I said as we made our way down the road. Having hoped to gather some level of intel on the intentions of Blanche, this answer left me still guessing. There was a multitude of reasons why she wished to patrol the exams -- not that her choosing one of the Hidden Villages didn't have just as many reasons. For one, I could assume she wished to spectate the exams so that she had information on the tests for the time she would be taking them. On the other hand, she could just be scouting out the security to perform some heinous act. Whatever the case may be, I would find out her true intentions when the time arises but for now, I will settle with trusting her desire for a World Map.

"The Genin, ehh? Well, if my timing serves me well the exams should still be in the first stage. We should be able to make it there by the time the second sta--"

Before I could finish my sentence, a resounding CRACK! would immediately gain my attention. Now, this sound could have come from anything -- usually a small animal but living in a world abundant with Shinobi, I was taught to never ignore my surroundings. And on this occasion, I'd answer a random occurring sound with a random act of intimidation/unnecessary violence.

At nearly the same time the CRACK! reached my ears would my right arm shoot for the massive weapon upon my back. In a single smooth motion, I'd pivot my body in the direction the sound came from by sliding my left foot back while simultaneously drawing my Empath. A single step forward with my right leg and straight from a drawn motion, my weapon moved into a vertical slice aimed at the tree the cracking sound originated from. However, with the tree being many meters away, it'd look entirely ridiculous to others that my mere 6 foot long weapon would reach said tree. That would be the case for any normal melee fighter but for a Samurai such as myself, the task is simple. By channeling chakra into my weapon, I formed a temporary extension of my own weapon in the form of a chakra blade as thick as my own weapon; expanding 12 meters in length. In addition to my weapons natural length and my fully extended arm, this blade would have just enough length to tear my target -- the tree -- in half.

"Show yourself or next time I will not miss!"

Description: As its name implies, this variation to the Chakra Form Manipulation grants the samurai the ability of enhancing a plain, solid weapon with chakra extensions. The couple would soon move along the path that would hopefully lead them to Tetsu no kuni, and in all honesty, she hoped that it wouldn’t be too long until they would reach it- ”It’d be interesting to see exactly what kind of kids the newest generation has to offer.” With hushed tones would she say this but, continuing to walk, her mind would soon be placed elsewhere, as they would look at the trees around her. They had been walking for long now, although what would happen next would be the least of her worries as it would soon be revealed that the duo now seemed to change in to a trio, as someone seemed to make themselves quite obvious to the two of them.

CRACK! ”….!”

The sound ringing through her ears her baby blue eyes would shoot towards the direction it had come from to see a black haired male, his appearance much like the samurai who she was travelling with. He seemed to have some trouble within some branches, and due to the nature of where he was standing, she could but guess that he was either peeping, or on their tails, perhaps to collect some boundies. Both suggestions she wasn’t too fond of hearing, so her distaste for the current situation would be easily summed up in the words; ”What’re you doing, short-ass?” of course- He hadn’t been short from what she could tell from his slightly twisted frame within the tree- He was quit tall actually, taller than her at least. But, this name, was meant to mock him, of course.

But just what he was doing? A look of confusion and annoyance weighed on her soft, feminine face, one quite ill-fitting of it, although, anger seemed to suit her. As her response was relatively peaceful, her arms still crossed and not budging, it would seem that her travelling partner had other ideas as his weapon would spring forwards by his command and gather up enough power to lengthen its own extended blade- A samurai, eh? It would seem as if he seemed to be condoning peace rather than supporting it. However, she couldn’t really blame him- She enjoyed kicking the shit out of people when she wanted to but, this guy deserved one chance to explain his actions, and, upon seeing the look upon him, she would move forwards towards him, but stand a total of ten meters away, her judging look piercing his puny face.

”I’d like to know why you were following us.
It’s never nice to be stalked.”

She would tell him in the nicest tone that she could produce, however, it still sounded as if she was pissed off with him- Which she was, but she tried not to make it too obvious. She was fully aware of her appearance and, maybe she had simply caused him to fall out of the tree from sheer shock of seeing her beauty? Maybe! Such ideas moved through her mind but all in all they needed to find out why he was where he was. Of course, within Hi no kuni, the place was populated and the people like rabbits so they would probably find people, but how long had he been there? A good question it was.

