After your introduction you will wait to arrive along the shores of iwagakure and your proctor will head you out into a secret passage shadowed by giant rocks which takes you straight to the conference room. The first thing you will notice of the entrance is that it has no doors on its hinges. As you make your way past this breezeway you are relieved from the pressures of the heat by a welcoming breeze filtering from the air vents. But those pressures and anxieties you were feeling before may return after you see the never-ending supply of eyes staring you down as you enter.

The Chuunin Exams Conference Room rests directly in the center of Bakudon Gai. Whilst you all are walking towards this structure you notice behind it, in the horizon, a tall golden tower surrounded by the tall trees which cover its structure. Covering those trees and lifeforms is a large metallic gate. Unknown to your knowledge this serves as a replica of the forty-forth training ground - a historical landmark for the chuunin exams. But to access entry into the training ground one must first be able to pass the first exam.

Inside this conference room there are a few couches scattered across the white tile floor. Skid marks and dirty footprints can be seen along this tile because of the rough nature of some of the contestants. There are no lights within this building other than the flames flickering from the eight torches; two posted upon each wall. This will serve as a waiting place for shinobi until you are called to your respective places.

Not sure if I am teaming up with Grass yet so I will post it as a solo entry

This was where his journey would begin. The morning sun peaked its way through the clouds above as Satomi could notice a large golden-yellow ship docked in the harbour. This would be his ticket to the chuunin exams, his escort to Iwagakure where the exams were being held. He'd been full of mixed emotions this morning when he made his way out of his village, Kumogakure. A small party awaited him once he had left the village, made of close friends and well-wishers, which made his feel much more relaxed about his destination. It had been a hard couple of years for Kumogakure and it was just starting to find its feet again after the new ruling Raikage. There had not been many opportunities for Kumo as of late, but the Raikage thought it would be important to at least have a showing at the exams this year, as to demonstrate the new generation coming through the village.

Satomi stepped onto a thick wooden plank which connected the boat to the dock. There, waiting by himself, was a man who he presumed to be an official in charge of his travels. Official would definitively be a way to describe the man to a tee. Through his cheery smile Satomi could see that he was a true professional and took his job with the utmost integrity. From here on out Satomi had to make an impression on everyone he meet. He had to be the spokesperson for the event that Kumogakure truly needed. The man asked for the typical information needed for his entry on the boat, however he seemed to know everything he needed about Satomi already, with a creepy amount of intuitiveness. Satomi handed over the piece of paper with his information on it while the official looked over it over intensely.

After reviewing the information the official smiled at Satomi and spoke in a polite manner, offering him what seemed to be an official greeting. Asking if Satomi had any questions to ask he could only think of one. One that was trivial to most but something that none-the-less he needed to ask the man.

Hmm..are we able to smoke on here?

Once again offering him a smile, the official nodded intently to Satomi's relief as he guided him onto the ship. From here he would travel to Iwagakure, and Bakudon Gai. He had never ventured through this region and the excitement started to build in the young genin. As the possibilities of the destination wavered through his mind he sat in a seat, smoking a cigarette, contemplating about what was to come. He knew he was ready to be a chuunin and it was time for him to be able to prove himself. This journey would be long and far reaching so Satomi decided to catch some sleep before he got to his destination. He had not really received much shut-eye last night for obvious reasons.

He had finally arrived at his destination, Iwagakure. The official lead him off the ship and through a secret passage-way which was shadowed by large boulder-sized rocks either side, channeling the two men. Through the rocks the air was hot and wet as Satomi flicked the back of his hand over his forehead and made his way, following the man in front of him with full attention. The passage-way curved its way to what seemed to resemble an entrance, one with no hinges or door to it. Making his way through the doorway the feeling of heat and thick air was replaced with a cool and perfect breeze, like something formulated by the perfect fuuton jutsu. Closing his eye's ever slightly Satomi took in a deep breath inhaling the fresh crisp air around. When he reopened his eye's he was faced with many sets of eye's staring back at him, some with curiosity, and others with suspicious intent. These would be his opponents, all from different parts of the globe, all wanting what he wanted. To say the least the whole situation was a little daunting, but Satomi would never show it. His facial expression was as clear and dull as possible. He would not show a single slice of emotion, he would not give anything away for free.

