The suns Golden brilliance sprayed sporadically upon the country of fire as the sun sunk down into the nothing mountain, casting primordial sheets of darkness upon certain areas. But beneath this golden ambiance Gene walked, stepping through beds of near waist high undergrowth which parted at his feet with each advancing step. His steps had almost been mimicking his knee football drill all thanks to the grasses thickness, Hi no kuni was surely a boring and tedious place to travel.

"This isn't gonna work out as I expected, Ugh there must be an easier way to travel without wasting chakra."

Gene was always one to dwell within the cesspools of laziness, never willing to put forth an effort to do anything unless it was absolutely necessary. However, there were exceptions just like this one, where tedious traveling would get the better of him and tempts himself to use his prowess gelid arts to accelerate his gait of speed. His fingers soon converged onto one another, interlinking like a spiders web as he released a powerful yawn from his lungs and stretched his arms upwardly before having folded them behind his head.

"I wonder what lil'Kimoshiro could possibly doing right now. Eh probably off somewhere enforcing her unyielding determination. Honestly I cannot see how she does it, I mean life is cool and all but jeez, being serious all the time is tiring."

His sister was always his opposite, she was determined, never willing to back or give up, even in the presence of adversity and oppression, truly Gene's opposite. Though one big thing he feared about her was her anger, her tendency to lash out in violence when overrating to things, this truly scared Gene, well, seeing as how he'd be too lazy to defend himself more often then not.

His arms and hands grew limp suddenly, falling to his sides like aimless noodles as his head bobbed from profound boredom.

It had been like any other day in Hi no Kuni for Yuhwa; boring. These lands known for there usual abundance of Konoha Shinobi seemed to be lacking of late. She wondered if she would ever be able to meet a Konoha Shinobi one on one as she had plans for such a person. Sadly, this fortunate meeting had yet to occur and Yuhwa has been left alone to her thoughts for months. As amazing as it was, for months she had met no one of interest in these god forsaken lands. Could it be possible that all the most interesting people in the world had died? For Yuhwa, this was becoming less of a hypothesis and more of a fact as time went on. Truly, this place was probably the most boring place to be in the world or so she thought.

"Isn't there anyone interesting left in this wooooooooorld!?" Yuhwa shouted as she attempted to relieve her frustration. Who'd have thought it would be so darn difficult to find one interesting person in Hi no Kuni, one of the largest countries in the world. After unleashing her tantrum roar, she crouched down and wrapped her arms around her knees. "Mooh, maybe I should just head home." She thought to herself as she drew circles in the dirt with her right index finger.

Home -- now that word was something Yuhwa did not think of a lot. Home being Sunagakure, the village she grew up in and where her "loyalties" lied. It had been many months since she went home and her mind from time to time couldn't help but wonder what condition the village is in. Despite being gone from her village for months, she was still a loyal Suna nin. She was just taking an extremely long leave of absence which might or might not have placed the idea into the Kazekage's mind that she had "abandoned." And so her mind began to ponder over the idea that maybe it was about time for her to rejoin her kinsman.

That is until she noticed a figure moving by from the corner of her left eye. Looking to the left, Yuhwa noticed a man walking in a fashionably lazy slouch. For a moment, she couldn't help but think he too would be another boring individual and would be nothing more than a waste of time. However, since she contemplated the thought of returning home, it couldn't hurt to interact with one last person. "Yo!" she'd call out to the stranger while still positioned in her crouch about 5 meters away. How would the stranger react? Whatever the case, it was one last adventure for Yuhwa before she'd head home.

With several steps and minutes of travel, finally, FINALLY, some kind of entertainment fell upon Gene as a voice called out to what could have only been him. Who else would it have been, he had not seen anyone since his little skirmish with that snake monk, and boy was that guy one big ass downer. The voice that called out to him with a very clear 'Yo' was one that beseemed a woman, soft, yet, aggressive and unimpressed. It was a tone that Gene was all to familiar with, as he too suffered from not meeting enough interesting people. Only two people he considered as such was his elder sister and Mentor, Asato. Confession? It may have seemed that Gene carried himself in a lazy, rudderless path, however, he was actually searching for someone, namely his Mentor. He hadn't even seen anyone else from Yukigakure since the war, and with him being fond and respectful to him, seeking him out was probably his main priority on his list of 'things-to-do'.