My eyes opened wide as sweat began to leak from all pores, nervousness overtaking me as the man drew his massive blade. I almost chuckled, however, as I saw him merely standing there, swinging his blade towards me. How futile his efforts must have been! Evidently he had some kind of eye problem, a little trouble with depth perception, perhaps? Though this stifled laughter wasn't meant to last long, as suddenly from his blade a blue aura projected forth, easily reaching the wooden post from which I hung.

I threw my legs up into the air, catching a glimpse as I turned over in the air of the chakra. It swung where my legs had previously been, striking the tree and passing through with ease. As I continued my swinging from branches, I leaped catawampus from the arbor, due to the tree falling from its position. The blade had cut easily through the wooden exterior and interior, tearing it apart as the canopy came crashing to the earth.

I roughly landed about eight meters away from the due, my left hand out before me, palm outstretched, as my right hand dipped into my robe, holding tightly onto the explosive clay. The tongue of my handmouth lightly licked at it; it had been a while since it'd been able to have the taste of this delicious clay! Watching the two as the woman spoke, I swallowed my fear, my eyes nervously shifting from one to the other. I was low on supplies, and I had the feeling these two were out of my league. Still, my handmouth moved hungrily for the clay, slightly nibbling it just for the sensation.

"I'm Masaru, of Kusa. I... I just saw your headband, is all."

"I'm Masaru, of Kusa. I... I just saw your headband, is all." Headband? Is he perhaps talking about Blanche's Shinobi headband which held the symbol for a village I've never heard of. In any case, I could make out a similar headband on the head of our mysterious guest. Seeing as how he says he comes from Kusa, I can only assume Kusagakure would be the name of the Hidden Village these two come from. Kusa? Kusa no kuni? Is that where their Hidden Village is located? Either way, perhaps I will be able to gain some further information on these two -- Blanche being my main interest.

Seeing as how Blanche was already giving the unknown Shinobi a verbal lashing, there wouldn't be a need for my to say anything. Placing my Empath onto my back, I took a few steps forward placing myself just behind Blanche to her left. By making myself known to Masaru -- if that is his name -- it should prevent him from doing anything heinous toward either of us.

With nothing to do but to act as a kinda silent bodyguard, I'd entertain myself with something I could not do before with Blanche having most of her attention on me. My eyes quickly shifted from Masaru to Blanche and from her golden hair down to her backside. Having been unable to look at it before, I have to agree -- with myself -- that it's bodacious. What was at first supposed to be a means of entertainment has taken all of my attention -- leaving the Blanche and I somewhat vulnerable. What a great bodyguard I am.

Yeon’s response to this man’s peeping was a little bit over the top, although she was sure that if she had a giant sword in her arsenal, she’d be more than happy to swing it around as she pleased if it meant that she had total domination over people through intimidation. But- Watching as the boy would then fall from the tree, landing on his feet luckily due to some degrees of agility that he had, she would be quite interested in seeing his palms- Which, for some uncanny reason, seemed to have mouths on them- Or, she could see that a single one of them had a mouth on it at the moment, the other was hidden, and she was unsure whether or not it was similar- But why was his other hand hidden? Was he creating half seals? With her arms drawing up in a defensive position for a few moments, what he would say next, would make her pause in her tracks.

”Oh- You’re from Kusa?
I haven’t seen you before. I guess you didn’t get beat up too bad.”

She’d say, referring to the war. All in all, he was a child, and during the time of the war itself, he must have been at least a preteen or just starting his teen years, which in her opinion, was too young for someone to start fighting. However, with her eyes moving to see the gleam of metal upon his being, the zig-zags of Kusagakure emblazoned upon it, his statement would be seen as true- That or he had acquired the headband through some illegal means. ”What’re you doing in Hi no Kuni?” she would ask, initiating conversation- Just what he was doing here, and what were his intentions? Hers seemed to be shady, but, only she knew what she was truly up to.

