I had but one chance. Despite the confidence in my power, I knew everything I did had to be as precise and accurate as possible due to the overwhelming odds against me. Foes from all over appeared, wielding powers of all kind in response to my daring challenge. Yet they were unafraid - that meant I would have to be as well. How exciting! Unfortunately, despite the peril I faced, an end to it all would arrive sooner than I thought; if only Nami and Kimi could see this!

"...too easy!"

My targets, as follows - both wood clones, all four guards, and the Samurai. With the gate spanning twenty meters wide, it was inferred the end of the canyon was at least twenty meters wide; more than enough room for my maneuverability to occur. As such, while the guards tossing their kunai and the girl underneath banked on my stillness for the effectiveness of their strikes, what they really hope for was nothing more than an eloquently laid out trap. And with their perfect assimilation of it, it was now time for them to learn the hard truth behind failure.

No regrets...!!!

The Chain of Lightning required my stillness, but this was assuming I opted to remain unmoving for as long as my assailants wished in order for their attacks to land true; unfortunately, this would not be the case. I would be on the move, but not before my clone's interception took place. With everyone's attention on myself and not my clone behind me, the trap was set. He had begun to move while I was delivering my thundering justice, a Shimmering Shunshin [4/10] bringing him no more than 12 meters away from them all - we stood at least 10 meters apart. Now, to slay.

The moment she would land, two beams of oblique wood would conjure forth from her body, giving birth to two perfect replica's of herself-a Moku Bunshin which stood at her right side-roughly five feet from her and one behind her...Hana would circle the opposite direction, another kunai slipping into her hands...Hana had performed seals, submerging herself underneath the earth.

Both guards on the ground unleashed their kunai from their current distance of 20 meters away, aimed at the man's chest. One, who would be on the intruder's left, began to rush toward him, while the other focused on sifting through his handseals in order to prepare a technique.

Both guards atop the gate that weren't utilizing Kagura Mind's Eye leaped from their perch, landing on the ground and rushing toward the foreigner...as they dashed, they'd wait until they were ten meters far from him before unleashing their tagged kunai simultaneously, on either side of the man, rather than directly at him, as to limit his escaping ability

He was watching this enemy intently...The steel itself coated with thin chakra would be propelled viciously at the man who had only just started his handsigns.

All eyes were on me - and with that, my faux would act well. Moving front left in a way that left him out of the path of the incoming projectiles, my slave would do well do move like the wind in an untraceable path, and upon reappearance, unleash instant murder - Kyuuden screamed from my claws, razor sharp thunder cutters 20 meters wide unleashing from each fingers. Ten in all, the horizontal swipe would ensure all targets would be struck, plus a bit more as it crashed into the closed gates. Unaware and unable to provide a defense to the incoming power (B + A ranked damage), there was little that could be done to avoid the unavoidable. All but one should soon remain.

Don't think I've forgotten about you now, hole-digger...

Having witnessed the creator of the clones sink into the earth, I would keep in mind her approach, though with the confusion created, all I needed to do now was dance out of the way as my clone cleaned up. Backwards Shunshin [2/10] came once I knew the paralysis was unneeded due to my clone's attack, sweeping me away before the restraints could finish - but not before unleashing a blast of lightning claws of my own, consuming whatever projectiles came to while dealing a deadly blast of its own - the devastation was endless. Sharingan guiding us both through all of this, there was no truth we couldn't reveal. At least 40 meters away from my nearest enemy, I licked my lips as I awaited the arrival of the soon-to-flow crimson.

Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it allows a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed - to an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Such a feat is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds they would otherwise be unable to reproduce. In the end, the user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly should they need it. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

If you all haven't posted because you're concerned about Fina's latest post, please send me a PM with your questions and such. I've got to go to work, but I'll handle that accordingly once I get off and review everything (again). In case you didn't know, though - my original verdict for the previous circumstances stands. Jae and I talked and he understands where I was coming from, so you'll all need to acknowledge that before we continue.

