Tokaichuu no Jutsu (Elemental Bug Technique)
Rank:S
Range:Close (0m ~5m), Mid (5m ~10m), Far (10m+)
Type:Supplementary
Handseals:--
Chakra Consumption: Low per turn
It is said that these insects are flame given life. They are smaller than any other Tokaichuu variant currently known, and resemble small floating embers, that dance and hover while they await their masters orders. In combat, they are a purely destructive force, who fly forth and seek out their targets hoping to swarm and encircle them. Upon contact, these insects begin to burn and melt any material around them. Emitting such high levels of heat that a mere 200 of them upon a limb or appendage would be enough to completely cover it in 1st degree burns which only increases in severity as long as they are attached. (2nd degree burns would develop around 2 turns, and 3rd degree at 3 turns)
Note: When used in tandem with Kikaichuu techniques, the Hihaimushi will seek to burn and melt away flesh, as opposed to eating away the opponents chakra. The intensity of their generated flame and heat, can be increased with the correctly associated Katon masteries ( At best, melting steel, and lowering the amount of turns before 2nd and 3rd degree burns by 1.) [/ul]
Being the largest versions of Tokaichuu, these insects are heavier (though not to the point of hindering their user), and stronger than their other counterparts. Umerukouchuu are insects evolved to burrow beneath the ground and survive there for extended periods of time. While under ground, these insects can sense seismic activity, as well as locate anything within the surrounding area that is in contact with the earth, and relay the location of it to their owners (Capable of sensing up to 10 meters in every direction per 200 insects used, for a maximum of 30 meters in every direction). These insects also possess a vicious appetite that, a long with their long pincer like facial muscles and reinforced chitin, allows them to eat away the supportive structures of platforms and structures (both man-made and natural), that consists of earth, wood, and even metal.
Note: These insects are capable of burrowing in earth, steel, and wood (as well as material of a similar nature), and retain their sensory ability while doing so.
[/ul]
These small, horsefly sized insects, are perhaps the most versatile of all Tokaichuu. Breed for pure support, the Shinkuu no Mushi have very little offensive capability at all. Though this is not to say they do not have a place on the battle field. Feasting on the Wind natured chakra of their owner for so long, has given these insects a natural affinity for flight, and air control. All Shinkuu no Mushi can coat themselves in razor sharp chakra and buzz about their target, ripping, and slashing at high speeds.
Note: When used in tandem with kikiachuu techniques the insects will hunt down their prey and take on the cutting power of wind, slashing and berating their target with multiple cuts. [/ul]
The oddest of all Tokaichuu, Suitoba no Mushi are unique, but odd, long legged insects with long thin wings. Their bodies are thin enough to allow them to dive through water and swim at high speeds, or simply stand atop it, floating naturally as they coat their thin legs with chakra purely through instinct. These insects seek out any form of moisture, and drain it from the selected source, until completely dry
Note:When used in tandem with Kikiachuu based techniques, Suitoba no Mushi will seek out their target, and attempt to drain the moisture from their bodies with their long, thin, needle like mouths. This severely dehydrates an enemy, weakening them, and leaving behind a shriveled appendage, or corpse, depending on where, and how long they were attached. (It would take no less than 3 turns to completely drain an appendage or body, leaving it lifeless.) [/ul]
These ominous bugs are never seen very clearly outside of their swarms. Instead they rise from their owner, like a cumulus cloud, a swarm of insects dancing about so silently, you can scarcely hear anything from them was it not for the occasional buzz and flash of lightning. Raikonchuu are a special breed of Tokaichuu, who have taken on the powerful storm bringing abilities of the Lightning nature chakra. Within their black, grey bodies, is a small bulb like conductor, formed naturally through their exposure to lightning chakra, that allows them to displace, and discharge electricity. This also allows them to act as a conductor/lightning rod, drawing in all lightning based techniques and absorbing or dissipating them.
Note: When used in tandem with Kikaichuu based techniques, Raikonchuu will seek out their target, and once contact is made, send out a small shock of electricity into the nervous system, numbing and paralyzing whatever limb or body part, they should happen to fall upon (taking a single turn to numb a limb or body part, and up to 3 turns before full paralysis. It should be noted that while attached to a target, the lightning rod ability of the Raikonchuu is still active. Meaning, the lightning projectile will be drawn to the target and seek them out so long as they are within range, or the Raikonchuu are still attached.[/ul]
