The techniques themselves are... strange, but not that complicated or scary (beyond their chakra costs, for the size of the objects being made, a mid of chakra is too low imo).

I have to ask, though. Purely for the sake of practicality, wouldn't it be easier to just make some kind of "miscellaneous object creation" jutsu, that allows you to make any object via doton, with up to X dimensions for X amount of chakra, and then scale the chakra cost to increase for bigger dimensions?

I suppose that is viable. However, I would be worried about being able to create constructs of such magnitude (20x20m) for reasonable chakra prices. I mentioned at the top of my first post, that all of these are subsequent to the Promontory Geometry technique, which is basically what allows these to be created. These techniques are really just paintings, and require no chakra cost- however to be used, require a mid amount of chakra. I figured that as Promontory Geometry had been accepted, and all paintings require admin approval, that these would be considered acceptable.

I'm going to be daring enough to say other than the fact that I love the aesthetics on this (to the point where I want to be a Kumo Sumi) that considering the costs on top of the parent jutsu, as well as all the EXP needed in Doton for the 2nd mastery effect and all....tis fine