The moment the enemy clone entered within 30 meters of the gate, the guard at the top of the gate immediately called out that another had entered the battlefield. However, due to the speed of the clone's shunshin, there was little time, and it suddenly released ten massive blades of raiton chakra. They were heading to crash into the gate, and each guard made to move. The guard atop the gate released his sensor technique and leaped forward, off of the gate and over the lightning blades. When he landed, both waves of lightning blades would already have passed.

The four guards on the ground knew they were in trouble, but reacted as quickly as possible. The two nearest to the gate leaped upwards, applying chakra to their feet and finding a haven above the lightning blades. Since the gate was heavily fortified against many forms of elemental chakra, as the attack smashed into the gates it stood strong. The walls were rocked and a shower of splinters burst from the wooden gates, but it was otherwise unaffected.

The two guards further out, however, could not move away quickly enough. They attempted to leap up and forward, over the cutters, but found their legs caught by the deadly jutsu. Blood sprayed forth out of the open wounds, and they fell to the ground in pain. The second wave of Kyuuden passed over them, as they were laying on the floor, unable to stand. Due to their forward leap and the distance covered earlier, they were but six meters from the clone. Grimacing from the floor, one gathered fuuton chakra within his arm and swung it forward, releasing a deadly tunnel of cutting wind toward the clone. The other injured guard formed hand seals as quickly as possible before giving birth to a clone made of intense flames. It woulds serve in his stead, and began to move toward the enemy clone as quickly as possible.

Kamaitachi (Cutting Whirlwind)

Special: Size of tunnel opening measures 5 meters, and wind blasts can travel 10 meters; each time relearned, the mouth grows by 5 meters and the blast itself travels an extra 10 meters..
Description: This jutsu was brought to fame by a legendary Suna shinobi from long ago, and was named after a mythical creature able to command the winds on a whim. After channeling wind chakra at either their weapon or limb, the user swings it around and brings forth a most intense tornado, coming out from the weapon/arm. Once it strikes the user, the tornado tips upward and takes the user up, keeping them imprisoned by the strong currents, and delivering multiple waves of cutting/slicing damage onto their bodies, as well as dropping them hard onto the ground afterward.

Katon Bunshin no Jutsu (Fire Clone Technique)

Special: Clone speed matches that of the user, and can go anywhere the user can. Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. Explosion range covers 5 meters.
Description: With this technique, the Katon user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of a most intense fire, this clone retains the user movement speed and can share linked mental judgement. Best of all, due to its flowing essence, many solid physical attacks pass through the clone, burning instead whatever was used to strike them. Finally, when defeated, the clone explodes into a blast of flame that aims to take over the nearest opponent available in the form of napalm.

I'm going to address the most recent issues in order, so bare with me. If you've feel that I've missed something, you know how to get a hold of me.

[/b] Fina, there is a bit of an issue with your post. We've already decided the fact that your chain-lightning was, indeed, cast. Likewise, we also agreed that Tyro's chakra blade was cast as well.

The fact that you didn't shunshin until after you cast another b-rank jutsu (even with hyper seals) is where the issue comes into play. Tyro's blade would've hit you by then, and almost for maximum damage.

I say almost because you're standing on the peak of its reach, and probably wearing armor? You'd probably take a nasty cut to the stomach or chest, though your ability to continue this fight would be non-existent. Axcel and I have both agreed you're goin' to need to bail, regardless of what happens with your clone.

2. It's very hard to judge a person's spirit, so I can't determine how much your injured guards would be able to do, Kii. Considering their veins weren't seared shut, though, it's safe to say they'd bleed out in a matter of seconds.

The wind tunnel is cool, but as we've said in PM, the clone is a carbon copy of the user. That means your fire clone wouldn't have legs, so at best it's crawling toward Fina's shadow clone.

3. You all need to be a little more weary of posted IIC. If you guys don't want one, it can't be forced onto you. However, since none of you rejected Fina's 48 hour posting window, it innately falls into effect.

Unfortunately, it's up to the post of the IIC to claim a critical hit (which he did not), so you're all saved for the most part. This is just something to mind for the future, guys.

