With the store keeper now gone to get her haircut the mission was now officially underway. Kouhei’s mission if he chose to accept it was to man the store while the owner was off getting a haircut and hopefully get a sale. Kouhei wasn’t a hundred percent certain if the conditions of a successful mission involved making a sale, but it most definitely wouldn’t hurt the mission if he did sell something. Kouhei could only hope that if no one came in to the store while the owner was away she would renege on the payment simply because the store was dead and saw no business. The Genin wasn’t entirely sure how the village handled that sort of thing, but even for something like a D-Rank he doubted they would simply let the issue pass. He liked to the think that the Kage and those who were in charge of receiving payment were fair and good with those who sought to do business with them, but they couldn’t let something like skipping out on a payment stand. After all it may start with just a lowly D-Rank mission, but if they didn’t make the shop keeper pay than next it could be some daimyo thinking he was above paying for an S-Rank. No, they would ensure she would pay. Kouhei would just do his best to make sure she had no reason not to.

A few minutes passed with Kouhei passing the time by simply admiring the jewelry. He never took the expensive baubles out of their displays, but he pressed his face close to the displays as he took in the cut of every rock in the store. Iwagakure no Sato had one of the finest selections of jewelry in the entire world. A village hidden within massive structures of rock formations had ways of finding all sorts of mining veins. Kouhei had never left the village in order to see one of these veins, but he had overheard villagers talk about them and the vast amount of emeralds, diamonds, rubies, and other expensive baubles they contained. Eventually Kouhei grew tired of leering at all the jewelry. The shinobi had no taste for such gaudy things and he had yet to ever see a rock that could compare in aesthetic beauty to one of his creations. He doubted even the diamonds housed in this establishment could withstand the full magnificence of one of his works of art.

With nothing better to do Kouhei went to the back returning with a broom. On the off chance that a customer didn’t eventually show up and allow him to get a sale he was damn sure going to make sure the store was spotless. He wasn’t going to let the store owner think he did absolutely nothing this entire time. The Genin then began to sweep the floor moving throughout the store with some grace. As he worked diligently he whistled to himself and let his mind ponder over all the creations he would make with the new clay he purchased. There was so much he could do now that he finally had some usable clay. Kouhei couldn’t wait to put them to good use and make him some new friends. If it weren’t for his job he would have probably made some right then and there to keep him company. However, the little guys for some reason put others off and Kouhei didn’t want to scare away any potential customers with the sight of them. The Genin would bide his time for now. As if on cue the small bell chimed as the boy’s head rose and before him was a customer. The shinobi would get his chance!

Kouhei strolled into the bar his eyes moving around and taking everything in. When he felt properly satisfied about seeing everything there was in the establishment he made his way over to the board which listed all the possible jobs he could take. This was Kouhei’s first time in the establishment and now that Kouhei was officially a shinobi of the village he was hoping it would not be his last. It took him a moment to find one that he liked, but when he finally did he grinned widely. The Genin then turned to regard the woman who seemed to be in charge of the place. He dipped his head in a small bow before saying, ”I’ll be manning the shop for Madam Iva. I would appreciate it if you let her know I am on my way.” Kouhei hesitated a moment to made sure she had understood him and would do as he said and then promptly nodded his head in thanks and left. Maybe if he got lucky he would make some friends at the store!



EXIT

Kouhei stared up at the building that housed the hanging gardens. His eyes squinted as they tried in futile to make out just how many tiers the gardens utilized in order to accentuate its beauty. After a minute Kouhei finally gave up trying to count them all realizing he would only lose count and be forced to start over. It didn’t matter how many tiers were built any way since their beauty was pale in comparison to true art. If he wanted his creations could easily dismantle this supposed beauty in a fashion that would force anyone within Iwagakure no Sato to stare in awe at its grace and explosive radiance. However, Kouhei would never dare commit such an act. Not only would it only bring the ire of people he would try and win over, but it would be a waste of lives. He could bring his little friends, his creations, back to life as much as he wanted, but he would spare them pain if he could. Just thinking of his little friends made him wish he could withdraw some clay and form one or two to converse with. Unfortunately, now was not the time.

