Description: The electric influence that exists over the human body and its muscles allows one to control the later through unconventional methods, including through the means of chakra. Teaching ♬ Areru

"Aah-Reh-Roo." He'd repeat, voicing each syllable clearly. "What an interesting name, rolls right off the tongue!" A smile would rest easy upon his lips, a cheery gesture, one he always strived to keep. Just then, the woman would ask after the technique he'd recently performed. She seemed to be interested in his hand now, gazing at it with a curious mien. "Oh, that was the Sutangan," He'd answer. "Or Limb Stunning Technique... say, let's start with that one, shall we? It's a good precedent for the other techniques. Considering the amount of lightning control it requires." Gesturing towards her with a toss of his head, the Akegarasu would raise his right hand once more. "C'mon, I'll get right into the teaching. No point in wasting time, hm?"

When she heeded his call, stepping closer and into the makeshift training ground, the half-masked ninja would steady his right hand and commence. "Now, I'm not quite sure how far you've advanced with the element of lightning, but even the most minimal of experience should give you an idea of how difficult it could be to control at times. Therefore, with the Sutangan, you're going to need to put all of you mental focus into balancing, controlling and holding the power in the palm of your hand. This is, at least, true for the first time you actually perform the technique." Narrowing his eyes as he focused on his hand once more, he'd issue the same static he had performed before. "The key to learning the technique is trying not to rush it. Really focus on gathering a good chunk of raw chakra first, then ensure that it is converted to the element of lightning successfully. It can be a handful at times, trying to regulate the static within you, but I'm sure you'll get it. You can start when you're ready, if you have any questions, feel free to ask, hm?"

So with that, the Akegarasu would nod happily and stride over to a fallen log nearby. He'd take his seat there casually, relaxing with a satisfied ahh as he stretched his arms. And as Areru started her training, he couldn't help but activate his abilities as a sensor, simply blinking his eyes as the talent came to life. A light blue glow surrounded her frame, outlined with a pearly white veil. Signs that she was indeed a raiton user... but showing slight differences compared to the glow of other lightning-savvy ninja. Was this perhaps, another foreign element blending in with the raiton? Or was her raiton simply... special? Either way, there was something off about this girl. And he pondered what it was as she trained, repeating the surname she'd given through his mind... Sansutomu. It seemed vaguely familiar to him, but where had he heard it before?

[Areru]

It was either that interest had sparked in her name from Atlas himself, or he was simply trying to make some conversation. Either way Areru was happy enough to respond, giving him a little bit of information about her name. ”It means stormy and temperamental.” she would tell him- The stormy part sure did suit her due to her bloodline but then again.. The temperamental part.. Wasn’t so much her at all. She was feisty when it came to fighting via insults and when storms were around, but otherwise she was pretty chill, or, the chillest person at the moment in the exams. With calm eyes would the blood red optics look at his hand again as he seemed to introduce the technique to her- So, just as she had suspected, it was a raiton one- Interesting- And it stunned limbs? Even more interesting.

So, approaching the near crimson haired male she’d draw close to him, although, far away enough so that if she was to use the technique, he would not be within harming distance. As she then approached him, he would soon begin to use the technique once more, describing to her in quite some detail about how to develop it correctly. She didn’t really want to make any mistakes, leaving her to try once more, which wasn’t really something that she wanted to do, seeing as time was quite short at the moment. Words would not be spoken upon her part as her eyes simply lay upon his hand, her ears on the other hand concentrating on what he had to say. She needed to pool her chakra to her palm then, but of course, convert it to the raiton chakra that she was so used to.

”..Alright, I think I understand. I’ll give it a shot.” she would tell him in her usual calm and collected tone, as the would try to put what he had spoken to true use- Her chakra soon spreading to her palms and beginning to collect there, she’d await a few moments as she would go through the process quite slowly to prevent any potential mistakes although, she knew full well that there was always the chance of mistakes happening, even if she was very careful. But, doing it in such the way that she was now reassured her that if something did go out of place, it wouldn’t be so bad as to make the whole land explode. It was something that she feared, yet, inside, she knew it probably wouldn’t happen- Better safe than sorry, though!

