And so it began. His dreams, actions, and will leading him to a desolate corner of Tetsu no kuni; his homeland. Whether it be paranoia, a heavenly calling, or just his apparent randomness, Eun was called here. For what intent and purposes he did not know but whatever the case, he prepared himself. It was not as if he could foresee the future and tell he would be engaging in combat. Perhaps it was just his instincts which had been honed over the years.

Letting a loose a sigh, he mentally and physically prepared himself for what is to come. Adorned in his Samurai armor, he went over each piece to make sure they were positioned correctly before moving to his weapon. Drawing the massive blade from his back, his eyes traced the edges of his Empath to check for any damage. Satisfied with his inspection, he stood and waited. Patiently.

[Axcel]

This place really was the spitting image of his homeland. At least, what it looked like before the war had spread to the remote lands of Yuki no Kuni. Axcel knew the feeling of walking atop of endless amounts of snow all too well, and with every footstep taken he was reminded of feelings that could be described as nothing more than nostalgia. Clad in his hooded robe with sleeves that reached past his digits, Axcel’s long walk came to a sudden halt at the sight of a man clad in armor. It was a distinct and unlike anything a shinobi would wear to battle--suddenly the shinobi remebered just what country he was really in, and Axcel was certain of one thing about this man. . .

He was a Samurai.

“You seem upset!” Axcel shouted from the distance, nearly thirty meters away, flashing a cheeky grin as he did so. The armored warrior already had his weapon unsheathed, even prior to noticing Axcel, so the shinobi couldn’t help if someone had recently fallen victim to the Samurai. . .or worse, if the Samurai were looking for a victim to sate the hungry steel he carried in his hands.

The silence of the land came to a sudden halt with the resounding sound of light footsteps in the snow and mere moments later, a voice -- that of a man broke the low tone of the area. Looking to the direction the voice emanated from, he quickly noticed the hooded apparition standing in the distance. Taking a moment to process the words likely directed at him, Eun could not help but find it odd. Just what gave off the impression that he is upset. More importantly, how could this fellow even deduce something like that when adorn on Eun's face is a mask.

Whatever the case was, this was perhaps the moment Eun had been waiting for. The unknown force which called him here perhaps wished for him to do battle with this man. Or maybe they were to befriend one another. Either way, there was no need to hide his intentions and stay silent. "Upset? Why would I be? More importantly, do you wish to play?" Eun would say before pointing his blade at the stranger. How would this situation end?!

[Axcel]

It was good to know that the Samurai wasn’t in a bad mood after all. Axcel hadn’t any reason to think so, but the last thing he wanted to deal with was an angry, power tripping Samurai who had let it gone to his head that he was “policing” the shinobi world and could do whatever he liked. Fortunately, Axcel was wrong about this particular man. Still, it looked like he already had plans of his own--plans which seemed to involve the Rokudaime as well. . .

“Play? No, not really. . .” Axcel remarked with a trailing voice, the tip of a kunai gleaming against the sunlight protruding from his right sleeve. “It doesn’t seem like you’re one to take ‘No’ for an answer though--so I’ll humor you.” The shinobi spoke again, flashing another grin at the Samurai who had pointed his blade at him. With a heavy sigh, Axcel awaited the Samurai to make the first move, arming himself with only a strung kunai.

The shinobi’s free hand cycled through the twelve zodiac seals at frightening speeds, all under the guise of robe. Yukigakure no Sato’s Glacier Knight was all but revived, the forthcoming battle to determine whether he was still worthy of the title or not.

The moment the stranger took his stance, a smile formed on Eun's face. Finally, he met a person who was not afraid to partake in a duel with him. Too long had it been since someone wasn't scared at his mere visage simply cause he is 'Samurai.' "Your participation is much obliged." With a smile, he rose his blade above his head while at the same time channeling energy to the blade. At nearly the same moment the blade reached its apex height would it be brought back down with the least amount of power as possible.

Yet even with such a gentle swing, the chakra stored in the blade gushed forth from the tip in a crescent shape. Flying straight and true, it headed straight for the hooded man in the distance. How would he react to this warm welcome?