He and the rest of the participants were bunched into groups by the proctors and told to follow them. They would be making their way to the Chuunin Exams Conference Room which lay in the middle of Bakudon Gai. Walking by himself nervously he looked around at his competition. Many looked strong and individualistic, each expressing their power and village in a unique visage of visuals. From this someone could deduct many things about their personal identity, anything that could give a upper-hand in gaining insight to their subjective image. Out of the corner of his eye, Satomi noticed a tall golden tower surrounded by the tall trees which was covered by a large metallic gate. It stood out and seemed to have prestigious standing in the village and area. Allowing curiosity to take control Satomi wondered what could be inside as he keep walking, making his way to the Conference Room. He felt like a tourist.

Once at his destination the true nerves started to kick in. He had put in a lot of hours into both the mental and physical sides of the exams. He had received help from previous participants from Kumogakure, but they made sure to tell him to expect the unexpected as the exams always changed in some way to that of previous years. Peering around subtly he noticed couches and chairs scattered around the room on top a white tile floor. The floor itself was dirty and he wondered if this was the nature of Iwagakure, known as a rocky and dusty nation Satomi pondered about their unique customs and rituals and wondered if it was much different to that of Kumogakure. This would be where Satomi would wait to be called into the first round of the chuunin exams. It was pretty dark with only a select few torches lining the walls for illumination and flickers of light. Perhaps this was a tactic in order to scare the participants? Either way Satomi was not phased. He could see some participants chatting and laughing while others sat in solitude seemingly lost in thought. Sitting back in his chair Satomi relaxed, it wasn't his style to stress. He already knew what he had to know...hopefully.

Heavy foot steps would marr the alabaster mounds beneath his feet, the sound of wavering blades of emerald, being the only thing to be heard in the longest time aside from the respective footfalls of his konoha allies. This journey would test Ue's capableness as not only a shinobi, but as a man. However, this rigorous journey would not be tackled and surmounted head on and alone, nay, he'd have help from both allies and friends, shinobi who would lay their lives for their brothers in arms.

("Well, today is the day. Feel like alot will come out of this experience. Not only will I undoubted become a chuunin, but it seems that its being held within the country my master was last seen and heard of. Perhaps with some effort I can investigate once these activities are over.")

The sky was naked this day, clouds far and few, scattered about like torn paper on a teal cloth. The sun was high and radiant, bathing me in its waves of golden brilliance, casting its permeating across the lay of land. The day was still relatively young, yet it seemed tediously long as Ue trekked through plethora's of undergrowth, distancing himself from the bastion of oak and tree's little by little. His gait of travel was quick, swift, and flawless, it was to be expected given that he's waited years to enter the exam. His crimson plates of armour shuffled as his hair swayed resplendently from the mindless pulls of high rise winds that occasionally swept through the area once he reach Hi no kuni's border.

Stepping across the threshold in which lead to foreign lands, his eyes and spirit was filled to the brim with a vengeful taint. Not only that, but the entire country itself, from the pervasive bodies of rock and everything it entailed, it was unpalatable to Ue's senses. Barren. Barren 'twas the life beyond This country's border, bustling with conglomerated bodies of rock that otherwise seemed impossible for nature to successfully form. Truth be told, Ue had no qualms with the elemental properties of this land, it only supported his combative prowess of Doton. The sun beat upon this terrain with furor and unhindered in a azure sky, rays of warmth enveloping the all with in the boarders, lofting about aimlessly in the fate-less winds as they would cruise never dying.

With several steps, and minutes of travel, Ue had come to lay eyes upon a yellow vessel, namely the one he was expected to board, well, only if he truly wished to participate within the exams. Stepping onto the wooden platform which acted as a small, surrogate bridge to the boat itself, a sheet of paper containing Ue's identification.

