Entry # 1: Salvation Renewed
The tide of war changed even the purest of men….
Rushing through the emerald breadth, swiftly eluding the impending branches and shrouds, one swiftly advanced further into the forest. Sensations of warmth fell from the heavens, adroitly infiltrating the mess of olive through the cracks in between leaves and limbs before touching the ground in haphazard locations. A vague path compiled of shaved soil marked the original pathway through such an intricate locality. Nonetheless, shortcuts and avenues unknown to foreigners drastically shortened one’s travel—a certain someone took the latter.
Uchiha Ryūsuke, after being informed earlier in the day of his partner’s swift retreat into the backwoods quickly rushed after. Asato was talented and cunning, nonetheless that didn’t take away from his naïve characteristic. The dark haired boy with charcoal specs enjoyed limelight, and the attention accumulated from succeeding within the Hidden Leaf, one couldn’t discredit that. Nonetheless, was it so hard to wait for your squad mate?
Sprinting through the self-implicated corridors of the forest’s bulk, shimmers of summer orange danced against the olive tinge of the Uchiha’s Flat Jacket, while the silver-lining of his armguards bathed in their glisten. Attacked to his back, twin Hook blades that rattled with a soundless quality; it would seem one was quite outfitted for combat or at the very least, patrolling with the hopes of engaging another in fierce warfare. Long strands of even scarlet swaying in the backdrop of the moving Shinobi, orbs of perceptive violet calculated the surroundings thoroughly. As vigilant as he was competent, with his village on strict security regulations, one should always be mindful.
After a few moments, the sounds of conflict emerged in the forefront, immediately placing the Genin on alert. Proceeding forward with a cautious pace, escaping a number of varying rocks and branches, Ryūsuke found himself near a large opening, only concealed by the boundary’s protective shroud provided by the forest. Peering through a series of bushes, careful not to alert anyone with a slight snapping of a twig, the Uchiha noticed a series of Shinobi occupying the area. Upon further inspection, it one stood in the open, hosting a rather refined weapon from where he stood; another approaching in a lethargic stroll, as well as Hota---HOTARUBI!? What was she doing here!? And why was she rushing the man? And was that…. Asato?
Roughly thirty five Meters to the left of the group, hidden within the forest boundary, his location should have been secure, as such, drawing a tailored Kunai, laced in a single parchment of tan, he waited. Astute and concentrated, his surrounds interlaced with his sensory tools—allowing even the most foreign sound to not go disregarded. His friend was in trouble and while his mind forced the action of rushing in hurriedly, that would save anyone. He had to really think this through. Prepared to attack when required he simply looked on, and would go off what his Ally produced. She was a Konohagakure Shinobi, as well as Asato and the other who rested comatose on the ground. If those two strangers were involved, it was most probable to assume they were here dangerous.