Whether he was detected or not was a non-issue, the offender was in well over his head. Zeal, particularly that of youth, was a double-edged sword which, if handled incorrectly, cut indiscriminately. This would be their assailant's deathblow, a notion the Tsuchikage found very unfortunate. He couldn't help but feel that if they met under different circumstances, he might have enjoyed his company. The Earth Shadow's guard would circumvent the skirmish entirely to take a position posterior to the assailant's own, arming himself with a kunai along the way. His eyes never left the battle however. He was stringently instructed by his commanding officer to not let his prudence waver. Their target was young but resourceful, and experienced beyond his years, making any mistake more costly than it was worth. First off, I'd like to apologize for having to post in here so much and disrupt the roleplay. It's just that there is a lot of shit to sift through, and sometimes I miss things and have to restate my case - I'm only human, y'know?

So, my current issue is with Kii's post. I know I touched up on it with you in PM a little bit, but there are other things that I've come across that I feel aren't kosher.

The main issue is that your guards, per text, were focused solely on Fina. Likewise, they were either attacking or preparing to attack him; this limits your ability to properly defend, even if one of your ninja in the group is a sensor. As we've all come to know and love, shunshin is an incredibly fast movement. Even for someone who can pick up chakra, it'd be more like them just appearing there.

Hand in hand with that, the "whip" (for lack of a better word) would probably hit everyone before they realized how to properly evade. It's not like you'd have time to tell them exactly where the assault was coming from. With that being said, considering his clone is behind you guys, the attack wouldn't smash into the gate. It'd be going outward, away from the gate.

Essentially, all of your ground-based-guards are history. The dude who was on the top of the gate is safe, though.

PS: I'm also going to clear up the situation with Masumi and Tyro, while I'm posting.

Akio's strike hit, he was sure as his eyes watched intently on the Iwa village's invader. Unfortunately for him, no later that his eye's confirmed the strike, he was taken unawares. From the side came the attack, taking Akio's lower right side, under his ribcage. Lightning, sticking to him almost as an adhesive and dealing however many volts of damage to him. The Samurai armor, he would have noted if he were able to be so conscious) did virtually nothing to protect him as the metal allowed the electricity to further do him harm.

Not much sooner than it started the attack stopped. Akio's mind was nearly as frozen as his muscles, paralyzed from the shock, though his mouth still giving a grizzly yell in pain. His legs buckled immediately as the lightning stopped, unable to support him. He lay flat, directly in front of the gates, not much a distance away. Unable to do anything but think, Akio awaited whatever fate had prepared for him.

The lightning blades Akio had the mental capability to follow, at least knowing they were present. Luckily, the blades whisked by him, his body lying on the hard earth floor, the claws had not been aimed directly at him to do damage. He felt the chakra move above him, but without injury, striking further into the village before dissipating.

All remaining Shunshin [10/10] would allow the real me to disappear deep into the canyon and away from the scene in the blink of an eye, choosing to end my conquest of Iwa a bit earlier than expected. I had been afflicted enough to opt for a regrouping - it seemed the Samurai's chakra projectile indeed struck. Despite it's lack of lethality, the internal damage suffered was enough to change my plans. However, this did not end my presence there - my clone, much closer to the gates and thus supremely aware of its surroundings - would act in my name.

Atop the fortified gates of Iwagakure shadowed the figure of a man whose presence had yet to demand any of the combatant's attention, his countenance shielded by regalia. At his side stood a trusted guard who had been informed of the situation at hand, along with the necessary protocol

His eyes, lit with a crimson glow, took note of the the new intruder. He would not get his way. Though his chakra dwindled, the clone's resolve did not - before he could even complete his approach, the Shadow Clone's strike came forth, hoping his final remaining internal energy would support his will. Guided by that crimson evil eye, the cutters could be directed in a predictive flight, aimed to consume the guard's intended travel path and much of his vital organs before he could circumvent the real me.