The call had finally come it was time to handle his business. It was time travel towards one of the places that he had vowed not to go back to. Continuing you to walk alone as he walked up the rocky path that would eventually lead him to the boarder of Hi No Kuni. "I hope Ue and Iss can make it on there own." Bit would mutter to him self as he approached the country's boarders. "I dread having to leave this wonderful places, I'll be back in a couple of weeks, a little stronger and more battle tested." Time - Skip Finally arriving to Tuchi No kunai the Uchiha would let out a sign of relief. looking around every thing was the same as he left it, It was no surprise to him though. It seemed like this place never changed, not even the rocks shift to different spots. But he didn't dowel on it to much longer, he just kept his head high and continued to head for the capitol. "I thing seem to never change in this place, it's crazy." The Uchiha would say to him self as the wind picked up blowing his hair a little. "Looks like I'm here." Bit would say as he looked into this town that he once protected. "Still run down as ever." This was also the place where Bit go put in a real world situation, He learned that too much talking can lead to you sleeping on the floor, during a fight. But off that The young Leaf Shinobi finally found the building that he was suppose to be checking into. Walking into the building he would see that a few people already arrived to the room. Bit had his mind set on finding his teammates, When he finally spotted Ue-san he made his way over to him. "Wassup, I guess we made it on time bro. Now we have to wait on our young one." The sky was dark blue, though with only a few grey clouds in it. Those very clouds would slowly, but surely be spread throughout the vast sky. As time went on, and they would also become thinner as well. Until the point when they would become so thin that they would vanish. And the dark blue sky would slowly become purple as a light in the far distance began to raise, and continue to change the color of the sky. Upon the rooftop of his house, where people on the inside were sleeping, waiting for the day to begin. The young shinobi had watched the beauty of it unfold in front of him, though knowing what this day would bring to him. It was the day that his life would take a dramatic change, because today is the day of the famous Chuunin Exams. He could only find himself daydreaming from time to time, losing himself in thought about the exams. He worried if he had what it took to compete with other shinobi across the world, and just how far would he get into the exams. His father and mother had told him stories about the Chuunin Exams from their times, and how it was hard to succeed. And that it was so dangerous that people got killed or died when they participated in it. He would then wonder if he would die, would this generation of shinobi be so cruel as to kill another, much like themselves, who is only just really getting into the shinobi world? Then again, people were evil.

He could never let that escape his mind that the people of the shinobi world was cruel and selfish, wishing that he could have lived in a simpler time. As his thoughts had progressed, so did the day, the sun was now visible and slowly rose up, shedding it's glimmering light over the village, signaling that it was the day of a brand new day. The light had also symbolized that he had a bright future in front of him, as he looked on to it, as if the sunlight was leading a trail of light to him to walk upon, to get to a new and bright future. He could have only had hoped that this was the meaning of the actions the sunlight's appearance and actions. He had then inhaled deeply, taking a big breath before he would raise up from his bottom onto his feet, standing upon the edge of the building. He leaped off of his building, heading for others, gracefully landing on each one without making a sound, leaping from one to another with each house in his way as he headed toward the destination that he had to go to for the exams. He was like a true shinobi, moving quickly and stealthily as he moved through the village, as the sun continued to raise, he managed to maneuver in the shadows, so that no one could see him.

His parents were against him going to the Chuunin Exams at such a young age, and he had given them his word that he wouldn't go. But, he couldn't help but hear it calling out to him. He had then came across the location where the other Konoha-nin would be, as they reached the boat that would have taken them on their journey to another country for the exams. He appeared out of nowhere, and the leaves had danced around him, as he if he was dancing in their shadows. Before he had gotten upon the boat, and he looked back at the country, with the sun still raising above it, and the leaves in the tree's danced happily, taking it as another good sign, that the nature of the country was happy. The leaves bathed in the sun, like all the happy villagers of Konoha, though, they had lived mundane lives, they would never have to experience the true cruelty that the shinobi faced, who were like the roots growing in the ground, extending the life and connections of the villages and countries, bringing money into the village and making alliances with others so that they wouldn't be wiped out. He looked up into the heavens with a smile. ("Sorry, Mom and Dad...But, I'm a shinobi..") He then turned around and boarded upon the yellow boat.