With her head then moving to her side towards Yeon - before he had chosen to be a downright perv, luckily for this, it had been unseen by the blonde- and would nod her head to him a single time, before turning her gaze back to Masaru. ”Boy; Answer me this. Do you still hold pride towards your home village?” the question asked, she would now await- Maybe he could be of use some day. The restoring project always needed strong hands and even though his were a bit deformed with those hands she was sure that he could lift things, maybe. But the hands- It was so.. strange. ”…….” chakra scalpel remaining unused, she did wish to go in and have a closer look at those interesting mouths but, this wasn’t the time nor the place.

So- She had met two people today. Eun, who she refered to as Yeon, and this Masaru. All she wanted to do was go to Tetsu in order to make some money, but it seemed to be halted by this guy making his sudden appearance! She was hoping that at least she’d be able to get some kind of information out of him which would reveal why he was there, of course. Had he been listening to their conversation? She was unsure, although he claimed that he had been drawn in by her headband, which was quite understandable as it was a bit hard to see Kusagakure shinobi across the place any more, so maybe that was the only cause. But, she couldn’t really jump to assumptions since, truly, she didn’t know. Her right hand rasiging and shifting the back of her blonde hair, much alike a celebrity would do, she’d then lower her hands on her bountiful hips once more.

The knight, as I saw him, moved from his position, calmly taking his post behind the blonde-haired maiden. His blade re-sheathed, he stood motionless in the back. My immediate thoughts came to him being her bodyguard. Her appearance, in my opinion, merited no more than a common kunoichi, but obviously she had much more value than that. I thought about bringing myself to a bow, just to show some respect, before I caught sight of his true intentions. My guard lowered as I stared flatly at his eyes, watching them move over her body and backside.

I rolled my eyes as I stood up, my right hand still residing within my pocket. Looking to the woman as she posed her questions, I'd of course have to respond, for if not their overwhelming might could be the end of me. "This is where I was right before the end of the war. I haven't had the chance to try and return home yet." I sighed, casting my gaze to the ground. "I didn't even know if anyone from the village was still alive." My solemn tone carried off slowly, my sentence fading into nothing with every syllable. But at the epitome of my depression, she spoke, and I quickly raised my head to her call.

"Of course. This war has changed nothing about my loyalty to Kusa." I smiled lightly before posing a question of my own, a smartass comment at the least. "My turn to ask a question; why do you ask such stupid questions?" Suddenly my muscles tensed, preparing to move should she come to anger and send her bodyguard after me. She didn't appear to be the one to take shit from anybody, and in any case my right hand still grasped tightly onto the clay ball, ready to begin feeding my chakra to it in an emergency.

As I watched her take her stance, I couldn't help but stifle a laugh. Flipping her hair back and placing her hands on her hips; one would call her a celebrity. Yet, in these difficult times, I'd call her a superficial bitch. My smile grew while holding back laughter, which unfortunately would only give the impression I was mocking her. I grasped a little tighter onto the clay, pushing it into the handmouth only a little bit to prepare myself even quicker. With this single smile, I was sure that I would be placing myself into some deep shit, regardless if she was also still loyal to Kusa or not.

Continuing on my present task -- staring at Blanche's ass -- I'd resume my enjoyment and for the most part miss the conversation taking place between Blanche and Masaru. That is until Masaru directed a question to Blanche; a rude one at that. "My turn to ask a question; why do you ask such stupid questions?" At this point, I immediately averted my attention from dat ass to Blanche's fact and then back to Masaru. With such rudeness aimed at her, I wasn't sure if Blanche would straight out lose it and just murder this kid or she would garner a sense of interest in the lad. Either way, I couldn't help but worry this confrontation would turn out bad -- maybe causing the death of someone.

Whatever the case may or may not be, a sense of worry crept itself into my mind as I looked to Masaru. Previously, I had failed to notice that one of his hands is hidden within a pouch on his person. This did not bode well for Blanche or I as he may have some sort of doomsday device hidden in his bag for all I know. Wary of any potential hostility, I immediately grasp the handle of my sword with my right hand; shifting my body so that it face right. With left arm in front and my right arm in the rear, my eyes locked onto Masaru. I would not draw my weapon and simply take on a stance to allow me quick reaction should he choose the suicidal path.

