The criminal world outside of Kirigakure was no strange place for Daisuke. He had grown up within it. Perhaps through harsher conditions than most. Returning to the small island villages outside of Kirigakure was not something he really looked forward to, but this would help his training, and would fund his research into the whereabouts of his sister. It was not something he could pass up.

His name would strike fear into many in the criminal world. It was why he went by the name Yogiri Jett, instead of Kuroi Daisuke; even in Kirigakure. Perched within a tree, he looked about the roads, watching this point. One man was already unconscious, and hidden in the bushes; he was a nothing person, barely having any information. The real target was who he had been there to meet.

The man came upon the meeting point armed with a Dao and a round shield. Jett's eyes twitched at this get up, as it was something not usually seen. He remained silent for a moment longer, surveying the scene for the proper time to jump in.

"Where is that guy?" the bandit asked, as he looked around for the man he was supposed to meet.

After the man glanced away from the trees and bushes Daisuke was hidden in, he would leap from the tree From above and behind, he would flip in the air, striking the heel of one foot down for the shoulder of the man. However, Daisuke was not as slick as he had hoped. The man dodged at the last minute, slipping his sword and shield from his back to his hands, as Daisuke landed on the road into a crouch.

"So the guy goofed, and got caught 'eh? By a sissy Genin kid at that?" He shook his head with a scoffing expression on his face. "Pathetic."

"I concur..."

"Shut up..." Daisuke muttered.

"What's that? Speak up boy! At least show some spunk before you die!"

"Tch." Daisuke pushed forward, as the other man did as well, pulling back an arm to swing his sword down on Daisuke. With deft motions, Daisuke would draw out his Kodachi to block. It was not made with as thick metal as the Dao the other man wielded, but it held enough strength to block the blow. Daisuke would then slip under the man's arm, moving to get behind him. However, the man simply swung his shield backward, hitting Daisuke as he moved away from the man, causing him to tumble.

"Pathetic boy! Could Kirigakure not afford to send a real shinobi after me? Are they that weak!?"

No sooner had those words left his mouth, than a kunai flew at him. His eyes twitched at the last moment, and his shield rose to block it. It did not ricochet off though, and remained embeded within the shield. "S-seriously!? You caught me by surprise with that kunai boy, but I still blocked it. How sad..." Then the lightning chakra activated, and shattered the shield, sending the man stumbling back as the shocks of the lightning ran up and down his arm.

Daisuke would soon enough be leaping in the air, landing over the bandit, one hand pressing to the guys sword arm, grasping tightly over his wrist, as his other hand, holding his other kunai, was moved to hold the dagger's blade to the man's throat.

"Don't move. You're coming with me." The man's startled expression, and look of fear on his face gave Daisuke pause. With a raised brow, he looked at the man in wonder. "What?"

"K-Kuroi! You're a Kuroi!" The man exclaimed as his eyes drew wider.

"What? How...?" Just then, Daisuke paused once more, and brought the hand holding the man's wrist back to his own face, touching where his mask usually was. At some point in his tumble away from the shield, his mask had fallen down from his face, revealing what he looked like. "Tch."

"You're a Kuroi!"

"Shut up!" Daisuke shouted with a tinge of anger slipping through. His fist found the man's face, jerking the head to the side, and away from him.

The man did not behave any differently however, even with a big red welt already forming on his cheek, his eyes were wide with fear. "You're... Kosuke's boy.... aren't you?"

The anger then, was unrestrained, for a split moment, as his eyes burned with fury, and his teeth gnashed together audibly. "I said... SHUT UP!" Another fist found it's way to the man's face. "Don't. Ever. Mention. HIS. NAME!!" Each word was punctuated with fervor and a fist, leaving the man's face red and puffy, and one eye bloody.

The man was finally silent, though his fear was still plain on his face, at least, the half that wasn't bruised and bloody. He remained quiet, as Jett collected himself. When his fist clenched again however, the man closed his good eye, and braced for another barrage. However, it never came. Instead, all that stirred was Jett's voice through clenched teeth. "I am not a Kuroi. I am Yogiri Jett. Any claim otherwise will be met with absolute denial. You speak one word of THAT name again, and I will kill you. Got it!?"

Gently, he nodded. Daisuke would stand up, grasping the man's sword in one hand, the other grasping the collar of his shirt, and dragged him away.

After turning the man over at Mizukage tower, Daisuke would waste no time in seeking escape, and finding his way somewhere quiet, to relax. However, he would not find ease in that.

"Yogiri-chan?"

Daisuke turned silently, to look at the attendant, with question.

"Was he really so tough, that you had to resort to fists and not your weapons? Did you run out of chakra? Perhaps you should head to a medic, and rest some. And perhaps next time you should go with a team. There's no need to put yourself at risk like that."

Daisuke grinned with a lot of mirth on his face, though only a trained eye would see it was a forced smile. "Perhaps you're right... I am only a Genin."

And with that, he would walk off.

Daisuke pulled his arm back, and reeled for a punch, a simple punch, but his target moved away before it could follow through. His eyes followed his oppoent, briefly, but he sizzle that accompanied the initial activation of an explosive tag drew his attention away.

He was in no position to escape entirely, and he was looking for a way to escape. The only way to try... He would once more attempt to use his speed to escape,^1F but this time, he would dig his heels in, and move backward. The time it took for him to change direction hurt him, and he could not escape full damage. He managed to get to the edge of the exploding area. He would cross his arms over his face on the way, shielding his face from burns, but it did not aide the rest of him. He would tumble to the ground, and away from the affected area. Using what strength he had in the end, he would remove and throw away his flaming jacket, but that was all he could manage with the strength he had, falling back to the dirt immediately afterward, breathing heavily for a time as he gathered himself.

He would continue to rely on his speed, since it served him well in the first altercation. Now, he felt the best way to deal with this fire technique at least, would be to close the distance. With his Danpen Inazume subverted, he began making seals, as he once more darted^1D to close the 10 meter gap between them.

Once in range, and with five seals formed, his body would give off a glow.^1E Lightning Chakra would burst out from his body, with the goal of distracting his foe from that fire technique, and perhaps even blinding him long enough for his own assault.

He scratched his head, as he stared t his opponent in confusion. One brow was lofted as he stared at him. "Overthinking this aren't you? I mean... it's a spar." Nevertheless, he shrugged, and got into a stance. One hand moved to his hip, to rest upon the hilt of one blade, to ready himself. "Good luck to you." He said with a cheerful tone, and mirthful look upon his face.

He was not the evil sort, at least not when he was in control of his own mind and body, but of course, there was that other side of him that merely sighed its disapproval within that mind it was trapped in. "Pathetic... truly. Do you ever learn?"
