Select few members of the Uchiha clan possess the ability to activate the bloodline Sharingan, making it a highly rare, recessive gene tucked away only within a chosen few. This doujutsu gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. Special: In order to unlock each stage, the user must RP through some sort of induced life-threatening stress that requires staff approval. Users normally will start with a dormant Sharingan; only the most competent, well made, original applications get the 1st Tomoe at the start.
Description: Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. This doujutsu gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it with ease, depending on the level of development reached within the eye. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe, comma like shapes of pure ebony that exist in perfect symmetry around the pupil. Only under the influence of extreme stress will the Sharingan evolve, and only after the user has endlessly trained their eye will its true skill come forth.

Description: The very first form of the Sharingan, once its true powers are unlocked. With only one tomoe, the eye itself is still very immature and lacking in any of its real powers, but it can nonetheless excell much more than any normal human eye can in battle. At this stage, the Uchiha begins to see the truth behind illusions, as well as gain a brief understanding of whatever movements are coming at them.

Description: The next stage of evolution for the Sharingan involves two tomoe, improving upon the Uchiha's current skills and adding new ones. Amongst others, it allows the Uchiha to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack, as well as pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra, as well as lingering traces of foreign chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

  Description: As the Sharingan eye matures, the user is able to specifically read into the chakra nature before them. Rather than simply seeing flowing energy all at once, the Uchiha now learns to distinguish each release by a unique color coding only they can see. Best of all, as an opponent prepares a jutsu from a particular elemental nature already known to the Uchiha, the chakra traces burst forth, affording the user a small window of anticipation.

Their chakra reading abilities have becomes so refined that, when faced with the uncertainty of a possible enemy clone, an instant visual inspection reveals all. Useful when outnumbered.

    Special: Once the victim is struck by lightning, the user is required to re-apply the effects. If the victim is not struck by lightning before they leave the given battle thread, the effects are neutralized and the jutsu must be reapplied. Highest rank determines the strength of the charge placed on the victim, and thus, the strength of lightning that can strike them.
    Description: As the name implies, this simple technique allows the user to alter their internal electric charge temporarily, so that all Raiton chakra subsequently made by the user (as well as natural lightning!) is more susceptible to strike the victim, as well as damage them higher than normal. This alteration usually occurs during some form of contact, where the user’s charged appendage can simple tough, strike or graze the victim and quickly place the effects on them.

    Description: Meant more as a reactionary technique than a main avenue of offense, this jutsu allows the user to essentially shoot out small lightning bolts from a free hand to anyone within a small range. This requires no seals to conjure, and can be shot out from one’s appendage during the most heated of combat. The damage is light and the bolts shoot off in a relatively straight line, at rapid speeds.

    • Ichiren Inazuma (Chain of Lightning)

      Special: Range of chain depends on the user's 'Shooting Thunder' range. By default, you can strike up to 2 opponents with this, plus 1 more each time retrained. Once struck, victim’s will be paralyzed for the turn, stuck in the chain until the user stops using it. User must keep outstretched arm and be still as they feed the chain raiton chakra. Each extra victim within the chains raises the chakra cost of this technique.
      Description: An advanced version of ‘Shooting Thunder’, the Chain of Lightning allows the user to pass strong currents of lightning from victim to victim within a thirty meter radius. After a series of handseals, the user outstretches their hands, and the energy focusing within is displaced rapidly towards their target. Once they are hit, the victims are paralyzed and helpless, and the bolt then proceeds to jump and hit anyone else within range. Excellent when outnumbered, though one must use it with care, for it takes a great toll on the user’s chakra pool.

    Description: After performing the correct handseals, the user opens their mouth and spits out a small glowing blue ball into the sky. It consists of highly compressed raiton energy, packed tightly during the technique’s preparation. Once it reaches the skies, it goes off in a brilliant blast, blinding all flying within the area blind for a short period. Excellent for when the raiton user is outnumbered or simply surprised by aerial assailants, and has no way to fend them off when escape is necessary.

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)[/u]

Special: Switch is near-instantaneous. When first learned, Kawarimi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. Can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining.. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals.
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.
