The young Hyuuga watched his comrade intently from atop a branch of a nearby tree that overlooked the training field. He had just completed a mission with the lad; and the two of them had developed a relationship through attempting to save each others lives in the process. Gaku could see there was a possibility for further arrangements in the future of the same nature. The pair of them could team up, possibly with the other boy Gaku had trained with previously under the instruction of the Jounin Jiyuu. As the both of them carried powerful dojutsu, the pair could be unstoppable if they were to stick together. Also there was the idea that upon forming a proper shinobi squad, they would be given much more challenging and exhilarating missions.

He hopped down off the top of the branch, walking slowly toward the worn out Ranshi. Gaku could see that the training session had taken its toll on the Uchiha boy, but something else was different. There was a different feel to him, as if a major change had just occurred in his life. Gaku couldn't quite figure out what exactly it was though. He decided not to sneak up on the lad as he stared seemingly lost in space to his own reflection in the water. "You seem tired, Ranshi." Gaku spoke softly to the boy, providing a smile across his face as he edged near. He stood at least 5 metres away from Ranshi, watching him closely as he continued to kneel and stare at his own reflection in the river. Once Ranshi would turn to Gaku to respond, Gaku would be fully aware of the change that had taken place.

Special: Allows the Hyuuga to see up to to 359 degrees all around them, in all directions, and through many surfaces, including rock, cement, and even metal; only special chakra barriers can block a Byakugan out. Byakugan is also able to magnify and zoom, effectively seeing every small insect in the area and even see the infrared spectrum, allowing clan member detect things through their body heat. The maximum distance is 1KM. Finally, because the Byakugan can essentially see chakra and everything around it, it can detect illusionary chakra (Genjutsu) in order to defeat it.
Description: As its name implies, the Byakugan is just that, a featureless white eye that can occasioanlly posses hints of blue-gray and lavender, respectively. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge, representing the sudden chakra activation that makes the doujutsu possible. All members of the clan possess and can use the kekkei genkai from birth, as opposed to needing to awaken it. Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. With this vision, the Hyuuga can see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person, and can be improved. Finally, one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, chakra flow as well as the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style - the Gentle Fist.

Special: The dome is capable of blocking single-target taijutsu and ninjutsu of b-rank and lower. Though capable of blocking some area-based techniques, large explosions or administrations of brute force (anything a-rank or higher in reference to jutsu) can utterly destroy the barrier.
Description: Like many of the Jyuuken techniques, Kaiten is a special technique passed down through the main family line. Kaiten takes advantage of several of the unique abilities of the Byakugan eye, including an almost complete 360 degree view of their surroundings, so that the member to see all angles around them. As such, if an attack is near, the clan member will release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu and, simultaneous to the release, begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack. Said to be a Hyuuga's ultimate defense.

Needle requires no movement from the use, just a visual acknowledgement, and always originate within a foot of the user.
Description: A secret technique shown only to those worthy, the Chakra Needle technique exemplifies the extreme and precise control a Hyuuga has over the chakra existing within their Hakke. As such, as long as the clan member is aware of their target, they can summon these chakra needles to converge on whatetver target they wish, as long as it's in range.

Juuho Soushiken (Gentle Step Twin Lion Fist) ⁽⁵⁰⁾

Description: Of the few non-main Gentle Fist techniques, Juuho Soushiken is nonetheless an attack to be feared. After gathering chakra into their fists, the Hyuuga will skillfully spin and rush towards their target in order strike them. Spectral heads of pure, Hyuuga chakra will then form around their fists, forming two large lion-shaped shrouds that can be used to attacks the opponent. Because of their nature, they can move past solid defenses and attack the opponent internally. Best of all, because of the chakra's nature, any contact the claws have with the victim's chakra network results in immediate chakra loss - a condition made likely with the tenketsu revealing powers of Byakugan.

Description: Using their ability to expel chakra from every chakra point on their body, a member of the Hyuuga clan can hit their opponent with a blast of chakra that will send them flying away from the user in the form of a single handtap, or even when the enemy attempts to touch the Hyuuga or trap them. It is also useful when the Hyuuga has been bound by an enemy, targeting weak points in the prison that they see with their Byakugan with their sudden chakra rush in order to dispel it. This technique was made legendary when its creator employed it to save themselves from sudden crystallization at the hands of a Shoton master.

