[/justify]He was a visionary. Ideas for the future always generated within his mind, and with the assistance of the ROOT they were carried out. It was hard not to admire his strength and charisma. It was something that always kept luring Kohaku back into the ROOT's inner-circle. A powerful leader could always control their followers, and his enticing aura was just an added asset. Within moments, it seemed all the players had arrived.
From under his hood, Kohaku looked out to see another grunt of the organisation arrive. Also enshrouded within a shadowy cloak, this figure also bore a mask. From the white porcelain face mask came the soft voice of a girl. Uchiha. It was the word that Kohaku focused on the most from what she said. It made him want to learn more about her. The Uchiha and their bloodline eye technique the Sharingan had always interested him.
He turned his head back to the front to see that they had both been greeted with a gift from their master. Kohaku took the scroll accordingly, bringing it closer to his chest to inspect it. He watched as the Lord Hokage enhanced his with chakra, unravelling the stem of the rose on the scroll. Kohaku would do the same whilst listening to the further instructions that were given to the two ROOT acolytes. It was then in which he heard the Hokage speak of something strange.
He spoke of abandonment. Abandonment of their home, their acquaintances, and their village. He spoke of himself being removed from the nominee position. What was going on within the higher council of the village? Why was he being released? These questions rung throughout his mind as he continued to study the scroll carefully, showing that the words that were just spoken had not phased him. On the inside though, his mind was in conflict.
The money didn't matter to him. All that mattered was whether or not he could learn more and grow stronger. Under Au'garumo this could be achieved. He was the key for Kohaku's future. The catalyst that could direct him toward endless power. It was all he wanted at the end of the day, and if that meant he was required to abandon his village - then so be it. "I will stand by your side, my lord," Kohaku spoke. He wondered how the other ROOT member would respond.
