Although the weather condition's of Kaze no Kuni had always been something that discouraged a great many travelers from exploring its land, however, in Masuyo's eyes, he saw its weather conditions and negative stories as a challenge & obstacle to triumph over; and triumph he did. Having made his way through the desert with nothing more than a pair of straw sandals, leather arm bracers, a white drawstring bag hoisted over his shoulder, and his navy blue gi, minutes, hours, and event days of walking finally paid off as he reached his desired destination.
Sandi Airando.
Considered to be neutral territory for travelers and a source of infinite natural resources for the weary, those facts alone registered as more than enough of a reason for Masuyo to see it for himself. Besides, the fact that he'd never met anyone capable of handling their own in close quarters combat within all of Kaze no kuni would've been more than enough to peak in interest, everything else had been nothing more than a bonus.
"Outside of how random this all looks in the middle of a desert, nothing really seems to be out of the ordinary."
Once spoken, his eyes continued to observe his surroundings as he passed building after building on both sides and noticed how well structured everything seemed to have been. Not long after had the heat from the relentless sun taken it's toll on Masuyo's body which triggered his desire for water. Looking about, a well had been spotted between two buildings ti which motioned towards whilst nodding his head out of excitement.
Slowly, he knelt beside the well and used the sides of both hands to create a 'scooper' that collected a small body of water after his hands emerged. With precision, he splashed water against his face and fiery hair which easily washed away the dust and sand that managed to accumulate on his face and inside his hair. Refreshing to the touch, the Second dip for water raised up to his mouth where he drank the entirety of it; he repeated the process several times before he retrieved a small face towel from his bag and dried his hands and face.
"Now that I'm here, question is, what is there to do."