Time-Skip!

The boat ride from Konoha to Bakudan Gai was pretty long, it had made him think about other things, that, wasn't necessarily good. His fears of not being good enough had crept in the back of his mind, but, he didn't show any signs of it. Just keeping everything that he had thought of deep within the confines of his mind. Once they had reached their destination, he was happy again, he was able to leave the boat and the depressing atmosphere that it had created, just from riding upon it with the other shinobi from around the world, little to no people had actually talked to each other. Though, he couldn't quite realize why people wasn't trying to meet others from the other villages, it should have been one of the main things that they tried to do, really. Since we all came from different places. Like, what did we have against each other, really?

The landscape of Bakudan Gai was vast, with nothing but earth and rocks, like it was some time of vacant wasteland, though, there were buildings and stuff, those too were just rocks. It was a horrible place, and he could only have imagined what it must've felt like to live in such a gloomy place. He followed the proctor along with everyone else into the Conference Room, and there it would have been filled with hundreds of other Genin. As his eyes had swept across the room, he could capture every eye that was looking at him, some expressionless, looking at him as if he was a nobody, while others had a rather aggressive expression, looking at him as if he was just another piece of meat.

He was shocked at how many other contestants were there, though, he had kept his composure, looking around for the other Konoha-nin, figuring it was better to be with them, he went off looking for them. ("Where are those guys..?")

A solemn figure approached the yellow vessel, greeting the proctor with a translucent stare. The words he spoke held no meaning, and what little response Kaito gave proved that to be true. Thin cold digits delve beneath his ivory jacket, retrieving a small parchment with letters scribble quickly in ink. Nothing of formality, the strokes were sloppy and likely done to relay information quickly.

His head would nod in confirmation before proceeding, walking casually onto the ship and finding a seat near the bow for the remainder of his travel. Sitting upon the hard wooden deck, he managed to stand his large blade by forcing it into the crevice between planks. Maybe not the most practical approach, but it kept damage to a minimal and allowed him to have his weapon close in case the mood escalated.

After several days of travel, the shinobi could see the shores of Bakudon Gai on the horizon. Mountains rose to a peak which plateaued where the smoke of the city could be seen funneling into the sky. And it took until he arrived into its docks to realize the stature this city truly held. Kaito was the first to exit the ship, eager to once again feel the stationary surface of ground. He felt dizzy, as everything around him still rocked like the ship on open waters. This must have been what some referred to as sailor's legs.

He blinked hard, trying to focus on the still earth. Breathing deeply, he was able to subdue the motion sickness and press on along the dirt path to which they were guided. Dried earth crunched beneath his feet, leaving a trail of footprints that lead to an opening in the rocks. He followed the path, taking notes of the people around him and the way they held themselves. Nonetheless he stayed reclusive, speaking not a word, even in the presence of his comrade.

Soon they had arrived at the entrance, the doorway was empty allowing him to step into the confines of the conference room and feel the cool chill of vents breathing down his back. The room he entered next was small, white tiles lined the floor; the conditions of the room were poor, dirtied and decaying, it appeared as though this place had been abandoned previously and only recently seized by the leaders of the shinobi world. The shinobi found himself in the far corner of the room adjacent to a torch, he leaned hard against the wall, his hands resting on the hilt of his large blade that stood before him. Eyes drifted cautiously around the room, the suspense was building, and people were beginning to wonder what this event would hold.