Surely it is a bad idea to fight when the enemy outnumbers you two to one. And there is surely nothing this lowly Shinobi could do against the both of us right? Whether that is the case or not, I would have to contemplate on his potential course of offensive action. In a fight where the enemy outnumbers you, there are but a few things I could think of that would turn the battle in Masaru's favor. One option being that he may have some backup hidden somewhere close but seeing how my last act of intimidation didn't warrant a reaction, this option is unlikely. Another option is he possess the capability of causing a large scale attack which could potentially take Blanche and myself out. Seeing as how he hid his right hand within a mysterious bag, this second option is likely his best plan of attack.

No matter his choice of action, I would be ready to react accordingly. How would this turn out?

It wasn’t as if some godly, outside presence had told her off and made her forget about whatever was on his hand- what was on there anyway? Just skin. She must have been hallucinating, right? Being strangely unable to remember what she had past seen she’d skip past that back to her normal day-to-day life, and would continue her confrontation with this boy. ”As in, you took part in the war itself, or this is where the whole palaver left you?” she would inquire- One keen to prevent young people from taking part in the war she wanted them to have as normal as a childhood as any other could have- Without the whole war tearing through the village, of course. It caused many of Kusa’s youth to grow up quickly, and really, that wasn’t for the best. As parents went to war, they were placed in charge of any siblings they may have- Although some were even called off to war themselves. She herself; She had worked in the hospital due to her skills, but she had gone out there as a field medic once or twice in the later years.

”I have met.. about four or so on my travels.”

She would tell him with an equally soft tone, attempting to bring back any kind of faith that he might have lost upon not seeing any Kusagakure shinobi for such a long time. It did feel quite strange at the start when you wondered if you were the last one alive- Although, she knew that wasn’t true since there had to be other people, right? She had met people on her way, but she hadn’t picked anyone up to be some kind of gang- That was to happen later on in time. His next answer- That he was still loyal to Kusagakure, would cause a smug grin to grow on her face- She was glad. Although- The boy, who had past been on her good side due to the answers she had given, was now in danger of being castrated from what he would say next.

”LET ME ASK YOU ONE. WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE A FUCKING FIVE YEAR OLD.”

The response had been somewhat quick, and anger bubbled within her baby blue eyes, it was clear to see as her facial expression, which was once one of general annoyance, was now one of rage- How dare he say that to her- to her! ”I had been planning to begin restoring the village but if you have that attitude, perhaps your presence will be unwelcomed. I had simply been inquiring because” a pause, her right hand raising in front of her, in clear view of his eyes. ”One. Your antics in hi no kuni was a question simply wondering what you were doing here, ill intentions or not. I wouldn’t have cared anyway, this land isn’t mine. two. I have yet to have found a person who has ceased to be loyal to our village. It was once more, just a question. You and me are of the same place, and we both hold the same respect towards it. NO NEED TO BE A DICK ABOUT IT. ACT YOUR AGE.

Her right hand then suddenly being enveloped with healing chakra- With a twist, a common technique that she used would make its appearance, and yet, not really moved towards him. Three. This technique allows me to destroy your biological build-up. Don't get me wrong- You're a great guy I'm sure, and I liked you before you had to say that. I don't want to use it. Not on you at least." a pause, the glow removing itself from her hands, the sinister air still around the place a little. "If you apologise for your rudeness, I will be more than happy to forgive you." after this had been said she would then move her hands back to her sides- She had of course, been eyeing his other hand which had been within his pocket- Whatever his intentions were being there they were taken in to accordance, and just in case he was going to pull out an exploding pouch or something like that, she would be ready for it. Looking from his hidden hand to his face, she would await his response-
Was he willing to grow up for the sake of befriending them, and perhaps even joining them for tetsu no kuni?

Of course, she was being quite nice to him in the sense that she didn't go forwards and dead hands his sorry ass straight away- They were from Kusagakure, a similar connection, and who knows? He could be useful to her plans later on- If he was willing to apologise. It probably wasn't within his nature to do so from what she gathered at the moment, but if he wanted forgiveness, he would have to. Soz beii.

