Well as the title says I'm new, just with a two year old account lol. Kinda screwed myself here, had an existing account... deleted it... left for a while... came back and made this one. Than got orders to deploy, spent just shy of a year training everyday, and now I'm about half way through the deployment and just found a place with half way decent wifi. lol hard to believe I'd travel to the other side of the planet and still have the urge to come back here. I believe my calculations were correct, if you add them strait down it comes out to 1750exp spent. The great fireball technique is added twice, as in the initial jutsu plus once more for the additional damage. I've redone the math twice now and I come to the same conclusion.

Usually facilitated with some sort of distraction (smoke bomb, explosion, or something of that nature to obscure one's vision), the user of the Shunpo can, in some cases, appear to have simply teleported from one location to another. The user can Shunpo once per thread, plus once more each time retrained. One cannot attack or perform techniques during Shunpo. Description: Shunpo, a Taijutsu master's response to the Body Flicker Technique, relies solely on the user's ability to harness their inner ki and gain enough stamina to withstand the sudden strain imposed on one's legs. However, once properly trained, the Taijutsu Type will find their legs moving at speeds unknown to common man, to the point most would make the foolish mistake of assuming one is using Shunshin. However, unlike that chakra inspired run, Shunpo is pure stamina and movement skill, allowing for tighter, quicker, and more reactionary movements essential for someone that relies on movement. Shunpo-Tweh (Light Step Retreat) Rank: B Type: Passive / Taijutsu / High-Speed Movement Range: Shunpo! Stamina: -- Special: Gives the user the option to perform a Shunpo backwards. Description: Although Shunpo is normally executed in a linear fashion, with enough training, the Taijutsu Master can learn to limit their forward travel speed in exchange for a near-instantaneous backwards move. Shunpo-Jin (Light Step Advance) Rank: B Type: Passive / Taijutsu / High-Speed Movement Range: Shunpo! Description: When fighting against another Taijutsu user, Tenjouken users find that the best defense is in a good offense. That is, when they are put on the defense, they instead attack. Shougeki! (Crash!) Rank: C Type: Offensive / Taijutsu Range: Self Stamina: Mid Special: --- Description: Immediately following 'Shuugeki!' the Tenjouken practitioner grabs onto their target. Usually, this is done near the shoulders on whatever their opponent is wearing, but anywhere will do; then, instead of mounting them (as this can be dangerous considering possible weaponry, ninjutsu, and genjutsu), they tuck their legs in just underneath them and over the body of their enemy. Agehibari (Soaring Skylark) Rank: B Type: Defensive / Offensive / Taijutsu Range: Self Stamina: High Special: 175% speed boost gained during dodge. Each time used in succession, the speed boost is reduced by 25%. A full turn without using this jutsu will reset the speed boost back to the default amount. Description: A simple technique in which the user either leaps, steps, or rolls to the side. The focus with this technique is on the dodge itself, and therefore it has no offensive use on its own. Hien (Flight of the Swallow) Rank: B Type: Supplementary / Taijutsu Range: Self Stamina: Mid Special: Allows the user to change momentum and jump in midair, and adds a 150% speed boost to the second jump. Can be used once per jump, plus one more each time retrained. Description: By kicking against the air and utilizing chakra similar to the way it is used when walking on water, the user is able to "double jump." This can be used in any direction, for a second upward boost, to alter momentum midair to avoid an attack, or even upwards to plummet to the ground with a boost of momentum. Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique) Rank: E Type: Supplementary / Ninjutsu Range: 0 - 5 meters Handseals: No. Chakra: Very Low Special: Switch is near-instantaneous. Kawarimi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. However, the technique itself can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals. Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique) Rank: E Type: Supplementary / Ninjutsu Range: 0 - 5 meters Handseals: Yes. Chakra: Very Low Special: Allows the user to create a clone without substance that resembles the user in every way, including retaining its movement speed. Clones cannot mold chakra nor perform jutsu, nor can they harm. Up to one clone can be made, plus one more each time retrained. Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance that, although easily seen through by those with doujutsu, can fool the normal eye easily. Why? Genin – Genin are the lowest of ninja skill levels, possessing a knowledge of all the basic ninja skills. Shinobi of this rank are allowed lower ranked missions normally, unless a higher ranked ninja acts as their 'chaperon' for tougher tasks. Genin are put in four-man cells with typically a Chuunin or Jounin sensei in order to learn teamwork and experience true ninja life under the supervision and protection of an elite shinobi. Once the Genin has successfully undertaken their village's required amount of missions, they can be sponsored by their sensei for the Chuunin Exam.
Exuberant and proud, though these may be traits which coincide with ones personality. They are in key with your outer appearance, you cannot accurately judge another by their apparel, but their composure or expressions will give insight to any aspect of their inner being. With this initial intake, Kieran's outlook is that of any other hormone driven adolescent. He'll boast a cocky posture, as though he'd consider himself all knowing; but his eyes give way to an eagerness to learn, signaling his need to better himself.
Scars located across his chest and back signal defeat, and therefor humility. Allowing him to comprehend many of the worlds higher functions and dangers. Are samurai just fuc*ed when it comes to genjutsu, are they immune, or is there some other outcome? Seeing how samurai cannot form hand-seals, kai is useless. After reading through the genjutsu section, as well as the samurai; I figured the question had to be asked. If it's been answered before, my bad. The only way it appears for samurai to negate the effects of illusions is via pain. So are they forced to break a finger or what not every time a jutsu is cast? Or does their seal auto-magically render the cast illusion useless, seeing how it constantly outputs a surge of chakra. Could someone clarify this for me...?
Nukite (貫手; "Crossbeam Hand") Rank: B, A, S. Type: Ninjutsu. Range: 5 meters. Chakra: High - massive Special: The initial learning of this jutsu only supports the Four-Finger Nukite. Additional training is required for those who wish to attain further mastery. This jutsu can be used once (1) per thread. Description: Following a series of hand-seals, the user will concentrate a considerable amount of lightning based chakra to their dominant hand. With their four pointer fingers extended, the charged chakra will take the form of a four pronged 'claw'; completely engulfing the users hand. Allowing an extremely powerful attack to be used fighting within the bounds of close quarters combat. The claw allows the user to chop, slash, or pierce targets with ease. Acting some what like a sword or other bladed weapon, though it present considerable force. This is to be considered a prized technique of the hidden cloud.
