When Kenji suggested the way Muu spoke be all part of some joke, Muu was struck off guard a bit. Looking at Kenji, the tired face expressing a sort of perplexed look of thought and question, as if he wasn’t sure what he was asking. Then as the silence ensued and Muu watched the boy preform a technique, his expression changed. When Kenji had his attention on his jutsu Muu’s eyes sharpened to display more keen understanding then anyone ahd seen from him. He knew the technique the other guy was utilizing, and it was a clever move on his part for scanning the initial area. Muu liked the kid already.

As he asked about something to eat, Muus tired and somewhat bored expression returned nearly instantly as he slumped forward, using his elbows to support him over his knees and catching his chin in his hand. Well now he knew his partners skill set, and he knew they shared some ability, now should he really try to go through the hassle of preparing for whatever may come tonight? Me glanced to the trees, the dark sky now set and the gentle glow from the rising full moon was visible as it climbed the sky, eager to overcome the trees.

A rustle in the woods caught no attention from Muu, but the assortment of men that burst form the dark foliage did! Muu spotted at least 8 of them, maybe more hiding in the trees. As if to answer his mental thoughts, arrows, poorly aimed and with little power behind them, came whizzing near him, sort of, some diving into the pool. The men were at the other end of the pool and beginning to come around the sides, charging the boy and the house entrances.

His partner had been concerned with the house itself, the problem was the attackers weren’t in it yet… but they were trying to get there. As if their howls and charging shouts weren’t enough to catch Kenji’s attention form the kitchen, Muu was on his feet, ready to meet them and his rising voice might be able to be distinguished from the intruders shouts…

”Aburame!! We have the Bad Sort of Company out here!!”

As if to answer their charge, Muu, his strength already gathered leaped forward over the water, to meet a man doing the same form the other end. Needless to say, as the man tried to swing his large hammer like club, he had drawn back over his head to bring down on the boy, Muu’s fist connected with his face and sent him flying back into the trees. Even with a low level hit like that, it was enough to, on direct contact, prove formidable for regular thugs.. which these seemed to be.

Muu landed on the water, chakra moving to his feet as if second nature and he observed the others gathering around the edges of the pool, calling him to come out and fight them! Muu eyed them, deciding his next move and waiting. His partner would prove a fair and sudden distraction to provide him an opening. A small smirk touched the corners of the genins mouth… he was gonna enjoy this.

Description: Basic yet lethal, an immense amount of chakra is kneaded inside the body, and a moment later all of it it is gathered into the fist. That chakra is then released into the target, which does a great amount of damage. With the damage done dependent on the amount of chakra used, it is also possible for a skilled shinobi to amass it in their fingertip. When the ground is hit it is pulverized into minute pieces by the excess shock, which are then scattered like flower petals, giving rise to the name "Cherry Blossom Impact".

2:: Prep? ^{Strength Gathering}

The large, rather imposing gates, stood before him as Muu rounded the corner of the dirt road. His hands were in his pockets still and he was still wondering if he should find some escort or maybe travel with anyone else heading the same way he was… but the anticipation was too much to bear. He couldn’t possibly wait for anyone else to be ready. What if they slowed him down and he was late?! It’d be quiet a ways as it was…

Where was the Green Haired Shinobi going? Well he’d received a letter from what he assumed to be the Appointed Chuunin exam Head Examiner. All his meetings and tests and hard work were finally culminating. He couldn’t nor would he ever miss this. Even though his demeanor looked rather bored and tired, his lazy droopy eyes and expression never reveling much, he made his way tot eh gates before a Bird Masked ANBU materialized before him.

”What Business do you have for leaving the Village unattended child?”

Stopping in his tracks, Muu’s eyes never left the massive gates. They really were nearly terrifying in size this close up… But Muu spoke in a neutral, low, and almost bored tone as if the one he was speaking to was a slow, dumb, and irritating child. His natural response to those who stood in the way of things he desired.

”I’m Muu Yanagi, and I have Business in Mizu no Kuni. Maybe you’ve heard of the Chuuin Exams?”

