He'd embark immediately, there was no telling how long this Kiyoshi fella had been loose. At least he thought that was the name, Happī hadn't actually read through the whole report, as he hated anything which involved reading... though it would appear to have been useful now. Shrugging off the slight feeling of stupidity, the youth sprang forth, his body arched forward and his arms dropped back. His eyes would dart from house to house as his search began.

Seconds turn to minuets, and minuets to hours, and yet the youth had still failed to pick up any trace of his target. He began to regret taking on such a troublesome mission without giving it any serious thought. Though the term serious wasn't something often said when referring to Kiryū. As his mind would often stray from the tasks he'd been set upon, a feature which often earned him a scolding from his superiors. The thought of which spun his stomach into knots, though perhaps it was simply hunger.

It had been hours since his last meal, and remembering that the gates were guarded; he'd decide to take a quick break. Entering one of the villages ramen shops, he'd order the most appetizing meal on the menu. Though just before the waitress would leave with his order, the ruckus of yelling was heard from behind the kitchen door. Apparently there was some type of dispute interfering with the cooks ability to make his lunch.

He'd wait patiently for a few seconds, until hearing the slamming of pots and pans, followed by more yelling. It was than he knew something wasn't right, those weren't the sounds of a cook preparing a patron's meal. Figuring it was some simple argument between coworkers, Happī crept into the kitchen in hopes of ending the quarrel, and maybe earning himself a free meal. Yet to his surprise, it turned out not to be two cooks fighting. But a singular cook trying to fight off a would-be thief.

A grin swept across his face, as he instantly recognized the thief's face from a picture attached to the mission statement. It hadn't dawned on him to check stores and restaurants, as ninja weren't usually permitted to enter homes and such to conduct searches. Though luck had smiled upon him now, he knew his snarling stomach would be forced to wait till later. But with Kiyoshi standing before him, Happī could feel the weight of his purse growing by the second.