Before he could attempt to disrupt the guard's pursuit, five dopplegangers composed of rock would form all around him, aiming to constrict his movements, particularly those of his arms and legs, by any means necessary. At the moment that occurred, The Tsuchikage would project a kunai at whatever piece of the clone would be exposed, most likely the head, while they constrained him. This should have been enough to put an end to him, and if not there was another guard standing beside the Shadow waiting to take action. This left the question of whether the actual offender would be able to escape. The guard "Tsuchi" had dispatched was one of his best, one that more than likely possessed the skills necessary to pursue the offender and prevent his escape. He held valuable knowledge about Iwagakure's whereabouts and because of this, the guard had been informed to not allow him to escape with it. The rudimentary nature of the Body Flicker Technique made it common within the ranks of the Kage's guard unit and thus, it was nothing for him to execute the same movements to pursue his target. And the moment he became visible would determine where he would act from there. Description: The basis behind the majority of Doton techniques lie in the user's ability to control the very earth around them. 'Earth Dominion' is just as its name implies, a fundamental supplementary jutsu of Doton nature that allows the user to intermingle their chakra with that of nature, harmonizing the two in order to create complete control over the earth around them. Once this link is achieved, the door is opened for greater creations to be made. Domain: Doton. Those affected will have their movement inhibited, suffering from reduced speeds and reaction. When re-learned, the user increases the number of clones they can make by 5; this maxes out when the user reaches 50 clones. Description: A simple elemental clone technique, this let’s the user create a default number of five mud based clones for his command. Coming forth from an earth or mud source, the clones are basic and meant primarily for distraction and restriction. Genbu apparently wiped his hands clean of the thread and gave all rights to Axcel, but I've sent the both of them the stats and equipment I wanted the pursuing guard to have just in case. Considering his injuries, I don't think it'd be entirely unfathomable for my guard to catch up with him. This is due to the nature of the "crime" against the village. The sudden "exit" and "reappearance" grants Uchiha Faust dominion over Iwagakure's position which, after a village defense, seems very risky. He can basically just lead his troops to attack us anytime he wants because of his knowledge (whether he intends to or not is not the point).

Upon scaling the gate and reaching its peak, the scene Kaye and Shoggy were met with was... grim, to say the least.

They'd heard the commotion whilst walking past the gate, and had rushed to scene as quick as possible, but to Kaye's eyes the altercation seemed to have reached its climax. They were too late.

Crumpled forms of human beings littered the ground at the foot of the large entranceway, all of them bearing the headband of Iwagakure. Besides the Tsuchikage and a few guards, it looked like Stone had taken heavy losses. There was only one other opponent left, it seemed, and the remaining guards and the Tsuchikage had its attention.

"Medic! We need a medic!" Kaye cried out in the general direction of the village, and then with a brief nod to Shoggy, she jumped off the top of the gate. Her feet fastening to the sheer side of the gate through chakra, she sprinted down its surface, then softly leaped the remaining distance to the ground.

A quick glance informed the combat medic that it was too late for the legless guards. Too much blood loss in too short an amount of time. Her priorities were the wounded samurai and the woman. As she ran toward them, she managed to give a curt nod of respect to the Tsuchikage.


Always the faster of the two, Shoggy raced past Kaye as she knelt to examine the samurai. No doubt he was attempting to pick up on the scent that he didn't recognize, the scent of a foreigner. The dog sniffed at a small puddle of blood, then barked at her. He'd found the foreigner, and judging by his scent, he was both relatively close, not more than a few hundred meters, and weakened.

"Go track him down, kill him if he fights back. I'll catch up to you when I'm done here." She said. The dog barked an affirmative, then sprinted off away from the gate.

In the mean time, Kaye focused on the injured man. In a moment, she would be able to tell if he was beyond her abilities, or still savable.

I'm also going to attempt to prevent Fina's exit from the thread. Not only is he relatively far, 4 shunshins+maybe 6 seconds of all out running would net him a head-start of like 100 meters maximum, which is barely the length of a single football field, but he's also wounded to the point where, at least according to BM's he can barely fight, meaning he won't be able to move with any meaningful speed for very long. My Dog Shoggy has his scent, which means as long as he's within like a mile of him, Shoggy can track him to the ends of the earth, and a full grown Inuzuka dog can quite probably run faster and far longer then a man that isn't using some passive speed buff, much less an injured one. So, ultimately I think its only a very, very brief matter of time, before Fina is caught-up to by Shoggy and the NPC guard.

I was asked to post in here so. . .

