The boy was taking the initiative. It seemed a simple obstacle would not stray the boy off his goal. It was good that he had this eagerness within him, he must've been a true herb enthusiast. He was also right to assume that the tree would be able to hold his weight. The branch would sustain his movement across it, and allow him to travel along the tree line above the ground below. The oomph he put behind his jump would also allow him to grasp onto the opposing tree.

At last the boy was at a certain angle to which he could access the marn plant below. However, from closer inspection, it wouldn't be as easy. The shrubs were quite dense, and even though the grey plant stuck out like a sore thumb, it was still heavily enshrouded with the shrubbery. Would he take the plunge into the middle of it in an attempt to acquire this herb? Once down there, he would also have a bit of an issue getting back out.

There was also the fact of the body-numbing poison that dripped off the thorns on these shrubs. It was important for him to pay as much attention as possible. One wrong step, one accidental fall, and he could be struck by these thorns. Once struck, he would be unable to move and would remain helpless within the forest alone. There was even the chance that he would never be found again! So many things could go wrong, but then again was it worth it?

You were right to consider that he was a force not to be reckoned with. Yet to believe that his attack style was based on purely Taijutsu, well it seemed as if you were easily misguided. It was important to not jump to conclusions based solely on the appearance of your enemy. After all, why judge a book from its cover? On the outside you were Hōzuki Kasakona, washed up rogue of the Hidden Mist. But within, you were Uchiha Akuharu, ANBU's new killing machine.

There were plenty like you out there in the world. Everyone was trying to change their lives for the better, even those who were in your current vicinity. Many had now realised the faults of their passed and painfully regretted abandoning their hidden villages. They had lost their home, their friends, and their family; the village itself. Many of them came to this area to prove their worthiness to the only people that would associate with them: rich businessmen.

The one that stood ahead of you. His name was Hakimoto. The slash on his forehead protector, wrapped firmly around his waist, represented his abandonment of the Hidden Stone Village. He too was looking for a way out. A way to somehow escape from the life that he had regrettably fallen into. If that meant he was to beat some punk across the head outside a tavern, then let it be so. The times were tough, and he would kill for a second chance.



Without further a due, he ripped off his shirt and began to chant quite loudly as an act of intimidation. "I'm gonna' tear you to shreds, boy!" His shout was echoed throughout the vicinity of the courtyard. A moment later he dashed forward from his spot and leaped into the air, sculpting his bodily figure in the form of a flying kick. With this, he immediately kicked into a crate that blocked the vision between Akuharu and himself.

"Dynamic Entry," he yelled at the top of his lungs after crashing directly through the crate. Akuharu would be able to see him in full flight now, only five metres ahead of him. The crate did not stop the momentum of the power behind this kick at all. He was coming in fast, and he was coming in with power. How would the ANBU hopeful react to this? It was best that he didn't reveal too many hidden techniques. He was supposed to be Hōzuki Kasakona after all.

adc ashe, like every ad carry: boots (or dorans blade) > bf sword > vampiric scepter > berserkers greaves > infinity edge > phantom dancer > blood thirster > then situational items like last whisper, black cleaver, madreds bloodrazor depending on enemy team

also max out your volley as priority, but take your hawk shot first so you can get the extra gold from farming creeps. it adds up

The boy had looked left and right, but he had forgotten to check above him. Within the trees, overlooking the ginger-headed boy, Kohaku stood alone atop thick branch. His body was enshrouded by the shadow of the leaves as he watched the boy launch his kunai. Kohaku studied the boy intently, wondering whether or not to approach him. The red-head seemed to be a little younger than he was. So why not? Perhaps he could have a little fun.

He jumped down from the branch of the tree, landing on the ground in a crouched position. He would've landed with a little thud no doubt, obviously making his presence aware to the boy. "Training all alone? How fun," he hissed mockingly to the boys direction. Kohaku straightened up his body and tucked both of his hands into his jacket pockets. "I'll give you a training session if you want," he continued after flicking his lengthy fringe across his right side.

He grinned menacingly to the orange-headed boy, assuming that he had already turned around by now. Moving his hands form the pockets of his jacket, he hung them down by his side. Kohaku patiently waited for the boy to make the first move. He gestured the "come forward" signal in the boys direction with his right hand before letting it drop back down his side. He was roughly eight metres away from the boy, readying himself for what could be thrown at him.

Good... the boy had started to open his eyes. The trick to finding herbs within a forest sea of plants was to have a keen eye. Attention to detail was important during these situations, often being the sole factor in separating success from failure. He had been lucky to trust his instincts and search the long grass, however would his fortune be sustained? It really was just determined on how Mother Nature was feeling on this day.

As he peered around the trunk of the tree, the boy would be greeted with a spotlight of holiness. Down from the heavens, the sun produced a ray of life through the overheard canopy. This ray shot directly to the ground of the forest, highlighting a single marn tree within a vast array of shrubs and other foliage. On closer inspection the boy would realise that these shrubs were lined with sharp thorns, no doubt accompanied by a mixture of natural toxins.

How would the boy deal with this? The shrubs were too high to simply jump over, and he certainly could not walk straight through them unless he wanted to be slashed by the thorns. The forest tested the ability of every individual. It was Mother Nature's training course. It was also important for the boy to watch the ground intently. The ground was muddy and slippery. If he wasn't careful with his movement, he could perhaps slip directly into the bush of thorns.

The boy was right to head into the long grass. It was the perfect area to find various plants that had seemingly been hidden away. The boy would have to be careful though. The long grass was a dangerous place consisting of both living and non-living threats. The stems of the long grass were lined with very small, yet sharp, razors that ran along to the tips. Any sudden movements and unorthodox jerks within the tall grass, he would be granted an uncomfortable experience.

This is where the living threats came into the picture. The long grass was home to various species of the insect and reptile nature. Sure you had your average grasshoppers here and there, but there were also horse-flies that polluted the area. These flies were march larger in size than your average household pest, and with that they also pack a mighty bite to them. Although not life threatening, the sting itself was bloody pestering.

Then of course if he wasn't already having the worst of times, there was also the factor that a stray step along the wrong piece of ground could end up with him trotting on a snake. But all these threats would have been worth it in the end. His eagerness to scour all aspects of the land had granted him the prize of what he was looking for. Within the thickness of the tall grass sat a single marn plant, placed strategically in the middle of the field. How bothersome.