With a look of intense concentration on her hands she’d keep fuelling her chakra to her palms- Yet nothing happened! How was she supposed to make the sparks that the technique requested in order for it to be used correctly? With the same calm expression on her face, her mindframe the same- Yet slightly puzzled- the young sansutsomu would bring her eyes from her hand, back towards him, as she’d ask; ”How do I make the electrical charge? I’m a bit confused on that part.” she’d ask, her hand rife with chakra yet- She hadn’t the knowledge at the moment to ignite it in to raiton- Surely enough she was quite adapt to raiton techniques but just this one was a bit different.

Teaching ♬ Areru

The Akegarasu, sitting on the creaky log he'd recently perched himself upon, would watch with keen eyes as Areru started her training. Placing his elbows on his knees, and propping his chin on the surface of an open palm, Atlas would distinguish and make out the chakra flow throughout the young woman's thin figure, raising a single brow when he noticed the swirling energy gathered within her core. So far, so good. He mused, smiling as he witnessed the energy sweeping through her body and gathering at her hands. She was listening to his advice, and taking initiative, which he couldn't help but respect. After all, his years as a student had been spent in the same manner, and watching this young Kumogakuran female train strangely reminded him of himself a bit.

Her brow furrowed as she seemed to delve into that realm of concentration ninja in training were known to delve into. Pulses of chakra made their way towards her hands almost rhythmically, and based on his own experience- when he had first learned the Limb Stunning Technique- Atlas had to assume she was having trouble converting the chakra. It wasn't an easy task, not at first, and especially for the technique in question. Lightning wasn't an effortless element to possess and control on one's palm freely, and he was almost certain Areru was facing the difficulties of such a claim first-hand- pun intended. His suspicion would be confirmed when she turned around to him with her ruby red optics and inquired after that particular part. Atlas wouldn't hesitate to answer, his tone as relaxed and aloof as hers, rocking his body lightly forwards as he sat on the log.

"This may seem a bit unorthodox- but try concentrating on your breathing as you hold the chakra in your hands. Take deep breaths- inhale, hold and exhale. You'll find that your blood flows much more freely when you do that, not to mention the fact that it clears your mind as you concentrate. When you feel you've fallen into that certain nirvana, focus on amplifying your chakra but refrain from trying to stuff more energy down its mouth. That's for later- and it won't exactly help in the conversion process." Smiling, he'd stifle an involuntary yawn and continue. "So after focusing on your chakra, and causing it to resonate in unison on both hands, try thinking about things such as lightning storms and electric currents. It takes a certain sense of... feral emotion to spark that something within your chakra. And like a fire, all your chakra needs is a single spark to flare up and change its nature completely." With that, he'd nod and let her continue, silently despising the way he rambled on so much.

[Areru]

Her hand held in front of her, she would look at it. At the moment she was unable to detect any kind of chakra from it but then again, with a simple blink her special, bloodlimit ability would be utilized. She had been training it for a while now and getting it to appear was as easy as ever. For people looking at her, due to the contacts upon her eyes she wouldn’t look any different due to it being the most basic of the sansutsomu eye techniques, but, this heightened sense that she had been birthed with gave her the ability now to see threads of chakra of raiton, suiton and fuuton chakra, and, with this sense, it would be easier for her to see the progress of the technique itself happen.

So, her eyes piercing her hand with its gaze she would await and listen to what he had to say as he’d then go onwards to explain to her how exactly to make it easier to learn such techniques as these. So- Breathing was key then? It was quite a strange idea although she guessed that in the end it did make some sense- When you were panicing, you could easily lose your cool and start hyperventilating- It was these slow, controlled breaths that allowed you to calm down once more, and although she wasn’t in a state of panic right now- Far from it, in fact- she figured that she could work on her breathing, it couldn’t hurt, right? ”Okay.” the single word spoken by the girl her left hand would descend to her thin, spindly knees, as all focus would now be on her right hand.