Description: Now that the samurai has gotten familiar with creating bladed chakra weaponry with and without the assistance of a base, they are able to propel their creations into a straight, linear form. Fast moving and dangerous, the chakra cutters rely their size, shape, strength and power entirely on how well the Samurai has honed and trained their chakra manipulations skills.

Axcel had crouched down, only to notice that the Samurai began to raise his blade--he took a stance as if he were going to attack, yet he was nearly thirty meters away. If he expected to be able to hit Axcel from there, he would need to be capable of some supernatural feats, and as far as Axcel was aware, the Samurai were not proficient in ninjutsu. Still, he remained weary as the hand seals he had begun earlier came to a end, allowing his jutsu to come into fruition as he palmed the snow.

Several columns of ice, four in total, emerged from the snow near the Samurai. While one came directly underneath the Samurai, three emerged around him and shot upward at an angle towards the ronin. Due to the thickness of the columns and the angle at which they moved towards, simply maneuvering through them didn’t appear like a feasible option to Axcel--if he hoped to escape the prison, which would encase him in a shell of ice should it make contact, the shinobi could only see the armor clad warrior either cutting his way through or take to the skies.

As for the crescent slash? Axcel had made sure not to ignore it. Though he was surprised that Samurai were capable of such a feat, the vertical, chakra infused crescent slash that had emerged from the man’s blade, although fast, wouldn’t advance thirty meters without giving Axcel more than enough time to avoid it. By simply making use of an aerial cartwheel towards his left side, he ensured that the chakra blade would whizz past him without doing any harm. Axcel, on the other hand, had cycled through another set of seals with his left hand, the very air cackling as his hyouton chakra did his bidding.

Only a fool would have thought the fight ended with a single swing of the sword and the emission of a chakra blade. Fortunately, Eun was not such a fool and had already prepared himself for retaliation. Having prepped himself, he would have ample time to react to whatever the stranger threw at him. Almost immediately upon the rising of the ice columns would Eun's body momentarily freeze before swinging his massive sword in a nearly 360 degree fashion. The strength of his strike easily allowing him to slice through the columns of ice and stop whatever their task had been. At the same time as he swung, Eun had taken a step back and to the left to avoid the center pillar rising from below.

Immediately following the destruction of the ice pillars, his visage would vanish before reappearing 5 meters closer to the hooded man. Wasting no time, he dashed forth to bring this battle into a more favorable range for himself.

Though the brief charge and small period after the swing leaves the user open, the trade-off is a devastating swinging sword that can decimate anything in its way.

Axcel was impressed when he noticed that the Samurai had been able to cut his Hyouton creations so easily. The ice forged by the shinobi’s chakra was no ordinary ice, having been bolstered by Axcel’s masterful chakra molding. Be it by weapon or the man’s swordsmanship, the fact that this Samurai was able to cut through the ice was a scary feat in itself. If Axcel hoped to walk away from this encounter with his life he would need to approach this battle with more caution. The foe that faced him today was no ordinary one--that much was certain.

When the iron clad warrior had reappeared even closer to Axcel, he would be met with fifteen chakra infused swallows converging onto him just as set into a dash, with five more further out behind circling the Samurai. Concurrently, the shinobi himself had been backpedaling while forging yet another handseal, and although it was likely slower than the Samurai, the extra distance would still be valuable The fifteen swooped in at all sides and at various angles. They were timed to hit their target at differing times, roughly a fraction of a second from one another--thus, if he were get to hit by one, then he would be hit by the rest to follow. The glowing birds aimed to furiously pelt the Samurai, and though they appeared to be weak and probably wouldn’t be sufficient enough to take down a warrior clad in such armor, Axcel was certain it would give him control of the fight.

Upon emerging from his hastily made movements, Eun immediately took notice of the bird-like creation which had surrounded him. With limited time to react, he moved quickly by first swinging his blade before himself while still moving to release yet another chakra cutter. Following the emission of his cutter, his left arm would be brought before himself before a ghostly blue creation formed on his left arm. By using his chakra, Eun had formed himself a shield of chakra which he intended to use to plow through the birds in front. By using his cutter to weaken the frontal assault, his shield and armor would deal with the rest of the damage to ensure his safety.