Kouhei had been woken in the morning by a messenger of the Tsuchikage’s. The servant of the Kage had given Kouhei a notice that notified him that he was supposed to meet the Kage at this place and at this time. For the life of Kouhei he could not even begin to fathom what the Kage wished of him. Kouhei was still a fairly recent graduate of the academy and although he had showed some promise he didn’t think any of his teachers would have bothered to talk to the Kage on his behalf. Whatever the reason Kouhei was eager to please the leader of the village. Perhaps if he proved himself and the Kage liked him the other villagers would come to accept him. Kouhei was sure that all he needed was some goodwill and the villagers would begin to trust him and be willing to be his friend. For some good friends Kouhei was willing to endure a little hardship regardless of the dangers. The Genin felt confident that whatever Kage Coco had planned for him Kouhei would be able to handle it. His art is the grandest gift the shinobi world has ever seen and through it not only would Kouhei make this world a little bit more wondrous, but he would ensure that whatever challenges came before him his art’s splendor would overcome it.

Kouhei wasted no time racing up the steps of the gardens. He knew the rules and did his best to not step on any grass in his haste. The Kage was very strict about beauty and the rules of such a place were known well amongst the villagers. It only took a couple of flights before Kouhei heard voices, rather a voice. Although he had yet to meet the Tsuchikage in person there was no mistaking the voice. Kouhei slowed his gait so that he was walking normally as he drew nearer. Panting and jogging towards the Kage would not seem cool and wouldn’t help to make him friends. When he was finally on the scene he could see the Kage was talking to someone that Kouhei did not know. His heart suddenly fluttered for an instant as the prospect of making two friends in one day suddenly filled him with a surge of nervous excitement. The Genin did what he could to calm himself as he approached the pair and bowed before his Kage. He then spoke, ”I am sorry to intrude. Kouhei, at your service Tsuchikage. I was told to see you out at this time.” Kouhei did his best to remain calm as he smiled nervously, his sharp fangs glinting in the light.

Jutsu

[/li][li]Tier One - Explosive Ordnances: Through learning to refine and compact their explosive chakra even further, the user now possesses the ability to generate even more powerful explosions for the same amount of chakra. Because of this, the range of all Kubaku-Nendo explosions have been increased by a total of two meters.

[/li][li]Tier Two - 'Bomb' Voyage: Arguably the most long-ranged fighters in all the world, members of the Kibaku-Nendo pride themselves on how far their creations can travel from their person. Seeking to push their limits to all new heights, user’s with this mastery will have an additional twenty meters added to their maximum Kouguchi Bakuha range.

Special: The foundation of all a Kibaku-Nendo’s techniques, this determines the power placed behind the clan member's clay explosions when a hand-mouth is molding clay, as well as the maximum range that the bombs can travel away from the user before detonating. Explosive power does not correlate directly to the distance traveled (i.e a five meter explosive bomb doesn’t have to travel fifty meters; it can travel anywhere from zero to fifty meters while retaining the maximum explosive power). It should be noted that creations which step outside of the user’s range instantly become “duds,” as in they lose their explosive properties (even if re-entering the user’s range). All techniques, unless specified otherwise, require one "glob" of clay in order to be created.

Description: Said to be the clan member's most gross yet most fundamental power, the ability to control one's hand-mouths is the key towards victory or defeat on the battlefield. With the hand-mouth open and ready for clay, the user learns to feed it and near-instantly send their Bakuton chakra into their creation, carried by how well they can control Blast chakra. However, after a second or so, the hand-mouth spits out the user's full representation of explosive power within their clay creation, allowing the Kibaku-Nendo to proceed further with other clan techniques. As for detonation? Through the simple formation of 'Katsu' - the single seal that symbolizes standard explosive note blasts everywhere.

Kibaku Iritsuku (Clay Infusion Point)

Special: The actual grunt work of the Kibaku-Nendo’s abilities, this technique involves the user’s ability to actually mold the clay into the desire creatures. With the exception of the Get Away Bird technique, all other “creations” cannot be used in the same post that this technique is employed.
Description: Though it is crucial the clan member awakens their hand-mouth in order to even have a shot at mastering the Kibaku-Nendo clan techniques, with time and practice, they can get faster and faster at making their explosions, regardless of the clay's size, shape, or rank of explosion. In the end, once the mouth grows comfortable chewing on a certain piece of ranked clay, it will surely create the next one in less time!

Kibaku-Nendo • C1 "Shī Wan" (Exploding Clay • C1)

Special: Creates small bombs for short-range and/or quick combat. Explosive power and distance that creations can travel is determined by the user's highest 'Kouguchi Bakuha' rank; creation time is determined by the user's highest 'Kibaku Iritsuku' rank. When first learned, this technique can only create one creature per blob of clay (per hand). However, each new rank adds one additional creature, up to a maximum of five per blob of clay (per hand).
Description: Simple but deadly, this effective combat technique allows the clan member to use their clay to fashion creatures and animals capable of bearing their unique Bakuton chakra. After withdrawing a bit of clay from their pouch, the clan member will use either hand-mouth in the palms of their hands in order to consume the it, in the process infusing it with Blast chakra. The result are these small animated clay-dolls that often resemble animals and insects of nature. Best of all? Depending upon which variation is created, they will retain the abilities of the creatures they where modelled after - i.e. those resembling birds can still fly, those resembling fish can still swim, those resembling insects can still crawl on surfaces, etc.