It was a bit annoying that with all this power in her hand, she was unable to use it as of yet due to the fact that she hadn’t known how to control it correctly but as he went on, with a tone that suggested that he was quite used to teaching or, was a naturally born teacher of sorts, she’d just think about what he had to say carefully, so that she could use his words to the best of their extent in her training. With a deep breath out she’d then take one in, and the process would continue again and again, as her breathing soon got controlled. With this part of herself sorted out, she’d now go towards the fierce sparks that she needed to create from her fingers which would make the shock that the jutsu was known for.

”Lightning storms? I can do that.” she’d say with a grin on her face- So, she needed to capture the violent outbursts of lightning storms in her hand, right? She could easily do that- Lighning was in her blood- She was born during a storm, and, she was hoping that at the time of her death, it would be stormy. It was a strange thought, but she did enjoy her storms, and very much. They gave her an edge that people usually didn’t see from her- They transformed the girl, really. So, focusing intently on her hand she’d then slowly build up the kind of chakra, converting it in to the raiton that was so very much needed- She could tell that it was there solely because of her eyes, as threads of Raiton chakra soon circled around in her hand, dancing as the power of it increased.

”-I can see it. I think I’ve got the lightning part down but.. I just need to sort out these sparks now, it should only take me a bit.” her confidence in her raiton abilities was quite great- When some may have paused and taken all the time in the world, she adapted quite brightly to it all. It was her natural instinct, really.

Teaching ♬ Areru

"Good, good." Atlas would mutter, beaming on his seat as the young woman harnessed the power of lighting on her hands. But as he stared on, analyzing every little aspect with his sensor eyes and his own meticulous tendency for detail, the half-masked ninja would take notice of the color of her eyes. Right under the veil of red that constituted as her pupils... a pool of swirling blue? An eyebrow arched when he noticed that peculiar little detail. Where had he seen that before? But then the pieces started to add up. The meaning of her surname, Sansutomu, came to light, and finally this little mystery was over. Funny. Now that he remembered, he had fought beside a Sansutomu during the war. A young man then, but perhaps related to the pretty lass he was teaching now.

A terribly chilly breeze would whistle through the training ground, slightly numbing Atlas' cheeks and causing them to glow with a slight red tint. Tetsu no Kuni was much more frigid than he had expected it to be, but he considered it an asset to those who sought to train- in this case, Areru. While the weather was insulting to the sense of touch, its tendency to force bodies to shiver- and disrupt the concentration of others- pressured the ninja in training to strengthen her focus and resolve. The Akegarasu had trained under these conditions before, in his homeland of Kuma no Kuni, and had experienced for himself the benefits that it brought into a battle. Snow could indeed harden the skills of even the most powerful and honed of warriors, and prepared any who trained under its harsh tutelage quite well. Therefore, he wouldn't even utter a complaint as another breeze swept through. While it wasn't helping him at the moment, as he wasn't the one training, it was most certainly helping the young woman in front of him.

He continued to watch with an interested gleam in his eyes as she continued. Progress, she was making great progress! There was truly something magical in the air, it seemed, something that inspired quick growth and fast learning. As sparks manifested themselves like little blue fairies around her hands, the Akegarasu could only watch in admiration as the technique slowly began to manifest. But how, exactly, would she know it's a functional success? He mused, trying to find a way around the obvious answer that kept sprouting through his mind. A pang of regret thrummed throughout his body, wishing he hadn't let the bandit go so easily. But he figured he was the only potential test dummy within range, so, as a temporary teacher, he was obliged to offer himself. "Splendid!" He'd smile warmly. "Keep at it, make sure it is contained safely within your hand, then..." With a slight sigh, but a pleasant face nonetheless, he'd extend his left arm. "Try it out on me and numb my arm. The effects shouldn't last that long, so no need to worry. Just know that when you do attempt the action, you'll need to pump another fistful of chakra into your hands to activate the paralyzing effect. Now go on... I'm ready when you are."

