Kyori
With a heavy sigh Elsa scoured her crude map as she tried to find exactly where she was supposed to go. She was, of course, looking for kumogakure but this had turned out to be a much more difficult task than she had expected. As the days went by she could say with confidence that her map was pretty inaccurate and her parents only had a vague idea of where the village actually was. I guess that's why they call it a hidden village. Well, there wasn't much for her to do other than try to find the biggest city that she could and try to meet some people. Ideally she would be able to make some connections with important people.
Looking over her map again, Elsa soon found that there were some clearly marked towns and cities. One of which was named Kumokaku and was only several miles away from her current location. Upon arriving, she greeted the gate guardians politely and requested entrance into the city.
“Let’s see some paperwork,” said the gruff voice of a short statured man.
“Ah, yes,” Elsa replied as she pulled out a hand crafted wooden snowflake about the size of her palm. Where she was from, this signified exactly where she was from and that she was of royal blood. However, the guard simply looked at it with a puzzled expression.
“What’s this? I’m looking for some identification here. Got a headband? Got business here?”
Elsa blushed nervously as she got off of her horse to better speak with the man, “I am princess Elsa of Arendelle and I’m here to speak with a trade minister of your city.”
The man stared back at her and thought for a few moments. It was pretty obvious that this woman was either a real princess or someone that was really good at pretending to be one. He looked through the few bags that Elsa had brought along with her and found no weaponry whatsoever so he figured that there was no harm letting her in.
“Everything looks alright to me,” he continued, “however we’re going to need you to wear an identification bracelet. It lets people know that you’re an outsider and will give the authorities a means of tracking you to make sure you’re not doing anything unseemly.”
Elsa nodded in appreciation as she held out her wrist to receive the bracelet. This was all so odd to her; where she was from, almost anyone could enter the kingdom. Then again, it wasn’t anywhere near the size of this city and the guards had always been able to handle ruffians with ease. After finally being put in ‘the system’ and equipped with her ID bracelet, Elsa mounted her horse and continued into the city.
Now that she was inside, she really didn’t know where to go next… So she would just wander around for a few hours and try to get to know the place a little better. Perhaps she would meet a few interesting characters.
