Kouhei made his way into the place where his Kage did most of her business in a hurried manner. A lot had happened since leaving the village for his mission to deliver a message to Kusa. Not only did he get his own letter to bring back for the Tsuchikage, but while returning home he seemed to find himself in a much larger event concerning the Sanbi. He knew it would have been more appropriate to deliver his message before running out to see what all the fuss was, but he couldn’t help himself. Because of that he had even more to discuss with Coco-sama.

As he made his way to the office, that Coco was hopefully waiting, he did his best to ensure the body precariously held in his arms didn’t slip out of his clutches. The second the pair had arrived back in the village Kouhei had the presence of mind to wrap what was left of the corpse in a blanket. He didn’t think it would serve their purposes well if everyone freaked out at the sight of the body. He still wasn’t exactly sure what the point of bringing this mangled body back to their village was, but Max had seemed determined and that was all that mattered.

He was a little sore that the Genin couldn’t stay behind and become a Jinchuuriki himself in the end there wasn’t anything he could do about it. Max had asked him to help in taking the body back and he couldn’t say no to a comrade. He would just have to bide his time for now and when the next bijuu appeared do everything in his power to make sure that he was the one who captured it. As he finally entered the office of the Kage and allowed his gaze to search for Coco-Sama one thought rang through his mind. Next time he would become a Jinchuuriki for sure! ”My apologies for intruding, but I have urgent business with Lady Coco-Sama”

From his position on the building lower than the hospital he was unable to see the shinobi who had positioned themselves there. However, with Max positioned diagonally left of his own building there was nothing obscuring his line of sight from seeing the two Anbu leap across the gap towards Max’s location. The second he saw the enemy shinobi approach his friend he was immediately in action. He would not let his comrade die while he stood by and did nothing. His own location was still rather secure where he was standing so he did not fear his own life. Worst case scenario he could jump onto his bird and take flight.

Kouhei was already commanding his birds to fly towards the Suna Anbu even as they crossed the distance. He would cut them off before they ever got a chance to attack Max. It seemed that his squad leader Bass had a similar idea because as his birds moved into position to attack so too did his squad leader’s creations attack. Thankfully, because he spent his time since arriving positioning his birds for an attack in any direction he already had several nearby and ready to strike. 2 birds fluttered their wings and seemed to appear from the depths of the streets below. They maneuvered to compliment Bass’s own creations and aid to block off any escape.

Kouhei spoke just as his birds reached their destination, “You don’t want to mess with my friends Suna. You mess with my friends and I’m likely to just go off!” With that Kouhei prepared the hand sign for Katsu. No matter what they tried his creations would go off before they were given the chance. He was ready for whatever may come, his friend’s life depended on it.

Kouhei walked back into Josephine’s. He was happy to see that the place looked so much the same despite feeling as if he had been gone for ages. The idea to hang around the bar for a bit and mingle with the shinobi coming in for missions managed to play in his mind for a second before he wiped that away. He was here on the mission that Rosario had given him and there wouldn’t be time to socialize until it was completed. It was a little contradictory to his preferred method, but he owed it to Rosario. The Genin approached Josephine with a smile and nodded his head at her. ”Hello Josephine. My mission to Kusa was finished. I’m on my way to talk to the Kage now just wanted to check in and hand in the completion. Have a good one." After handing in the necessary reports Kouhei made his leave to meet Coco-sama.

Seeing as how you are given bonus XP on an approved transfer I doubt they would force you to abide by the D & C rank rule since that applies to fresh characters and a transfer isn't truly fresh. However, make sure your transfer is approved first and any changes needed to be made are done so.

They are indeed free to any registered shinobi as long as the jutsu is of E-rank. Which is all the ones we have listed any way.

From his place on his bird Kouhei watched as Max made his way over to the body. He couldn’t tell what his fellow Iwa nin was doing, but he assumed it was checking the pulse. Why Max would even bother on such a destroyed corpse was a little beyond him, but his friend could do what he wanted. Things had certainly turned out rather violently for the group. To think when he had first arrived he had assumed all the shinobi would work together and form some sort of coalition against the Sanbi only to end up turning on them all. Now there were two dead shinobi around them and another who was attacked and had to retreat.



Kouhei felt his body stiffen as Max spoke. The young man had to fight the urge to turn his head and look out towards the destination where Sanbi awaited. He desperately wanted the Sanbi. The idea of having a bijuu working with him, as his friend, for the rest of his life was very tempting. However, he could feel his resolve slowly crumble with every word from Max. It was true that Kouhei wanted a friend for life, but Max was his friend right now. He couldn’t be sure if Max would always be there, but the man needed him and Kouhei wouldn’t let his friend down. Kouhei realized he might never get a chance at another bijuu, but for a friend it was a sacrifice he was willing to make.



The man, Gungnir, whom Kouhei finally learned his name said something akin to Max, though his was a command. Kouhei wasn’t all too keen to listen to the stranger, but it didn’t matter since his orders aligned perfectly with what he had planned on doing in the first place. With a flap of wings Kouhei’s bird crossed the distance between himself and Max. He waited for Max to hop on and then moved over to the body. His bird bent over placing what was still whole in its mouth before knocking its head back so the still form could slide down into its empty gullet. Since his creation was just clay Kouhei didn’t have to worry about any sort of stomach acids disturbing the body, but at the same time the stomach would provide a nice receptacle for it. With one last flap of wings the bird took off and Kouhei shouted back to Gungnir, ”Good luck Gungnir. I eagerly look forward to your success.” In Kouhei’s mind he had wanted to say something a little bit more commanding concerning the need for success, but in the end he was raised to be far too polite. Here was hoping he would get the next one…
