirely, enveloping everything before the Bijuu in a blinding yellow light. Stuggling to aim whilst firing his attack, the Bijuu reared its head in an arc to its left, swiping the beam across the landscape in a wide cone, annihilating anything that happened to be in its path. The landscape would be forever changed, marked with yet another black scar upon the earth, though the results were even more devastating than the previous blast. The beast had fired towards the ground, leaving a massive fissure in it’s wake, essentially creating a new valley in Kaminari no Kuni.

Growing frustrated with the snakes clinging and constricting it’s face, especially considering the amount of pain it was enduring because of the serpents, the Hachibi reacted with a feral scream. In that moment, it emanated a pulse of yellow chakra, which obliterated everything within ten meters of the Hachibi, causing the snakes to literally appear as if they disintegrated. A large crater formed beneath the tailed beast as a result of the pulse of chakra. Still, even though it was only a ten meter kill radius, those further out would still be effected by the sudden ripple of chakra. Anyone within twnety meters would be sent flying, feeling nothing more but a incredibly strong, chakra filled force pushing them away. Those within fifty meters, no matter where they were, would be affected by the heavy, baneful chakra that had been released—something that could only be overcome by raw power.¹

What would be left in the wake of the Hachibi's retaliation, and who would still be brave enough to challenge it?

Heels crunched in the dirt, the tell tale sounds of battle came crashing over me as i crested a small hill. Hands on my hips, i squinted, obviously unable to miss the giant form of the creature, but instead searching for familiarities in the shinobi who danced around it. I knew one man who would be drawn unilaterally to trouble of this magnitude. I sped up, a quick strut taking me nearer to the battle, although i did not intend to get particularly close. Now about 50 meters from the majestic creature, close enough to count its eight gleaming tails, i broke into a run, although my long legs still managed a degree of elegance in my statement heels. As i drew closer and closer, i saw it, the snakes flying through the air, and my heart leaped in my chest. So he was here. Strangely, i thought i recognised another of the shinobi, a particularly tall man. If the situation weren't so desperate, i'd try harder to place him.

But as it was, i could see that the battle wasn't in favour of the shinobi. I could make out a figure already unconscious, although another ninja had some great earthen creation in play. As the humans launched their respective assaults, the eight-tails appeared to be retaliating, all the while gathering energy within its mouth. I couldn't spot Kain, even after seeing his snakes... Was he in trouble? I was still far enough from the beast to avoid the reach of the majority of its attacks, or so i hoped. This wasn't the time for heroism, nor for chivalry.

"What on earth are you sweetie? You look rather like a bull, but then... Either way, if you've hurt Kain, i'll skin you and turn you into a line of winter coats." Pursing my lips, i began the creation of the glittering gold that was the trademark of my bloodline. I wasn't sure how much use i'd be, but i wasn't about to turn around and leave. It was as those thoughts were settling in my mind that the beast launched its first impressive attack, the burst of pure chakra that assailed the land, carving out its rage in the very earth. Before i could get my thoughts together, it unleashed yet another attack, blaring out from it in every direction, forcing me to my knees and almost bowling me backwards. Lowering my arms which i had raised instinctively to protect my made up face, i glared at the creature through thick lashes.

It was nothing more than a bully, taking out its own problems on other people. Well, we'd see how arrogant it was when it was trampled under my heels.

My entire body hurt. The drag of fatigue, the peace of my subconscious had been dispelled by a searing pain, surging throughout my being relentlessly. My arms--or rather, what was left of them--screamed and cried in agony, a mind-numbing sensation which brought me back into reality. The reality before me that, in my naivety, I hadn’t realized existed. The truth. With a shake of my head and a grimace, I let out a groan from my throat. It ached, too, probably raw from my screaming, though I ignored it. My vision was still blurry, though I soon shook my grogginess away only to view a sight that sent my mind into a spiral. The Bijuu was still before me, and everyone--even Masuerta--they were all still fighting it. A surge of emotion shot through me, then, and with surprising strength, I pushed myself up from the floor, thinking nothing of my wounds of fatigue, and only of crushing the Hachibi. Instead of meeting my own immense resolution and strength, with which I still expected to crush the creature, I met another surge of stinging, burning pain as my skinless hands pushed against the grainy, scarlet-stained ash I laid upon. Instinctively, my arms jolted out from under me, and I fell pathetically down to the ground once more in a small cloud of dust.