At the time of Jae's entrance, Faust ends up being roughly 50 meters away from the gates themselves (40 meters from his nearest attacker). It's unlikely that the guard Ue had sent would have been to go from the gates being able to close that gap if he was going around the skirmish and attempting to get behind Faust in a single round. Since the guard avoided the skirmish instead of cutting straight through, him being 30 meters away from Faust at the end of the round seems reasonable. Faust then flickers away six times--making him 110ish meters away from the gates.

Jae, for future reference, don't leave it up to the BM to specify how many flickers it would take for you to catch up. That's entirely on you. Although you do have enough to catch up, you'll only use six flickers because that's how many Faust used.

While discussing other, irrelevant information, I realized a critical error with Jae's post. In your intro, you've stated that you were atop of the gates, which is 20 meters tall. In an earlier post, it was already established that Faust's clones were "12 meters away from them all" (them being the defenders), and unless their backs are pressed to the doors of the gates, its safe to say that Faust's clone is at minimum >15 meters away from the gates themselves. You only have C-rank Earth Dominion--meaning it only has 20 meter radius. Knowing this, there's no way for the clones to spawn around him. Since you're 20 meters high, which is your max radius, then they'd spawn at the bottom of the gates roughly 15 meters away from Faust. Since you didn't have the guard react to the Kage Bunshin's attack under the assumption that your clones+yourself would deal with him, and ended up being incorrect, the guard ends up taking a critical hit from the attack and will need immediate medical attention.

That being said, at the time of Exar's entrance, Faust is 110 meters from the gate with nobody near him as well as six seconds ahead in the process of disappearing into the valley. As far as I'm concerned, Faust's exit is succesful (though your dog can still track him--but in another thread).

Tyro--it's your post, and your in the process of dying. You'll need Exar (luckily he's a medic) to treat your wounds immediately if you hope to survive. Or he can ditch you to improve his chances of stopping Faust--his choice. After Tyro it'll be Faust's turn describing his critical hit and what not.

Indeed. Kyuuden was no joke, especially while fired under the precision of the Sharingan eye. And, while my opponent chose to react to my clone by creating clones some distance away, he'd easily tear the pursuing guard down, ten cutters comprised of fierce lightning tearing him to shreds. Now, while he was presumed dead and the others remained at bay, I would have long escaped the battle, Shunshin removing me from this fray. Amongst the blood I made one vow - to be back, and to finish.

At the moment that occurred, The Tsuchikage would project a kunai at whatever piece of the clone would be exposed, most likely the head, while they constrained him.

I, or rather my clone, would act as the unrestrained party, making their ample distance and his free will to move and see more than enough to move away from the kunai; he slanted to the left, at least 6 meters away from the aerial projectile while being at least 10 meters away from those clones. If there was any life left in it,it'd do its best to detain the dog from ever leaving this area - would a slash do...?

In a word: no. To an animal bred for the war, such a telegraphed attack was far from beyond dodging.

The animal did not even break stride as it leaped over the clone's slash and kept going, clearing the gate perimeter in record time. In moments it was gone, following the wounded man's scent to wherever it might lead.

Kaye recognized the burns across his face, and the damage to his armor. The attack had been electrical in nature, and had been powerful to blacken his skin and melt his clothing. A small presence in the back of her head questioned her ability to treat him on the field. If the man was as wounded as she assumed, his treatment would most likely be beyond her. She was a combat medic, not a miracle worker! All the same, her sense of duty kept her rooted the spot at the man's side. She was jittery, but her resolve was strong.

Moving nervously but with a purpose, the medicae drew a kunai and cut away the bindings holding the upper chest plate of the man's body armor and stripped it off of him, revealing his semi-burned away under-garment. It was bad, she thought to herself as she examined his wounds. There was no doubt that he was dying. The intensity of the shock meant that many of his organs were probably damaged. He'd be suffering from internal bleeding, and his heart would most probably be in the process of undergoing atrial fibrillation, if it hadn't already stopped.

Kaye pressed her index and middle finger to the side of the man's neck, and knelt down to put her ear against his chest. His heart was still beating, though faintly, but the rate was erratic, horribly erratic. His heart was indeed fibrillating, and coupled with the internal damage it would most likely fail in moments.

