The academy was just as she remembered it. Wooden floors, low ceiling and a large complex in general. Many classrooms were on either side of the hallway and at the very end of said hallway, it would open up to a left and a right where the left led to the instructors' offices and the right housed training grounds for aspiring Genins. The hallway was bustling with activity as usual given the time of day. It wasn't time for classes yet but it was almost and many students would be chatting outside their respective classrooms waiting for the official start to their long day of knowledge enriching. She weeded through the crowd and was met with curious glances. It was true, she was no longer an academy student and with her headband tightly tied on her forehead it felt slightly awkward to come back to this place. Though she assumed that there were many Genins who would come back to train.
The young woman veered left as she reached the end of the hallway, stopping outside the second door. She took a deep breath and knocked, a rap of two knocks. A muffled voice from inside the room allowed her permission to enter. Turning the door handle, the first thing that would meet her eye would be a rather interesting looking plant, which she guessed was a favorite of the white haired man who was sitting behind an oak wood desk. The look on his face radiated fatigue, as she would have guessed from all the trouble that the students had been having this year. The enrollment rate was increasing steadily but not many of those who enroll actually meet the standards or can keep them. It was great the there were so many aspiring students wanting to become shinobi and also some of their parents who want their children to stay loyal to the village while earning a paycheck every week. But now it wasn't as easy as it sounded and students were struggling, some having given up when the struggling became too much for them. However, there was still the selected few, one which will be the student in her mission, who the instructors believe may still have a chance to be 'saved' per say. The thing about being a student was that it wasn't about talent or whatnot, but based on hard work.
”You are Evangeline?” The young girl would give a bow and approach the desk, nearing the distance between herself and the old man. She felt bad for him that he had to struggle so much. It was only natural that she had never thought about becoming an academy teacher herself. Not only did she not have the patience, but she also didn't think she could stand being swamped with students, paperwork and being housed in this building for more than an hour every day. The purple haired kunoichi adjusted her kimono slightly with her hands as the instructor was searching through his piles for a file. Apparently the boy she was going to teach had a file...like a student record, she presumed. Evangeline wondered what sort of technique she would want to teach the boy, as she hardly knew what level he was at, only that he was failing. ”Here is your mission. The boy's name is Koji. He has not been doing so well in the Taijutsu section of the curriculum and as part of the mission you must teach a C rank jutsu to him in the Taijutsu section. It can be anything you like and want. But he [i[must
She took the file that was handed to her and read it over quickly. There wasn't really much to look at as it was just a standard student profile. The young girl was still thinking when she asked the instructor for a Universal Taijutsu scroll which she knew all instructors kept in their offices. On the scrolls were jutsu names and descriptions for reference. Her repertoire was not exactly sufficient enough for her to teach anyone C rank and she hardly wanted to teach multi-ranked jutsus since it meant that she would have to teach him the D rank prerequisite. Evangeline was in a lazy mood at the moment and so she searched for Universal Tajutsu. There was one that seemed fun at least for a child. But the catch was that she would have to learn the technique herself first since she hadn't ever seen this jutsu before until that moment. The girl knew that if she wanted a child to learn something it had to either be a fun technique or there had to be a fun way to learn it. Since she couldn't possibly think of fun ways to learn any jutsu, she was going to settle for the former option. Tapping the scroll lightly, she motioned to the man before her. ”I will teach him this one, sensei.” She was pretty confident in her skills, hoping that confidence will not backfire.
Knowing her though...it probably would[/blockquote]