[Areru]

As she’d keep working at the technique it would soon become obvious to her that the power of raiton within her hand was soon amount to quite a bit but- It wasn’t too powerful of course, but it was powerful enough to give someone a nasty shock from what she could see. Her eyes detecting the very technique itself within her hands as it was prepped, she would then keep focusing on her dainty fingers which were soon quite pinched by the cold, her nails, although perfectly preened, did not belong to the hands of a girly little wench. She was more boyish than few boys themselves, but she cut her nails to prevent them from growing too long and getting in the way of her training and yet, they weren’t short either. But they were quite pretty to look at.

The chill coming back in the form of a breeze, she wouldn’t regret coming out here to train- It was exhilarating being in the cold as they were at the moment, and of course, cold, gloomy weather was her favourite kind, so it was perfect for her. Looking back towards him as he would speak once more to him, quite a content look in his own facial expression, she would grin back, as now- All she needed to do was form the technique in a touch, but who would she test it on? This question had kept to her for a while now but she placed it aside and figured that she needed to perfect if first before thinking of such things but- This technique was almost on the way to being used correctly!

Just know that when you do attempt the action, you'll need to pump another fistful of chakra into your hands to activate the paralyzing effect

..He was suggesting that she use it on him? Oh, that was quite noble of him indeed! Of course, she was used to giving people static shocks and she herself had been quite accustomed to getting such shocks herself, but then again she wasn’t too sure if she should go ahead and shock him- Should she? Pondering this for a few moments she would soon decide to go on with the process, as she would speak; ”..Brace yourself, Atlas!” in quite a cheery tone as she’d approach the man, her hand stretched out towards him as she’d then touch his left arm quite daintily, although from her small digits would soon come an eruption of power as her raiton jutsu would reach the top of its power as it was then transferred to Atlas in the form of a shock..!

..Blue sparks suddenly shooting everywhere! There weren’t all that much of them but, the touch seemed to initiate quite a lot of them to be created, as from her sansutsomu eyes she would be able to see the raiton chakra invading his body, no doubt giving him some kind of paralyzing shock, the same one that the technique was famed for. With this touch she would then afterwards bow somewhat to him, quite happy that he had allowed himself as a practice dummy of sorta for her, but she still felt sorry for hurting him. ”-Thank you. I’m sorry if it hurt. This is a very interesting technique! How long have you been able to use raiton chakra for?” she’d tell him with a kind of awe in her tone as she’d then look back at her hand, which was now devoid of the chakra that it had once housed so greatly. She had learned of some people who were born with Raiton chakra in their veins- As she had been, but, she had also learned of people who brought the element upon themselves from becoming familiar with it- But, What was next as far as techniques went?-
If he still wanted to train her, that was.

It would be a mere matter of seconds before the young lady approached him with a cheery smile, suggesting he braced himself as she outstretched her raiton-enhanced hand. "Ohhh.... I'll, uh... try my best." He'd mutter with chuckle, feeling that same sense of perturbation when a doctor comes near you with a needle. But when her fingers finally made contact with his arm, and as he instinctively closed his eyes, he realized that he felt nothing. Did she... fail? He pondered, slowly opening his eyes and drawing in a soft breath. Unfortunately for his arm, no. The moment he'd displayed a sign of confusion, he witnessed a pulse of chakra run down the length of her arm with his eyes, immediately reaching her lightly electrified hand to activate the stunning technique. Teeth ground against each other within his mouth as the shock ran through his arm. But he never lost that smile.

The shock she'd sent through his arm did have a slight degree of pain, however, and he couldn't help but compare it to the feeling of being punched in the gut. His abdomen muscles contracted, his fingers curled into his palms tightly. And throughout the whole thing, he could feel the uncomfortable sensation of static crawling beneath his skin and giving him goosebumps. The cold weather, however, had provided some form of previous numbness- so the feeling was considerably lowered in its intensity. It was funny, that even with all of his experience in lightning-based techniques, his body still hadn't formed some type of immunity to non-lethal strikes to this. He figured it could only mean he hadn't mastered the element yet, but he definitely felt he was getting close to doing so.

