The boys action showed no hesitation, serving as a stark contrast to his still-wavering features, lips forming into a frown as his hands begun seals simultaneously with Seigen. The antecedently rising sand, above Haman, upon completion, formed into a circle of thirty sharp and tiny bullets descending at the Uchiha from above at an arc. The circle, with a diameter of seven meters achieved through the numerous iron sand creations, was not formidably large, but moved at a dazzlingly rapid velocity towards Seigen.

The wary gazes that watched the Uchiha chose not to interfere, but their hushed whispers rung through the night, words scarcely audible. Like Hasan they betrayed a certain hesitation – revealed through their wavering voice in this case. While the words were indistinguishable, the voices belonged to children, the sound dry and raspy. Something was afoot – this attack was more than a spontaneous, insignificant assault

Even after the bullets formed from the iron sand, the Satetsu continued to flow, covering the field ahead. Not only that, but immediately after the bullets were created, his hands continued with a second series of seals. Hasan seemed rather desperate in his assault – for some reason, yet to be relieved, he was quite eager to eliminate Seigen.

Special: Range of the bullets depends on the user's highest 'Jiton Ryuuken' rank. These bullets can pierce defenses of c-rank and below (armor included). Up to five (5) bullets can be made, plus five more each time retrained up to a maximum of thrity (30). These bullets can only travel in a straight line.
Description: This gunshot-like attack uses Iron Sand, hardened into rounded bullet-like structures, to attack simultaneously across a vast range. These bullets, despite being created of iron powder, are fairly fast. From the moment the user has finished preparing the attack, evading it becomes extremely difficult. Using the repellent force of magnetism, the speed of the bullets is rapidly increased after they are shot. Furthermore, the user can also use an attack pattern where the Iron Sand bullets are shaped into sharp needles, increasing their ability to wound or kill the enemy.

The colossal wave of shuriken roared forth, eager to impale flesh and tear them into ribbons. What has he gotten himself in to? Jiyuu did not even know these men, yet he fought at their side. Was he truly so desperate that he lived a scoundrels life, of needless risk and aimless acts? The decisions of these last days concluded to nothing, except for what appeared to be an impending death. The entirety of Jiyuu’s body scattered into numerous sheets of paper, the shuriken –at least those who hit – presumably passed through harmlessly, as they were not so different from the physical strikes to which the Paper Angel’s were immune. He soared downward, flew and flew, senses reaching out even in this paper form, spotting the grate, to which he flew all the more hastily. Some moments passed before he reached the gate, attempting to squeeze through, still in paper form – much more elastic than he could be in human shape.

Emiya and Moeru simply did not matter for the moment. Jiyuu was a coward, for now only his safety mattered – their fate irrelevant unless he first saves himself. The Shikigami travelled the world, longing for redemption – seeking some absolution for crimes of times long gone. So far, the journey was futile, for as he attempted to flee, the Sandaime Hokage sinned yet again.

Hatoronshi no Kami (Crafting Paper Skill); S; 1/5 Uses

A frightened family of three hid between two tends, huddled together and shivering in terror as the Shikigami strode past, grey eyes gleaming as he stared. The first child was a boy of fourteen, black haired and strong built. The second was his elder sister, at least in her twenties, with a well-developed figured covered in war-torn rags. Jiyuu matched glances with the mother, a fair, blond haired woman with shining dark green eyes. Tears strolled down her cheeks as, for but a moment, Jiyuu stood, dazzled by hear beauty. Those wide eyes, even as they burned with terror, captivated him. She was a Konohagaure citizen. Jiyuu had seen her in the village before. Why was she with these refugees? In a flash, his hands formed two seals, sending a single shuriken at her feet. Smoke covered her wide, green eyes. The smoke of an exploding shuriken. She and her children were no more.

Jiyuu looked too the Airontoku, acknowledging his companion with a nod. Kiyoshi was a powerful man whose very touch harnessed a force fierier than Hell’s scorching flames. Yasui too, was a formidable man, anointed eyes, the artifacts of the first men who could see as no others could see. In the generations to come, the children will read oftheir myths, as we have read myths of times long past.

Was there a purpose to all this? He asked himself, as the crimson marks of blood stained his kunai all the deeper when he strode on, passing judgment as no man should. Was it truly Jiyuu’s place to decide who must die for the greater good? Glancing backwards, five bodies laid, last breath drawn with their necks impaled. One minutes had passed. Gritting his teeth, a shiver ran down Jiyuu’s spine as the bodies lied limp. Five dead in one minutes? There was no resistance, no will to fight, only fear as they simply awaited their deaths at the Shikigami’s hand. They simply could not understand what in the hells was happening. Simply being slaughtered like diseased cattle by a detached farmer, hurrying along to get the task done. The events at this refugee seemed nothing but a sick, twisted carnival of spite. Jiyuu prayed that these fallen, in the life beyond, will forgive him. It was for a purpose. A righteous purpose, Jiyuu thought to himself as his right hand ran across the stolen Iwagakure headband. Jiyuu gave them martyrdom.

