Experience, Trait Points, and Ryo

On NRP, character progress is heavily dependent on your activity. As long as you roleplay, you will be rewarded.

The amount that you contribute can tip the scale toward faster progress, but that's entirely up to you. Just being here to write, in any capacity, will always earns you something.

While journeying through the ninja world, characters will accumulate experience (EXP), trait points (TP), and Ryo.

These point systems and how they apply to your character is detailed in the posts below.

◀ Gaining EXP, TP, and Ryo

Every in-character (IC) post you make earns 1 EXP for your character.

▶ Missions offer characters rewards of EXP, TP, Ryo, or any combination of these depending on their rank.

▶ Bounties are optional missions for the players themselves. They reward players with faster character progression, in exchange for fleshing out the in-game world by filling needed positions, or helping out the site in general

▶ EXP is used to purchase your character's Abilities; their jutsu.

▶ TP is used to purchase your Traits; the gifts and qualities your character has about your character.

▶ Ryo is used to purchase your character's Equipment.

Think of EXP and TP as the player's currency (out-of-character), and Ryo as the character's currency (in-character).