The armored beast brought his hand to the hilt of his blade, taking a stance as he prepared to release his fury. Obviously my comment had been a little too over the top, this theory of course being proven as the winds picked up, the clouds overhead turned to storms, and lightning burst down from the heavens as the earth split open in a fiery explosion. My very soul was subject to this same destruction, and as the scenery seemed to change vastly into Armageddon, I suddenly came to the realization that all was fine in the world, with one small difference.

The kunoichi before me was screaming, her voice bellowing and echoing in the four corners of the earth. I felt as if my clothing and hair actually moved from the force of her voice, and for an instant I felt as if I might die from sheer power of anger that permeated her being. Alas, the rage didn't end there; her voice continued to droll on and on and on, throwing out her explanations that I cared little about. I found it to be quite obvious; there was a war, I was obviously stationed here. I didn't mark my headband, therefore I was still loyal to Kusa. Simple logic, really! But that didn't stop the maiden as her hands suddenly came to bear an ethereal glow, one that I'd seen only a few times before.

I smiled before I drew my right hand slowly from my pocket, trying my best not to cause fear for its hidden purpose. Within it I'd have a single ball of clay, and as I moved just one foot backwards to take a stance of my own, I lifted my left hand up, wagging my finger from side to side. Casting my gaze from one to the other, considering which one to try and kill first should anything happen, my finger would drift from its wagging to the ball within my hand, which happened to cleverly hide the mouth located on my palm.

"I'd be more than happy to help you, madame! I hadn't been informed someone had died and made you Kusa Queen! But please, for the sake of all, drop your guard."

I waved the ball around a little bit, trying to show its importance to the situation as my smile became a devilish grin.

"Because if you choose to overreact, I'll blow us all to kingdom come! But do tell me, as I'm quite interested, what did you have in mind, exactly?"

I'd been referring to the restoration of our nation, for I, too, was one that interested myself in its revival. I knew that I couldn't come to leadership; I was much too chaotic. Even by the looks of this woman I couldn't place my bet on a good future for Kusa. Yet even she was better than I would be, and seeing as I hadn't any other contact with my people, well... She was the only choice. I'd have to support her if I wanted to support my village, no matter how much it pained me to do so. Still waving the piece of clay about, I cautiously awaited their responses, always ready to push the clay into my handmouth at any given moment.

At some point in the future, I would have to thank Masaru for his act of rudeness for he showed me something I had been meaning to see -- Blanche's anger. Of course I did not want such anger aimed at myself and been hoping for some random person to trigger an act of rage from the golden seductress. And behold, the anger of Blanche for all to see. My heart skipping a beat as she suddenly let loose a massive verbal tantrum aimed at none other than Masaru. Not only am I able to see what I would be receiving should I piss Blanche off but in her anger, she let loose some information that intrigue me.

Apparently, this woman I travel with intended to recreate her village of Kusagakure. From this, I could assume that during the course of the war, the village was destroyed. Sad but such is the fate of smaller villages when war is loose across the land. Before I trailed too far into my own thoughts, my focus moved back on Masaru to see his reaction. And oh, how I deeply enjoyed his reaction.

The little Kusa nin replying to Blanche with his own reasons and thoughts but that is not what interested me. It was rather the odd white object he drew from his bag. At first, I had no idea what such an odd object could do until his very words "blow us all to kingdom come!" told me exactly what it did. Despite being in a situation where I could potentially die from his explosive creation, I couldn't help but feel excitement coursing through me. The beast within that lust for battle is thrilled at the current situation -- evidently shown by a slowly forming grin. Energy slowly coursing itself through my body and toward my blade where it rested for its time of need. Your move, mang. Your move.

Oh- So now he wanted to play some games?

Sure enough she would like to be Kusa Queen- Yes, that title seemed to have a nice ring to it. ”I haven’t been made Kusa Queen, but if you want to call me that, by all means go ahead.” she would tell him, playing on the words that he had spoken. Surely enough she looked forwards to being Kusa queen to the full, but then again she needed to get some money if she was ever going to ascend the ranks with the help of weaponry and items- Her main goal, to get a world map, was being painfully interrupted by this brat and his moody attitude. Psh. What a loser. Loooooser. She would have made her hands change in to an L Shape upon her forehead directing towards him, if it was not for the fact that he took something quite interesting out of his pocket-