As that single word, 'Yo' cruised across tendrils and outstretched into his ears, his steps came to an abrupt halt, as his head whipped upwardly and to the side with little control. Standing at a side view, he caught sight a woman sitting down roughly 5 meters away from what he could judge. "Whoa...she's pretty freakin' cute." He thought, as his sanguine eyes fell upon her figure, sinful thoughts coursed through his mind like electricity through unending power lines. His body quickly turned, presenting the forefronts of his body to the girl before him as his hands uplifted to the plateau of his eyes. Soon after his digits formed and mimicked a photographic camera.

"Now that's a million dollar picture. Don't you agree?"

A teasing grin peaked itself at the left corner of his mouth as he spoke with a smooth tone of velvet, one that seemed to not befit his laziness which had been shown just a moment before.

Seeing as how this would be her last attempt at interacting with another person before heading home, she was hoping this man could hold a flicker of her interest. In meetings such as this, it all come down to first impressions. How this man would act to her simple greeting would determine whether he was a person capable of keeping her interest. But how would this man react? From his earlier movements, he didn't seem like someone very interesting due to his mannerism of walking.

Only moments after Yuhwa began to truly wonder if this stranger could entertain her a bit, he made his move. Watching as this man quickly changed from his depressed or lazy demeanor to what could be described as his real face, Yuhwa's own face formed into one of surprise and shock. It wasn't until he spoke and aimed a teasing grin at her did her mind begin to respond. She couldn't help but think to herself, "Oh my god. Wow. This guy is so . . . so . . . so laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame!" Words could not describe the utter horror that was being played out before her. Never before in her entire life had she met someone so lame. His words, his actions, everything about what he did made him the most lame and phony man she had ever laid eyes on.

Now, Yuhwa wasn't one to care about the emotions of another but in this case, she didn't just not care; she wanted him to know how she felt. "Ahahahahahahaha!" she cried out in uncontrollable laughter as her bottom hit the dirt and grass below; her legs sprawled out on the ground. Yuhwa was laughing so hard that both her arms were gripping at her stomach to ease the pain from laughing so much. Amazingly, she was able to spit out a few coherent words mid-laughter. Those words being "Could you be more lame?" Before she resumed with her laughter.

As his words came to an end, a brief pocket of silence swelled in-between the two as her facial expression seemed to have changed. Her eyes broadened and eyebrows furrowed in what seemed to be shock or surprise before she spoke in return. Much to his surprise, it wasn't exactly what he expected. Lame? what the fuck? How was he lame, this was impossible, it was somehow physical impossible, or so Gene thought. There was only one man cooler than he was in his own eyes and that was Asato, his mentor. So him being lame was never tolerated, however, she was a woman, what could he have really done but.....

"Heeey I'm not lame! thats pretty mean of you to saaay. You hurt my feelings."

Fictitious, salted tears, rolled aimlessly down Gene's face as his pride seemingly shattered from the girls hammering words. His arms flailed up and down, complimenting his distress as he spoke once more. But in the better seconds that passed, something happened, something that pierced his disgruntled facade. His eyes fell upon the girls headband (assume its somewhere visible) once his face washed over itself with a more curious and eager visage.

"You're from suna?! What the hell are you doing all the way out here?

His statement of inquiry was blunt indeed, but this was how Gene was raised, he knew no other way.

The more she tried to contain her laughter, the harder Yuhwa found herself laughing more and more. It was almost as if there was nothing in this world which could make her stop laughing at the actions of this man until she was able to see his reaction to her own. As tears ran down the mans face, her own face reverted back to that same old face of shock and surprise. Her mind, yet again, could not fathom what was taking place before her. "Is he seriously crying? What the hell?" she thought to herself as she watched in disbelief that there still existed such a weak man in this world. Just how had he come to survive in this age where the strong ate the weak confused Yuhwa, however, before she could finish her thoughts his demeanor quickly changed. In her mind, too quickly.