These three bound together to ensure that the future is one man wants. Hence, they formed Enstehung. The name, meaning origin, seemed ironic – nay, sardonic, at times like these, when they kill. It stood for something greater, too Jiyuu at least. It stood for an origin known to all, the corruption of the human spawned from the womb of original sin - when man learned what it means to want and know to want. Pride. Disgrace. Bliss. Misery. Resolve. Despair. Some say Enstehung stands for that. Nay, it stands for the final broth of those heights and low of man – it represent the truest form of what this world has become – the realm of war itself. Enstehung symbolized what men will become if they continue to live as they do. Only by showing the world just that can they change. That is why they kill, Jiyuu thought to himself as he turned on his heel, facing away from the ruthlessly executed victims.

A struggles ensues…?

Only six tents were left, the remaining refugees hid, uncertain whether to flee or stay. It seemed as if their ends were to be delayed, for three figures dashed across the horizon, moving so fast the eye could barely follow. Within an instant they arrived in the camp, eyes gleaming with the pride of a predator, the smugness of a hunter that has cornered it’s pray, their leader tauntingly releasing a kunai at Jiyuu’s chest, the throw naught but an arrogant gesture. The soldier stood still as the kunai struck true. The Shikigami’s chest morphed into paper as the kunai continued to fly. The tools of man were inconsequential to the paper angels.

Eerie. Why do three men assail them out of nowhere? They were clad in green and brown, to blend with the land, faces covered by masks covered in esoteric, ink-drawn ruins. The strangeness further blossomed as Jiyuu drew in the figures of the apparent challengers. They were too similar– the three men’s physique seemed almost identical – lithe and muscled, their every bend the same. The trio moved with a graze and discipline that put Jiyuu ill at lease; their movement seemed utterly lifeless, painstakingly mechanical as their muscled jerked and tensed, joints twisting like that of a puppet. They breathed. They were no marionettes, not guided by the dancing fingers of a puppeteer; they were greater than that. Men bred for war. Eerie. Truly eerie. No one should have known about Enstehung’s incursion into Hi no Kuni, and this camp was too remote for reinforcements to arrive this quickly. Someone knew of Enstehung’s plan, and that someone wanted them dead. That is why these foes arrived so suddenly. They were a hit squad. Mercenaries. Just like Enstehung.

Certainly many factions wanted to destroy Enstehung, but the plans never reached fruition, for the group remained well hidden, donning a new disguise for every mission. No one should know they were here, and that someone who wanted them dead knew just that. Unbeknownst to Jiyuu, this…unknown malefactor has watched them for a long, long time. This was an enemy of whom they did not know, stalking their every step. Doom awaited them.

I have removed the ability for Senshi Busou to extend. If staff prefers it, I will also remove Nuru Higyou's ability to stretch the fist.

My justification for Senshi Busou are below, in regards to what it has to do with Shikigami. I understand if staff does not agree with them, and if it is still a problem after my explanation, I'll remove the technique. I apologize for the lengthy explanation, but it was necessary that I covered all points:

From the Shikigami clan description:







They possess the ability to freely shape the paper for the use of projectiles, and the Shikigami also possess the ability to manipulate their physique, as they can turn into paper, and can even create extensions to their physique, as shown by the creation of paper wings.

It has to do with the Shikigami in the sense that they are not stepping out of the boundaries of what the Kekke Genkai focuses on, the manipulation of paper for both physical advantages, and to use it in place of weaponry. Instead of manipulating the paper to use as a projectile, Senshi Busou creates a weapon to expand upon their physical limitations in a similar way to Paper Angel Wings, allowing them to what their body otherwise could not through the use of paper - flying in the case of the example above. As further evidence that the technique fits thematically I use Kami no Hitoku (Concealment of Paper) as an example, which allows the Shikigami to change their physique, distorting their body as they change dimensions, showing that the Shikigami also focus on the manipulation of their body.

Essentially, Shikigami do not only create projectiles, but use their malleable paper form and the Paper Angel wings to accomplish things their body otherwise could not.

To summarize. I believe that turning their arms into paper weapons can be justified because it employs the same concept mentioned above, making full use of their natural ability to change their physique, and using that to do what their body cannot do naturally and also sticks with the theme that they use their paper in place of weaponry. In this case, it combines those two ideas, manipulating their physique and employing the paper as weaponry.

