✘| unraveling intrigue;
It was like any other day in the simple life of Asami, she'd waken up to the shine of the sun, to the songs of life. She was gonna set out on her first mission today, so things seemed to had fallen in place in her life, but little did she know all she knew was about to be stirred up, and flipped into a frenzy Groggy eyes shifted as they flickered in an out, rubbing her weary pupils with her forearm the young girl sat up, a churning filled her stomach. It wasn't hunger but excitement for what her day had in store. Quickly she had gotten ready, throwing on mid-length black shirt and some brown shirt, she wrapped her legs and brushed her orange hair back. Finishing off the mundane ritual she bolted down the steps only to find no breakfast made.
Confused eyes glanced upwards at both her parents, and an uneasy feeling enamored he young girl as she swallowed an imaginary lump within her throat, steeling herself for some kind of punishment or lecturing on something she must had done wrong. Asami tried her best to get some kind of answer from her mothers an fathers expression, but she could not read a single thought from the many wrinkles that made up they're faces. "I think.. its time we told you something important Asami. Something about you." Her father would say in a deep, serious tone whilst her mother nodded silently. 'whats with them...' Thinking that her father grabbed hold of her hand with both of his own, his eyes looked directly into her own and that feeling bolstered. Unrest filled the room, something was definitely wrong.[/ul] "We've always tried to raise you as best we could, but we think its for the best you know now dear." The way her father spoke to her almost brought tears to her eyes, she was so confused, her day had started off so good, she was suppose to eat breakfast, than go on her first mission, happy, but something had to go wrong. "So tell me Dad." Replying bluntly her father reached behind him, two things were resting within his palms, one was a strange bracelet that bore a small gem with an insignia engraved within its surface. The bracelet itself was orange, and nostalgic, yet so mysterious. The next frightened her morose for a reason she herself could not fathom. It was a scratched off Amegakure headband, its appearance was old and worn, like time itself. It spoke volumes to her in a tongue she could not decipher. What'd it all mean? Her lips trembled, but before she could manage words, her mother finally spoke.
"You aren't our child.... Asami."[/size]