Given Iwagakure's unfortunate circumstances, it appeared that an alternate route had been selected specifically to usher those of us eligible from the Village Hidden Within the Rocks. The path designated was very unpronounced and appeared to have been beaten down over time, which lead me to believe it's location had been forfeited by a local. It took me some time to reach the end of the trail but when I did I was confronted by a man in semi-formal attire. He promptly requested for my information to which I obliged by handing him a slip of paper containing all the necessary contents. Name: Kikkawa, Uekyuuchi. Village: Iwagakure no Sato. Team: Four. Number of Teammates: 2 He smiled before revealing that he would be escorting me to Blast City. I hadn't been since I was a boy. "You've got people accompanying you so we'll have to wait for all of them to arrive. If they aren't here by the designated leave time, we'll go on without them." I only nodded before proceeding to board the unmarked pontoon ferry he stood before. I would continue to examine my surroundings while I waited for my acquaintances. From what I could tell, it appeared we were floating atop one of the many channels of an anabranching river, whose stream evidently pulled in Blast City's direction.

TIME SKIP

Eventually we arrived at the edge of Bakudon Gai where we were shuttled off our ferry and down yet another ominous path. Towering rock formations loomed over our heads, leading us in the direction of another unsettling building. I readily took note of the door frame our proctor directed us toward, the one that lacked the hinges to even hold a door, before hoisting a brow skyward.

Still I refused to speak. The temperature difference between the corridor we'd left and the room we entered went unacknowledged but I did huff a sigh of sentiment after noticing the tower off in the distance. It had obviously been constructed in good taste. A modest regality emanated through it's image that led me to expect some sort of extravagant display on the inside. Instead I found standing inside of a largely unlit room whose dimensions stretched further than my eyes could tell.

Despite my insecurity I stood sure and collected, using any sense that I did have to feel for any aggressive energy directed toward me. Things were already getting interesting.

To learn that the Chuunin Exams would be held in Tsuchi no Kuni gave me no greater thrill. I knew this land moreso than those who would come to visit, along with the other Iwagakure shinobi. I had very little doubt we would be incapable with the terrain. I had no idea what to expect from these Tests, of if I would come out alive. But I knew one thing more than all else. I was an ambassador of Iwagakure, and I would prove our Tsuchikage how proud he would be of us.

I couldn't help but chuckle at the fact we had to travel by a boat, to Bakudon Gai, when we could easily have traveled by foot and been more safe. I had my doubts about traveling on this feeble creation, completely open to slaughter. I spoke to the man in urgancy, wishing my information to be kept to him alone.

As the boatman gave me a questioning look, I simply explained I was a willing follower of my teammate, and as such our team became born. Simply giving an awkward smile before gesturing towards the boat, I calmly walked off the moor before jumping into the boat, landing squarely on my toes. I had to keep my hands still, for Coco was not here to steady my nerves, if she would have chosen to. Being the only passenger, I hoped Coco would arrive in Bakudon Gai quickly after I did. Afterall, she was a woman, and a very intuitive one at that. I'm sure she would have no trouble finding where to go.

Yet the travel was peaceful, with not a single disturbing sound to be heard. As I looked out to the water I saw something I had somehow managed to miss all these years. The ripples seemed to be endless, one starting where another had ended. Perhaps this is one of the many things the Exams would entail. I wondered who I would see there, and what new forces I would battle against.

Time Skip!

What seemed like minutes bleed into hours, my eyes beginning to role in the back of my head out of boredom. Upon arriving I was awakened from my self-induced catatonic state by a violent shake. Whether on purpose or by accident, the boatman had hit the tip of the vessel against the moors, where he quickly gathered ropes to tie it down. Ushering me out of the boat, I stood waiting for him to guide me the way. After climbing with much effort, the man came beside me before pointing a finger towards a path which seemed to lead into a dark throat of ill-intent.

Regardless, I followed the man, not knowing whether or not I would truly arrive at my destination alive. As we walked I saw crags twisted, appearing to have faces suffering a great agony, locked in some evil nightmare. The further we traveled the less secure I felt. Perhaps this man knew the way out, but I did not know the way in. If her were to abandon me, I would surely be left to rot. It was at this moment that we came upon a shoddy looking building, a structure of which I could not discern any recognizable features.