When the deed was done, he'd suck in a gasp and guffaw. "Holy crap." The Akegarasu would grin, eyes watery, tossing his head back to release a surprised laugh. "I'm not gonna lie- that was pretty... unexpected. I haven't seen a Sutangan with that much power in ages!" Listening as the Sansutomu thanked him, Atlas would grab his numb left arm with his right hand and toss it around. "It's just dead weight now." He'd mutter under his breath, looking up at Areru after she'd asked him a question about his experience with raiton chakra. "Hmm?" He'd reply, darting his eyes towards the gray sky as he pondered. "As far as I can remember really. Which is pretty spotty- considering chunks of my memory were lost after the Great Flash." Staring up into the sky for a bit longer, he'd wipe off the tears that had been drawn out during her recent technique. Turning back down to the young woman, the man would continue. "Amnesia sucks." He'd add with a light-hearted grin. "Now... I'm going to need a few to recover the use of my left arm. But I've got another technique in mind for you. That is, if you're still open to hanging around a bit... ?"

"Holy crap."

This response could but show some concern as his arm would no doubt become frazzeled by the technique that she had just performed on him- She was unsure whether her innate ability to channel storms and the raiton that could be found in them in to other techniques, but it seemed that by his response, and how his face seemed to contort if but a little bit in pain, that the technique had worked correctly. She felt a bit of guilt of course from having done so to his arm, although he had suggested that she try it out that way- Oh well. She’d make it up to him later, maybe she could teach him a raiton technique or two to show her gratitude?

Yes- That would be quite nice. Taking her hand away from him to prevent any move damage being done she would then move a few threads of hair away from her face, the only thing happening after that being the hairs themselves moving strangely towards her hand, static enveloping them, something that happened quite often to the youth. ”I’m sorry- That looked as if it hurt.” she’d tell him, watching as he’d remove some stray tears from his eyes- It had been that powerful? Such a technique would no doubt be full of potential then, for the exams! She had already planned some kind of plan for her fighting round but- It depended whether she even got to that stage or not at the moment. But, learning things like this no doubt helped her on her way.

”Thank you- Lightning is a pretty important release in our family so I want to try and do my best at learning different techniques from it.” she would tell him- Sometimes overshadowed by he elder brothers, the youngest, and the only girl, sometimes strived to try and break the mould by becoming even powerful than them- But at the moment, that goal was quite a distance away. ”You had amnesia? My brothers have had that before- But they’ve been in more situations where that could happen to someone than I have.” she’d tell him with a nod of her head, her right hand then raising after calming down a bit, and rubbing against the side of her head.

And now- Another offer of training! Surely she would accept this with open arms, and he, having only one useable arm at the moment from the technique that she had just used, seemed happy enough to teach her, as Hirihi herself had been to guide her in to the way of the sensor. Nodding vigorously at this, quite happy to be learning more about Raiton, the girl would then crack her knuckles once, preparing herself for any seals that would need to be done. Her pale skin mimicking that of the snow itself, her clothing being quite bold against the white canvas, Areru would look at his arm once more which seemed a bit.. dead, before turning back to look at his eyes again; ”You OK?” she’d ask, as casual as ever yet with a slight tone of concern.

Purazuma Booru (Plasma Ball Technique)

Range: Highest rank learned determines strength of lightning sphere. Sphere measures 5 meters with the user at the center. Though no handseals have to be held once the sphere is complete, no other jutsu may be cast while plasma is active. Can be held as long as the user's chakra reserves allow it.

