"Good, you're getting the hang of it."
"Oh, why thank you! It means so much to me." Hina snapped back, gritting her teeth against the pain.
Just like she said, Yoru eventually 'taught' Hinamori how to use Shunpo. Admittedly her teaching methods are rather questionable, preferring to simply describe the technique in question and sit back and let the student figure it out on her own. This way Hina would find her own style and would feel that much more confident once she actually got it all down.
Said Genin climbed to her feet, her nerves lighting up like Christmas lights and pain lanced through her body. With a pained shout she fell to the ground.
"Hm... It seems we've hit your limit." Yoru noted casually, filing her nails. "Any more and your legs will tear apart." she added.
Hina gasped in response, less out of surprise and more out of desperate oxygen gathering. Her lungs drank it all in greedily.
"Fuck... You." she managed between gasps.
Yoru chuckled at that, standing and walking over to her downed student. "Don't be like that. You know I love you, Hina-chaaaan~" she giggled, patting the girl on her back. "Besides," she added. "You did it!"
Hina grunted again, this time because she was too tired to bother talking. Forming words just seemed to difficult all of a sudden. But she knew Yoru wasn't making fun of her this time, she felt it. That last one, while still shoddy, was Shunpo.
It was surprisingly hard to deal with.
She had been moving so fast when it happened and it ended so quickly she barely got the chance to see everything. But now that she was done and had time to sit, or lay in this case, and think about it she could remember most of it.
Actually, there was nothing to see. When she went into the Shunpo, everything just moved. Her body, the ground, the sky, everything. It was all moving so faster around her that her eyes couldn't catch everything, all she could see was the world as a massive blur. The colors blended together, the ground rushed past her.
It was like flying.
Yet, while everything was a blur, she could still tell where she was going and where she would end up.
And her legs, oh gods her legs. Every cell in her legs and thighs burned painfully, even more than before. At least she knew it would only make her stronger in the long run.
"So..." she croaked. "What's next?"
Yoru grinned.
"More Shunpo! Yay~!"
"Please go die..."