As soon as he is able to break through the front wave of swallows, another Shunpo would be used to close the distance between himself and the Shinobi. At the same time, creating distance between himself and the swallows left behind. This, however, would not be the end as upon emerging from his high-speed movement, his blade is swung horizontally to release his favorite friend, the chakra cutter. This one aimed to cleave the Shinobi in two at the waist all the while he continued his charge forward.

Whether the Samurai was naive or simply underestimated Axcel was unknown, but regardless of what it was, the iron clad warrior would pay dearly for it. Axcel’s ice was unlike any other, forged through a technique he had come to master, and thus, his creations were far stronger than they appeared. The frozen birds that had made the Samurai their target had continued their advance, and wouldn’t be stopped by the makeshift shield that the Samurai had managed to conjure. They pushed on through, connecting with the target’s armor as intended. As for the ones hit by the chakra cutter--they wouldn’t be destroyed so easily, and although weakened, they would press on towards their target.

The blue glow that the swallows had emitted earlier wasn’t without purpose, either. The glow was Axcel’s own chakra activating a peculiar technique known as Tsubame Gyouko. Whenever a single swallow would make contact with the Samurai, a meter of ice would encase the point of impact. Although the Samurai was capable of breaking the ice, as demonstrated earlier, his entire body would quickly be hit by a barrage of swallows, fifteen in all, encasing him in ice. Although the armor he wore may have been durable and able to protect him from damage, it wouldn’t prevent ice freezing over it, and eventually, himself. Struggle as must, as soon as a single one hit and encase him in a meter of ice, it was unlikely he would have the mobility to avoid any others, which would eventually, more likely than not, result in the Samurai becoming a fifteen meter block of ice.

As for the second chakra cutter? Assuming he had even been able to aim properly upon taking the swallows, Axcel would jump straight upward, making sure to tuck his knees in as the chakra cutter passed beneath him, lest he wanted his legs to be lopped off. Regarding the five birds that had been circling the man earlier, they continued to do so--remaining vigilant should the Samurai attempt to pull a fast one.

Axcel remained alert, though he suspected his enemy had been defeated.

Tsubame Gyouko (Freezing Swallows)

Special: Causes a 1 meter area around the impact location of any one 'Tsubame Fubuki' to freeze completely. Each time retrained grants one more meter. If the swallows miss and strike a wall or the floor, they create a sharp icicle with base diameter of one meter and a height of one meter.
Description: An extension of 'Tsubame Fubuki,' upon the use of the 'bird' seal, the Yukina's swallows emit a blue glow. Once activated, they not only furiously pelt their target, but encase the area of impact with ice. If these swallows miss and strike a wall or the ground, they instead create large icicles.

Perhaps he had grown cocky and underestimated the durability of his opponents ice or maybe he had hoped his cutter in combination of his shield would be enough for him to at least plow through a small wave of swallows. Either way, Eun now found himself in a world of trouble as he watched as the ice creations easily broke through his chakra creation. Impact was imminent, there was no stopping it but that didn't mean it would be the end. Knowing full well he would have to take a few hits, Eun focused on his next attack which might also prove to be his means of escape.

Ignoring the first impact by a single swallow, he lifted his blade up slight before thrusting the weapon forth. This, however, would not be a normal thrust aimed at the birds specifically. A unique technique within the Ju Kenshi arsenal, the Stinger, would grant Eun the ability to pierce through whatever stood before him as well as move at frightening speeds in a straight line. It's distance, however, limited to the amount of Shunpo he possessed. By utilizing 6 of his 11 remaining Shunpo, his forward charge would carry him the full distance to his opponent near instantaneously. Hopefully, this maneuver would be enough to cease his opponents movements -- permanently.

Sasu (Stinger) - 6x

Special: Reliant on Shunpo, this attack allows the Ju Kenshi to move as fast the High-Speed Foot Technique in a straight line after charging. As such, each Stinger used consumes a single 'Shunpo' charge, traveling up to 5 meters; multiple 'Shunpo' can be strung together to make one big Stinger, at the cost of using so many charges up. Damage is reliant on 'Zanbatou Mochi' plus the user's highest rank known, resulting in bonus penetrating damage.
Description: A vicious attack by the Ju Kenshi, the Stinger is a frontal strike residing within the bladed end of the user's oversized sword. By positioning the tip of the sword forward, the Ju Kenshi drives the blade handle forward in order to penetrate anything before them. Moving at lightning speeds after their charge, the user plunges the blade into their enemy, having a high chance of creating the desired incision, and then some. With this technique, all those viewing will witness the unveiling of a true Ju Kenshi.

