And so I sat and continued my vigil, glancing upon the world at my 100 meter distance and observing all the different battles taking place. The black swarms of Kikaichu had begun their assault, striking at the Hachibi. From the distance, I couldn't see whether or not the creature was any effected by the swarm, but I had my doubts. If this Rokubi was anything like the Hachibi had been, getting close to the creature was without a doubt the wrong way to go about battling it. Live things seemed to not be able to handle the acidic chakra auras that the creatures emanated.
I had also seen with my own eyes the destruction of the man that I had thought was foolish in approaching the thing. Then, to my surprise, the bijuu's appendage would shoot upwards into the air, breaking apart into many smaller appendages that would attempt to encircle the floating man and attack him from many different angles, making escape surely very difficult. At around the same time, I watched as the two crazy people who had launched themselves forward earlier prepared their own assaults.
With an army of frozen-looking birds grabbing ahold of the lady and dragging her into the air, I began to wonder if, perhaps, the plan of the frost shinobi was to simply offer the bijuu a sacrifice in the hopes that it would go away. While unlikely to work, I could understand wanting to try it out; after all, most monsters from legends always seem to desire the beautiful females - something I, of course, had never understood.
With a dramatic shrug, I decided that once more I would simply continue to observe the battle taking place all around me. Perhaps, though, I should begin to get ready.