He pointed at the door, which I assumed I was to enter. When I inquired him coming along, he simply gave a shake of head, telling me he would not be taking part in the dark games of the shinobi. This did not ease my worry, instead filling my mind with awful possibilities. Searching my courage, for Coco if no one else, I stepped inside. Here I was further lead into the darkness of the pit, where I was lead to a door-less frame. As I was roughly pushed inside, I saw a rather bleak setting, the room barely lit with faces blurred by shadows. I stood right by the door, where Coco would see me when she entered. I hoped more than anything she would make it here safely.

Name: kade Village: kusagakure no sato Team: grass Number of Teammates: 0 quickly handing the information back over to the staff he'd soon make his way to the edge of the boat, leaning over it for the time being. their arrival to the blast city of the earth country wasn't too long, but it took a few days. well rested kade would be one of the first to leave the boat, and due to this would also be one of the first to arrive in the room where the first part of the chuunin exams would take place. though he would not take a seat. instead kade found himself leading against one of the room's walls as he awaited the other genin to arrive.

Oblivious, fate beckoned me, and unthinkingly I, Hotarubi Kohana heeded its call. I followed right behind my partner as we navigated the worn trail, directed by the letter we had received. I stayed quiet under the blue sky, my garbs were what I'd usually wear, eye patch covering my cursed eye, my body dressed in a lavish kimono stitched with, vivid, floral patterns.

Following behind the blonde haired man and onto the boat that'd ferry us away to Blast City, I gazed about docile in appearance. Blast City was my second home where I was raised before shortly being taken to Iwagakure. The quiet, waning waves were gorgeous as ever, I'd lean over the banister, looking into the clear water, staring at that of which reflected from the surface. The boat would began moving soon, down the canal to where Blast City lied.

Me and my partner shared no words, there wasn't a need to. When the time would come we would both know what to do. He was already aware of my capabilities and abilities. traits I could not leave him oblivious too and I the same. We'd make a good team that I was sure of. Off the boat finally I traveled another obscure path, rock and earth towered above us.

Shuffling behind most of the participants, I was guided into the corridor, the flickering of amber flames lighting our path as we progressed forward into the unknown. I awaited word for what to do next as I stood beside Kikkawa`san, my eyes shut and my world casted in darkness.

Fashionably late, as always. To be frank, i had been debating turning up for the boat at all, given the location of the exams this year. In our very own land of stone, the capital city, to be precise. A spot of shopping, maybe a glass of wine, then rolling on up to the location, now that would've been more appealing. However, protocol was protocol, and as such, there i was, strutting up to the boat, utterly unconcerned. This was a personal test, a challenge i had to overcome, were i to grow stronger. Kain... This was no time to be thinking about him. Not just yet. Not when it was still so raw.
"Muu, dear!" I called, brushing past the member of staff, and boarding the boat, my heels clacking loudly on the wood. It occurred to me that perhaps the name i knew him by was not his true moniker, but such things were trifling.

I smiled upon seeing him again, my lips a delicate shade of pink, rather than my usual vivid red. However, it seemed my details were required, and who was i to deny someone of my autograph?
"Call me Coco, darling. Village would be Iwagakure, number of teammates is one, this fellow here, and my team? Why, team fabulous of course! ♥" I said exuberantly. Perhaps i was rather tipping the balance of bubbliness today, and perhaps it was merely the extra work i was putting in without Kain by my side, but i wasn't going to let my beautiful façade crumble. Not again. Tousling my voluminous hair in my usual manner, i leaned over the side of the boat, enjoying the view as we departed. Coy glances over my shoulder let me observe the motley crew of chuunin-wannabes, my competition. I noticed the girl with the eyepatch, hopefully something of an ally, and one other bearing the stone headband, a man i did not recognise, looking rather calm from my view.