Extending chakra from their body, the Hyuuga will thrust their palm at the target, sending out an vicious wave of wind that can knock the opponent back greatly.

Description: Yet another variation to the Palm thrust, this is the grandest creation of all. Putting both hands together and gathering all of their chakra, the Hyuuga pushes forth with a great amount of chakra, large enough to topple buildings, take down summons and push them back, or repel equally strong attacks. The final Hakke version, this jutsu is not to be taken lightly...

With a great burst of chakra at either their hands or weapons, the user quickly returns the technique back at the opponent, in full effect.

Description: With the user’s weapon in hand or their limb extended, they will channel chakra across it so that when the weapon or limb is swung, a strong wind current comes forth. This current, although not heavy enough to do any threatening damage, can in fact knock opponents over, as well as severe loose sediment across the ground, bring up dust and whatever else lies on the floor. Useful for creating vision inhibiting storms, knocking people off balance, covering one’s tracks, escaping, and many, many more!

Description: This jutsu was brought to fame by a legendary Suna shinobi from long ago, and was named after a mythical creature able to command the winds on a whim. After channeling wind chakra at either their weapon, the user swings it around and brings forth a most intense tornado, coming out from the weapon. Once it strikes the opponent, the tornado tips upward and takes the user up, keeping them imprisoned by the strong currents, and delivering multiple waves of cutting/slicing damage onto their bodies, as well as dropping them hard onto the ground afterward.

Description: Handseals are performed by the shinobi, who concentrates their chakra and releases it into the air around them. This allows them to run swiftly by decreasing air resistance, and even sprint across or run up vertical surfaces by generating a wind current behind themselves to propel them forward. Kakucho Sokudo doubles the user's speed, making them hard to follow with an untrained eye. They are, however, slower than the average Shunshin. The advantage here is the ability to maneuver mid-run instead of having to continue in a linear path.

Special: Creates a sphere of pressurized wind which can slow the victim (and the user!) down considerably. Size of area affected equals to half the user's Kiroku Gaiju. If an opponent should enter any of the Eight Chakra Gates, or something similar in terms of speed enhancement, while under the influence of this technique or move out of the area of effect, the speed reduction will be removed. Sphere can be placed anywhere, with a specific target acting as the epicenter.
Description: After one has mastered Kakucho Sokudo, they are sufficiently versed in the art of wind resistance to manipulate it even further. A few hand seals are performed, and the user releases their chakra into the air around them. It quickly starts to concentrate around nearby enemies, making it more difficult for them to move and therefore slowing them down until the chakra disperses again.

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) ⁽²⁵⁾

Special: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.

✎ Gaku likes to keep to himself. He is a very personal type of guy that prefers his own company to that of another person. Ever since he was a young boy he had often found it difficult to work well with others, preferring to work on his own so that the only one that could be held responsible for failure would be himself and no one else could be blamed. Through this he would be able to fix past mistakes and look toward success in the future. Slowly, however, Gaku is attempting to become more open with other people. He often finds it difficult to form bonds and relationships with others, thus through working on this difficulty he is attempting to develop to a more out-going type of person.

✎ Through this individualistic nature, Gaku often finds it difficult to relate to other people and give off a friendly nature. He will often take some time to understand whether or not someone is trying to crack a joke, often causing many awkward situations between him and another person. This is a trait in which Gaku isn't a fan of. After all, deep down all he really wants is to just fit in. His inability to associate easily with others however makes this difficult. He aims to change these ways as he ages and grows into an older ninja. This is not to say that Gaku is a very stern and strict type of person. Once someone has got to know him, Gaku's awkwardness can be explained and when he is more comfortable around people, an inner fun person can be discovered.

✎ Gaku can be quite serious about one thing though: his profession as a shinobi. He takes this role quite seriously and often frowns upon people with a lazy attitude toward their shinobi tasks. Gaku will be the first one to have a go at someone who jokes around whilst on duty. He believes that the life of a shinobi is at risk every day, thus they must remain on-guard at all times. This is another thing about his personality that Gaku personally isn't a fan of. It makes him come across as an up-tight ass, something of which he is attempting to break-free of as he grows older. He hopes that with the formation of relationships with others, Gaku can re-sculpt his own personality and become more appreciative toward the types of people in the world.

