DISCLAIMER:
For all intents and purposes, the jutsu within this style which list "katar" as a weapon, unless otherwise specifically stated, can be used with any type of punching dagger, claw weapon, or hand blade; where the handle extends as far as the wrist, and the blade protrudes over or in front of the knuckles.
This means no Kunai, no swords, and no Brass knuckle type weapons.

HISTORY:
The history of Katar fighting is a long one. The art of fighting with punching daggers has been passed from generation to generation by users of the sacred blades. These weapons are subtle, as are their uses, and few would be so foolish as to attempt direct assault with them. To do so is suicide.
The art of Blood Pain is one of reflexes. One of wits, subterfuge, distraction and cunning. Like the snake, one must be mysterious, shrouded behind a veil of confusing, distracting movements, until one strikes at the opportune moment. For a good snake, it only takes the initial strike to kill its prey. So too is the goal of Blood Pain.

Fundamental Arts of Blood Pain:
Waltz of the Cobra
Rank: D, C, B
Type: Spuulementary/Genjutsu/Taijutsu
Range: 0-3 Ft.
Stamina: Mid - High
Special: Cannot exceed maximum trained level of Reflexes. Ineffective against any motion predicting Doujutsu or Ninjutsu. Effect can be dispelled if made aware that subject is being hypnotized.
Description: This dance acts similarly to a minor visual genjutsu, taking advantage of human nature's tendency for our eyes to follow movement. One twists and contorts one's body while fighting in such a manner as to draw all visual attention from the weapon with which they seek to strike, or from the movement they seek to make. It is useless against higher level opponents.
Domain: Blood Pain, Sight Genjutsu, Must be dual-wielding some form of Katars.
Reflexes
Rank: D, C, B, A, S
Type: Defensive/Taijutsu
Range: Self
Special: Through training one's reaction time, one can improve the speed in which they react to attacks. One cannot learn Blood Pain Jutsu above their rank of Reflexes.
Description: The Blood Pain Fighting style emphasizes quick reaction times. The ability to block, to move, and to dodge are paramount when fighting with katars. By taking time to focus, one can prepare to react better to attacks, reading their opponent's body language, and reacting accordlingly. However, this technique is limited, as it cannot pierce Genjutsu, nor does it allow the user to see high speed movements.

Quick Strike
Rank: C, B, A, S
Type: Offensive/Taijutsu/Supplementary
Range: 0-3 Ft.
Stamina: Mid - Very High
Special: Cannot exceed maximum trained level of Reflexes. For every rank of Quick strike, User must have trained Senshi 1 Mirrourin (See Universal Taijutsu) 4 times. This means to learn C rank, you must have trained it four times, to learn B rank, you must have trained it 8 times, to learn A, 12 times, and S, 16 times.
Description: The Blood Pain Fighting style emphasizes quick reaction times. In conjunction with blocking and dodging, one must also be trained to lash out when the opponent least expects it. Strikes must be lightning quick, as there is no room for error. Due to this intense focus, strikes launched in this manner are incredibly draining, as every hit must be absolutely precise.

Blood Pain Techniques:
Cross Block
Rank: C
Type: Taijutsu
Range: 0-5 Ft.
Stamina: Mid
Special: Blocks B rank vertical slashes with a horizontal angle of 15 degrees or less to either the left or right. (E.G. Vertical chops.) Also effective block for an Equal rank slash or lower made in anything outside of the aforementioned 30 degree wedge. Ineffective against stabs or thrusts.
Description: To counteract an incoming slash, The user crosses the blades/claws of their katars at the last moment possible to them, and makes a V-shape to catch the opponent's blade with. Doing so, the user is able to distribute the weight of the incoming blow from their arms and through the rest of their body without harm.
Domain: Blood Pain, Reflexes D Rank, Dance of the Cobra C rank, Must be dual-wielding some form of Katars.
Trading Blows
Rank: C
Type: Taijutsu
Range: 0-5 Ft.
Stamina: Low
Special: Can only be used on thrusts of equal or lower rank, can only be used if the opponent is in range. (No using this against a sword/weapon making a reach attack of 5 feet or more) Cannot be used against slashes.
Description: Seeing an incoming Thrust, the user reacts by moving so as to accept part of the blow for a chance to deal one undodgeable attack capable of D-rank damage with the katar. Also, Any Damage taken by the user is also halved.
Domain: Blood Pain, Reflexes C Rank, Dance of the Cobra C rank, Quick Strike C rank, Must be dual-wielding some form of Katars.
Springboard
Rank: C
Type: Taijutsu
Range: 0-15 Ft.
Stamina: Mid
Special: Can only be used against a charging opponent. Leaves user vulnerable to counter-attack if done from a range of more than 10 feet.
Description: Seeing an opponent charging towards them, the user prepares himself in a defensive stance. Then, seizing the opportunity the user leaps forward, body completely extended, arms pointed out towards the opponent with the two katars making a spike shape, and begins a barrel roll towards the opponent, using the momentum of the charge against them. If done from a distance greater than ten feet, the opponent may launch a free, unblockable taijutsu counter attack, if able. (Opponent cannot be pre-occupied forming handseals, digging in their pockets, or in the midst of launching another attack, or anything that would otherwise hamper their ability to counter.)