Before long, we arrived at our destination, and were ushered into something of a 'secret passage'. I barely stifled a giggle as we proceeded, feeling very much part of some delightful conspiracy! However, the end result evoked rather less enthusiasm, a dreary sort of room, in desperate need of an interior designer. It was here that the atmosphere became rather more serious. Sailing always made me feel optimistic and content, but the tension in a room designed to hold shinobi, before the beginning of a no doubt gruelling challenge, elicited somewhat darker emotions.
"I can't help wonder just how many will make it through alive... Gracious, it's exciting, don't you think?" I cooed, slipping elegantly onto one of the nearby couches, making sure Muu was nearby. When in doubt, gloss up your pout, a saying i lived by. Producing my cosmetics purse, i began applying a light layer of the shimmery gloss, slightly lighter than the lipstick i wore. My eyes roamed the room from under my false lashes, observing everyone. Was i ready for this? Perhaps not, but at least this way, i won't have much time to think of you, Kain.

I was happy to accept the honor, and when the time came for the boat to arrive, I stepped onto the main deck rather plaintatively, the admission slip passing briefly between my fingers as it found its way into the hands of the examiner. All I could tell was that we were in for a long ride... !Skime Tip The ride had indeed been long; longer than I'd have preferred, with little for company, and little to do. However, despite less than enthusiastic travel, at least it was scenic. We departed the craft, and were led elsewhere; it was towards the town, however we passed though by means of a dark crevice between the rocks on the beach, where we entered down into a secret passage. A passage that eventually grew into a room full of people. There seemed to be folks from every nation here, with varying ages, as well as proctors. The mood seemed excited, but tense, and to be fair, it was probably owing to the decor, given the stark walls, and the spartan furniture. There was little to be said of anything, except that everyone here who wasn't an examiner was after the same thing, and already people appeared to be playing social games, likely trying to gather information about their opponents. I was fine with that, though. The social ninja would talk, and they'd try to learn what they could of one another, looking for any edge. My strategy was simple, however. I would make my way to the corner, and stand there, the bland whiteness of my robes no doubt serving to help me blend in to the demure decoration. I would observe and ignore. Unless a proctor spoke, I would be unattentive and uncaring towards any questions, should they be levied. It wasn't personal, per se, just simply good planning. Let the social butterflies do all the work. I would simply sit back and eavesdrop, gathering everything I could while relaying very little. It was the next best thing I could do aside from actual spying, and was far less conspicuous... Which, in a room full of ninja, was hardly a bad thing. Similar to any other day, the golden-locks child awoken from her deep slumber and began to premeditate the adventures that waited for her. Today would be the day that she would venture off to the Chuunin Exams, and to be quite frank, the young lady was absolutely anxious. There would not be anything in the world that could settle her nerves that crept into her stomach. The only way for her to feel more comfortable about this whole ordeal would be when she had finally begun to take the exams. However, even then, she would be curiously waiting for her results to the exams! The whole idea of shinobi from different hidden villages all competing for the same goal scared her. She knew that she had enough techniques in her arsenal to get by, and she completed a string of missions to gain experience—but how could she be one-hundred percent sure that it was enough? There was only one way for her to find out.

Ensuring that she had all of her ninja equipment properly packed, the ever-worrying woman would leave the comfort of her village and trek towards the country’s dock. To her surprise, there was a colossal yellow boat remaining at bay. ’I guess that one is for me?’ The strange, unknown proctor required information about the Cloud kunoichi. Willingly, she handed over a small parchment containing the basic information that the proctors would need to know about her such as: her name, the village that she was from, her partner, and other imperative general information. Nervous hands trembled as she unfolded the piece of paper and handed it to the proctor. It felt as though she was selling her soul away…there was an uneasiness brought over her about the entire process of the exams. 'Why did they have to make everything so mysterious and obscure?'