✎ Finally, Gaku is a very patriotic ninja of the Hidden Leaf. He lives and breathes for the village and is very passionate concerning it and its people. Gaku's allegiances lie with whatever Hokage is in power, opting to do whatever he must to ensure sustainability and future growth of the village. As a shinobi, he believes that it is his responsbility to lay his life down for the sake of the village when the appropriate time comes. It's important to understand that Gaku takes a lawful evil approach to his actions concerning the village, most commonly doing things that my not be ethical however push toward the greater good of the Hidden Leaf Village.

✎ Gaku's clothing is something that he rarely changes on a daily basis. He of course has a different outfit for different scenarios and environments that he is faced with, whether that would be exercising, swimming, and cold or hot climates, however he is renown to maintain a regular set of clothes when faced with his day-to-day life. The point of his own signature style of clothing is to help differentiate himself from the other people and shinobi in the village. It's important that an individual has this choice of individuality through their choice of clothing, helping to empower their sense of self-character when not forced to wear a uniform.

✎ On his torso he wears a long-sleeved black cotton shirt that is quite loose around his neck. The sleeves extend on both sides down to either hand and hang loosely onto his palms, oven covering half of his thumbs when he keeps his arms hung by his side. The loose collar around the neck provides view of his upper pectorals where they meet up in the centre of his chest, revealing his collar bones however cutting off to prevent view of his lower chest. The front of the shirt remains clear with no symbols or markings on it, where as on the outer arms he has the kanji for 'leaf' in a maroon colour. On his back he has the symbol of the Hyūga Clan in the same coloured writing as on the arms of the shirt. The shirt extends past his waist and finishes just covering the groin area.

✎ Around his waist he wears a cream belt which holds his pants up as well as a single small bag attached to the left hip which holds various standard shinobi equipment. The belt is often unseen however due to his shirt hanging quite loosely over the waist area. His pants slightly resembles the same colour of the belt, however are more coffee coloured and thus a slightly darker shade. They are quite tight on his legs, accentuating the muscle tone of his legs and extend to the 3/4 way down his lower leg. The pants are completely clear of any images/logos in contrast to his shirt. As the pants end 3/4 of the way down, dark black leggings extend down the rest of the way until they wrap around his ankles and under the curves on the bottom of both feet. On his feet he wears the standard shinobi sandals however in a maroon colour (the same colour as the symbols on his shirt).

✎ Around his forehead is the shinobi forehead protector headband with the symbol of the Hidden Leaf engraved upon the metal. It sits directly over his forehead and is wrapped around his head by a black headband. The metallic protector is in top condition with no distinctive markings on the metal - yet. He does wear the village symbol with pride and holds the headband in high regard, considering it a very important piece of his apparel. If he was ever to lose it, he would become very angry with himself.

Special: At the basic level, this technique allows the user to increase their speed for one post. Each time retrained, their speed boost lasts one extra turn. However, after every second retraining, the consumption will go up by one.
Description: Handseals are performed by the shinobi, who concentrates their chakra and releases it into the air around them. This allows them to run swiftly by decreasing air resistance, and even sprint across or run up vertical surfaces by generating a wind current behind themselves to propel them forward. Kakucho Sokudo doubles the user's speed, making them hard to follow with an untrained eye. They are, however, slower than the average Shunshin. The advantage here is the ability to maneuver mid-run instead of having to continue in a linear path.

If an opponent should enter any of the Eight Chakra Gates, or something similar in terms of speed enhancement, while under the influence of this technique or move out of the area of effect, the speed reduction will be removed. Sphere can be placed anywhere, with a specific target acting as the epicenter.
Description: After one has mastered Kakucho Sokudo, they are sufficiently versed in the art of wind resistance to manipulate it even further. A few hand seals are performed, and the user releases their chakra into the air around them. It quickly starts to concentrate around nearby enemies, making it more difficult for them to move and therefore slowing them down until the chakra disperses again.