". . . huh?" was her only reaction to his question as it confounded her how he knew she was from Suna until her mind came to realize what he was talking about. Her left hand lifted from her stomach and gently moved atop her head where her hand laid upon not hair but something metallic; a headband. "Crap." See, the headband atop her head represented an idea -- an idea that had formulated in her head not too long ago after her last social meeting. Yuhwa, for whatever reason, believed she might garner a greater reaction from another by revealing herself to be a Suna nin. Thus, the headband came into play when in reality her only identification was a small Suna symbol located on a small crest on her ribbon located on the back of her head.

With a part of her identity revealed to this man, she'd have no choice but to continue interacting with him. She'd use this last endeavor to test out her theory; to see if she truly would be able to garner a greater reaction from another with her identity of being a Suna nin revealed. "Yep, I'm from Suna. I'm on an extended leave of absence. Shinobi take vacations too, you know." she would answer to the lad about the same age as her before rising from the ground. Once on her feet, her hands moved to brush off the dirt on the backside of her skirt before resting on their respective side of her waist.

"Leave of absence? Ninja can do that now?"

It'd been a good while since Gene had slept or even lived within a village, and even when he did most of his time-when not on missions- was spent within the village walls of Yukigakure. Holding a deathless sense of loyalty and trueness to his home and his mentor Asato, he hadn't known that leaves of absences were allowed, and if they were, perhaps it was just because of him being a mere genin. Nevertheless he wasn't one to leisurely leave his village, but that would make him a hypocrite given the scratch upon his head band wouldn't it? It would, however, there's a story behind that, but a story for a much later time. All that needed to be known was the he had been looked for a man named Asato Len'autre.

He keenly watched over her as she picked herself up from the rough land through a narrow, scrutinizing, crimson gaze as the airs about him began to stir with sharp maleficence, instantly changing his facial expression and demeanor all within an instant. He reached inside his leather coat, fishing around with a fumbling hand, only to retrieve and outwardly hold a Yukigakure head band with the mark of 'abandonment'. He held it out long enough for the girl to examine it had she taken interest in it or merely acknowledged it for that matter.

"Have you ever seen a brown haired man with a headband heavily similar to this one by the name of Asato Len'autre?!

He knew the probability of the girl before him knowing his former-no, his mentor was less than 10% if not zero itself. But he needed to try, he needed to pinpoint his location, because with his sister missing and mentor MIA, he was nothing more than a wandering dog. However, he did all possible things to hid this from others.

Much to her surprise, it seemed by revealing herself to be a Suna Nin, she did indeed get a better response from this man she spoke to who's name she did not know. Almost like sea, the expressions of this man changed ever so rapidly to the point she questioned whether he possessed any real emotions at all. Seeing as how he constantly shifted in emotion, there was no way Yuhwa could every fully trust this man but it did spike her interest a bit. There was only one reason she even remotely cared what this man did and that is because he is similar to herself. This demeanor she wore and showed to others is but a ruse; a lie. Deep down, her actions are made solely for her own benefits and not those of others. She had no qualms about killing anyone as long as it benefit her in some way.

The thought of killing this man did cross her mind but such actions were held back by her desire; desire to test her theory. Soon, her ideas of killing him faded when he revealed a slashed headband to her. This mere item had peaked her interest and she wanted to know more about this man and where he resided from. This was not the first Nuke she had run across but it was the first Nuke from Yukigakure that she came across. From his words, she could already garner that the headband he held either belonged to himself as he seek someone with a similar headband thus the chances of the current band being his were the highest.

This being the first Nuke Snow Nin she had ever met, it was obvious she could not help this man in his search but he didn't know that. Yuhwa had obvious reasons to be interested in the Nuke and she couldn't just let him walk away so easily. Almost instinctively, her mind formulated an idea; a lie. "I have seen a band similar to yours but not for a very long time. The last I laid eyes upon such an object was back home." Yuhwa could have easily said "Sunagakure" and not "home" but she had another idea. By allowing him to think over what she said, he'd formulate his own ideas and reasons to distrust her. By making him distrust her, his actions would be easier to predict as all moves he made would likely conflict with her own -- and there was many reasons for him to distrust her.

For a Shinobi to take an "extended" leave of absence is suspicious enough cause who had heard of Shinobi taking vacations. Then there was also the ambiguous mention of "home." What exactly did she mean by that? Did home not refer to Sunagakure or perhaps her home was really another village? Everything Yuhwa spoke held half-truths and half-lies making it easy for others to distrust her. Surely, this man before her would too lest he be a fool.

