His expression was cute, not quite the feelings I expected to have concerning my senpai. Of course he was just feigning it, I was sure he was flirting. Yet instead of maintaining his position, he decided to join me at my table. He sat across from me, staring into my eyes which I couldn't help but return his gaze. There was something...different about this 'jounin', I couldn't put my finger on it but then, the proximity between us was...too close for comfort. To be able to feel his breath against me, kind of gave me the chills. His words, sprinkled in truth despite what I felt to be flirting tactics, was a reminder to keep my expression apathetic. It was rare that I even expressed such emotions on my visage as it was, though concern for my beauty was...not on my priority list.

Though what I didn't expect was for physical intimacy between us. His digits traversing my cheek, causing my skin to heat up as a pink hue tainted my features. My eyes began to look away to prevent revealing any further expression to this man. His words were like a deadly tranquilizer, coming out in a near whisper but once more he spoke of the "truth", even going as far to provide advice concerning how to 'prevent' wrinkles. At that moment I sighed, "Thanks for the tip senpai, though you don't look the type to be infatuated with the preservation of beauty, so what's your real intention?" I'd point with the arm opposite the cheek he touched with his fingers and thumb.

"It's not like we've even reached first base yet." I'd then extend my hand out across the table towards him.

"Hoshi Arashi and you are?" it was at that moment that the waiter whom messed up my order FINALLY got to me with the correct order. My eyes diverted to gaze at him via a sideways glance, I'd then close my eyes as my lips parted to speak: "Thanks. In the future, please be more careful." Said waiter bowed several times to express his sincere apology. Once he left I'd take a dango stick and place one towards my mouth. Had this place not served the best dango in the village, I'd probably have stormed off like my name.

Fighting was the destiny of all those whom claimed to be Shinobi. I however was not forced into the lineage of Shinobi, I chose it. My existence began in the New World as we now call it, in the Whirlpool country. My family had fled to Konohagakure for protection, since they offered it, I felt compelled to protect Hi no Kuni by becoming a ninja. This was where I was now, within the forests of Hi no Kuni, having just completed a mission. I was told to be aware of suspicious personnel, supposedly they were guised as Leaf Ninja or perhaps the village was bored and simply desired to fight. Restlessness was quite a disease, one I found myself succumbing to from time to time. The dusty trail that I followed lead me into a tight area. It was 35 meters by 35 meters. There was but one straight forward trail, with any hope to off branch from it resulting in thick grass and tightly packed tres. Said trees went up so far, it felt as if they touched the sky.

It was atop one of these trees that I made my merry way, until I took note of a young man on the ground. He seemed to be awaiting company, it was hard to make him out due to my positoning but considering his body language, he expected a fight...he held a pose of confidence. Well, I was uncertain if he expected a fight other than speculation, however being a kunoichi; I intended to get the drop on this one. I was crouched down on a branch, my black cloak masking most of my body as I became hidden within the scarce leaves. I did well to stay on the shadow that the sun casted, though my sheer height advantage alone was probably all I needed.

"Let's get this party started."

We'd met twice now, both times unknowingly due to taking on the same missions. Well no, that was a little inaccurate; the second time I at least knew he'd be along for the ride. Regardless I told him I needed his expertise and I meant it. I've been saving my ryo for two weapons, specialized to call my own for combat. I already utilized my trusty scythe, earning my nickname Shinigami no Arashi, the Death God of Storms or Storm Soul Reaper respectively. My newest goodies would further my alias, enabling different kinds of deaths.

For the craftsmen, I'd have him create the following weapons:

Of course I had at least sketched out the basics for these weapons, I was no expert in the ways of making it lethal and balanced. For this, I would rely upon Konoha's Raging Lion. We'd completed the mission and so I'd wait here out in the country side for him. I guess I didn't want anyone from the village to catch wind of my newfound tools or maybe I just liked being out in the forest. Regardless this is where we'd meet to do business.