Sure, to an ANBU agent the exams might not seem like a big deal.. but when you came to the conclusion that many of the ANBU were just chunin themselves, then you grasped that they all knew it was close to hell and those willing to go could very well be batshit crazy and possibly powerful. The ANBU physically shifted his weight, as the Green Haired boys eyes shifted to hi. Nodding the ANBU vanished in a puff of smoke, and the gates slowly parted enough for the boy to pass.

And now… the real challenge began.

noises, bugs, and arrows, how interesting. Muu mused as he lounged back, looking outside at the lowering sun. It had nearly vanished below the trees, the orange fiery glow cast upon the sky was fading and the dark blue sky was reaching for control… like ink spilled on a white page. Soon the night would come, and with it untold challenges. After all, if this was to be a test for him then fate would make it challenging weather they wanted it to be so or not.

He then perked up, realizing a few moments of silence had fallen since his partner had asked about his own abilities. Muu bite his long, pointed thumb nail considering the question and taking a personal inventory of his own skills before speaking.

”Well I like to break things. I’m a whole lot stronger then you probably think I am, maybe you’ll get to see.”

He chuckled at the thought as if he were truly a bit mad. When really the thoughts and ensuing images of how he could demonstrate his strength just made him laugh. Finally he broke his giggles and continued.

”I also am very skilled in controlling the wind and proficient in the medical arts I suppose. I also have my own smaller tricks but I can specialize in close combat and handle myself at a range.”

The further thought of preparing a plan for the unknown made him think seriously for a moment. Although it looked more like he was curious as to something on the ceiling cause he juts looked up like a lost child. Finally he looked at Kenji and sat up, slapping his knees suddenly with a grin on his face, an excited voice spilling from his mouth.

”But don’t worry about a complicated boring plan. IF trouble comes you can stay back and do your thing while I break things and if you get hurt I’ll fix you Aburame. So cheer up a little will ya.”

The carefree attitude change would probably be strange to the fellow genin. Especially since they were both genin and assigned to a B ranked mission. But Muu was confidante. Not overly so, but cooly certain that he could coup with whatever came. That and he knew that if he failed he wouldn’t get to pet any fuzzies for a considerable long time. They’d think him a failure and he wouldn’t have that.

The large metal barred gate was slowly sliding open before the pair of shinobi. They hadn’t spoken yet and their mission was just getting underway. The owners were on their way down to meet them, as a carriage pulled in behind the pair of shinobi to take the owners away to whatever awaited them. Muu had his hands in his pockets and a lazy expression on his face as he watched them approach, wondering what could possibly happen at a place like this. But if he had learned anything in his time, it was that what you can’t imagine is what you should be more worried about.

The Rich owners met them and gave them a rather brief, debriefing on what they expected of the night. They didn’t plan to make it home till sun up the next say, nothing was to be broken or taken, and above all else they were to do their best to Detain any who tried to do any of these things for questioning and punishment. Otherwise the hose and all it offered was theres for the taking as along as they cleaned up after themselves.

With that they gave nods and smiles and were off in their carriage, leaving the shinobi to get acquainted and protect their estate. The sun was dipping down beneath the tree tops and light was fading, slowly, but fading it was. Muu waited in still, quietness for a few movements as the sounds of the carriage faded. Yawning widely he would then address his partner.

”Well then… err.. What’s your name again buddy?”

the name slipped his mind, but the matter at hand was ever present. He had to perform tonight, but all the pressure was far from his mind. He was walking forward now, making his way to the entrance of the house. The night was coming, and Muu was ready to get this party started.

However as with this it’s become a custom for the thieves of the village to go to the empty houses of those who are away, and take the precious items of the family, it can range from expensive dinnerware, ornaments, jewellery and much more. The families, sick of finding news of their neighbours having been robbed have gone to request the aid of shinobi to protect their homes while their away and protect their home against any potential thieves. This means you have full responsibility over the welfare of the house.. and free control of the TV and fridge.
OBJECTIVE: Stay at the rich people’s homes whilst they’re away and protect against any break-ins!
PAY: 100 EXP and 5,000 Ryo.

