”Good, you’re not and idiot after all. Except, I can’t believe you couldn’t discern my real agenda within my broken words. It doesn’t really matter as you’ll be coming with me. Consider this your invitation if you still need to know to what I’ll be severely disappointed.”
The strange man turned and began moving against the wind towards Amon's own home he had long since seen; Tetsu no Kuni. The man was strangely outlandish in his appearance, his weapons were idols to others, and he had just tested Takumi with his words in a strange way. It was painfully obvious that Amon had at last drawn the eyes of the samurai and this representative had been sent to fetch him and test him. It was all happening so fast though Amon could hardly believe it as he watched the man move further away.
It then hit him that there was simply no time to think too hard on the matter and simply follow the samurai wherever he was travelling. There would likely be more tests along the way so Amon prepared himself mentally steeling his emotions of excitement and taking off after the strange man. This was going to be his chance, perhaps his only chance, to prove himself worthy of joining the dying rare breed of legends. He dare not think of what would happen if he got accepted and what would be expected of him yet, for these were distracting thoughts that would cause him to lose his focus. No he needed to maintain a mindset in the here and the now, and right now he was following a man with a teddy bear head for the chance of a life time.
He raced off behind the man his steel geta clacking gently as his feet pounded the earth to follow the man. His hair rustled and blew in nimbus formations constantly shifting with the winds as his headband trailed serpentining through the air to as if to keep up with his enthusiasm. Every step brought him closer and closer to his destiny, he could feel it stirring inside him. Something that had been small and slowly growing and maturing into what was now a roaring flame of determination and drive to grasp at the legendary title and training he so fervently sought out.