-Was this what he had been doing for the past few minutes as he had approached them? Feeling up some.. clay? What. With a slightly confused expression she would listen as he would threaten to blow them all up- Again, what. Just who did he think this guy was? With.. clay explosives? A less than entertained look was on Blanche’s face as she bore the expression of a person who was quite bored. It wasn’t as if she wasn’t concerned that he’d blow the place up, it was just that she couldn’t be bothered to listen to him dicking around. ”Maseru- You request for me to lower my guard whilst you are waving about a, assumingly, dangerous and explosive piece of clay.” that having been said her arms would cross beneath her chest, the past rage of before having gone away in the breeze once more, replaced by a persona filled with sarcasm and the feeling of annoyance, and partially a hunger for something spicy to eat. Maybe.. something with chili in it. Yes- That sounded pretty nice.

”If you must know;
I’m planning to restore it, as I’ve already said. Buildings need to be made up, slowly but surely I’m sure that if we Kusa shinobi assemble where the village once was and begin to work, the village will be back to working order. It will take years for it to be built up fully but I’m planning to take the initiative and start quite soon.
-Once I get my world map.”

Maybe the world map bit was a hint to suggest them to get going to Tetsu no Kuni- Their journey had been halted by this explosive wielding punk-ass kid, and she hadn’t the patience to wait any more time. Flicking her hair to the side once more, she would turn her attention for but a brief moment back towards Yeon, who was still wielding the large sword that she had taken note of earlier in time. Looking back at Maseru, she would await his response. ”Boy, put that clay down and you might be able to become part of the plan.” of course- She was recruiting him, but right now as he was practically willing to destroy the very person who was getting ready to restore the village, should he say yes, she would still be annoyed at him for the past things he had done, but it would at least make him like him a bit more.

A grin came upon the samurai's face, and immediately I knew that he was enjoying this just as much as I was. Of course our reasons were clearly different, as I saw the lust for combat behind his eyes. Unfortunately, today would not be the day he got to satisfy that hunger for blood. Not on myself, anyway. I still held my own devilish grin as I looked to and fro, eyes always vigilant upon the duo before me. Prissy little Kusa Queen glanced over to my hand, her expression showing clear boredom at the trick I had tried to produce.

My grin faded as I lowered my hand, sliding it down to my right side, yet the clay was still visible. Still I kept my hand covered, for such an ability was a rarity as far as I had seen. It would rest a kept secret until I felt the time was right. I now took my own clear expression of boredom, a long, exasperated sigh escaping my lips as she dragged on. "Masaru," I'd boldly correct, "and you first threatened me with your special little hands." Although she wouldn't understand, I was silently mocking her techniques, for surely they weren't as unique as my own!

But before I could continue, she had already started another speech, and as she carried on I came to realize that each was longer than the last. At this rate, I had two options; agree with everything she said to get moving and to shut her up, or to abandon my only hope at returning to Kusa without getting too beat up. Basically, my pride and dignity were on the line, and I wasn't quite ready to lose either of them. Although her plan seemed fairly solid, I couldn't help but take both a liking and a disliking to her serious attitude. In one aspect, it would be good for the village, In the other, it wouldn't mix well with myself.

Oh, the sacrifices we all must make! As she gave her little commands as if she already owned the fucking country, I slowly slid my right hand into my pocket once more, although I would still keep it there, hidden away. The funny part, for myself, was that she didn't actually know about the potential of the clay, yet she continued to mock it. It was funny to think that with a single technique I could blow up everything within 50 meters. My hand felt around greedily for the clay I had, yet I suddenly came to the conclusion that I was a little short on munitions. I gulped slightly, my head ringing with the words, "ONLY FIVE?!" I could only hope I'd taken the right path.

"So, how do we get this world map of yours?"

The simple phrase crushed his pride into a million pieces.

lub-dub! . . . lub-dub! . . lub-dub! lub-dub! lub-dub! The sound of a heart beating faster and faster -- my heart beat. Only in a life or death situation can one truly understand what one is made of. And this is the moment -- my moment where I will truly know what I am made of. Am I just a coward hiding behind the facade of a word -- "Samurai" -- or do I possess within the heart of a warrior lusting for battle. In hope of it being the latter, I mentally and physically prepared myself to fight what might be a massive exploding force. Do I possess the power to combat such a force or would I fall beneath its fury? I know not but in mere moments, I will see. Or so I thought.