Zanbatou Mochi - S

Axcel admired the man’s resolve--his ability to continue to fight despite being hit by several swallows which encased him in a meter of ice each was no easy feat. Still, Axcel, who had just narrowly dodged a chakra cutter earlier, had noticed that the man lifted his blade once more. What was he planning this time? Axcel already knew he was capable of devastating ranged attacks, so he expected another blue crescent to be headed towards his way just as he was about to land. That was Axcel’s rationale upon seeing the sword raised once more, and he commended the Samurai to being tactically aware enough that it would be difficult to dodge a projectile if Axcel were caught in mid-air.

Unfortunately--even Axcel had a few tricks up his sleeve. Just as he reached the crest of his jump and began his downward descent, Axcel thrust his legs outwards as if he were pushing against the very air. Surprisingly enough, that’s exactly what he did. He jumped higher into the air, essentially pulling off a double jump. His jump wasn’t directly upward though, he jumped off towards his left as well a bit, just incase the chakra cutter he expected to come towards him was vertical and not horizontal. This was possible through the one taijutsu style Axcel had taken the time to learn--Tenjouken. Ninjutsu wasn’t the only thing Axcel was proficient in.

The shinobi was genuinely surprised when he saw that the Samurai had practically teleported thirty meters, having moved from his previous position to directly beneath Axcel almost instantly. Had Axcel landed onto the ground, he would died for sure. Still--so long as the Samurai was alive and only a mere few meters away, Axcel was in a dangerous position regardless. Axcel’s immediate reaction was to throw the kunai he had been holding in his right hand for so long. Throwing it with all his might, Axcel aimed the projectile towards the ronin’s thigh. He was certain his metal projectile would hit due to all the ice that covered the Samurai, making mobility a huge issue for the fighter.

Whenever Axcel would land against the snowy field, it would be no more than three meters away from the warrior.

Tenjou no Shuuren (Discipline of Heaven and Earth)

Description: The most basic technique of Tenjouken, this lays the foundation for the entirety of the style. It is a training of the body and a utilization of it to its utmost potential. Though not on the levels of the chakra-enhanced strength utilized by medic-nin, practitioners of Tenjouken have amazing physical power and speed with which to back it up. They focus on hitting hard and fast using efficient maneuvers. However, their training does not only cover offense; their bodies are extremely enduring and efficient.

1. Hien (Flight of the Swallow)

Range: Self
Special: Allows the user to change momentum in midair, and adds a boost of momentum equal to one jump. Can be used once per jump, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: By kicking against the air and utilizing chakra similar to the way it is used when walking on water, the user is able to "double jump." This can be used in any direction, for a second upward boost, to alter momentum midair to avoid an attack, or even upwards to plummet to the ground with a boost of momentum.
Domain: Tenjouken, Tenjou no Shuuren 'B'

Eun was not one to jump the gun and immediately assume that any of his movements would immediately end the battle; especially against this adversary. For his skills were on par with his own which made this battle all the more challenging. On top of that, the Shinobi seemed like an ice user meaning he held the terrain advantage and a long ranged user at that. With Eun's arsenal being mostly melee ranged skills, there is little he could do to combat his opponent from throwing jutsu after jutsu at him.

Emerging from his Stinger, Eun soon noticed that his strike had failed in killing his target but at least granted him escape from that icy prison. Looking to the sky, he noticed how the Shinobi managed to change his direction in mid-air; a skill Eun had never seen before but quickly took note of. He had assumed the Shinobi was all but lost in the skills of Taijutsu but his aerial movement said otherwise. Nevertheless, this battle would have to end soon for the ice on his armor was beginning to hinder his movements. There was also the chance of him freezing to death on top of it all.

