It was a true fact that she was enjoying this land much more than she had enjoyed that other country, Tsuchi. Of course, staying here reminded her greatly of being back in Kusa, and it reminded her also of the fact that she needed to return at one point to simply restore her memories and, of course, to try and help restore the country- If she could just get a few shacks up that would be good enough for her. She had met a few Kusa shinobi on her path, and she was sure that at least a few of them would be willing to aid her in her quest to restore the village to its former glory. It would take time no doubt, but it would be time well spent.
So, for now she was simply roaming the forestry of Hi no kuni, her blonde hair entwining within the low stooping branches that sometimes hung from the trees. It had been a simple walk, and unlike in Tsuchi no Kuni, it wasn’t uphill, which she was very happy about. But what else was there to do? She had little money on her at the moment and she needed to buy a map so that she could finally start her travelling and making some deals with the leaders of villages- She had a lot of plans, and she was hoping to fufill and run them to their whole potential- However, money at the moment, was a problem. What did a girl need to do in order to get some cash around here?!”…!”
With sun suddenly hitting her baby blue eyes, her pupils decreasing in size as her vision would soon get adjusted to the change in lighting. Such days reminded her of the warm ones back home where she would spend hours upon hours in the hospital, the air conditioning working full blast as the weather hung humidly outside, caused by the concentration of plants that could be found around the place. The village was nestled carefully within a lump of greenery, and she was quite happy that it had been so. Although, she could but look back now at the state that it had become- Said greenery burnt down, and the only trees left being ones that were on their deathbed. It had been a sad sight to see, and right now, the burnt forestry of Kusa no Kuni served as a painful memorial of the war and what it had brought her- What it had brought everyone.
But with her mind shifting elsewhere to prevent such memories surfacing she would look around- Surely there was something to do? Someone to meet? Something to do? Her heels digging in to the earth, she’d make her way around the trees, her eyes gazing at every mark within the trunks of the wooden statues that stood around her. Flora had always interested her, and Hi no kuni was, fortunately for themselves, very lucky in the way how their plants had somehow sustained the violence of the war. Orchids, daisies, all kinds of flowers Blanche loved, but, roses were her favourites in particular. However- Such flowers, she hadn’t seen in a while now. Continuing to walk around, her arms crossed as her head moved from left to right, examining the area, she would await something to happen.
