Kouhei could hear the footsteps behind him. He could only assume it was Max because the other shinobi had been falling closely behind him. It was this man’s request that had brought Kouhei to meet the Tsuchikage with a body held in his arms. He still had his own message and mission to report, but he had to assume that the body was going to take precedent. He would just have to hope that whatever Max wished to discuss with Coco-Sama wouldn’t take so much time that it would prevent Kouhei from performing his own debriefing.
Kouhei didn’t voice his concerns though. Rather he remained quiet as Max made a comment that complimented his own, though Max’s was more urgent. Thankfully, it seemed that the pair would not have to wait on the Tsuchikage. She seemed more than willing to see them and judging from how she waved off Rosa for the time being. Kouhei managed a smile to his Kage as she greeted them, but his smile soured as she mentioned the body. As per her orders Kouhei gently lay the body down on a coffee table, making sure it was still wrapped up tight. He then took a seat on the couch she had gestured to.
Kouhei had the grace to look embarrassed as he spoke, “The mission to Kusagakure no Sato was a success. I even have a letter from Blanche-Sama to be given to you. I believe that our relationship to them is still quite strong. However, Rosario orders were to deliver the letter to you on my own. I do not know what has become of her. I thought for sure that she would beat me back to the village. On my way back I got sort of swept up in events surrounding the sudden emergence of the Sanbi. I was unable to deliver the letter until now. I will let Max explain the other thing we brought though…” His eyes fell on the other thing in question, the body. As he stared at the body his hands dove into a pouch and revealed the letter written by Blanche. He stood up, placing it on her desk, before taking a seat once more.