There was no surprise that Hotaruko had called out to me eagerly, she even called me by her little pet name. While to the ordinary eye I had simply continued to speak with our client, my eyes had acknowledged her when she called out to me, albeit subtley. While I had an "image" to uphold, it wasn't exactly the real me. I guess this is the result of the academy days. Regardless I had to focus on the client and I was rewarded with the information I requested. He wanted to visit a river, there were quite a few of those scattered throughout Hi no Kuni. One of which came in from the ocean side, from Mizu no Kuni's direction.

The one he was refering to was a rather long river that came from up north, moving through the Valley of the End. Though we wouldn't need to go so far thankfully, the river really was that large, with lots of bends along the way. Naturally the overly-chipper genin had no qualms with a third member joining us. We'd thus be a temporary cell, at least for this mission. Surely thanks to war time measures, we'd been teamed up with a wide variety of the village's genin by now. My importantly, I was glad she acknowledged that she shouldn't be worried about the small fry. I'd simply close my eyes, focusing on my ears in order to pick up the sound of the river.

However something else seemed to have invaded my mind's eye instead, the rustling of bushes and the feint tap of bark, we certainly weren't alone but it'd be hard to identify the source. Thus I remained calm, seeking to elevate my own senses further. Upon the swift landing or rather the jump I'd take note that our "third" had arrived, without bothering to open my eyes. He introduced himself with the very alias he gave me prior. He seemed to be really fond of the name, titles were very serious in our world, they grew with someone, akin to a mark of pride. My own blue eyes would reveal themself as he concluded his introduction. His own gaze now met my own as he flashed a smile. I'd nod back, my usual apathetic expression remained, yet as always, my subtle display occured by way of my eyes. It would seem they "smiled" for me, though briefly as he stated how we'd met again.

The more I saw of Shishitaros, the more I figured he was quite the character. Yet as I racked my brain for information, I really didn't recall seeing him in the academy. Then as the years of the war went by, I didn't recall ever crossing paths with him. This was no surprise, Konoha's army was rather large. We'd been practically forcing people through the academy during the war. If they possesed even a bit of skill it was enough, that's how dire things were. Regardless he too was a professional and focused his sights on our client. He was stern in his approach, perhaps the feelings of an artist were being conveyed through their conversation.

The old man didn't mind, though it seemed as if he neglected my comrades warning. Though he had much to do with his time and I concured that we should get moving before the sun set. As always, Hotaruko was all too happy to assist, so I let her play heroine/goodie twoshoes, whilst I focused on the "shinobi" aspect of this mission. I took one last look around so that I could be satisfied before being called out for. She was ready to move and thus I'd follow, albeit taking up the right side. My ears would simply listen out for the direction of the river because I didn't have a world map, something I'd remember to purchase. However my sense of direction was strong, so ultimately I must have ended up leading them to the spot.

It was a little clearing, practically a hidden vista within the forests of Hi no Kuni. The river flowed rapidly through, fish seemed to occassionaly flip out of the water, only to be snatched by flying hawks. Simple wild life and I was grateful larger animals hadn't come by...yet. No doubt the artist would pick a spot to setup, thus I decided to make sure the area was secured by way of a perimeter scan. My senses didn't feel encouraged because logic dictated we should at least have seen some deer, the Nara clan tended to the many herds which migrated around the country, though this seemed like a perfect spot to hit up amongst the migration.

Thus I ended up perched close to the river, scanning it carefully. The depth of this river was quite astonishing, I couldn't see the river bed at all! However before I could bat my eye, I saw large ripples within the river, the flow of water was coming from right to left, yet the ripples were coming from left to right. Before we had the chance to even take another breath, something very large jumped out of the water. It was...a huge...and I do mean huge, aquatic creature. Well, it'd be appropriate to call it a fish but it was quite...different. I don't think I'd seen this type of fish before at all. It was...large, like...four feet wide large. It was aggresively pursuing a small fish which flipped out of the water. Safe to say that said fish was snatched within its jaws.

I'd at least make clear of the river, after being splashed from the the fish crashing down. Sliding back somewhat, I'd proceed to formulate four handseals, my left eye began to glow with the hint of chakra. I had a feeling we'd become fisherman real soon...