Silver eyes scattered blandly across the mountain tops. The forest ahead gave little breathe to the sunlight that loomed overhead; Its' tendrils of heat whipping at the back of the terrain. My feet stepped to and fro loosely just like danzo whom tapped on the lower part of my leg as I progressed in steps. Hands dripped with ebony liquids as my fingertips grazed the bronzed edges of the mountains cavernous plain. My eyes dare not stop within their belligerent dance amongst the brim edges of the horizon and back. I had been through shit on this journey and ended up losing more than I’d won, I was tired and pissed. One thing was for sure though.. I was going to get back what I needed. My orange locks feverishly looped down pointing towards the ground as my steps became heavier.

I stalked a bit within the shade to calm my nerves.. I needed to rethink my plan on taking konoha’s scrolls. So far my partner had died and now I had to go back to Sayuri empty handed. I wonder what she’d say after my return. I told her I would be back but there was no guarantee she would have waited for me. I’d come to a halt at the frontal entrance of the forest from the mountainous plain after hearing a disturbance of chatter amongst the thick trees. Their voices echoed with a bellowing sonorous that scattered from tree to tree back into my lobes. I moved swiftly but silently to a destination very close to them. My senses spiked at the ready because I had just been through a storm of shinobi after my tail. I needed to stay silent until finding an opportune moment to show my face.

I angled myself behind a female who bore a ribbon as a bow for her hair… it bore the mark of sunagakure. She stood in front of another person I could not see directly, I could only depict his image through his voice. ‘hmm..’ I pondered after stroking my chin remembering the genin I had just slain - he was too of sunagakure. My figure remained crouched behind the tree right behind her keeping silent incase anything strange were to occur.

She saw a band similar to his?! What news! It immediately satiated Gene with joy as his insides began to twist and fold, but his visage and body language refused to express such excitement and good news. As easy as flicking a light switch had Gene's demeanor shifted once more, but this time to the one he held when he initially spoke to the girl. Gene was always this way, even towards Asato-not really-, always knavishly cycling through a series of expressions and moods to throw others off from predicting his movements and thoughts in both battle and casual talk. It was just his twisted means of having fun with others, and when two people of the same assortments, it was easy to pick them out among others.

But dont' misunderstand his excitement, it by all means meant not that he instantly believed the words that convincingly spilled from her lungs, nay, but instead he'd play along with her game. He assessed each word that came from her with quizzical ears, honing in on different key words that could prove her to be a liar or one who speaks the truth, or maybe a shady truth, it was hard to tell. At least from Gene's own cunning perspective.

"Back home eh, sounds nice. Whats it called? "

His sanguine eyes hid themselves behind closed as his head careened to the side every so slightly as his tongue flit with a guided politeness. Holding his band within his hand he slid it back into his coats inner pocket before shoving said hand into his pants pocket on its respective side.

Reading another person came natural to Yuhwa as she had been doing it her entire life. By reading into what a person might be thinking or will do, she was able to manipulate an assortment of people including her own Kage. This man, however, was almost annoyingly difficult to read but not for reasons such as him hiding his mind. No, in her mind it felt all too chaotic for his mind to be something as simple as a locked vault. The sensations she felt pulsing from his very being spoke a different story; a lost one. To her, it wasn't as if this man was difficult to read cause he hid his true self away but rather, he didn't know what that "true self" is. She felt as if even he didn't know what his true face was anymore and perhaps the person he seek held the answer to such a question.

Before she could venture further into her own thoughts, however, the presence of another caught her attention. With her snake-like tongue, she was able to smell and taste particles in the air to constantly be aware of her surroundings. With her abilities, she could easily tell that another had entered the area as he reeked of blood, metal, and other Shinobi smells. Yuhwa, being one who didn't take too kindly to being stalked, immediately made her move by moving her right hand to her mouth and placing her index finger over her lips. Winking at the Snow nin, her lips formed the same shape as if she were telling someone "Shhhh."

Simultaneously as this occurred, a snake slithered its way from beneath the front of her blouse before moving down her leg. The snake moved perfectly with her own curves as to hide it completely from the being who resided somewhere behind her. Yuhwa had already gained the location of the unknown person due to the vibrations her skin was able to gather due to his every movement. Using this knowledge, her snake made its way into the ground and toward the man who hid behind the tree behind her.