So she does have brothers. The half-masked ninja would muse, making a quick mental note to approach her about her siblings later. He knew he'd remembered someone from her clan, and garnered she dressed a bit like the comrade he'd fought beside in the war, but for now he'd focus on getting the feeling back in his arm and seeing if she wanted to continue her training. She was eager to hop onto another technique, nodding with an exuberant expression on her face and cracking her knuckles after he'd inquired after her availability. So the enthusiasm was there-- great! This would make teaching the technique a lot easier. Her red eyes would gaze over at his arm as he continued to tap it experimentally, then she'd abruptly turn to him- asking if he was alright. "Hm?" The Akegarasu slightly raised a brow, somewhat surprised by her inquiry.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about it." He'd reply, appreciating the concern and showing it so in his eyes. "The feeling is slowly coming back now, but while we wait, why not explain that technique I'd wanted to teach you, hm? It's called the Purazuma Booru- or Plasma Ball. And while I'd like to show you," He'd chuckle, picking up his numb left arm and letting it drop on his lap loosely. "I can't exactly dish out hand seals at the moment. It's not that hard to understand, though. Basically, you issue the hand seals designated for the technique- ram, boar, dragon, ram- and gather the chakra within you like you did for the Sutangan. You'll need to focus a bit as you convert it to lightning, too. Then, when you feel the static bubbling within you like boiling water, you'll bring forth a burst of chakra and immediately release the energy throughout the entire length of your body. Too little chakra, and the technique will die down after seconds of being issued. Too much, and it'll probably shock you." With a nod, he'd signal her to start.

"Go ahead and try it out." The Akegarasu would continue with a smile. "I'll heal up and observe here." As the young woman would begin to do so, the half-masked ninja would blink his eyes once and activate his abilities as a sensor once more. Lightning chakra truly ran in her blood, as she had stated so before. Now that he noticed it, it was powerful and unique in its own style, in more ways than just color and spectrum. A tingling sensation would suddenly sprout from his left arm. The feeling was returning to him, and the lightning that had paralyzed it dissipating from his nervous system. As she neared the end of her training, Atlas would begin to move his limb around, forcing the muscles there to react to his thoughts and curling his fingers in and out. By the time she had finished, the use of his arm would all be returned to him. Which meant he could now perform hand seals, and teach her any techniques that required as such much more easily.

The fact that she had shocked him quite well was seen clearly through the fact that he seemed to be poking it, testing it to see if he could feel it- That couldn’t be good. With her eyes shifting back and forth from his arm back to his face, seeing if it voiced pain or not, she couldn’t see any signs of it, and so, she was relived a bit of the guilt that was burdening over her. But he had said he was fine, so, placing such bad thoughts away, she would cease to think about it, and would listen as he would then begin to speak once more- He was a pretty talented raiton user as it seemed, and from the chakra that she had seen coursing through his vains, he was much, much more powerful than she was in general.

And, all in all, she hoped to become such a powerful shinobi later on in life- Or, as quickly as possible really. Any training that she could do before the exams started was good training, and she had already learned one extra technique from him which would probably be very useful in the upcoming rounds. But now- Another technique was going to be learned by her- hopefully, so, clearing her mind somewhat, she would then turn her gaze from the masses of snow that surrounded them, back to Atlas himself and the technique that he was going to teach her- ”Plasma ball? I think I’ve heard of that technique before.” Of course, as she had suspected, his arm was in no fit state to form seals, so she’d have to learn without being shown the technique at work first.

”..Basically, you issue the hand seals designated for the technique- ram, boar, dragon, ram- and gather the chakra within you like you did for the Sutangan…”

As he explained the sansutsomu would lay dead silent, her mind taking in all of the information and almost filing it. ”..So, Ram, boar, dragon, ram..” it was a fairly simple set of seals, and it was easily rememberable within her mind. So, her hands then forming the needed seals she would soon prep herself to learn such a technique, the fingers that she had entwining then moving out, and changing in to bizarre shapes which could only be described as zodiac handseals. These were the easiest part of the whole technique deal- It was the whole chakra manipulating part which she seemed to have a bit of trouble with usually. But, as her skill progressed- and her age- she hoped that such a process would soon become much easier for her to do.

Now- It was finally time for that chakra part. With her chakra now being collected but, instead of collecting it to her hand, it would simply be collected to her core, as she figured was she that she had seen one of her brothers use it before and if she could remember, it was some kind of blast or, a shield of sorts which surrounded the user. Without Atlas himself showing her how to use it she couldn’t be too sure but she figured that what she was doing was correct, and continued. ”..I think I’m doing it right…” she would murmur, although nothing would happen- This would continue for a few moments before---

”….!!!”