Special: Sending a sudden surge of chakra to one's hands, the Medic can produce a sudden bout of strength, driving their hands deep into natural terrain such as earth, rock or other organic creations, and producing a chunk of it for the use of combat. Highest rank known establishes the size of the chunk of earth produced, the distance it can be tossed and the speed it can travel midair; also, it's strength, and thus, its defensive capabilities. Depth of chunk is 1/5th overall chunk diamter.

Description: Utilizing their chakra-imbued strength, the Souin practitioner bends down, thrusting their hands into the ground. They grip at the earth and pull, ripping the ground from its confines. This force extends ahead, like an upwards tidal wave, causing anyone standing on the area to be sent flying into the air. Can also be used defensively, if the earth is pulled up to block most attacks. Offensively, this technique is limited, as it cannot lift opponents into the air very forcefully--most of the chakra-imbued strength is utilized to rip the earth out, and not to hurdle enemies into the air. In general, it is used as a disruption more than anything; most shinobi will be able to land safely even after being flung by the earth.

Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Description: Meisai Gakure no Jutsu is an advanced ninjutsu technique created for stealth purposes. After forming the neened handseals, the shinobi will summon a large amount of visually altering chakra, strong enough to coat their bodies and take effect within moments of being summoned. With this, the user can grant themselves near invisibility, which can be sustained even when motion or minimal contact occurs. Only chakra sensing methods have been shown to pierce the veil of chakra and see the hidden ninja.

Description: No one knows the power of Fuuton more than a Fuuton specialist, and this technique was designed by those that met reality sooner than most. Varying by skill and rank, this technique allows the user to take hold of any offensive jutsu used upon them, as along as the attack’s nature allows for whatever is thrown to be controlled. With a great burst of chakra at either their hands or weapons, the user quickly returns the technique back at the opponent, in full effect.

Daitoppa (Great Breakthrough)

Description: A staple Fuuton technique, Daitoppa allows the user to blow a single strong current from their mouth, expelled in a cone like fashion forward which carries enough power to knock anything in its way down. This technique is very simple to execute – the user makes the right seals, simply takes a deep breath, and let’s go!

Kaiten Shuriken (Rotating Shuriken)

Description: One of the simplest Fuuton techniques, this supplementary technique allows the user to take any secondary/projectile weaponry they have on them and coat them in Fuuton chakra. This allows the user to shoot them at high speeds under the wind manipulation, adding rotation and tumbling power to increase the speed of normal weapon attacks, as well as its deadliness.

SHUSHIN

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)

Range: 0 - 10 meters

Special: Allows the user to move in a linear fashion at the speed of ten (10) meters per second. Maximum distance of a Flicker is 10 meters, though one can always lower the range. Once a flicker is started, unless subjutsu are known to alter direction, the user is destined to end where they aimed the speed burst at. Can be used once per thread, plus once more each time it is retrained. Finally, one cannot while performing Shunshin.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique, it simple combines high mobility with a distraction to give off the appearance of vanishing - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be somewhat visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.

DAMMIT DAMMIT!

Muu had been deep in thought, hanging upside down on the underside of a bridge, watching fish swim by, totally out of the public eye when a Bear-Masked ANBU had appeared in the water below him. Demanding another audience with the Kusagakure Lady Immediately. HOW the hell was he suppose to get any of his normal, bizarre antics done with all these important meetings popping out of thin air!?

Regardless, he was once again stepping out of the lift which brought him to the special floor of the Atrium, the floor which housed the Kusagakure Lords Office. Hands stuffed into his pockets and a grumpy, tired expression plastered on his face, he made his way down the constricting corridor lined with the occasional guard.

After a quick rap on the door with his knuckles, Muu entered the office, stepping up to the desk and stopping. Giving a grumpy bow to the lord of the village.

”Well now Lady ma’am, to what do I owe this special meeting of ours?”

He had regained eye contact with her, and although his expression was a mix of grump and sleep, he was interested in the reason behind their meeting again so soon. He was well aware of her stature in the village, the power she wielded and that made her a very interesting character in his life. He was also found her very very pleasing to the eyes, so while he may seem slightly put off, he was actually a bit… excited to be here you might say.