Special: The “getaway bird” has a two meter wingspan. This creation is only capable of sustaining the weight of one or two average sized people. Despite being used more for transportation, the Getaway Bird is capable of detonating like a typical bomb; explosion power depends on the user’s highest Kouguchi Bakuha rank. This technique can only move as far away from user as highest ranked 'Kouguchi Bakuha' known (which means should the user be on it, the bird can travel indefinitely). Requires two standard clay blobs. Unlike standard creations, this bird can move exceptionally fast and possesses a very high-end mobility and thusly can perform very impressive evasive maneuvers while in flight.
Description: Molding clay into a tiny bird about the size of a C1 bomb, the user can then perform a special handseal to make the the bird expand into a size in which it can hold one or two people and sustain flight. Just like C1, the user can control where the bird moves, but what differs this bird from what's created in C2, is the size and the inability to do anything other than support the user for flight and explode.

Nendo Keishiki (Clay Formation)

Special: While time for a rock to turn into clay is forcibly shortened, process still takes a full two turns at 'C' Rank, and one turn at 'B' rank. The user must keep at least one hand on the rock at all times. At c-rank the user is capable of turning the rock (it must fit into the palm of your hand) into one glob of clay; a b-rank the user can generate two blobs of clay per rock.
Description: Clay is naturally made through long periods of time, which involve weathering away at rocks. For people who use clay for battle or crafting this can be a hassle to wait for. With this jutsu, the user can take any decent sized rock nearby about the size of their palm(or if they have a method of pulling a chunk of earth from the ground), they can use their chakra to speed up this process. Their chakra working miracles as the rock will wither away before their eyes, turning into clay. Once the process is done, it will possess the properties of any piece of clay naturally made. This can be conventional for Kibaku-Nendo members in need of clay.

Kibaku Nendo • C3 "Shi Shuri" (Exploding Clay • C3 [Specialty #18 Jutsu!])

Special: The more refined version of the lesser C1 jutsu, the C3 specialty allows the user to create a single unique creature. These creatures can either fly, walk, or swim (one or the other; cannot combine) regardless of how awkward they may or may not look. These creatures retrain a fairly high level of mobility and maneuverability, and thusly move considerably faster than their C1 counterparts. Only one C3 creation can be conjured at a time. These creations require two blobs of clay to create.
Description: The Kibaku-Nendo's most powerful large scale bomb, it is a terribly powerful use of Blast chakra that can decimate large areas almost instantly. After preparing the explosive clay for this attack into a more portable, handheld form, the miniature clay creation bares an appearance exactly the same as the larger version. Once activated, the bomb instantaneously increases its proportions before being subsequently dropped, where it extends both its "arms" outwards until they are completely horizontal. Upon contact or command, the explosion begins.

Kibaku Nendo • C2 Doragon "Shī Tsū" (Exploding Clay • C2 Dragon)

Special: Creates a large dragon capable of flight and attacking purposes. In order to control the dragon, the user must establish direct contact between themselves and any part of the dragon's body, so that the chakra can properly commingle. Dragon may fly anywhere regardless of contact, but can only attack with it established. Size of Dorago, range of missiles, and explosive power of missiles and landmines is determined by the user's highest 'Kouguchi Bakuha' rank; creation time is determined by the user's highest 'Kibaku Iritsuku' rank. Missiles have an explosive range of 10 meters, while mines cover an area of 5 meters with each blast. Clay missiles travel at moderate speeds. Only one dragon may exist at a time. Rank determines the amount of mines and missiles that can be used before the dragon is consumed and must be remade. Requires 10 standard clay blobs.

Description: One of the Kibaku-Nendo's specialties, this grand technique requires the use of both of hand-mouths in order to create a large dragon capable of flight, to the point the user can safely ride on its back. During this ride, the user can control the dragon, directing it where to go, and even to attack - the dragon can spit out smaller clay figures that attack the opponent like guided missiles, as well as other offensive tactics. These independent missile-like creatures take the form of a greatly reduced version of the larger dragon that created them, yet despite the decrease in size they are still relatively larger than a normal person. Each is capable of tracking their intended target and producing a significant explosion proportional to size upon contact but as they emerge, they consume a substantial amount of clay from the original dragon, initially extracting it from the creature's tail. This ultimately limits the number that each C2 "Dragon Missile" is capable of creating, before clay must be sacrificed from more vital areas, such as the body or wings. The dragon can also produce clay mines at the expense of clay, that take the form of small spherical creatures, which can be subsequently manipulated to force opponents to fight in a limited space. In the end however, all of this is only possible if the Kibaku-Nendo works hard and trains harder!