In a single action, Masaru crushed my chances of discovering if I am but flesh and blood or something more. Normally, one would be bursting with joy or at least pleased on some insignificant level about avoiding a potentially suicidal moment . . . but not me. "DAMMIT! DAMMIT! DAMMIT!" is the only thoughts coursing through my mind as Masaru began contemplation of Blanche's proposal. With all my heart, I wish he had gone on with his mental plan and engaged in this "losing battle." But no, saner minds just had to prevail.

On some twisted level, I actually considered being the one to go on the offense; completely ignoring both Kusa-nin's decision to come to an understanding. That would, however, place me in an even greater life or death situation as it would likely become a two-on-one -- me being the one. Wait, considering my current state of mind, is that a bad thing? "Hmm . . ."

The blonde haired woman would the grin somewhat as he spoke that she had threatened him- That she had done, but she had dispelled the technique, ands he hadn’t waved her hands around and threatened to blow not him but everyone up. Such was the mindframe of some suicidal maniac, and although she wasn’t’ too keen on him at the moment, it would soon seem as if she would be travelling alongside said suicidal maniac until they got to testu, or perhaps until Kusagakure was made up and restored. He’d better not pull off some any tricks, or she’d have to see to it! Watching as his hand retracted somewhat, as if he had lost a war in itself, she would then, gazing at his eyes, not respond to what he had to say- There was no point. It was a dead-end sentence really.

But now- With his question- How she was going to get the world map, she would tell him simply ”By acquiring money.” quite simply as she’d flick her head to the side, her blonde hair tumbling along with it, it looking quite fresh and vibrant- Over the years many had guessed that she dyed her hair due to the colour itself being quite noticeable, but it wasn’t true- Her father had the same hair, and it had been passed down to her, thankfully enough. She could never imagine herself with any other colour hair, or hairstyle. Or being bald. Long, blonde hair was one of her trademarks, and she was pretty happy to keep it that way!

Turning towards the Samurai that lay aside me- Or behind me, she would then gaze at him and his own eyes before turning back to the clay jerk, Masaru. Nodding her head, she would then, taking a deep breath, begin to speak. All lay silent in the court, because her majesty was speaking. ”We need to get going if we are to reach our destination before nightfall. Masaru. We’re leaving for Tetsu no Kuni, where we will hopefully be allowed to take missions.” that having been said, there would be a slight pause in her speaking. ”It will probably be a peace keeping mission, so if you don’t try anything, I won’t try anything. Deal?” a request for the two of them to just stop bickering and get on with things was made, and she would wait, hopefully getting a yes from him. She wasn’t too fond of fighting with people from her own village- Especially in its current state.

But now- Looking towards Yeon again, she would suggest for him to go forwards and lead the way as he had done before. Their past journey had been halted by this guy beside them, but this was take 2 on the travelling, and they had better get there in time. She didn’t want to be walking around a snowy region at that time of night- She had heard that in Yuki no kuni people died from the frost but, she had yet to feel the cold for herself. ”Yeon, lead the way.” a command from the blonde in the sweetest of tones, she would then await for him to start moving, as she, upon his move, would do likewise.

My God was this woman was so absolutely conceited that it angered me to watch her motions. With a simple flick of her head she displayed an aura of such arrogance that I actually considered blowing myself up, even if it meant that she didn't go down with me. Her actions disgusted me, just as her words would as she spoke to the samurai and then to myself. I'd slowly nod, maintaining a bright smile as I did so. But within me there was a burning passion to show this woman a lesson, and it was here and now that I made the vow to do just that.

Her only current redeeming qualities were the following; her want for money, peace, and to restore the village. These were luckily all equally important to myself, and for that I'd have to join the group, no matter how much I despised this woman. But for some reason I couldn't help but respect her; I assumed it was due to the village. However, I was sure it would easily fade, seeing as she was so overly confident that it would easily become an issue. Alas, even with pure hatred seething from every pore on my body, I moved forward, joining the group as the newest member of this trio.