Side Parry
Rank: B
Type: Taijutsu
Range: 0-5 Ft.
Stamina: High
Special: Blocks and deflects up to B rank horizontal slashes or chops with a horizontal angle of 45 degrees or less, from the ground up. Ineffective against stabs or thrusts.
Description: To counteract an incoming slash, The user drops to their knee, and digs one blade into the earth as a brace. He brings the other up to intercept the incoming blade, using his anchored blade to dissipate the force of the incoming blow, and knock the opponent's weapon aside, leaving them open for counter-attack.
Domain: Blood Pain, Reflexes B Rank, Dance of the Cobra B rank, Must be dual-wielding some form of Katars.
Scissors Block
Rank: B
Type: Taijutsu
Range: 0-5 Ft.
Stamina: Very High
Special: Captures a moving blade between the prongs of a scissors katar/claw weapon. Blade size cannot exceed the length or width of the claw's prongs, or the technique fails.
Description: Weilding a multi-pronged weapon, the user launches their weaponed arm in the path of an oncoming weapon, attempting to catch it between the claws, and push it away from the body. Due to the nature of the technique, and the fact that the user is only using one arm, the technique is only effective against strikes of equal or lower rank.
Domain: Blood Pain, Reflexes B Rank, Dance of the Cobra B rank, Must be wielding some kind of Claw type weapon, or Scissors Katar.
Whirlwind
Rank: B
Type: Taijutsu
Range: 0-5 Ft.
Stamina: Very High
Special: Used most effectively against vertical attacks. Must be used as a counter-attack. If used against a horizontal strike, the user is left open to a counter attack, by way of the opponent following the rotation with his weapon and cleaving/stabbing into the user.
Description: As an opponent rushes with a vertical strike, or a thrust, the user will wait until the last able second, and side-step the attack, spinnning rapidly around their opponent, and slashing at their arms and back, landing a maximum of three strikes, before tucking and rolling five feet way, and coming to their feet.
Domain: Blood Pain, Reflexes B Rank, Quick Strike B rank, Dance of the Cobra B rank, Must be dual-wielding some form of Katars.
Guillotine
Rank: B
Type: Taijutsu
Range: 0-5 Ft.
Stamina: High
Special: Useful in any situation where the user can cross his katars over his opponent's weapon, and use it for leverage to propel himself up.
Description: In a massive feat of strength and speed, either as a counter to a thrust or horizontal strike, or used opon an opponent who is hilding a blade idle in his hand, the user will step into very close quarters (<3 Feet) with his opponent, and cross his katars quickly over the opponent's weapon. Using it as a brace, he will push against the weapon, and perform a rapid somersault, landing with tremendous force in a sitting position on his opponents shoulders. This force is almost certainly enough to knock even the most surefooted shinobi off balance, sending him falling backwards towards the ground. All of this happens In the span of less than two seconds time, leaving very little opportunity to react, and leaves an almost unrestricted opening to attack an opponent's throat or face.

Pike Wall

Type: Taijutsu

Special: A counter attack designed for any kind of slash, chop, or strike. Can be combined with trading blows to offer the same defence against thrusts.
Description: As an opponent rushes with a vertical strike, or tries to charge in with blunt weaponry, the user will, as the opponent draws near, step forward, too close for the opponent's strike to follow through, while quickly and dropping to a kneel, forcing their weapons into the midsection of their opponent and shifting their momentum against them. Because it uses the momentum of the charge, along with a heavy press of force from the user itself, the strength of the attack is massive, able to pierce armor of up to equivalent rank.

Ankle-Biter
Rank: A
Type: Taijutsu
Range: <15 Ft.
Stamina: Massive
Special: A counter-attack designed to take advantage of claw type weaponry, Ankle-Biter is useful against all types of Taijutsu attacks, and even as an attack itself.
Description: As an opponent stands or rushes with a strike or thrust, the user will bend their knees slightly, waiting for the opportune moment when the opponent is less than three meters away. With a tremendous burst of force, they will rocket forward with a jump that moves at twice their normal speed, rolling and flying between their opponent's open legs and slashing at the exposed thighs, groin, or ankle joints of the body. The user will end their spin with a roll that brings them to their feet, five meters behind their opponent's position.

Kiss of Death

Type: Taijutsu
Range: <15 Ft.
Stamina: Massive
Special: Useful as a counter against almost any type of Taijutsu attack, breaks up to S-rank protectorates, unless indestructible, in which case S rank Blunt trauma is dealt to the opponent from the force of the technique, along with B rank trauma to the wrists of the user.
Description: The magnum opus of the Blood Pain fighting style, Kiss of Death is delivered as a counter attack. As the opponent rushes in, the user will extend an extreme amount of focus; watching his opponent's movements, measuring where the opponent's weapons rest, and meanwhile will be focusing an extreme amount of energy into his legs. As the opponent closes to five meters, the user will spring forward, moving at an inhuman 400% natural speed. Leaping ten feet in the air, and rolling to avoid his opponent's weapon, the user lands face to face with his foe, his arms coming down to strike with four times their normal force, allowing the user to cleave off limbs, or deliver critical strikes at their discretion.
