Description: This technique allows the members of the Akimichi clan to freely control their calories in their body to perform their clan's advanced jutsu. The Akimichi developed the Three Coloured Pills for easier use of this technique, however, the pills have devastating effects. These effects are not seen when the user performs the technique without the assistance of the pills. At this level of the technique, the user converts their calories into chakra and releases it externally as an aura around the body. The chakra soon disappears or dissipates after activation. In this form/stage the users attack strength and endurance increases significantly, granting them greater strength and endurance with Akimichi Taijutsu.

The chakra soon disappears or dissipates after activation. In this form/stage the users attack strength and endurance increases significantly, granting them greater strength and endurance with Akimichi Taijutsu.

Description: At this level of the technique, the user converts their calories into chakra even further and releases it externally as a pair of butterfly wings. In this form/stage the users attack strength and endurance increases greatly, granting them greater strength and endurance with Akimichi Taijutsu.

These aren't gates. The only reason gates dispel genjutsu of equal rank is because the user is pushing their entire body to the limit. This however isn't the same. Something about stacking this with gates shouldn’t be possible should be in there. The strength bonus is too high as well. This is the first pill, not the last one. Quite shocking the pill techniques aren’t around also. Anyway, I’ll let Lash give his full review.

I would like, in the special, to have any percentile strength, speed, or endurance bonuses removed. Instead, I like how you have the 'strength' and 'speed' subtechniques for the ability which states an actual tangible amount of bonus. Stick with that please so we can avoid things like "I'm .2% stronger than you, so I win". I'm also not sure about accepting these off the bat without some sort of real limitation to them. I'm pretty sure that they said that the majority of Akimichi ninja have to use the pills and can't just use the ability sans the pills.

Maybe create the pills as custom items along with the technique and say somewhere that if a user obtains a Mastery over Akimichi that they can perform these techniques minus the pills?

Actually yes thats true. Its in the wikia. All Akimichi are able to use the calorie control (I.E: Chouji in Recent Chapters) at will without pills. However, the Akimichi created the Soldier pills to Help do the calorie control-not to actually do the technique itself- but at the cost of drawbacks similar to the eight gates. Performing calorie control at will doesn't come with the drawbacks.

I will have to respectfully disagree with the Mastery, though it is higher in rank it is still inferior to other Taijutsu boosters such as the Gates in many ways and those do not require mastery. Actually I can see maybe the S rank/stage three but definitely not the first and second.

Actually, this is the pinnacle of Akmichi techniques, and its not unfeasible to say it would require a mastery over the Akimichi clan arts. Just because the gate's doesn't require a mastery doesn't mean this wouldn't--they're different and the gates are basically a fighting style in itself where as this is supposed to represent the peak of an Akimichi's skills. 1,000 exp is nothing at all, and I'd rather people have experience in Akimichi techniques before jumping into these techs. The fact that it has no drawbacks just makes me thinks so even more.

I agree with Shibu as well regarding stacking this with the gates. There should be something about not being able to do that in there.