Realizing it was impossible for me to take on the Bijuu in my state, I managed to roll myself to my feet and, arms dangling uselessly, sought to tend to my own wounds. My chakra and stamina had been regenerated at an immense pace due to the soldier pill I’d taken moments before losing consciousness, though I feared I wouldn’t have enough even to heal myself. My wounds were extensive--far worse than any I’d suffered before--and the pain was a testament to that. It took everything in me to keep from losing my consciousness again, or to stay silent in burning misery. I poured all my power into concentrating my chakra into my hands, and instantly I’d begin the healing process using Shousen no Jutsu. It drained me considerably, and I felt the chakra leaving my body as I used it to regenerate my disintegrated flesh, though I also felt relief as the pain lessened more and more as I continued to heal myself.

My eyes fell to the battle before me as I did, and in that instant, a massive blast of pure chakra was fired from the beasts mouth. I let out a cry, reaching out into the distance as if I could save them--as if my will alone was enough. But my will wasn’t even enough to save me from myself, and I felt rage filling me, washing over me and overwhelming me. How many would die? How many had died? I didn’t care anymore. All I cared about was ending this thing’s life, taking from it what it had taken from so many others. I began a slow march, still healing my wounds but ignoring the pain through sheer maddening hatred, ready to take on the Bijuu once again. I was stopped for a moment, however, as I viewed the Bijuu unleash a powerful surge of chakra. Dirt, dust and ash were whipped up in a tempest as the shock wave spread, knocking all those close enough back. I stood my ground, my hand over my eyes and my clothes wreathing and flapping in the powerful gust of wind birthed from the attack.

Despite the insanity consuming me, and the maddening urge to simply rush in and take the Hachibi down, I was able to calm myself enough to realize I had no chance. At least, not until my wounds were healed.

Although his distance was vast, he could still feel the incredible aura of the creature, his Inuzukan senses being useless in the presence of such an unfathomable beast. Reviewing the skills he had obtained over his lifespan, not much came to mind that could do any good against the Eight Tails, or rather, Seven Tails now, thanks to a hidden blast rising from the distant ground to the Hachibi's appendage. Immediately upon noticing that one of the unknown shinobi that he had just met was deciding to remain close and engage in battle instead of fleeing like Goh had done, both rage and self-loathing began to fill him, recognizing that there was those who had taken much more courageous acts than himself. In the mind of this warrior, he could never allow a single soul outclass him, especially if it meant putting his life on the line for the sake of it. Without another moment passing, Goh would turn to his canine ally, their feet still in motion as he muttered the words to Raishin. "Alright, Raishin! I've decided instead of the beast bringing the battle to me, I'm going to bring the battle to it! Its time to use 'that' jutsu!" The snow-stained canine feared the consequences that came with using such a technique in their current state, but he showed no sign of defiance, nodding with approval as he let loose a heavy roar. The duo hadn't trained this specific technique for very long, the effectiveness of it being intermediate compared to what it could truly devastate in the hands of an Inuzukan master, but nonetheless, Goh would have no other choice left. Ignoring the remaining assaults that seemed to ensue after the first strike against the Hachibi, a fluster of handseals occured below his view, which was upon the path that he trudged in circular motion around the Hachibi, chakra mixing between his animal companion and himself as he howled the technique's moniker with pride: "Rare Beast Transformation: Double-Headed Wolf Technique!!!" Instantly, a cloud of smoke covered the duo, an extreme roar being the initial result of the thundering transformation, a massive claw exiting the veil afterwards. Rampaging against the ground with his new feral body, Goh and Raishin would become one, their fusion being a gargantuan twin-headed wolf, retaining both beings' natural white hair, while endowing them with rows of deadly fangs, newfound strengths that was needed in such a situation, and a body that could stand against that of the Hachibi. Upon finishing the metamorphosis, the duo's sprint would increase in speed, their eyes witnessing not the destroyed landscape that they could now see clearly, but the release of the creature's gathered energy, it's direction no longer heading towards where Goh had expected, but arcing into his direction. "Damnit! Let's move, Raishin!" The granted momentum of the transformation left the wake of the beam's destruction behind him, accelerating until he could finally reach the far-left of the Hachibi, craters born from the beast's blast and dust scattered from the wolf's journey left behind. Instead of continuing in a complete rotation around the creature, the twin-headed canine would aim for the rear of the creature, hoping to strike a blind spot before the transformation wore off, but suddenly, he identified a giant rock structure crumble from the Hachibi's strength. Not only that, but he distinguished another human [Lash] standing upon the falling structure. Fearing that the fall from such a height would lead to the man's death, Goh contemplated which procedure he should pursue: save the potentially doomed man, or take the opportunity to land a critical blow to the Hachibi? "Alright, alright! Just shut the hell up!" The growling heard from the second head on the wolf would be the outcry of Raishin, demanding that Goh attempt to save the man instead of taking the selfish attack. Being that they shared one mind in such a transformation, Goh wouldn't dare going against his canine companion, even if he was it's master. Despite the fact that he didn't truly care to saving the man's life, Goh would have no choice, his speed growing even faster as his chakra plummeted by the second. Somehow, someway, the Hachibi's incredible aura was doing more than just bringing fear to the fearless, but it also acted as a weight upon his chakra, his body beginning to feel heavy as the chakra drainage increased. With his chakra being nearly at it's peak use, the twin-headed wolf would make one final leap into the air, Raishin's head opening it's mouth in an attempt to catch the man while Goh's head spoke. "Hey, you! Hop in!" If the man would allow it, he would be safely sheltered in the canine's mouth as they tumbled dozens of meters to the south-east of the Hachibi's rear, allowing the man to escape unscathed. Fortunately for myself, I was not totally useless when it came to hand to hand combat. Although my opponent had four appendages, I was quite used to fighting against humans who had the same amount - two arms and two legs. Since the first two tails decided to come and assault me before and I thrown my punch, I would instead use the momentum of the punch's action in an attempt to swat away the first two tails that had attempted to whip themselves towards me. In that moment, I was aware that my assault would be defended against and knew that being close would only do bad things to me.