Urgency giving a false confidence to her psyche, Kaye formed handseals and pressed her hands to the man's chest, intending to pump some anesthesia into his system. As she prepared to focus the chakra from her hands to his body, though, she had a change of heart and pulled away. There wasn't time for anesthesia, not to inject enough to make a difference. For now he would have to simply deal with the shocking treatment like a man. Though, speaking of shock...

Almost for pure sake of proving her point, the man's body shuddered violently, then stopped moving completely. His chest stopped rising and falling, his eyes stopped moving beneath his eyelids, and his brain stopped sending electrical impulses to the frayed nerves in his hands that made them twitch of their own volition. His heart had stopped, and he was clinically dead.

"Fuck!"

Kaye was sweating now, but instinct was beginning to kick in, and emotionally she wasn't really feeling anything at all. Her hands came together once again and folded repeatedly in the shapes of various handseals. Her hands glowing with a luminescent blue outline, she began to knead her palms into the man's chest, using her anatomical knowledge to focus the healing chakra into his damaged organs. She couldn't be sure which ones were damaged to the point of shut down, but time did not allow her to be picky and find out. A man could survive for several minutes without oxygen, but the name of the game was to prevent as much brain damage as possible, and the longer it would take to bring the man's heart back, the more damage he would sustain.

As she worked the chakra into him, she could feel it performing its magic. New cells were created from nothing at a prodigious rate, healing the burned out hole in his collapsed lung. The chakra staunched the flow of blood from his kidneys, lungs, heart, liver and stomach lining. Kaye moved her hands slightly, and the chakra traveled through his circulatory system, repairing the thousands of microscopic burns that lined it.

While her healing hands technique was not mastered enough to allow her to heal he terrible wounds fully, Kaye was skilled enough in the art to work on a grand scale. From his nervous system to his respiratory system and beyond, the medic discharged her chakra through his body. As she worked, though focused on the job at hand, something she had thought of earlier was nagging at the back of her mind.

Now at the point of no return, Kaye decided to try and provide a jump start to the man's heart. She focused chakra to her stinging hands and placed them both right where the heart would be, under the skin. She counted under her breathe, and with a flex of the hand, an electrical shock traveled instantly from her body to his heart, surprising his nervous system and making him jump slightly.

Kaye pressed her head to his chest and listened. Nothing. Again. Jump. Listen. Nothing. Again. High-pitched whining sound, phup! Jump. Listen. Nothing. Again. Jump. Nothing. Again...

For over a minute. And then, a high-pitched whining sound, a phup!. A cough.

His eyes fluttered and his chest rose. Her ear to his chest provided the proof that his heart was beating. For a full minute and a half, the man had been clinically dead. Now he was alive. Not even close to being fine, but stable, and alive.

The sobriety of the situation beginning to recede, Kaye sighed and sank down to her knees, allowing her ankles to give out from under her. Her hands were tingling at her side from all the chakra that had moved through them in such a short time. She looked upward at the sky and closed her eyes, and a hand wiped away the sweat soaked blonde bangs that plastered her forehead.

"They didn't pay her enough for this."

She glanced down at the man.

He was shaking violently, practically convulsing. His eyes had rolled up past his eyelids, giving him a possessed look. He was in shock.

..."Fawck!"

It had been eating away at her, slowly taking little nibbles at a time from the depths of her subconscious. Something Kaye had forgotten to take into consideration. After the intense pain of the initial attack, it was almost textbook for the man to go into shock. If he hadn't then, then he certainly would have upon waking up from death, to the feeling of having every gland, every nerve, every fiber of his being feel like it had been lit on fire.

At the stage he was in, most of her usual tricks wouldn't cut it. The soft speech, the words of encouragement or the defibrillator shock. None of that would be helpful. But she had to do something; his heart couldn't take the stress while it was still weak, so Kaye did the only thing she could think of.

She slapped him. An open palmed slap.

"Don't die." She said simply, and slapped him again.

"You'd better not die-" Slap.

"Or else-" Slap.

"I'm gonna kick your ass!" Another slap.

She raised her hand, prepping for another strike, and noticed that he was no longer shaking. Color returned to his face and his chest moved. Had she done it?

"If you're not dying horribly from shock, nod your head."
