As the young woman walked in, I allowed my physical frame to follow suit. Motioning behind her, the caprice of concern fading upon the sealing of the standard oak that blockaded all outside interference. From here, it would just be me and the brunette, a room filled with anxiety—yet not of the pessimistic typicality. It was a sensation I hadn’t personally experienced in the prime of my youthful life, nonetheless it was something I’d have to actively deal with through the remainder of this jaunt. Heeding the words of my mother, and the values of my uncle, I’d stay vigilant—even more so in the face of a possible threat.
Nonetheless, I’d come off as physically calm. An art easily perfected with the years of meticulous training beneath my mentors and forefathers. I was in complete control of my emotion state, and as such my posture would suffer none from my cerebral awareness. With the door closed, and all sounds ensnared within the confines of my room, I would proceed to push in the back of the Mizukage’s chair; a curiosity not many in the Shinobi world offered upon meetings. This in itself would transition into me taking a seat in my own respective chair behind the grand oak desk.
“Hozuki Masumi? It’s a pleasure to meet you (formally at least). I’m Uchiha Ryūsuke, the Shodaime Hokage,” formalities placed aside, the sincerity of her surname intrigued me. She was from the clan Hozuki? This itself had already given me quick the understanding of the nature of her abilities, or at least an assumption for now. Information of this nature however wouldn’t need to be exploited. Civility was the best strategy when handling such diplomatic matters. Hands clasped loosely together, I allowed a more accommodating atmosphere to surface as a pleasant smile slid across my full lips. While she was indeed a beauty, it wouldn’t sway my mindset, or my ability to both comprehend and react."How can I help you?"