Therefore, the great Titan's knees would find themselves bending and then jumping backwards, the gargantuan size allowing me to be sent flying about 15 meters quite easily. While I was in the air, I had noticed the bijuu's two other tails coming towards where I had been just a moment ago, and knew that if I had been caught by those tails I would probably be dead. Unfortunately, because of my lack of offensive capability, the monstrosity had managed to gather enough energy to fire its beam, leaving another devastating wreck of landscaping.

It was only moments after my landing that the creature would let loose a horrible cry, one filled with pain and suffering. It was this cry, filled to the brim with corrosive yellow chakra, that struck out. Immediately, my golem was sent hurtling backwards, flying out of control for about another 15 meters before the heavy thing could manage to stabilize itself again. From this distance, I wasn't really sure what I could do. My chakra pools were effectively exhausted, I was far away from the bijuu and the thing was good at defending itself from behind.

Well, I guess we'd just have to wait and see.

Deep within the general territory of the Bijuu, Gentle couldn't help but let out a nervous chuckle as he watched his powerful blade cleave through the tentacle like a hot knife through a baby. ''Wunderbar, vell, my job here is done!" Striking a pose in victory, he quickly turned on his heel and began to run in the opposite direction of the bijuu, a smarmy grin on his face as he began to evacuate its personal space.

''Don't be mad, darlink! It vas out of love!"

Screaming in pure terror, he'd once again enrich his legs with a powerful jolt of stamina, his form carrying itself another thirty meters to the right through the use of shunpo. Skidding to a halt, he watched as the beast expelled his large, angry blast. The sight itself giving Gentle yet another erection. ''Mmh', you big, delicious beast. Come to daddy, I vill give you vhat you vant!"

''Ahaha, he TOTALLY vants me."

Thinking himself victorious, Gentle let out a large, boastful laugh, his hands chopping on either side of his groin, motioning the bijuu to come towards him. Grinning his toothy grin, he watched as the beast seemingly only screamed in pain, the warm feeling of arousal completely dulling the overwhelming pressure its voice brought. ''Hey, is zhere anybody here zhat needs help? I'm pretty wunderbar over here myself, herr strangers!"
