Aerodynamic Wing Set
Rank: D-S
Type: Puppetry
Special: Takes up 2 slots at D rank with an additional 2 slots per rank. Wings must account for 60% or more of the puppets overall size, limiting the size capabilities of even high ranking puppets and only making it practical for an S-rank puppet with S-rank wings capable of transporting a person. These wings instead boost the speed of a puppet allowing it to maneuver at faster speeds than even the shinobi controlling them; D-rank wings allow a puppet to travel at 125% the users speed, C-rank at 150%, B-rank at 175%, A-rank at 200% and S-rank at 225% or 125% with a person. Aerodynamic wings suffer in structural integrity though meaning the puppets wings 2x the damage a normal puppet part of that rank would take.
Description: Metal frame work like a birds bone structure, lined over with a light yet weather sturdy fabric, these contraptions flap, float and get to the destination first.
Cost: D-rank 200, C-rank 1000, B-rank 2000, A-rank 5000, S-rank 10000
Flutter Wing Set
Rank: D-S
Type: Puppetry
Special: Takes up 2 slots at D rank with an additional 2 slots per rank. These gear powered wings give a puppet access to flight without any conditions, it's speed however is totally based upon the quality of the wings. D-rank flutter wings give a puppet the ability to fly in any direction at 25% of the speed the user can move, C-rank move at 50%, B-rank at 75%, A-rank at 100% and S-rank at 125%. With the maneuverability of an insect and the strength of a puppet.
Description: A gear box set up to drive the high powered wings, these wings are much sturdier than their counter part aerodynamic wings, as the wings themselves need to survive constantly flapping at such velocities they often appear invisible or a mere outlines as if the wing were hollowed out. The wing shape itself varies, but they must have some insect counter part or humming bird design. Their material is the same strength grade as the entire puppet.
Cost: D-rank 200, C-rank 1000, B-rank 2000, A-rank 5000, S-rank 10000
Chopper Wing Set
Rank: D-S
Type: Puppetry
Special: Takes up 2 slots at D rank with an additional 2 slots per rank. A more complex wing set, these wings work not by flapping or gliding, but by redistributing air to give lift as well as propulsion. Requiring at least two propellers, at B-rank these wings can even lift a person. A D-rank propeller allows a puppet to lift 40lbs of weight at speeds of 20% the users speed, C-rank lift 80lbs at 40%, B-rank lift 120lbs at 60%, A-rank lift 160lbs at 80%, and S-rank lift 200lbs at 100%. Adding extra sets boosts the lift force by weights added minus 20 times the rank difference of the sets, but the speed boost is simply the average of the speeds per set. These wings will carry you across the lands you'd never want to walk in.
Description: A gearbox set which operates a fast spinning propeller to push the air above it down and give itself lift, another propeller wisely placed then guides the lift to give it direction. Whether the propellers are stand alone or built into the puppet itself, many different fans or turbines can be designed to elevate ones puppet higher. So long as one remembers there need to be an even balance of propellers to maintain appropriate balance.
Cost: D-rank 200, C-rank 1000, B-rank 2000, A-rank 5000, S-rank 10000
