Special: Sends a quick stream of lava up from the ground or from the user’s mouth streaming to the opponent.
Description: Flying at the speed of a kunai, the user sends a flowing stream of magma rushing at their target. The user can melt the ground nearby and release a steady stream of magma for one second for each rank of Fushokuzai they posses (D = 1 second, S = 5 seconds). When it is suits the user or when there is no earth to melt, Yōton practitioners can spit magma from their mouths. The width of this stream is 10% of the user's Fushokuzai range.

Special: Renders the user immune to their own lava’s effects that it inflicts on opponents.
Description: A difficult to learn yet easy to use technique, users of the Yōton release have developed a way to make themselves immune to the burning and corrosive effects of their own lava. By coating the area of their body in contact with the normally dangerous substance with Yōton aligned chakra, the user repels the magma and the heat it radiates on a microscopic level. The amount of energy consumed while performing this technique is proportionate to the volume of lava they are protecting themselves against. Small droplets of castoff magma can be mitigated without much effort at all, where full body submersion for a turn of combat will cost a High amount of chakra. Additionally, this technique, since it responds to the magma’s chakra signature, will only grant immunity to lava created by the user of this jutsu.

Yōton: Kajiya no Kokuyōseki ( Lava Release: Obsidian Forge ) [/u]

Special: Hardens lava into obsidian, crafting into portable, handheld objects.
Description: By sculpting magma into the desired shape, the user will then rapidly cool the substance, transforming it from molten earth to it’s solid, obsidian state. The D rank version of this technique grants the ability to forge 1 pack of standard, overview secondary weapons at a time (such as kunai, shuriken, and senbon) plus one additional pack for each time this ability is re-trained. The C ranked upgrade of this technique allows the user to craft one non-unique, standard, overview style weapon (like katana, staffs, and axes) plus one additional weapon for each time the B ranked version is relearned. These weapons are meant to replace store bought and professionally forged armaments in a pinch, because the durability of the hardened lava can only stand up to one rank lower than the highest rank of the user’s Fushokuzai technique.

Special: Releases a thin sheet of lava above the battlefield, which tries to corrode anything unfortunate enough to have the technique fall on top of them.
Description: After forming hand seals, the user spits a large, thin sheet of lava into the air above the battlefield, the maximum size of which is determined by their Fushokuzai. This technique, if used correctly, prevents those under the sheet of magma from an easy aerial escape. The sheet will then quickly descend, the outer edges quicker than the rest, attempting to trap and then smother anything unfortunate enough to be caught under this attack.

Yōton: Yōgan Shōheki ( Lava Release: Lava Barrier ) [/u]

Special: Summons a barrier of lava to protect an ally or group of allies from an oncoming attack.
Description: With the aid of hand seals, the user either causes a dome of lava to erupt from the ground or spits a sheet of lava into the air which floats quickly to shield an ally or a group of allies from an incoming attack. The barrier can take any form the user chooses (such as a wall or dome) so long as it’s dimensions don’t exceed 10 x 10 meters. The strength of this technique is dependant on the user’s Fushokuzai technique. For every turn this barrier is maintained as magma, an additional moderate amount of chakra is consumed. Otherwise, the lava solidifies into obsidian, losing 1 rank of defense permanently.

Special: Grant’s the user the ability to harden lava into obsidian, effectively allowing them to manipulate the battlefield in nearly any way they see fit.
Description: By forming a few hand seals, the user can rapidly cool lava they have created, shaping the substance into nearly any form they can think of. From statues to spikes, to stair cases, this versatile technique gives Yōton users access to a different style of combat. However, this ability can only create static objects, meaning functional animals and clones cannot be made with this technique. These creations are also immobile and cannot be controlled or moved further with this technique. Since obsidian is a rather brittle substance, the stone will have a defensive rating of one rank lower than the user’s Fushokuzai skill.

Yōton: Yōryudan (Lava Release: Lava Dragon Projectile ) [/u]

Type: Offensive Ninjutsu

Special: Creates a massive, chinese style dragon which flies through the air before exploding upon impact, splattering molten lava everywhere.
Description: After forming seals, the user either summons magma from the ground or spits a steady stream from their mouth, which takes the form of a dragon 2 meters in width and equal to half of the user’s fushokuzai range in length. The user can control the trajectory of the massive projectile, however, it must continuously move in the general direction it was launched. Upon impact, the dragon will explode, sending lava splattering for 10 meters in all directions.

Yōton: Yūkai Yōburi ( Lava Release: Melting Lava Splatter ) [/u]

Special: Causes an object crafted from obsidian by the user to melt from the inside out, building up pressure before the object bursts, sending globs of lava a short distance.
Description: With the aid of handseals, the user can cause an object they crafted out of obsidian to heat up and eventually melt from the inside out, causing pressure to build up before the object explodes. The range that the lava is splattered is equal to 10% of the user’s Fushokuzai range and requires a flat charging time of half a turn before it can be detonated.

Note sure if I am allowed to post in here, but i just wanted to let you know that

[2!][/color]However, due to a recent sitewide incident, some techniques are mising, Youkai being one of them. Im not sure if two techniques with the same namer matter, but I just wanted to let you know now. (:

Due to this tec hnique being a B rank, it must be at least[/color] High chakra consumption. Seeing as this technique makes you unharmed by your own lava, I would almost see it being Very High, or bump it to A rank. Also, I would not say this technique could be passive (meaning use it once, and not have to reinitiate it). I think it would be reasonable to make this a chakra drain per turn (High or Very High depending on what staffers think).

Yōton: Kajiya no Kokuyōseki ( Lava Release: Obsidian Forge )

What would happen once the weapons made from these technique's break? Would they explode into sharp obsidian shards. Would it explode into a blobs of lava? This might be fleshed out a little more for clarity sake.

Updated some things.

However, I dont think that using a B rank technique beneath it's potential should still cost a High amount of chakra. If a few drops of lava splashes back onto me, it shouldn't totally exhaust my chakra supply to keep from getting burnt.

The same goes for obsidian world dominion. Making giant pillars, a house, or a spiky network of spears should cost alot. However, if i just need 1, meter tall spike, it shouldnt require tons of chakra either. I designed them to be versatile without the need for a multi ranked EXP tree.

However, if staff decides that they must cost a high amount of chakra, i'll rework them

Yōton: Kajiya no Kokuyōseki ( Lava Release: Obsidian Forge ): I feel like these could be lower ranked if you wanted (D/C Rank); the only thing preventing that is how you're limiting the durability. You could make it based off your base tech and that would solve the problem. /shrug;; if you don't want to change it, I'm fine with it. Just let me know.

Yōton: Yōgan Shōheki ( Lava Release: Lava Barrier ): We don't allow defensive techniques to gather their strength from a base technique. The technique needs to be multi-ranked, otherwise you're just getting around the system. Sorry. ^^;;

The only difference between Yoryudan and Napāmuryūben is the fact the one is longer, since the lava from the first technique wouldn't have dissipated upon impact and it can be assumed that if there's still lava touching someone or something that it will continue to burn. Just make the Yoryudan multi-ranked, as there's no reason for two separate techs.

Yōton: Yūkai Yōburi ( Lava Release: Melting Lava Splatter ) : Needs some sort of time range for how long it would take for the object to be heated enough to burst.