Kibaku Nendo Bunshin (Exploding Clay Clone)

Special: Clone's explosive power depends on their highest 'Kouguchi Bakuha' rank. Up to 1 clone can be made when first learned, plus 1 more each time retrained, for a maximum of five. Multiple clones can explode either simultaneous or in order; how it goes is up to the user - just keep in mind each explosion consumes chakra individually. Requires five standard clay blobs.
Description: As its name implies, the Exploding Clay Clone is just that - a clone comprised of the clan member's famed clay, which, when infused within their hand-mouths with the power of Blast chakra, can be detonated. Additionally, should one's opponent become intertwined with the clone, they will be held in place and unable to maneuver due to the thick density of the clay. Because of this, this clone can take attacks and capture the enemy by taking them into its own body. The clone shows its natural shape the instant a body goes through. While the clay changes in hardness, the enemy is skilfully immobilized. How are they detonated? Through the classic 'Katsu!' that triggers all Kibaku-Nendo explosions.

Special: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.

Genjutsu Kai! (Release)

Special: User can only release themselves from illusions of equal or lower rank. Chakra costs is equal to the Genjutsu being dispelled.
Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Description: Kekkai • Tengai Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique named a barrier jutsu due to the field of chakra that it disperses around. After having their hands come together, the user can extend a sensory barrier to detect the movements of a hidden foe. Should the field touch their opponent, the user will know their position immediately.

Description: Using their quickness and agility, the user will perform a highly swift upwards kick at their opponent or at a weapon they are wielding, sending either or flying in the air.

Senpuu (Whirlwind)

Special: Up to one roundhouse kick can be performed while hovering per use, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Using their quickness and agility, the user charges at their target and quickly spins their body in place, performing a flying round house kick on those opponents within the user'srange of attack.

Dai Senpuu (Great Whirlwind)

Special: Knock-back equals 5 meters, plus 1 more each time retrained. User retains amount of spins from Senpuu. Each roundhouse that lands does "C" ranked damage.
Description: The second evolution of Senpu, the user now charges at the opponent with such force that their kick now delivers considerate knockback power, to the point bones could be broken.

Special: Each rank determines the range at which they can detect chakra, whether it comes from a person, animal or even an object. By closing their eyes and forming a simple seal, the world of chakra around the user becomes unveiled. Upon learing the s-ranked version, the user will no longer need to form a hand seal to activate this technique. However, this technique still requires a large portion of concentration to use, and therefor is generally incapable of being used in combat (unless the user was to hide for a moment in order to activate it).

Description: Kagura Shingan is an advanced Sensory Ninjutsu technique used by all sensors, and serves as the root to the entire sensory tree. After performing the necessary handseal, the sensor closes their eyes and uses their innate ability to detect chakra in order to determine the location of their opponent by the faintest of chakra trails, as well as discerning the size of an approaching unseen force, and even their chakra capacity.

Kagura Genzou (Kagura's Illusion)

Special: Allows the Sensor to detect when a Genjutsu has been casted upon them. Highest rank known determines level of detectable genjutsu. Cannot stop Pain Genjutsu.
Description: With this enhancement to Kagura Shingan, the sensor is now able to detect the difference in chakra signatures, discerning illusionary threats that have been cast upon them. While this does not automatically break an illusion, it allows the sensor the knowledge of revealing hidden traps so that they can quickly escape the situation.

Special: Allows the Sensor to determine whether a particular target is lying or not by the chakra fluctuations triggered.
Description: Once the sensor begins to understand how to properly mold and detect their chakra, they will learn to look into the specifics of others. With this technique, a sensor is able to detect a truth from a lie by observing the way the chakra waves fluctuate within the one being interrogated. An excellent shinobi tool.

Special: Allows the Sensor to suppress their chakra so that other sensors or even chakra sensing vision cannot spot them.
Description: With this enhancement to Kagura Shingan, the sensor is now able to block out their chakra signal, so that other methods of chakra detection cannot trace them. While they remain nonetheless visible, without a chakra trail the sensor is free to move about stealthily without having fear of getting caught.