Suddenly from within her the chakra seemed to change a little bit, shifting to raiton chakra but staying safely within her circulatory system at the moment- Was it working? She wasn’t too sure, but she was soon ready for the next part of the technique- The actual creation of the plasma ball! Awaiting in anticipation for him to help clear up the next part of the technique, she would wait, controlling the chakra within her in the meantime.

Teaching ♬ Areru

The Sansutomu would begin with the hand seals at an efficient pace, executing them without flaws and channeling her chakra successfully after she'd issued the last one. The signal of the energy she'd summoned hadn't been that strong, but training for the Plasma Ball technique needed to be taken in steps anyway. After all, as the saying went, he was simply "teaching her how to fish". Perhaps after he'd taught her the Plasma Ball, she'd be able to advance and upgrade its power on her own, which he sincerely doubted she could not do. The girl was smart, that little twinkle in her eye when he explained things to her said so. And though the Akegarasu was an experienced ninja himself, he felt that he could only teach the young lass a few crucial moves before letting her go off on her own. Assuming that lightning was the only element they shared.

Observant, emerald optics would analyze the girl's every move- physically and within her being- as chakra swirled in between her ribs like translucent clothes in a washer. The chi took upon its natural, bright yellow tone when it had been summoned, and continued to gather as Areru concentrated. As seconds passed, Atlas would begin to anticipate the conversion of this chakra at any moment. But as more time elapsed, even the young woman had doubts. Fortunately for them, the power had activated just when she'd expressed that doubt, waking to life and taking upon the form its master requested it to take upon. Lightning sparked and multiplied within the energy like wildfire, light yellow hues changing abruptly to pale blue within her core. Static seemed to overcome her entire body immediately afterwards, but the young woman had successfully managed to stave off its advancement with her concentration.

The lightning energy was contained- for now, at least- and Atlas would hop to his feet to help her continue on. Shaking his left arm to liven up the feeling there, and taking a moment to kick his feet to invigorate those limbs as well, the Akegarasu would approach Areru with a few steps. Neat black boots with golden buckles sunk into plush snow as he advanced, stopping a few meters across from the Sansutomu to avoid harming her with the example he was about to perform. "Nice job, so far. I wasn't expecting this much progress from you so quickly. But you look like you're in a bit of a bind now, if you don't mind me sayin'." Outstretching his hands a bit, then abruptly clamping them together, the young man would issue the hand seals he'd mentioned before- only this time, a few more were added towards the end. More chakra, required more seals, after all.

With the action taken, and completed, the half-masked ninja would suddenly be immediately surrounded by a sphere of pale red, lightning-enhanced chakra. Crimson sparks crackled and popped in the atmosphere as the young man continued. "I can see your chakra within you. You've done well- converting it as fast as you have. Now I want you to spread the chakra evenly throughout your body. Let it settle under you skin, make sure it's balanced on all ends. And when you feel your body pulsing with the energy, let it all out~! Tighten your hand seal, let out a shout, nuke the chakra you have with more chakra- whatever it takes to exert the energy throughout your entire body and release it." Smiling, he'd deactivate his sphere and watch.

[Areru]

Her chakra moving around her wildly as it was preparing to be released, she would but wonder what other possibilities this technique had. From her past experiences of seeing it, it seemed like some kind of electrical barrier around the user, which would probably deter anyone from running in to them lest they be given quite a nasty shock by the barrier itself. It sure did hold potential, although, were there other versions of the techniques that branched off from it? And had the masked gentleman known any more? She knew that he knew a lot of techniques- Although at the moment, the only thing that she knew he was able to do, was to be able to use raiton, something which they had in common. Unknowingly to her at the moment though, they would seem to have even more similarities!