Special: Takes one use of Hatoronshi no Kami’s ability to turn a Shikigami’s limb into paper. For one more use of Hatoronoshi no Kami and an additional x1 mid chakra, the Shikigami can transform the second arm. The arm remains hard for only one turn, plus one additional turn for every time retrained to a maximum of five, at which the chakra consumption increases to x2 Mid. As it simply transforms a limb into paper, which is natural for the Shikigami, this technique requires no chakra to maintain. While active, the user cannot perform any techniques which require hand seals, nor can they maintain any techniques which drain chakra per turn to stay in effect. The arm can extend up to one meter in a straight line, plus an additional half a meter for every time retrained, to a maximum of three. Cannot be used on a limb that has been struck by katon, suiton, or their respective sub-elements. After the technique is deactivated (either by will or when the turn limit has been used), neither Nuru Higyou nor Senshi Busou can be used for one turn.
Description: Nuru Higyou is an unusual technique for the Shikigami as it does not use the advantage of their ability to fight over incredibly long ranges, and instead risks the danger of hand to hand combat, as it was designed specifically for taijutsu. The ability to turn one’s limbs into paper through the use of Hatoronshi no Kami is a basic ability of the Shikigami; while quite versatile, it is limited in its ability to directly cause damage. The transformation of a limb into paper, through the aforementioned Hatoronshi no Kami is so simple to perform that it requires virtually no effort on the Paper Angel’s part. Hence Nuru Higyou was created, to build upon the simplicity of their most basic ability, not much more complex than the skill upon which it is build. The user pours additional chakra into the transformed arm, granting it the same hardness and sharpness as steel. As the arm consists of numerous sheets, it is capable of stretching, and stretches as fast as a kunai flies.

Duration depends on the amount of times Nuru Higyou has been retrained. While active, the user cannot perform any techniques which require hand seals, nor can they maintain any techniques which drain chakra per turn to stay in effect. If the technique is retrained a single time, the user can turn the second arm into a weapon, but this costs an additional mid amount of chakra and takes an additional use of Hatoronshi no Kami. As it simply transforms a limb into paper, which is natural for the Shikigami, this technique requires no chakra to maintain. Cannot be used on a limb that has been struck by katon, suiton, or their respective sub-elements.After the technique is deactivated (either by will or when the turn limit has been used), neither Nuru Higyou nor Senshi Busou can be used for two turns. The weaponized limb cannot be transformed into any other Shikigami paper creation.
Description: Instead of simply turning an arm into paper, the Shikigami takes the concept of Nuru Higyou even further, and transforms the limb directly into a weapon of choice, capable of cutting like steel. Senshi Busou can imitate only primary weapons.

It is capable of cutting like steel, and is as hard as steel, meaning that it is capable of accomplishing feats such as deflecting projectiles, or parrying weapons such as swords and axes. Should the arm come into contact with katon, suiton, or their sub-elements, it falls apart, and the limb returns to their original, flesh form. As the Shikigami are naturally resilient to taijutsu and the likes, if a more powerful weapon cuts or breaks the weaponized limb, the arm simply turns back into its true, human form.

Jiyuu was uncertain of what triggered that folly – revealing himself in the open – when the strength of shinobi lies in subtlety. Hubris? Or indifference towards the ultimate fate? The man trotted through the world with a grim frown, the sins of the past weighing heavily upon his shoulder. At times, Jiyuu believed to find absolution in death, and at other times, hoped for redemption through justice. None of that truly mattered to him. He denied the truth. The affirmation that the struggle gave him life.

As Jiyuu could clearly see the victim, he decided to employ a technique taught to him by the ANBU. Interlocking his fingers, the Shikigami formed the seal of the serpent, formed as his moderate run forwards began. The dirt around Kaku stirred, circling around him, hiding the true purpose of the technique as the chakra attempted to manipulate the senses to impart an image of utter horror upon the foes mind. Its effect of course, was purely illusionary, but the advantage laid in the intrusive nature of Narakumi no Jutsu, calling forth one of the targets greatest terrors. As soon as Jiyuu finished, which took only moments as it required but a single seal, he reached into his pouch to pull forth two shuriken. With a flick of both wrists, the Shikigami threw the projectiles, their gray metal covered by the white sheets wrapped around them.

When the sun’s light fell upon them, two lines seemed to glitter behind the shuriken as they crossed paths at ten meters, one lower than the other, approaching Kaku from the left and right. With the effects of the illusion, the shuriken became yet another problem - a slightly more troublesome one at that.

Description: Magen • Narakumi no Jutsu is a specialized Genjutsu technique utilized by ANBU to instill fear into their targets, either for combat or interrogation. The illusion is so strong that it essentially causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ANBU will use the serpent hand seal to cause a circle of leaves or any loose particles nearby to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Once cast the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion.

Sōshuriken no Jutsu (Manipulated Shuriken Technique) [50 Exp][Learned Twice]

Special: The user is able to manipulate one wire and shuriken, and another each time it is retrained, every fifth retraining the consumption goes up. The range of the technique depends on the length of the wires used.
Description: With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it. An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite.