As to not raise suspicion, Yuhwa continued her conversation with the Snow nin while waiting for her snake to get into position to strike. "Home? Home is Sunagakure, silly. Where else would it be?" Where else would her home be if not Sunagakure since she was a Suna Nin after all. The moment her lips stopped moving would be the moment the snake made its move by wrapping itself around the strangers neck with uncanny strength and speed. During her conversation, the snake had silently made its way out from beneath the soft dirt and laid directly behind the Nuke(Sohyo). Already in a prime position to strike, its attack was too fast or sudden for escape to be possible.

Once assured her prey had been caught, five more snakes would shoot out from her sleeves and move to further restrain the man before pulling him in. "Well, well. What do we have here? A little mouse stalking a snake?" she would say to the captured Nuke while stepping on his face with her left leg should he be caught.

I couldn’t wait any longer. This seemed as an opportune moment in their conversation to show my face. The snakes would break out of the earth as my steps hastened up the tree I had been standing behind. With a slight jump my body would have been sent in a diagonal arc over the two shinobi. By the time they’d noticed something were in the air I’d have landed towards the side five meters from both. “My name is Fugo Cho Eigo. I am of the village of kusa and I come in peace,” I’d say whilst twirling the kunai around in my pocket. You could never be too sure when you were the third party of the group. My senses stayed at the ready as did my chakras.

I am not interested in battle at this point. I noted some debris of cut wood that tattered the ground we all stood on, more close to my figure than anyone else’s - objects of replacement. We were in a direct patch of sunlight where everything else behind seemed rather lurid and decadent. I had business with these two shinobi and I needed their help in my quest for the scrolls, but I couldn’t let them know that just yet. “ I’ve come long and far from the lands of kusa. I have come here to obtain a leaf-ninja headband so that I may take what is mine. There are some important scrolls that belong to me in the hokage’s tower and I wish to obtain them without blood being spilled. I would be willing to pay if any of you could help”

In the element of surprise all things were possible right here and now. I just hoped this scenario would not turn out like the last one I’d come from. My figure remained immobile incase I were attempted to be slain at this very moment. Silver hues kept locked upon their silhouettes.

Gene stood at a more advantageous angle than his incognito counterpart, his keen gaze caught sight of the girls slithering pets sifting through the undergrowth like, well, snakes in grass! Anterior to that action, her index finger pinned itself upon her puckered lips, a signal of silence directed towards Gene, and instantly he followed suit. Though he held a insurmountable prowess over arctic magic, his senses were still that of an average shinobi, unable to reach the plateau of perceptual sensing that snakes, sharks, and even toads could. His face, body, even his the rate of his pumping heart, all failed to falter, refusing to show any sign of alertness and alarm that could have possibly given away the girls warning about a potential onlooker.

Both Gene and the woman before him went about their exchanging of words as though nothing had been going on. She called him silly, after having confirmed that her home was in fact sunagakure. Some weight of relief faded from his shoulders. "So she wasn't lying after all huh." He thought to himself for a quick second as the gears of his mind were hard at work, wondering if the other part of her statement had been the actual lie, about actually seeing a band such as his of course. Truth be told there was no evidence behind her claim, so there was only one possible way to surely find out about it. He'd simply have to follow the girl back home, he had no choice given that this was his one and only lead to finding Asato, but that was if she'd even allow him to tag along.

It only took his mind a few seconds to concoct a suitable answer, however, before his words could meet the light of the conversation, the girls snakes must have reached their desired target as fast pitter-patter crawled along a nearby tree, alerting Gene than he already was before. However, this time it was enough to induce curiosity thus earning the right to fall victim to his attention and everything else that came with it. Atecedent to his landing, Gene saw him arc over the two as eyes followed the man like an eagle would its food. In an instant frigid tendrils of air and water formed beneath his feet, giving him a sliding effect that boosted his speed had he decided or needed to move. Mind you, his arctic display would have remained hidden -unless they had chakra identifying abilities- as his feet had been buried beneath the areas undergrowth.