Wasting no time, he switched the grip on his weapon from a normal grip to a back-hand grip similar to how one would expect a ninja to hold a Ninjato. Cocking his blade back briefly, his movements ceased for a moment similar to earlier. Due to the ice slowing his movement, Eun is forced to ignore the kunai heading his way and hope his next attack would end the battle and possibly block the incoming Kunai. After the momentary ceasing of movement, his blade swung upwards at an angle -- his bottom right to his top left -- a near invisible and fast moving cutter is unleashed; aimed at the Shinobi's estimated landing zone.

This cutter, unlike those before it, possessed much more power but only half the range of its cousin. With the strength of the blade beam, it would be enough to weaken the incoming kunai. Though the small blade did hit true to its target, it would not be able to fully dig itself in -- getting in an inch or so -- as the force of the blade beam would be enough to knock the object to the ground. The wound, however, was still there and only helped to further cut Eun's movements. His actions near desperation but how long could he keep this up?

Description: As its name implies, the Blade Beam is a range attack as a result of a sword swing. The user cocks their weapon back briefly and, after charging, cuts the air before them. The result is pure cutting power forming a near invisible blade beam that travels wherever the user desires. The speed of the cutter is frighteningly fast, and can grow in size as the Ju Kenshi grows in skill and strength. Finally, the strength of the beam is directly proportionate to the cutting powers of the blade employed.

“Tch,” Axcel grunted as he reached the peak of his second jump. The Samurai was a tenacious one, and Axcel knew the iron clad warrior wasn’t finished once he switched his grip on his massive weapon. Unable to utilize the Tenjouken technique he had used earlier until he was able to find solid footing, the lad knew he would need to rely on ninjutsu once more. Axcel’s hand shifted into a single handseal while the Samurai cocked his blade back. A tile materialized beneath Axcel’s feet, the shinobi landing gracefully onto the tile, his knees bending slightly before launching into a front, placing himself some seven meters directly above the Samurai. Since Axcel had landed onto a floating tile, the blade beam would hit nothing but snow, causing a torrent of frost to lift into the air.

Just as Axcel had leaped off the tile, he would activate the explosive note that had been strung to the Kunai. Although an explosive note had a radius of five meters and the Samurai had knocked the kunai well within that radius, Axcel hadn’t placed enough confidence in the weapon to finish the ronin. Axcel’s front flip had turned into a kick--though it was not meant to connect with his opponent. No, it was channeling his fuuton chakra, which would release a torrent of wind downward upon the Samurai, capable of shredding whatever remained of him. Axcel then made use of the Tenjouken technique he had used earlier, effectively double jumping and creating more distance between him and his opponent. Three handseals were formed as Axcel landed against the snow, which explode the ice that was attached to the Samurai.

If he were to survive that--then Axcel was going to be dealing with one helluva monster.

Description: Although basic, this jutsu nonetheless is hhighly effective for mobile Yukina members. After forming a single handseal, the clan member can create a floating ice tile anywhere they wish within range, allowing them to use it as a stepping stone towards higher planes.

Description: As its name implies, this specializes secret Yukina ninjutsu allows the user to detonate ice creations into a sea of high-speed ice shards. As long as the ice creation is within range, they merely observe it and focus their Hyouton chakra on it, allowing for detonation moments later.

Description: This jutsu was brought to fame by a legendary Suna shinobi from long ago, and was named after a mythical creature able to command the winds on a whim. After channeling chakra to a limb or weapon, the user executes a large swipe, letting loose an intense wind in a one hundred and eighty degree cone. The winds are razor sharp, cover a wide area, and can cut through trees like butter.

Once again, Eun's plans are foiled by the actions of ice jutsu. Yet again the Shinobi managed to escape the clutches of death thanks to his ice jutsu. And to make matters worse, Eun's stamina had reached its limits due to the freezing temperatures as well as the ice which covered him. In tandem with his already diminishing condition, the Shinobi countered with a barrage of jutsu; likely to end the frozen warrior. Hit after hit only helped to put Eun out of his misery but death would not be instant. Due to his extremely tough armor, his death would be delayed for a few more moments.

With the last of his strength, Eun would toss his weapon at the Shinobi as he floated toward the ground. A last act of spite for the extremely annoying ice user. "Fuck you, asshole." And with his last few breaths, he aimed a single fingered gesture at the Shinobi.