Needless to say, the long voyage was undisputedly awkward. There was no reason for the blond child to stress over the unknown, so instead she decided to think about happier memories about her other past trips. She especially loved the time when she and her family traveled to the land of Snow. It was definitely a country that she would not mind traveling to again; there was just something about that place that truly intrigued her. Keeping her thoughts occupied, in no time the Kumogakure shinobi had made it to the sacred location of the exams—somewhere in Tsuchi no Kuni. ’Oh...this is something, different.’ She was a bit worried at first, wondering if they would have to survive in the deep rocky terrain of this wasteland of a country. Although, maybe being stranded in a foreign land would not be such a bad thing. One of her strong points was being resourceful, and she would use whatever she had or could find to her advantage.

There was no doubt that once she entered the conference room, there would be no turning back. She held her head up high, keeping a rather nonchalant facial expression as she made her entrance into the room. No words would be spoken on her part, and she would not fidget in the slightest. Her posture was simply divine, almost to the point where her appearance looked as though she were but a statue. Her golden hair rested effortless over her shoulders. She wore her blue kimono with black shinobi shoes as her mission attire. She wanted to remain fashionable while still being sensible to what the situation called for. The cloud headband remained proudly on her forehead; there was no reason to hide which country she hailed from. All she had to do was continue waiting there until she was told where to go. Until then, the young kunoichi kept relatively quiet and to herself.

As he stepped upon the boat and the vessel set out, Touketsu reached into his pouch to pull forth a flask, opening it with the flick of a wrist. The strong smell of alcohol rose into the air, carried away by the winds within moments. One gulp after another, throat burning, an irony considering the man’s heritage, at least in a twisted sense of the word. The anxiety faded as his senses dimmed. Not only his senses calmed, but he faded out of consciousness into a warming rest.

Hours passed…

When the boat came to a halt, Touketsu awoke, head aching furiously from the alcohol he had consumed before. Grudgingly, he stood quickly, no more intoxicated, yet truly prickly as reality struck. What would he encounter? Who? He knew not, and to worsen matters, Touketsu consumed alcohol excessively while sailing, a vice he had hoped was overcome. A frown spread across his features as his eyes shifted rapidly. Glancing at his own reflection Touketsu simply shook his head and went on his way. Nothing noteworthy to see. With a rushed step the man walked through the streets, the conference room the sole designation, wasting not the slightest moment.

Upon arriving his crimson eyes, a trait of his blood, that of the Airontoku, burned with a passion, anticipation gradually replacing anxiety. Still his head ached, and the breath was tainted with the stench of alcohol, each breath betraying the previous intoxication. Silently he awaited, without the slightest greeting, arms folded and back straightened. Touketsu was certain that he was prepared.

It seems those cigarettes had already gotten the better of him in his young years. The proctor would take a second to cough before pulling out a slip of paper from his back pocket. This slip of paper would become cupped within the gaps of his thumb and pinky finger so that he could hold the light from the cigarette a bit closer to the paper to reveal its contents. To the right side of him, behind a few of the genin within the room, a patch of earth 2 meters wide and 4 meters long would reveal a classroom. He would begin calling out the names of the shinobi to enter this classroom. 'Ue Zenkami, Uchiha Bit, Kougi Touketsu, masamune isshin, and kade you will all be seated within classroom one. Please exit through the door to my right.' he'd muster out giving a moment for the shinobi to enter the classroom. After they'd all exited into their rightful place the earthen door would regrow back over the gap that had been created.

Proctor Tenzin would continue to point now to his left with an outstretched hand before continuing on. 'kaguya satomi, hayline lia, heiwajima koga, kohana hotarubi. Your destination is on my left, classroom two. .' Tenzin replied giving the shinobi a moment to enter their classroom. After the second group had been placed within their rightful classroom he would smile deviously through the smoke filtering from his cigarette. 'The rest of you (yukina shinryu, nomazaki kaito, Coco Von Alexandria Valentino the second, uekyuchi kikkawa), into classroom three! he'd say finally with the last of his breathe. . . behind him a gaping hole in the wall would spread outwards in a circular motion revealing the light from the third classroom.