His commentary on her work would be taken in to great consideration- He was speaking the truth, of course. At the moment she was in quite the bind as she found it quite hard to advance to the next step, but she was sure that after a little bit, it would be easily understood. ”This bit is strange- I’m used to having static shocks but I would prefer not to be given one right now.” she’d tell him with a grin, referring to the point where he had told her how to carefully control the technique and to prevent herself from receiving the brunt of it on her own head. Although, she would soon seem to understand the technique a bit more as he’d approach her with swift seals being formed, a red, almost sinister looking glow enveloping his form in the shape of a kind of ball- The same that she had seen so many years ago.

With an idea of how it worked now- The chakra going forwards, out of the body in that shape, creating a sort of barrier infused with raw lightning chakra itself, Areru would nod her head confidently as her hands, still clasped together quite tightly as her expression changed, her fingers then would shift in to fists- "-AAARGH!"CRACK! suddenly around her form would soon burst a field of chakra itself, electricity pouring from her very pores as it was released in the form of a technique, and would move around her, protecting her from whatever enemies drew near her being. Of course, this was similar to the one that he had used, but was perhaps if but a little less powered than his- She of course was new to this, so she hadn’t expected it to be that perfect at the first try-

-But it was a good effort, and as she gazed at herself and the shape of lightning around her- concentrated in to a kind of red form, she would but marvel in awe at the technique- It had no doubt been of quite low level, but it was nonethess astounding- And this guy was pretty neat for knowing the technique and teaching it to her, of course! ”Is this right, Atlas?” she would ask him as her eyes would change from viewing the creation that she had called upon, back to his own visage. Would he be happy with her attempt? Or had she done it wrong? If he was glad- What would happen next? She did have a plan to teach him one of her favourite raiton techniques, so she sure did hope that he hadn’t known it already!

"Not bad- not bad at all!" Atlas would smile in reply, clapping his gloved hands together in congratulation. She'd completed the technique as fast as he had predicted, and the realization that he might not be as bad a teacher as he thought he was made him happy. But on to more pressing matters, there was still a few things he figured Areru might like to learn. He didn't know why, but he had a strange feeling this young woman would prove to be a very influential figure as she progressed. In fact, he could almost sense the charisma and potential that emanated from her presence. Therefore, he was strangely compelled to help her in any manner he could. She was yet unaware of this, but the Akegarasu had garnered many of her skills from his sharp abilities as a sensor. One of them being, in fact, that her chakra tended to suppress itself during her training from time to time. Which could only mean one thing.

"Hey, you're a sensor, aren't you?" He'd pause and gauge the expression on her face. Yup, he'd been spot on. "That's very interesting, and quite a coincidence at that. I happen to be one as well~! How about I teach you how to spot a release, hm?" Nodding in confirmation, he'd saunter over back to the fallen log and take a poised seat- back straight, hand's resting calmly on his lap. His exposed viridian eye would point towards the girl cheerfully. "Now, I'm not sure exactly how far you've gotten with your abilities as a sensor, but I want you to activate your Mind's Eye and look at me. I'll deactivate my suppression to allow you to do so." Stopping, only to make sure she understood and had activated the technique requested, the Akegarasu would resume shortly afterwards. "To the unrefined sensor, my form should appear surrounded by a pale yellow hue. That is my chakra, raw and unformed as it is. But I'm going to help you magnify that scope of vision, to spot the chakra nature of lightning in others. Comes in handy when you want to anticipate and sometimes even counter attacks utilizing that element."

Activating the power within his eyes, the lightning chakra flowing through her vieins would become as clear as crystal. If he was going to explain this to her, then why not use her as an example? Sort of ironic when he thought about it. "Try amplifying the chakra around your eyes a bit as you look at me with your Mind's Eye." He'd continue, leaning back comfortably and placing his hands firmly on the edge of the log behind him. "Focus... but not too hard. We don't want to have you popping a blood vessel, now. It should all come easy to you when you attempt to activate the ability." And so, he would watch as she continued on with her training on her own. She was experienced. She was smart, and there wasn't a doubt in his mind that she could nail this down as well. But unlike the other techniques, this one in particular would take a little longer- despite all of her potential and talent.