With eyes having followed the man, he glanced over his form as he spoke something about needing a leaf head band and 'willing to pay'. Well this is all what only registered in Gene's mind at least. With both respective parties saying what they had to say, it was gene's turn.

Description: A simple ninjutsu meant to exploit the Hyouton user's skills, this technique allows the shinobi to essentially cut their travel time down in half. After a few simple seals, wind and water come together below the user's feet, creating a fast moving sheet of ice which the user rides on as if it were a surfing board.

Yuhwa was not one to be caught off guard and in this situation where she already knew there was an intruder, she'd not be caught unprepared by this man. With her vibration sensitivity technique still active, she'd easily be able to know when the unknown intruder moved and even where he'd land via his jump. It was not hard to determine his point of landing by knowing his speed and angle of trajectory; both of which Yuhwa possessed. The moment the man made his move by ascending a tree, she'd withdraw her snake and move it back toward her body while at the same time summoning another snake from between her legs. The first snake moved its body so that the body was hidden by the right side of her body while the second snake is hidden by her left leg. With the addition of the tall undergrowth around them, it'd be near impossible for the stranger to know what had been going on.

By the time the stranger landed upon the ground 5 meters away from her, both snakes were already hiding beneath the ground near him. One resided behind him and to the right while the second hid directly behind his body; both several feet away. Yuhwa was not one to take too kindly to being stalked and thus this Kusa-Nin who had introduced himself and proposed an offer would not be treated kindly.

"Mister Yuki-Nin, I have no qualms with you following me to Suna but I cannot guarantee you will find what you are searching for." Again, Yuhwa did not miss how this Yuki-Nin had changed from one personality to another in a near instant. Though she and this man resembled one another in that they hid their real faces, that was the extent of the similarities. Where this man chose to constantly change face, she did not. Her method was to stick to one mask and see how people reacted to it before making she'd reveal her true intentions. This mask she wore presented herself as a half-cute yet half-deadly girl who enjoyed the womanly pleasures but a large distaste for womanly displeasure; Femme Fatale if you so wish to call it that. This nature of hers was not too far from her real face which made it that much harder to tell she is faking most of it as all are half-truths and half-lies.

Once done answering her new friend, she'd turn her attention to the Kusa-Nin who appeared on the scene. She'd have one thing and only one thing to say to the stranger -- "I don't like being stalked." Almost immediately after she finished talking, the snake that resided to the Kusa-Nins back right side would erupt from the ground and attempt to wrap itself around him. Should it be able to, his arms would be rendered immobile and the snakes head would be looming around the left side of his head; fangs flared. "Now, I'll have you tell me what you really want. A hidden village would not steal the scrolls of one man lest he be infamous. And I've yet to see your mug on a most wanted list."

Yuhwa was not dumb. She already knew what this other Shinobi wanted from Konoha and it was from his very own words that she discovered his goal. Scrolls -- there was no way a village would steal the scrolls of a lone man, thus it was not that he wanted to retrieve his own belongings but rather steal the belongings of another. And the only scrolls of value in Konoha were the Hidden Village Scrolls.

Description: An advaced version of Senei Jashu, the Kagehebi now controls a massive amount of snakes at once in order to subdue their opponent. As before, once the user's hand is extended in the direction of their target, a torrent of snakes erupt from the sleeve and manifest onto the chosen target. Once extended the snakes can wrap around and bite into the target to hold and bind them.

Description: According to research, some snakes possess the ability to effectively tunnel into the dirt where they create dens to live in. This technique is based off the snakes ability to tunnel by allowing either the user or their summoned snake companions to tunnel through the ground at high speeds. This ability is useful in pulling off attacks on an unsuspecting for or helping the user to escape dangerous situations.

Special: Allows the user to feel the vibrations in the air and ground to detect any movement in their vicinity. Technique requires a cooldown period equal to amount of turns skill was active.
Description: Snakes, using their scales, are able to pick up the vibrations in the air and ground to allow them to detect creatures in the area. Using a special and complex system of inner resonances, they are able to differentiate between vibrations in the air and ground to allow them to anticipate the movement of prey or predator. The Kage-Hebi with their snake-like constitution are able to replicate this skill to eliminate the chance of being caught off-guard. It also effectively grants them a pseudo-360 degree view of what is going on around them.
